I am highly satisfied by services provided by Race Knee Clinic for knee surgery of my father (Both left & right knee) and my uncle (Right knee). We reached hospital on 13th early morning and both were operated on same morning. My uncle was discharged on 16th June and my father was discharged on 17th June. Due to high levels of hygiene, there is no infection in 9 inch long incisions (my father is diabetic) even after 10 days. Johnson & Johnson premium implants were used. Both patients were made to walk on same day by Dr Marothi and on third day both of them even climbed stairs as part of physiotherapy. My experience was much better than my expectations. ✨🧿 My name is Anushka and I am from Siliguri. Deciding for a complex surgery like KNEE REPLACEMENT is tough. After some research and people feedback from an acquaintance in Siliguri (our hometown) we got to know about Dr. Dhiraj Marothi. He told us it was just a 1 hour surgery and faced no complications later. He completely recovered one month later and faced no issues regarding pain or discomfort. So then we decided to go for it. We made an appointment and met Dr. Dhiraj Marothi in Kolkata. He told us there’s a new technique known as R2R technique. The key point of this technique is to resurface only the damaged compartment of your knee & place a cap over it which gives the complete movement of your knee again. So next we decided to get the surgery done in Epic Hospital under Dr. Dhiraj Marothi. On 26th of October my mother was admitted and on 27th of October 2023 the surgery was done. We stayed for more 8 days just to be safe and left on 3rd of November. She of course faced pain after the surgery but she practiced walking by the nurses since that day itself. We (my mother, me and my father) stayed eight days in the Hospital under there assistance. We booked a Cabin, where only one family member is allowed to stay 24/7 and my father booked a hotel nearby but often stayed in the Cabin with us and only went back to the hotel to sleep at night whereas I slept here, there’s a sofa provided for the patient’s family. Honestly our experience was quite good. The team here, the nurses to the ward boy/girl everybody is very friendly and co operative. They provided her meals thrice a day, and helped her walk and use the washroom whenever she required it. The rooms and the washrooms are cleaned thrice a day without fault. Dr. Dhiraj Marothi sir visited her every two days to see if she’s doing alright. Also her Physiotherapist and Dietician kept a check on her in regular basis. I would absolutely recommend to get your surgery done here in Epic Hospital in Ahmedabad to whoever is reading this review at this moment. It was a smooth experience. Ohh also there’s pickup and drop service available if you’re travelling though Train or Flight. ✨🧿
