Station is huge and have all the basic facilities needed. Also have good parking spaces for vehicles. and have plenty of transportation options available nearby. The only thing is reservation window is far away from ticket counter and reservation windows closes at 8:30 for those who reached late can't reserve a ticket for next train untill next morning.

First of all, it was better than my expectations for a typical railway junction. It was maintained quite well and kept neat as much as the can. It's quite a huge railway station as one would expect it to be as it's a junction. It has 12 Platforms and 12 Gates and Number of Food stalls, book stalls, tea stalls, and other stalls. It also has Toilet facility available at various places and it has huge Waiting area along with separate waiting area for reserved passengers and VIP passengers. It has escalator facilities at many places which is quite modern and remarkable thing. The bifurcation of the platforms is done perfectly and the sign board and texts are written everywhere for passenger's convenience. The outer side of junction has an all-bus stop wherein the AMTS, BRTS and GSRTC buses arrives at regular instance, One simply needs to get the ticket and wait for the respective bus there. It also has an enormous pathway for auto rickshaw drivers and taxi drivers where you can very easily get rickshaw for your destination. Also at the exit gate there are Coolies available to carry the luggage and other stuffs of the passenger and thus help them and earn a few bucks. The Station from inside is very informative in its own as all the details of all the existing and arriving train is provided on digital notice board which are at regular intervals, along with huge digital clock also available at regular intervals.

Ahmedabad Junction is a huge, well maintained railway station cum junction point. This state capital is well-connected by all the major cities. All the platforms are well-equipped with lifts & escalators. All kinds of waiting rooms & Lounge are on the First Platform. Cloak rim is also on the first platform's gate no.4 where you can keep your luggage on a reasonable charge of โ‚น15/bag for 24hours. There are multiple food carts on all the platforms and one of the things about these vendors is they are giving water bottles and all other packed foods on MRP, no cooling charges nonsense here.

Railway station is big and all trains traveling on this route halts here. Metro station is well connected with station. Even upcoming Bullet train will have a station here adjacent to railway station and metro station. Station remain crowded all the time because of heavy footfall. Renovation work was going on during my last visit. Station main entrance and place outside main entrance looks beautiful. Station is located in the centre of City and main bus stand Geeta mandir bus stand is just 5 mins drive away.

Great travel mode.Newly renovated now the junction looks good and there are escalators available at both the sides to climb up to the station to move from one platform to another. There is a lot of traffic near the station as it is connected to the main city.

Ahmedabad station is a very big railway station. There is always a crowd here. There is very little cleanliness here. I want that everything should be given to the private sector so that the cleanliness can be done properly and the speed of the trains can also be improved

I was recently at Ahmedabad railway station and found it exceptionally clean. As usual sights of passengers on setting on floor and taxi divers inside the station, but hygiene was the factor which makes it different than other stations.

Ahmedabad Junction is a major railway station in India, but it is not as large as some other capital city stations. One of the main drawbacks of the station is that trains are often late. In addition to the issue of trains being late, Ahmedabad Junction can also be quite crowded, especially during peak travel times. The station could benefit from being expanded and modernized to better accommodate the large number of passengers who use it. Despite its shortcomings, Ahmedabad Junction is an important transportation hub for the city of Ahmedabad and the surrounding region. The station offers a wide range of services to passengers, including food and beverage outlets, restrooms, and currency exchange counters. Overall, Ahmedabad Junction is a functional railway station that serves a large number of passengers. However, the station could be improved by being expanded and modernized.

Station is not that neat but ok. Platforms are overall are neat and cleaned time to time. Escalator and elevator facility is also there. No one is taking care of the Covid Protocals. There no check or no inspection on this and RTPCR check also asked. Things seems to be coming back to normal

I have visited the railway station after 2 years. It is good to see that the station has developed a lot. Would appreciate it if the passengers take part and be responsible for cleanliness. As it's not only railway people's responsibility.

Love the ambience. Its neat and tidy with ample space to take rest while waiting for train. Food quality could be better but still much satisfactory as compared to other railway stations I had visited before. Security guards are everywhere even at mid night. No doubt best railway station till now for me.

First thing first, Reaching this station can be a bit hectic specially during peak hours due to immence traffic. However, connectivity is great here, you can find Taxies, Rickshows, BRTS and soon Metro too. Parking here can be a problematic specially for cars bacause of narrow and very busy main road. However paid parking is available for Cars and bikes at the station. The Station is Huge with 10 Operational platforms. There are two elevators, one at entry and one at exit and couple of elevators at platforms too, so carrying laugage can be bit easy. Also, every platform has got lifts so Handicapped persons can also move in or out very easily. The Platform display, Coach and Train information display on individual platform and Passenger information system is vey helpfull in loacating platforms and coach position. Continuous announcement in various languages makes it very easy for everyone understand. Platforms are moderately cleaned, and banches are not enough for everyone and some of the fans are not working properly. Drinking water is available, and planty of stores are there for snaks and stuff on almost every platform. General Waiting room and A/C waiting are very small compare to passenger numbers, it's very hard to get place inside. specially in A/C. alternative of this can be IRCTC Launge at platform - 1 but, it is a bit costly i would say. There are saveral restaurents like Honest etc. are available on platform 1. There are ATMs of BOB, SBI and Kotak Mahindra Bank available at station.

Ahmedabad junction is major station which is crowded 24hrs Although they are trying to maintain cleanliness,it needs to be improved IRCTC lounge on platform numb 1 is a good option for long wait. Online booking is must to access this lounge They charges 500/- +taxes for 6 hrs Which is reasonable Bunker beds with ac and washroom facilities available Cleanliness and food quality of lounge needs serious improvement

Sister city of Capital of Gujarat, a state considered as the Main fort of BJP....but just come to this station you will see the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and Modi ji is getting destroyed. All the platforms are dirty, garbage is everywhere, a huge number of crowd is on station. Pollution at peak and nothing is clean. It is a Major railway station of Gujarat it should be maintained well.
