If Your'e a Coffee Lover and have really bad experience of Filter Coffee around Ahmedabad then that won't be the case here! I tried the filter coffee it was perfectly hot and perfect coffee taste! Though i am not a coffee person but still i really loved the coffee a lot and it's overall a different experience. The ambience is nice as this place is around 40 Years old it's maintained well! and Mainly it's hygienic all the tables were clean. Moreover as this place is adjacent to main road parking is as issue whether it's two wheeler or a car . It costs 40Rs with Tax 45Rs..i have attached menu pictures so you can have a look. Udipi cafe paldi is the best restaurant for not only South Indian cousins, they are serving Gujarati and Punjabi thali too. Very fast and accurate service they're providing, the quality of food is also excellent and accurate as per your orders. Location of paldi cross road is the prime benifit of this restaurant, they are serving much better food than so called food chain like honest etc. We wish them all the best and for future development of a family restaurant in the heart of the city. Tried Dhosa and Uttapam. Quality is very nice in the price. Sambhar and Coconut chutney are also very nice but in the sambhar more drumstick that is annoying however taste is really nice.

This restaurant might just have cracked the taste of pretty much everything on their menu! Have had Chinese at multiple places but these people have it the best! I ordered Chilli Paneer and Tandoori Roti and wallah! ❤️ The Roti was so soft and pillow like at parts and crispy and the other. The chilli paneer was good too. The ambience and cutlery is not fancy. It's pretty average but be assured it'll be clean. They have Chinese Dosas too and the rest of the menu looks interesting as well. Will visit again.

Legacy South Indian dishes. Ambience is average but quality of food is very nice. Idli, Batata wada sambhar are special items. I had Mysore plain butter dosa, it was superb. Worth trying if one like to taste south indian food.

Very old and well known restaurant. Also famous among travellers who board from Paldi Bus Station especially in Travels Buses. It is very live and chirpy place. A must visit for South Indian dishes. Their Dosa and Sambhar is very authentic and tasty. Both were loaded with vegetables and spices. The place is not very costly. Almost all Dosas (other than those fancy ones with cheese etc) are under 150₹ only. Sambhar and Coconut Chutney is unlimited, you can have as much as you want. The service is very fast. Parking is available infront of the gate where 10-12 two wheelers can be parked at once.

Udipi is brand. And I always enjoys there South Indian food. They have Chinese and punjabi too. But for me there South Indian is best.. It is near to paldi bus stand.. Exactly at the corner of the cross road. Always recommend to enjoy your food there

If you are really desperate, please eat at this restaurant. The South Indian food, supposedly of Udupi fame, is nowhere even close to the original. It’s clean and convenient. But that’s it. I will never ever come here again!

So it is best place for tourist, people who have some buffer time before changing buses, as this place is hub of private travels agencies as well as govt bus stop is there only. Place is clean with police staff providing good & speedy service. Food is tasty, but in peak hours this place is always crowded & you need some waiting before you get the table. You can get south Indian, punjabi, fastfood here. Price is very affordable. The only problem is parking of vehicle. Not only cars but for two wheelers also, you need to park far away & walk down to restaurant.

After many years i visited this restaurant on Saturday morning for South Indian food. Pros food quality is good . Combo options available in various items . Waiter staff very good . Prices are reasonable still have to visit for Punjabi food . Cons Bathroom or hand washing area is very very dirty unhygienic.

Nice restaurant, now it is modified. Late some 10 years back it was a road shop which was very famous for its South Indian food. Still you get the same taste. Tried South Indian thali and filter coffee. Superb.... Loved it

Udipi cafe is well located at paldi cross roads at the corner only. It has a different varieties of food like south Indian, north Indian, pau bhaji, snacks(sevpuri,bhelpuri).. South Indian food is really excellent. Didn't tried north india food though. Dosa was of many varieties.best were paneer Dosa, spring roll Dosa, pudina Dosa..they were different. Regular rava masala, rava onion Dosa, menduvada all were of too good quality and taste. Overall ambience is good..can be improved..beat congested. Recommended for taste and quality in comparison to rate.

Always loved the food. Been going there for years & most of the time felt little odd / bad with staff behavior. Left the restaurant today when I was asked to change the table just after the other staff sat me there! Otherwise a good restaurant.
