My current visit to Mehfil Restaurant was after a gap of 18 years. I used to frequently eat there prior to that and then moved out of Ahmedabad. I got exactly the same experience even after such a long duration. The food is amazing tasty and the service is excellent. I didn't have anything to complain. The rates are quite reasonable. To be honest, i hadn't expected the same level of satisfaction after 18 years and I was a bit hesitant to go there initially. But I'm glad I did as nothing has changed over this period. Mehfil has remained a top restaurant in Vasana area with authentic Punjabi food options.

Mehfil is our go to place for Punjabi! Authentic taste!! Quality food and value for money. Even jain preparations are very delicious. Ambiance is basic but staff is very welcoming. Highly recommend try their: Dal makhani and Paneer bhurji Plus plus points: they serve half soup bowl, wheat tawa roti, portion size

Food was excellent Cheese Butter Masala, Veg Kadhai, Hariyali Naan, Butter Naan and Plain Chapati ordered for take away. Order was made ready in just 10 mins. The taste was as suggested by the ones who had been there earlier. Great taste...

We have been visiting this place from past more than 20 years and the taste has consistent, the ambience, the hospitality and the freshness of food is too good to be forgotten. I just love it.

A budget friendly punjabi restaurant, maintaining good hygiene and food quality is awesome. The best part is the roti is made outof wheat ratherthan maida. So, it's easy to digest. You must try cheese butter masala, it's finger licking delicious dish.

It's a 100% veg restaurant with Jain food. Service and nature play a very important role in the hospitality industry, Here the top level is lacking in the Dharnidhar branch.

My orders: Cheese Angoori (Kofta), Paneer Toofani, Hyderabadi Biryani and Cheese Naan. I have to be critical about the food (2 star) because there is severe imabalance in price-to-taste ratio. While ordering sabzi: 1 of our order was Cheese Angoori (which was supposed to be in Red gravy as mentioned in the Menu) and another was Paneer Toofani (which was supposed to be spicy). The reality: 1) Cheese Angoori did not have an ounce of cheese-like flavour. Instead it was just dry kofta balls floating in gravy. Also the menu mentions that this sabzi is supposed to be with red gravy. I don't think it was matching any shade of red. 2) Paneer Toofani was confirmed to be spicy and was recommended by the waitstaff but wasn't spicy at all. It was vertically cut paneer pieces in bland gravy. Even the basic condiments like salt were off the mark. 3) Hyderabadi Biryani was okay. I wouldn't say I loved it or hated it but it was right in the middle. Still ₹270 is way too much for what is being served. (Bonus: they are generous enough to compliment it with Raita alongside) 4) Cheese naan, this too was simple (I feel some basic restaurants serve way better than Mehfil's). Not something that would blow the minds away. Final verdict: The recommendations that we all receive regarding Mehfil might have be valid in the past but today they are way way way off track. P.s. This review may seem gravely critical but truth being told is always harsh.

I have visited 2-3 times and ordered different foods every time and very happy with taste, quality and cleaning. Sabji, Roti, Dal, Soup, Starter... Really Nice Place To Enjoy Food..

Can't deserve 1 star also it's my obligation that I had given 1 star either if there se 0 I will select 0 star Nothing is good staff were lack of passions food is also very bad the worst experience ever If you are planning for dinner with family it's my recommendation not to go "mehfil restaurant" there is total waste of money

One of the fantastic and consistent restaurant. Excellent food quality across many years. Very good staff as well. We go atleast 4-5 times in a year regularly since last 20 years. Must visit with family.

Quality & taste of dishes have gone down gradually but steadily. Previously available authentic Punjabi taste in this restaurant is now missing in every dish. Of all the dishes, Saag had an awful taste & quality seemed to be doubtful. Management should check on hygiene in preparation & ingredients. Only the assorted breads we ordered were good.

Poor customer service! Very bad service even from the owner himself . We have come down to india and here in Ahemdabad and it was my mums birthday. I politely asked if they had a candle for our small cake , they said we don’t keep and that was fine , then I asked if they could play a happy birthday song atleast…. I come from hospitality business and I know how things work. All restaurants around the world would ALWAYS BE HAPPY TO ATLEAST PLAY A BIRTHDAY SONG . So this guy maybe he’s the owner spoke to me in a very rude manner inspite of him knowing he’s talking to a woman. So he just said we don’t do all that other people gets disturbed. You go play the song in your phone . I dint understand this and asked him to repeat and he said, do you have a phone ??!! Okay it in that . Dam! So disappointed with the lack of customer service and support.

So the best part about the restaurant is their service. I loved their provided services. We personally ordered Chana Masala and Panner Lababdar. Overall the taste is satisfactory. The quantity though is good enough.

Mehfil Bou Mast place is also good to eat there but the owner is not good at all.

This place serves truly authentic north Indian food. I have tried dal makhni at a lot of places in Ahmedabad and they were hopeless! But mehfil has amazing dal makhni. I would recommend having dal makhni with butter kulcha here!

Can say worth to have dinner here. The real taste of panjabi sabji which perfectly cooked. We ordered paneer bhurji and as expected it was like wowwwww. The average cost for 2 person will be around 450-500 if order panjabi sabji n all. I definitely suggest to go their and to take taste of Panjab.

Visited this before few days They knowingly set people outside their resturant to let other see waiting people over there.. i was there inside 7 pm for dinner By Cheking out at 8 pm restaurant was like 50 % empty but still they made people waiting oustside.. Had an amazing Mili Jhuli Biryani Handi. One of the best combo of two types of Biryani. Also had a delicious Malai Kofta. I am a regular food lover of Mehfil. But I don't understand how someone posted that the food was not good. I don't believe it. Mehfil is known for its delicious mouth watering food and excellent services
