One of the most fun places to eat good local food. I know the chain is from Mumbai the food served is amazing. I would definitely recommend you to go there and try as much as you like the portions are medium and the service is fast. The shrikhand is outstanding and the food have authentic flavours.

Swati is a casual dining restaurant offering a wide selection of eclectic vegetarian fare in a modern and elegant setting. The distinctive and innovative regional cuisine, based on traditional recipes from Indian homes and mouthwatering flavours of street foods, is cooked home style with fresh ingredients and served in a simple and hygienic manner. Started over 50 years ago, Swati continues to delight its loyal customers as well as those on their first visit. Do try: Dat Baati Dhan Shak Bhat Panki Chatni Handvo Bedai Roti-Shak-Shrikhand Sev Puri Lemon Grass Ice Cream

Unless you visit swati snacks you will not know why it is so popular. We went to this place on evening of 17 Dec 2022. Its a casual dining restaurant with simple or one can say minimal decor. At around seven pm there was some waiting period (around 15 minutes). However સ્ટાફ was prompt to call us once seats were available. On reaching the table it was clean and no traces of spills of previous customer could be seen. We were served by Soham bhai who was very polite and courteous. We tried dhan-shak bhat, methi bajri roti, handvo, undhiyu bajri rotla and pizza Margherita. All traditional dishes were delicious and did stimulate our taste buds. Quantity of each item is sufficient for one person with average diet. Looking forward to visit again to try other dishes.

Perfect patra , thankfully not laden with sauce or sweet! Coconut punch was a refreshing surprise! Dabeli light and tasty and the Panki chutney was really good too. Only drawback - Undiyu - taste and portion size couldve been better.

Swati has for the few years become a mandatory thing for those visiting Ahmedabad . They serve traditional gujarti cuisine along with regular South Indian and chat from other indian region . Panki , sabudana khichadi , thalipith, dhokla , patra , handvo, baked masala khichadi are their signature dishes . Simple and neat place . #purevegetarian #jainfood available . Do not miss the ice gola kiosk at the entrance.

Taste is just ok. Nothing extra ordinary except price. Every item is super expensive like 5 Star restaurant. For example, 220 /- sugarcane juice, 257/- Panki (only name is exciting, it’s basically 3 thin layer of Dhokala wrapped in Banana leaf. 125/- Single vada pav I was aware about their overpriced menu but I was hoping that food might be delicious. But I found nothing exciting except price. We were two person and we only order a light snacks and it costs us around 1050/- !!!

There’s usually a wait here on Sundays. The place is very hygienic and clean with good staff and service. The food is average and nothing special. Sugarcane juice and Rava Dosa were really good. The Bhel and Pani Puri were not tasty and the Shambar was not good. Overall the ambience and service was great but the food needs work. I will not eat here again 😞.

As the name suggests, the restaurant offer snack items. The menu was limited we didnt like anything much on the menu so we ordered something safe, a burger which was okayish. The restaurant was full when we visited so the service was quite slow. The restaurant from inside has no decor as such, just tables and chairs.

We had an amazing lunch experience here. Menu is short but very thoughtfully created. One / two signature dish from each local Indian state cuisine. Wonderful. We ordered 1)Dahi Misal - mesmerising quality and taste. Full of sprouts. 2)Thalipeeth - Aunthentic maharashtrian taste with the besan gravy personally loved it 3)Bedai roti with shrikhand & aloo subzi - majorly on heavier side . Not much enjoyable than the other two..but overall it was just perfect.

Amazing Gujarati snacks food items. They are usually busy and the wait time is anywhere between 20 to 40 minutes. The prices are a bit high but the food was too yummy for me being non-gujarati. The daal dhokli and panki chutney were highlighting and not to forget guava ice cream.

Being my 1st time to this place and learned out many videos and website , we were confident everything should be good, but to our taste buds it was beyond what we could think . Loved every dish we ordered and every single day while we passed by , crowd was packed to the brim with a waiting time of upto 20 mins - all on weekdays! Kudos to the team , hygiene and last of taste which was 👌🏻

At 430pm the queue outside on a Monday working day was 15min long. At 2pm the queue was for 40min. So it’s a very popular place which means congested cramped super fast service and you can’t eat in peace as there is constant peer pressure to finish fast. The dishes are amazing taste wise. Place is bit pricy. Dishes are unique too. I asked the queue manager to suggest me best 4 dishes and he sent all to our table within 2min of seating! So I don’t know the names but they tasted good.

What a superb experience at Swati! The food taste and the service is top class- fast, efficient, clean, tasty and the staff is super well trained and kind. Love coming here and if you are in Ahmedabad you have to visit Swati!

  • 4/5 Yuvraj M. 4 months ago on Google • 244 reviews
This branch of Swati always stays busy, Seating is bit congested too. You’ll have to wait minimum 15/20 minutes to get your turn to seat. As it’s Swati hygiene is maintained properly, food is delicious & always fresh, feels like you are eating at home only. Staff is super friendly & polite. Parking your car at this branch is biggest nightmare.

  • 5/5 Jitendra V. 10 months ago on Google
This is Swati’s (A Mumbai based chain restaurant) first Ahmedabad restaurant which serves variety of traditional dishes (Mostly Marathi & Gujarati) with an authentic flavour and a few street foods also with a distinctive taste. One good thing about restaurant is having a transparent kitchen and in parallel you can have a view of lively street in front. You can term it as little bit expensive as compare to the portions of each dish served but your complaint vanishes as soon you taste the dish. The ambience was good, staff was polite providing fast service and cleanliness was superb. Opening hours (daily): Dine-in: 12:00 Noon to 10:45pm. What I personally recommend to try: Thalipith - Pitla Panki chatni Dhan shak bhat Chola Methi Dhokla - Kadhi

This place is a must visit when in Ahmedabad! Their menu has many traditional gujarati items as well as regular chaat and dosa items. We loved the ponk bhel which is a seasonal speciality served in the winter months. Overall all food items are very tasty and feel clean and well cooked. We have visited this place multiple times and always loved it!

Nestled amidst the vibrant streets of Ahmedabad, Swati Snacks beckons food enthusiasts with its tantalizing array of traditional Gujarati delicacies. As an avid explorer of regional cuisine, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Swati Snacks, and it proved to be a gastronomic delight.

The location of this restaurant is very good. One can shop at the law garden & stop here for a quick snack. The menu offers Gujarati snacks, but it is slightly adjusted to satisfy the non-Gujarati visitors. Also the restaurant is quite costly. The parking is a bit of an issue as there is no reserved parking space for the restaurant.

During our stay in Ahemdabad, this is the place that we constantly went to. Their food is so good, that it made me, a guy who doesn't like vegetables, eat the whole bowl without protest. Great hygiene, great staff and lip smacking food. My special favourite was the malpua. No spoilers, but it is a heavenly experience and will be very different from your expectations. Swati snacks is a gem in Ahmedabad for vegetarians.

  • 5/5 Kapil S. 3 months ago on Google • 53 reviews New
This place was recommended to us on our trip to Ahmedabad as a good place for enjoying local street food. We landed up getting here thrice during our 2.5 days stay. They serve very authentic, tasty and hygenic food. The prices are on a bit higher side but we found it to be worth! Their Panki Chatni, Satpadi Roti & Baked Masala Khichadi is to die for! Go there for street food & not for the ambience. The later is not bad but it's not close to fine dining.

A simple yet elegant restaurant with great choice of Gujarati ethnic cuisine. Absolutely yummy taste of all the six items I tasted. Good service and perfect following of COVID 19 rules. Wonderful experience to say the least.

Located in the popular Law Garden, recognized by many travel and food platforms, Swati Snacks claims to offer Authentic Gujarati Snacks and main course. Unfortunately, the taste of most dishes is not authentic Gujarati but seems more to be an attempt to offer what people think is Gujarati taste. It is good for trying out once for yourself and see what's all the accolades for but keep low expectations and you might find something that won't disappoint. For me it was Panki Chatni. The staff is courteous and helpful.

Swati Snacks has good taste, especially Gujarati food. Menu is limited but worth trying. Seating space is limited, so during peak hours one might have to wait a little outside. Parking is available. Service is swift. Panki was yummy. Satpadi Roti and Besan Gatta Saag was decent. The only thing that bothered me was the price for 1 glass sugarcane juice which was Rs.160, which is simply insane. Rest was decently priced according to taste. Cleanliness is also well maintained.

We are from Mumbai and evertime we travel by road and have to by pass ahmedabad, we make sure that we stop over at Swati Snacks for our meals. This time was no different. We stopped over here for our dinner on our way back from Jaisalmer on the night of 1st Jan, 2022. The food here is authentic and awesome. This time we ordered their panki chutney, hadwo and masala roti with batata shak and shrikhand. We polished off everything. Everything is portioned correctly, neither too less, nor excessive and there is no wastage. We also love their lemon grass icecream and missed tasting that this time due to very cold weather.

Went there with lot of hope to try gujarati food. Tried 4_5 dishes , all were different and served hot with genuine ingrdients. They have other state dishes also. Try sitaphal icecream, or dhokla or sabudana all are good to try without disaapoinment. Happ to see suck vegeterian places. Though a little expensive but food is all worthy. Service is very good in 2 times i visited. Always crowded.

Had a great time here. Loved their delicacies. Do try the 1. Signature Panki Chatni. 2. Other hits were Bedai Roti - Shak - Shirkhand and Chola Methi Dhokla - Kadhi, Ragda Patties. The drinks were all a miss and does not justify the price. Overall the place is a bit overpriced though.

This was my 2nd visit to Swati Snacks. This place needs to recommendations given the quality of food the serve and for the polite staff they have. We had patni ki chatni, ragda patties and thalipith. All dishes were good in taste, not too spicy, not too bland. Place is clean and service is prompt. Only issue is place is little costly. 3 dish costed us 722 rupees for 2 people.
