Good Food and service with decent ambience. Chicken tikka was on the spicy side nicely cooked tender. I also had papdi chat but it was quite basic nth new about it.

Food : We ordered Mirch Masala murgh makhani along with Missi roti, Laccha parantha, butter Naan and Nutter Kulcha. We also ordered Mango Lassi, Lemon soda and a Khas khas drink. The Murgh makhani tasted good. It was a bit spicy but that only appealed to us more. The quantity was a lot. The breads were a dissapointment. The butter naan ans the Missi roti were decent rest the laccha parantha was raw and not flaky and the kulcha was made more like a naan. The mango lassi tasted like it had some artificial flavours. The khas khas drink and the lemon soda were decent. Ambience: Quite nice. They serve the food in traditional metalic cutlery and the restaurant has a nice bollywood theme to it. Price: I would say this is an expensive place and not worth the price.

Really cool restaurant for non-veg lovers of Ahmedabad. The interior decor is unique with old Bollywood nostalgia. The staff are very polite and provide quick and prompt service. The food is really great and comes highly recommended. I would personally suggest any one looking for good non-veg food in Ahmedabad to go there.

Asked for veg biryani got some thing which even don't resemble with biryani. And that is very expensive. If you don't know how to make biryani. Just remove it from your menu. Why are you making fool of the people.

Impressed with the taste of food. The authentic food of North india / punjabi. Ambiance, service, options for vegetarian and non vegetarians are also good. Price is little bit higher in range but in comparison it is highly recommend.

The FOOD is really DELICIOUS here. One can visit here with family and/or friends. They have everyday specials too. The ambiance of restaurant is pure FILMY . Also one should try their ALOO CHAAT . It's different and yummy. The staff member who took order and gave us the bill was appropriate but the staff member who was serving food, didn't serve food properly .

Mightily impressed with this hidden gem In one of the basement of CG road. The food is authentic North Indian/Punjabi food. Ambience, service, vegetarian and non vegetarian options were also amazing and it was an overall absolute delight !! Highly recommended- shikari chicken, daal makhani and tawa masala. Price is on higher side but I think it’s worth it, as the place is very very compact so it gets a bit crazy out here but still a good family place to visit. Kudos !

Too expensive for the taste they provide. Not at all recommended....one time visit only. Just like their Td. SIKARI Murg. We tried their biriyani also...but not good at all. Don't try biriyani in this place. At this price point....u can have lunch/Dinner at a good 5 ⭐ restaurant with better taste. They charged 73 rupees for 20 rupees Thums up......which is totally unacceptable.

Went on Saturday evening for Dinner, the place has a great ambiance, it's retro Bollywood theme is a dessert for eyes. Talking about the behaviour of the staff, they are polite and helpful and even suggested to us their best picks out of the menu. However the food was a major disheartening factor. We ordered their best Tawa bhuna chicken and the quantity and taste was far from any comparison with the price. Every dish is on the higher side as compared to the other restaurants. One can visit to enjoy the decor, ideal for once a time visits.

The meals are great. I tried their amrithsar paneer, which is excellent, and they also had non-vegetarian food, which they both deemed to be acceptable but a bit pricey. The ambiance is excellent there.

Love the traditional indian decor and cutlery. It really adds to the appeal of the place. The food was absolutely delicious. The Kesar Jalebi are a must have to finish off your meal. I am not a big fan of jalebis personally but I still went back for a second one after tasting theirs. My mother in law took another serving of jalebi to take home. The only downside was that it was a little overpriced hence the 4 stars. Would come again.

Food delicious, portion size also adequate. Service staff were slightly bored and lethargic. Overall very satisfactory experience. Parking is a big issue so try to avoid rush hours. But definitely worth a visit.

Went to this place after ages still same but I doubted the food as the starter that we order didn't had fresh pieces of chicken. Been to other branch at SG highway and that has better taste. Service was good though.

Though it says open till 3pm..we reached 2.30, guy at the entrance was not ready to 1st let us in..when forced a little he grumpily said yes. But asked us to order in one shot. Food was stale. Everyone's stomach is now upset.

Average food and expensive prices. The only thing I liked about this place is Mutton Roganjosh and Chicken Makhni. Reshmi kebabs were so try and bland. Veg options are okeish. Beverages like masala jeera and mojito were over sweet n flat.

I am new in ahmedabad...In Ahmedabad you need to search for good non veg restaurent. Yesterday only I visited this place, looks great..not a big restaurent but the dhaba style ambience was good. I didn't tried much as I was alone but the tandoori chicken was great and the Biryani was different but great in quantity and tasted well..overall I liked it.

I went recently to Mirch Masala after a long time. I felt nostalgic, as it was the same as earlier experience before many years. Good place to catch up with old friends and colleagues, in the middle of the city.

If you are a non vegetarian and in Ahmedabad Mirch Masala is one the best options..They have quite a few branches across the city as well. Vegetarians have a lot of options in Ahmedabad but non vegetarian options are limited. Try Mitch Masala.. Won't regret it

From a travellers perspective, this is dingy. Good food no doubt, but it's not a recommendation to dine in. This is in a basement without an elevator and the toilet is single, tiny & smelly. Other than that, good friendly people, good menu spread & fast service. 1 good thing to worry about, the quantity is huge. We ordered chicken chilly masala, more than enough for 2. Order accordingly.

Staffs are very polite and respectful. I had Mushroom in starter ....#smokeySmell ....wow.......I really loved it, the utensils are very exciting things. All the best..... Keep it up guys...

Best Non-veg. restaurant in Ahmedabad. The pahadi murgh was delicious and yummy. Also the service was very good. Also the Veg. items are good. Must visit

  • 4/5 Nirav P. 2 years ago on Google
Mirchi Masala offers the best fafda-jalebi during the festival of Dusshera. The quality and quality both are very good along with chutney and toppings. The ambience and decor of the restaurant is very unique. The location of Mirch masala is very good on popular CG road and their overall food is very nice. The only negative about this place is its pricing which is on the higher side. Due to its pricing its regular customers are now turning to occasional customers.

Never to trust or try any so called North Indian restaurant in Gujarat. These restaurants and food are for the people who don't know the fine difference between the varied regional cuisine and flavour. Highly disappointed. Highly dissatisfied with the kind of food served in the name of North Indian dishes.
