Had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. Great food with original taste, nice ambience, and friendly service. However, it's a bit costly, and there's no valet parking. Still worth a visit for the awesome taste!

Vintage vibes. I tried the mile jule kebab platter which was quite expensive but enough for 2 people. It came with free naan and dal makhani. You can also use dineout/zomato pro here. The taste of the food was amazing. The quantity was more than enough. It's a family friendly place and has a retro bollywood theme. Overall, the experience was greate and it's a must visit place for non veg lovers.

Really good authentic tasting Punjabi food. They have two menus: one for the street food that includes everything from sevpuri, Raj kachori to macroni... The other one is for Punjabi food which includes soup, starters, main course and dessert. We've had Paneer Khurchan and it was delicious they take care of the instructions you provide and cook the meal accordingly. They've a Angithi Special section in menu consisting all the special sabjis and it is good. Onion naan is also a very good option amongst tandoors, otherwise they have all common options including rumali, tandoori, naan, stuffed naan, stuffed parantha, etc... Little black boards also list 'Today's special' like all Sabji and dessert or chat that are special for the day. Baked gulab jamun with rabdi was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Definitely a worthy place.

Nov 2022 - Another great, well established, seasoned restaurant. Angithi has something for everyone - pani puri to biryani to pizza. We enjoyed the pleasent ambiance and good service. This is a Mirch Masal brand and the history of good food has followed. The Veg Dum Biryani I had was fantastic and believe me when I say that the vada pav was the tastiest I have had in Ahmedabad. Thank you for a wonderful evening out. Oh and don’t leave without having the carrot halva - addictive as well.

Old but trusted place for a good North Indian non-vegetarian fare. Visited it after about 10 years and seems like nothing has changed, which was perfect. Why fix something which isn’t broken. Food was yummy, staff were prompt, helpful and the suggestions worked well. The price to dish size ratio is good. Highly recommend for casual dining.

Mirch Masala Review Would recommend trying the "Papad da Kebab" as it was something different and quite tasty. Also Paneer Bhurji was great. The service was okayish not that great. The non-veg dishes were also very good. Had ordered Shikari Murgh Tikka and Gosht Dum Biryani. The place is very old and they have maintained their quality ever since.

Enjoyed dinner today. Entrance and interior are beautiful. Taste of ordered foods are also good. However, we found service level very poor. Nobody taking care unless you ask and delivery of food takes surprisingly long long time even if only 60% occupied with customers. Service level worst.

The place is lit in terms of both ambience and food. We tried aalu tiki, their special paneer inn main course, and boneless biryani, all turned out to be the best. Specially the desert- jalebi. The hot jalebies were super delicious. All of us had amazing dinner and would really recommend to go here once. The ambience has good Bollywood theme vibes but yes they do have some waiting time. Additionally , an old man with his violin stands infront of the hotel on service road, do listen him once, his violin is so soothing to ears. Localites says that they are seeing him since years, he comes every night with his violin and speaker.

Bollywood ambience is good. They have a very nice entrance door. They take back to the village environment. Cutleries are very nice and clean bronze metal. But I felt the food was over-expensive.

I visited Angithi Restaurant on the 16th April 2022 which also happens to be my birthday. We were around 11 people and I personally am a huge admirer of Punjabi food. The food, service, ambience and quality were absolutely excellent. I can assure you that you will get authentic Punjabi food here. Jodhpuri Mirchi vada in starter were excellent. Even a dish as simple as Papadi Chaat was served in a different style with unique taste. We had ordered different sets of Parathas. For Sabzi, we preferred a combination of Lasuni Makai Palak (green gravy) and Paneer Lazzardar (red) both were delicious. Tawa Biryani proved to be the icing on the cake. Everything about the restaurant is special. We had a wonderful experience and I can say it with confidence that you shall enjoy too. We couldn't order desserts but I believe they would be worth trying as well. I do not have pictures of the food items but sharing some of the pictures of traditional cooking utensils that excited me.

Not recommended for hardcore foodies. Food is very poor in terms of taste. Starters were good, but main course was highly disappointing. Compared to its high pricing, food is nothing in terms of taste. Location is good, service was good and ambience is nice even though a small place. 2 stars only for these positives. The main reason why people visit a restaurant if food and Angithi disappoints big time on the same.

The ambience was good, the food was tasty but the waiting time was too much, my friends ate a whole jar of pickles while waiting for food.... But the most important point is waiters were ignoring us and that's what I hated the most. So 4 stars for food but 1 star for waiters. Teach them manners.

Awesome food, professional staff with adequate menu knowledge, amazing theme based interior and atmosphere. All served dishes including chicken, Goat and veg options were outstanding. The atmosphere and theme based interior was cherry on a cake. It can be said like tribute all superstars of bollywood. Service is proMpt and waiters are knowledgeable. Their suggestion was genuine .

The food was good, it taste great. They have increased the price of a few items. Chicken items are pretty tasty here. You will enjoy your food but it might dig a hole in your wallet.

We visited this restaurant on New year day for lunch. Quality and taste of food is worth visiting. But level of service is not at par with other restaurant of the same group. We have to wait for long time after placing order. And different person come and ask for order. I suggest to visit this place only if you have plenty of time.

One of the Best restaurants taste food is good 💯

Been eating here since i was a young boy, but 15th March was disappointing. Kitchen n service seemed to be very low on staff. Every table around us seemed sulking. Simplest veg kebab took longer than seekh kebab to reach table followed by Disproportionate serving , Too much noise, one of customer even yelling for the late food service. biryani was hot/spicy that it seemed like a roadside laari ka pulav. A good day ended with sour note.

Ambiance is very beautiful. They decor their restaurant's interior with old and authentic kitchen equipments and vessels. 😍 😍 Very delicious food. Must try Dahi ke kabab. 😋😋😋 I'll surely plan to go again.

This is one of the best places wherein we get good non-veg food. Chicken tandoori and seekh kebabs are worth trying. Even variety of khichdi is available and worth trying.

A long pending visit to this place could finally be made successful. A weekday lunch ensured the place was pretty vancant. The ambience is lit and surely gives you a premium dining feel. The lightning is pretty bright and feels royal. On the food front we tried : Thupka soup : Really well made, had perfect balance of veggies and noodles. 4/5 Ratalu pattis : A bit dry considering it was made of Ratalu, but perfectly crisp. Good to go with mint dip. 4/5 Paniyaram : Ultra crisp and tasty balls made of Idli batter, served with tomato dip. Fresh and tasty. 4/5 Paneet Bhurji - Enough it quantity and fairly good in taste. We well with the Malabar Paratha 3/5 Hare Lasun mutter ki sabzi : This one was from the curries festival menu. Had good taste of garlic and mutter. 4/5 Baked Halwa with Rabdi : A speciality dessert here. Less sweet for my taste buds but surely enjoyable. 4/5 Service was fast and courteous with trained staff. The USP of the place seems to be limited items in the menu but surely great in taste and quality.

I found it cleaned and neat place. The ambiance is also very attractive. Service was at par with many similar restaurants in town. Had sarso da sag and makke di roti as special menu. Also ordered alu mutter and methi Paratha. The taste was just OK. The menu is a bit disappointing. It has limited variations, dominantly North Indian and if you are not a grate fan of Panjabi food then perhaps the menu has least to offer you. Overall 4 stars from me.

Today we have visited Angithi based on the review published in Times of India. But... Very pathetic service. We had to wait for more than twenty minutes for the main course to be served after we finished our Starters. We had ordered everything, but waiting for food was disappointing... They need to improve before giving adds in newspapers..

Nice food, it is also best tastewise. A bit costlier than any other restaurants of its level in market. But, i don't like the service they provide. Because, after your 2 or 3 orders, when you will order something that takes time to cook, the manager will be like, do you really want to order this, it will take time. It means he just want us to empty the table. I don't like this. Because we are paying for the services of the restaurant and that too at a high service charge. Giving three stars, only for the food. Otherwise, service wise, should not given them more than one.
