This is the another place apart from the Lucky Tea Stall wherein you can enjoy some great and tasty tea in Ahmedabad. I had visited this place way back in 2019 and since then things have changed drastically. Great ambiance, better seating arrangements and quick service. They serve halal non veg and the best thing about this restaurant is the Maska-bun with tea. Trust me you are going to love it. It is so yummy and filling at the same time. Peace ☮️✌️

It's one of the oldest restaurant/cafe in ahmedabad , located near 3 Darwaja. They've renovated the place right now, but have been serving since last 84 years. If you're a "Tea Lover" or surrounded by them (like me), then you must try their Tea and Muska Bun combo.

They offered the most delicious bread and butter, samosas and other Indian snacks, Parsi cuisine, Iranian-style tea, and cookies and other baked non veg dishes. I tried maskabun and tea. If you are a vegetarian person then this place is not good for you. This cafe has a great history In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, when the second wave of Zoroastrians emigrated from Iran (Iranis) to India, they opened small eateries called Irani cafés. They are, however, rapidly disappearing. In the 1950s, there were 350 Irani cafés in Mumbai; only some 25 remain. There is only one Irani café in Ahmedabad at Bhadra.

Lively, bustling cafe that is a hallmark of the Lal Darwaja neighborhood. The chai is phenomenal, the coffee was a bit too sweet, and the muskaban was a lovely accompaniment to the chai. Will have to try the Nutella variety next time! Owner is a lovely Irani immigrant to Ahmedabad, and can be seen socializing with guests. Would definitely recommend!

The is so well known in the city side yet i rated 1, here's why!! First of all the hype is worth it, the restaurant is so good for its tasty Maskaban and some non. Veg Items. The reason behind the rating only 1 is i order Keema pav, they gave me Ban instead of Naan (they thought i wouldn't recognise the difference 😏). Secondly, the Keema is the worst, i never tasted the worst taste of keema before. That Laving, Mari, taj and all were literally catching in my mouth in every Nivala. It was so Untasty that Keema of Mumbai of Rs. 20 was tastier than this 200 Rs. Keema. I hope they will not compromise items they are known for in future. Attaching photos and videos for your reference.

Must try it's Keema curry the taste and Rogan would take you to heaven,Butter Chicken curry is a must try boneless and yummy. Maskabun is made from traditional homemade fluffy white butter and along with tea makes a best combo, Please go on two wheeler or Uber as parking is a huge problem. Pocket friendly and can visit with family too.

This place offers great ambience, good food. Especially this place is for non-veg lovers. I went here just for Maskabun and Irani Tea which was very delicious in taste. The interior is made exactly like an Irani Cafe's. (Ratings: 10/10 for Maskabun and Irani Tea) 👍🏻😋

In a place where non veg food is hard to find New Irani Restaurant is a life saver. I tried mutton bhuna and Roti. It was lil spicy but delicious. The ambience looks neat and tidy. Pricing is value for money.

Irani restaurant has a good vibe. I went there specially to have their Maska bun and Tea, and they didn't disappoint me with the taste. Totally recommended for morning breakfast and evening tea.

Two star only for the structure looking at which I decided to try because other in this locality lack basic hygiene and I am not surprised . Since I wanted to have some thing for breakfast I decided for mix veg fry I am done with all this hype irani bun maska which has dissapeared decades ago because those iranians too have dissapeared. Well it was below average , the service is too bad the waiters dont have manners. This people have done good eye-catching make over hope they had used same common sense in cleanliness, service, food and pricing. Over all never again.

----Food---- The food is really good. The Bun muska is a must try with tea. The sulaimani tea is also great. The mutton keema is also good. They suprisingly have basic veg options as well ----Service ---- Most of the staff is very helpful and friendly ----Atmosphere---- The place is newly renovated and beautiful to sit in. Even the interiors are good. But the outside is super duper noisy. Constant honks and noise.

Very conveniently located next to the road, but parking is not offered because the roads are narrow. The non-vegetarian food is excellent and Bun Mask was the star; they use healthy white butter for bun mask. Quick service; positive ambiance Note: There is no option for online payment at this location; only cash is accepted.

Being from Mumbai, I missed irani food. But this place has it all. The very needed chai and Muska bun was refreshing. I also recommend paya and mutton kheema. The staff was very polite and was always there when I needed them. Also they do not take online payments or card, so make sure you carry cash.

Although it was regular muska bun but it had a great combination with their tea, aka "Irani Chai." The only good thing was the tea itself. However, their maska buns were not that great. I had similar and better ones at some other places. Their interiors were great, and the ambience was decent. Pricing was too aggressive, in my opinion, for this type of breakfast.

No upi payment is available. The ambience is great. It's near meat shops so a little smell would come sometimes. The butter bread is a must try with their strong tea. The rates are reasonable.

I have been visiting this place since years now. Whenever I am on city I have to have their teaand sometimes Maska-bun. Both of them are paisa vasool. Now they have started Nutella Bun. . it's a bit pricey but a good taste especially for kids.. everyone should atleast visit once here.

The restaurant is famous for most of the items they serve on the menu. It's located in an old part of the ahemdabad city near lal darwaja and manek chowk. The lal darwaja market is just alongside it so there's a lot of rush in the area. I tried egg keema and omelet and liked it. I have also tried their maska bun which is good and also they make it in their own traditional irani way and served along with tea makes it a perfect brunch. A lot of customers come here just to have tea and a maska bun. It's worth a try. The only problem is that the nearby area is not very clean and pleasant to be in but trying new food makes it worth.

It's the oldest restaurant and their speciality is Muska-bun. The maska is finger licking good and a must try item. They have renovated the place so beautifully to give a chic look and have increased the seating space as well.

A place to experience the bestest muska bun and tea. The white maska kept inside the bun is very homely and fresh. Their Nutella maska bun is also very tasty. The place serves amazing non veg food which is like a treat for them.

It’s a great small restaurant near our hotel. We didn’t know what to order, so we asked a costumer and he kindly told us about his meal. Workers are friendly. Expect to be stared at if you are women. But the food was delicious! We ordered egg burji, dal fry, tea and the maskabun.

Best Bun maska I had in Ahmedabad. Very tasty Egg kheema and paya. Located in crowded area near teen darwaza in the middle of bustling market. They accept only cash... No online payment.

  • 3/5 Husain M. 3 months ago on Google • 23 reviews New
We tried their irani chai and bun maska, chicken masala, mutton nalli rosh and chicken rice. The chai does not have the typical irani tea flavour, their white butter(maska) is an acquired taste. Mutton nalli rosh is okay. Things I liked the most were the chicken masala and chicken rice.

The place is situated in one of the old streets of Ahmedabad. Easy access through ola/uber. A place for non-veg lovers for dishes like mutton korma, curry, kima & etc . A great place as well for Bun Maskaa with a cup of chai.

  • 5/5 Dharamesh C. 6 months ago on Google
I visit it in morning in this time its quite busy and crowded. I ordered a irani tea and egg khima and egg bhurji every single dish is very delicious specially kheema . Service is average and staff are so polite and knowledgeable. Tnere is no parking space for car and bike you can adjust wheelchair you can access available. Vegetarian dishes are also there ao your vegetarian friends and family can dine with you.

  • 3/5 Midhun R. 2 years ago on Google
The restaurant was crowded even during the late night, however it was clean and the ambience was good. The dish I ordered was delicious but bit salty. However, buns seems to be the most demanding food there, as people around me were having it with tea or coffee.

  • 3/5 Angadbir S. 2 years ago on Google
The place is quite chic given the market it exists in. Had chapati and daal gosht. The chapatis were soft and homestyle and while daal ghost was eclectic in taste, it had less of meat and more bones. The suliemani tea was a tad too sweet too and lemon was hard to find. The milk tea with maska bun of course is good.

Located in streets of Lal Darwaja..Great place to have snacks and meal. Mushka bun & Tea combo is a must try. Yet with limited menu options, food is great and also the quality & hygiene.

Heard the name Irani Cafe so many times, today i Visited the place. I must say none of them wearing mask, very Unhygienic place. You can see the cook wearing dirty and dressed up half clothes. The tea Is like regular tea only, nothing much special about it. They should maintain the dignity of Name. As this very old place.

Their maska that is butter is out of the world must eat maskabun We also tried bhuna which was quite satisfying At the end its quite amazing to have this delicious food at this price point

  • 4/5 Ketul M. 1 year ago on Google
I would say the best café to eat Maska Bun in Ahmedabad. It has the authenticity and the legacy maintained, and hence the prices would seem a bit too much, but I would say they're worth it, atleast one time you must visit it. One thing to note here is there is no much parking space and they don't accept PayTM/GooglePay below ₹200, so taking cash would be a good option. I had Maska Bun and Tea over here, Maska Bun was totally worth it, Tea I would say is overpriced, but quick service as it is their speciality 💯
