Jamalpur darwaza is one of the oldest gates in ahmedabad and a gateway of three stone arches twenty-two feet broad and twenty-seven high and a roofed platform 32 X 27, pierced for one gun.

If you are here to visit here for any reason there's a suggestion; never take a big vehicle... I got here by my personal car and found no place to park and suffered for a little space for parking....!! Even though you have a personal car, you should come here by government transport facility or by auto-rickshaw or by Ola... But 2 wheeler is best...!!

It has a different aura as it's a junction connecting east-west ahmedabad and also connecting the road for Railway Station, airport and Main State transport bus depot situated nearby. Traffic can be observed the entire day due to all the above factors.

There are so many different shops and all the shopkeeper were very nice...... It is also a very religious place for many people...... People from different religions come together in the dargah....... This make more unity between different religions..... But be careful about your belongings in such crowded place..... I recommend to go on week days as it will have less people....... But I highly recommend to visit this place with your family, friends..... I went with my friends..... But if you are ina ahmedabad...
