Very very beautiful garden. Full of peace and nature. There are alot for clean benches for sitting. You can find fresh water for drinking and clean toilets, bathrooms also. For children this park is also good, many instruments of play are available here. Park entry is free of cost in two shifts. It closes on 12 pm and reopens on 2 pm. Maintenance of this park impressed me too much. Literally i appreciate it. Back of the park one may go to riverfront and atal foot over bridge.

Recently visited here and I must say that Tilak bagh is good one among other parks. I has to say that they've maintained it properly. -> Beautiful garden with a variety of plants and flowers. -> Children's play area -> Exercise area . -> Fountains and a Bandstand (but it may or may not in function) Overall, Lokmanya Tilak Garden is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, and there is something for everyone to enjoy

I visited this place to see the statue of Lokmanya Tilak erected by Mahatma Gandhi here in 1929. There was long struggle to get this done. The garden in its renovated version is quite beautiful. Originally it had Queen Victoria's statue too, which can be seen in Museum at Paldi.

Erstwhile Victoria garden near old Ellise bridge is situated on the corner of new Swami Vivekanand setu on old city side. After losing it's front lines to road development from time to time it has been reduced by at least 2&1/2 road lane of area. The out side of garden is a very busy place on Sundays due to weekly market. It has an heritage statue of Lokmanya Tilak who awkwned the Indians with Motto of "Freedom is our birth right" The latest development of small pond and re availability of water is a good news for all those old trees and greenery.

I thank Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and all agencies wholeheartedly for keeping this garden beautiful and clean. There are two MAJOR problems which should be slove by care takers. stray dogs that roam the garden, Which is a great danger for small children and I wonder why 12 yr old kid is not allowed to swing ? My daughter was deeply sad as she watched other kids swinging and security don’t allow her to swing. Make your laws such that under 14 year children can swing. Kindly make such arrangements that stray dogs do not enter the garden.
