Mekeba bhat branch is one of best branch. It's far away but worth the experience. The food quality and presentation is really good. Because it's on the top floor the ambience is so aesthetic. The staff is better than other makeba brach. Because we are taking photos of the food The chef made special perentation on plate.

Best rooftop restraunt We went on my husband birthday to have dinner here.. Ambience was lively and breezy.. Service was perfect.. Food was delicious in taste and in limited quantity. We ordered 👇🏻 Drink- Paan Mojito Starter-Manchow soup. -Jamaican jerk chicken skewers. Main course-Chicken rajputana -Butter Naan Desert- Makeba sundae.

If you are looking for beautiful open cafe with good food then Makeba is the place. It is definitely one of the best cafes in the city. Decor and ambience is lovely and atmosphere is so lively in here. All the dishes are delectable and their presentation gets the brownie points. Staff is courteous and service is quick. This place is usually very busy and on weekends, reservation is a must.

Good food, good location and good ambiance. I tried many dishes and every dish was very well prepared. Liked their mocktails as well, and even Nutella Cappuccino. Price is bit on a higher side and it has more to do with location than the food itself. Servings are regular. Service is not so efficient with staff failing to response to your question. Place gives a decent view of Ahmedabad, but not that attractive.

The place has great Ambience. That is where it starts and where it ends. The food was not exceptional. it felt like a one time experience. I tried: 1. Aglio o Lio Spaghetti Pasta 2. Alfredo Penne Pasta 3. Veg Tandoori Tantra Pizza 4. Pizza Peri Peri Fries Tha Pastas felt nice with a tinge of sauce. I would say the pizzas were something different but not very delicious as such. Overall, it was nice.

Great ambience. Best part is that it is a rooftop cafe as those are my favourite. Food was always recommended by so many people and yet no amount of words could describe how good the food was. This was the first time I visited but I am definitely visiting every month with my friends. Italian is too good. Pasta dishes and pizza. Another dish I would suggest is Punjabi. I was suggested Italian food by many but surprisingly Punjabi food was also so so so good. The food, music, ambience and the service, everything was excellent!

If you need a cafe with perfect open air ambience along with great food then Makeba is the option. Surely perfect picturesque place, absolutely Instagramable. Talking about the food we have tried, then their fries pizza and barbeque chicken are good to go, you can have some amazing mocktails too. So the food experience was great as well as the ambience🤩

The ambiance is really beautiful and you will like it especially if weather is pleasant. It is on the terrace of an 8 floor building and it is completely open. No covered places, so if it rains you'll be in a mess. Food can be the polarising thing as veg food was really good, but non-veg wasn't upto the mark. Pros - Cheese Balls in Munchurian Gravy was tasty. Veg Creamy Alfredo Pasta was also yummy. Classic Cold Coffee was superb and a must have. Service was swift and staff polite. One of our Non-veg dish seemed a little stale, so they replaced it on our complaint. Makebas Non-veg Dum Biryani was good. Banarasi Dum Paneer was also tasty. Cons - Chicken in our non-veg dishes seemed stale. It was the deep freezed chicken, who knows how old. It wasn't the fresh one. Hence Lord of the Wings and Grilled Chicken Steak didn't taste well. Hot Garlic Sesame Chicken was good though. Cranberry Lemonade, Green Apple Lemonade, Peach Lemonade, Melon Lemonade all were tried, not worth trying, skip them. Makeba Sundae Ice-cream was also just ok, not so tasty. Parking is available in the basement. Do reserve before going or you might have to wait. If you are going for Veg food, it is definitely recommend. Non-veg may be a dice roll. Prices are slightly on the higher side. A must visit for the view, if you get the corner seat by the wall.

Well this place is quite overrated. Food was below average. We order “lord of the wings” from appetiser and were told that it would consist of 8 pieces, but received extremely small quantity and that too only 6 pieces. We asked why only 6, they said if we make small we’ll provide 8. Like seriously, lame reason. Only the atmosphere is good nothing else!

In my life, this is the best place I have ever visited. Because everything is amazing. Food is delicious with great quantity. Service is also fast. The best thing as it is rooftop, you will enjoy evening view with silent background music. There is live Projector as well where you can watch IPL. Once you sit down, I bet you wouldn't like to go home.

Nice place in good location. Well maintained with good view and option for open seating. Menu selection is good with different cousins. Service is good. Only issue is with elevators. Very popular amongst youngsters. In the evening parking is available and there was no waiting for space inside the restaurant. We were offered good seats.

Had a really bad time at Makeba the lounge cafe! The Lemon grass broth with Dumpling soup with dumplings tasted really bad. It didn't taste natural at all, and it seemed like they don't know how to cook healthy food. Their healthy menu isn't healthy at all. They put too much oil in everything, even the salads! Don't waste your money or your taste buds here. Better to avoid this place altogether.

We went there after booking on eazydinner , we saw our booking is confirmed but still when we arrived there, the manager said , we have not received your booking neither we confirm and after few minutes of questioning him , he said k we have booking in your name. After getting table we ordered two three dishes which was one of mocktail, French fries , soup and pasta. The service and was the worst part of this restaurant. After 30 mins we got our first dish whocb was soup (Manchow soup) , which was full of boiled vegetables and water with no taste, then again after 15 - 20 minutes we got our French fries which was very delicious , but again we received our third item which was pesto pasta , which was cold and again of no taste and no exotic vegetables for which we have already told ( exotic vegetables) . We sent pasta back and told him to serve again , the fantastic part is here, he served us the same pasta which he served us before and there was no ravioli in it as he served us before two piece of raviololi ( which sent back to the kitchen ) . And again the bread witblh pasta was also not cooked , when we asked him why ? He replied the kitchen is running very busy and you were in hurry..... waaah what a reply man.The mocktail when we ordered , we told him to bring with fries which was yet served. There was plastic particles in pasta , and when we complained about the same again the answer was sir we are is today as it's Saturday. The service was very poor again the was the same too.

Really enjoyed the new years eve here. The ambience is superb. The staff is friendly and the food is awesome. Personally, malai soya chap is my favorite. There isn't anything like view if you look out of the terrace. But it's good for occasional outing with family and friends.

One of the best cafe I have visited in Ahmedabad. Ambience is peaceful and serene which is why people love to sit there for long hours. As it's located on a rooftop, one can always enjoy the view with open sky. Food is also great although quantity is not that much but as people always say quality over quantity. I recently visited Makeba and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially our server, Priyanka. The food was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the veg creamy alfredo pasta . The atmosphere on rooftop was inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food in a relaxed setting.
