I
booked
this
hotel
looking
at
the
old
brand
name
of
Ahmedabad
but
it
prooves
the
famous
Hindi
Saying
"ऊँची
दुकान
फीके
पकवान"
.
The
journey
of
my
struggle
with
this
hotel
started
right
from
my
entrance
to
the
hotel.
I
would
try
to
sum
it
up
through
following
issues:
1.)
I
reached
at
hotel
before
the
checkin
time
(12:00
PM)
and
requested
the
reception
to
provide
the
room,
of
available.
Initially
they
denied
for
it.
However,
she
already
done
the
checkin
formality
including
collecting
my
ID
card
over
hotel's
whatsapp
account.
After
an
hour
or
so,
the
receptionist
offered
me
a
room
with
additional
amount
(saying
that
its
early
checkin
price).
For
which
I
denied
and
decided
to
wait
till
12:00
PM.
Since
it
was
a
business
trip
I
requested
the
receptionist
to
provide
the
room
soon
at
12:00
PM,
so
that
I
can
be
on
time
for
my
scheduled
meeting
in
Ahmedabad.
However,
even
after
back
to
back
follow
ups,
the
receptionist
regret
for
unavailability
of
any
room
till
12:30
PM.
After
12:30
PM
when
I
raised
this
disappointing
thing,
a
room
has
been
provided
to
me.
2.
After
reaching
at
hotel
room
(Room
No.
209),
I
saw
broken
tap
in
the
washroom,
wet
walls
near
the
bad,
insects
in
the
room.
It
was
the
situation
post
cleaning
by
the
housekeeping
staff.
3.
One
of
my
colleague
(boy)
wanted
to
stay
with
me
due
to
an
urgent
meeting
in
the
early
morning
(next
day).
So
he
contacted
the
hotel
and
asked
for
the
formalities
and
additional
fare.
The
hotel
staff
confirmed
the
lump
sum
amount
of
INR
500+
taxes
to
checkin
in
the
same
room
with
me.
However,
after
reaching
at
the
hotel,
they
mentioned
that
he
will
have
to
pay
1500
+
taxes.
While
he
mentioned
his
previous
discussion
with
staff,
they
did
bargaining
and
finalized
the
amount
of
INR
1000
+
taxes.
My
colleague
then
decided
to
pay
INR
1000
+
taxes
without
doing
argument.
He
also
raised
the
disappointment
to
the
receptionist.
4.
At
night,
we
ordered
the
food
from
zomato.
While
the
zomato
delivery
boy
reached
at
the
hotel
,
the
receptionist
called
in
our
room
and
said
that
outside
food
is
not
allowed.
She
said
that
while
taking
the
ID
card
details
on
whatsapp
this
thing
may
have
confirmed
to
us.
While
I
shown
the
whatsapp
to
receptionist
and
said
that
there
is
not
a
single
message
received
from
the
hotel,
she
regretted
and
allowed
the
food
to
the
room
after
10-15
minutes.
5.
In
the
next
morning,
we
went
to
the
hotel's
restaurant
to
have
the
breakfast
(buffet
breakfast
was
included
in
the
hotel
booking).
While
looking
at
the
kept
food,
we
clearly
saw
the
insects
moving
around
sandwiches,
table
spoons
and
tongs,
Also
the
mosquitos
round.
I
called
the
serving
boy
and
shown
the
same.
After
which
the
services
boy
just
picked
the
sandwiches
and
went
towards
the
kitchen.
The
table
spoons
and
tongs
were
there
only.
Many
other
guests
used
those
utensils
to
take
the
food.
While
leaving
the
hotel,
I
again
shared
my
entire
feedback
with
the
receptionist
and
requested
to
look
into
these
serious
issues.
For
which,
she
requested
to
provide
the
feedback
in
written.
I
hope
the
hotel
administration
and
the
management
will
look
into
the
issues
for
the
benefit
of
upcoming
guests,
prospect
travelers
and
even
for
continuation
of
the
hotel
operations.
