The Aquatic Gallery here features a variety of crystal clean tanks dedicated to aquatic species from around the world, even penguins, including a unique walkway tunnel, providing an unprecedented experience. Passing through the tunnel, you can enjoy incredible views of different species of fish and sharks. The ticket price for the general public is Rs 200 which you can also book online. There is a washroom and a drinking water facility. The aquarium is wheelchair accessible, and you can spend 2 to 3 hours here.

This review is about the whole Science City: We visited the place, easy to reach. We paid online and didn’t have problem with the tickets. Aquarium was pretty good with variety of fishes and was as expected. They maintained the place clean and tidy. Then we went to robotics section and found it average. The robots didn’t response as expected. Still wouldn’t call wastage of money. The problem started when we entered the main Science section which is inside a semi earth globe. The majority of the equipments were broken and even some of them were missing. The public was worst and kept pushing other people. We also saw some guys passing comments on females passing by. This part was not maintained well. It’s recommended to visit only if u are interested in aquarium and/or robotics

Amazing experience !! Kids are going to enjoy a lot. There are different transparent showcase tanks which contains various species of fishes all across the globe. The information kiosks in front of each fish tank make it more knowledgeful. It clearly describes about the fish species in the showcase and in which region of the globe it is found. There is a uniquely built shark tunnel. The gallery is managed and maintained very well. Entry fees of 200 rs per adult is applicable. There are no charges for the children below 3 years. Will recommend everyone to visit.

I was having quite high expectations with Science City but felt that other science cities are better than this as entry was not allowed and guards misguided that it's closed. Finally I booked tickets online and entered in the premises and my comments are as follow Pros: Ambient environment Neat and clean Less crowded Cons: Ticket charge for Robotic is quite high, you will pay Rs 250 to just see few Robots and even after that few services are chargeable. For watching fish in Aquatic world you have to pay RS 200 which I felt is very high. No proper sign board or no one was there for guidance. Most of equipments were not working Finally it felt like I have wasted around RS 1000 to visit this scrap (sorry to say that) Good for Kids but don't expect too much

Wow... Wonderful. Best place for kids. You will go through experience of journey in to the ocean. You will see thousands of sea creatures here. Very safe for kids, all over cooling, drinking water facilities, garden, cafeteria, seating for rest ... A complete package for 1 day picnic.

Today on date 20-Feb-21 i have visited Science city Ahmedabad as per latest information & visiting hours online, when we reached there, it was found closed then asked to security at main gate then they confirm that centre is closed. I am requesting to concerns to provide current status only online to avoid any difficulty to general public.

Must visit one of the best. Entry charge is Rs. 50 per person in science City. Aquarium charge is Rs. 200 per person. Best way to book is online before 1 day. Offline is available but need to stand in a queue. Ticket is valid for whole day. All transactions are done is Debit Card or Credit Card only, cannot pay cash. There are guide at aquarium they will explain if you have any questions related to fishes. Very co-operative. There are many things which are free of cost to see in Science City. Very good maintained, nice and clean.

Honestly, this place was a complete mess. It was opened in a hurry. NO COVID PROTOCOLS WERE BEING FOLLOWED 1. Aquarium is quite good and worth spending time, but rest, not worth it. Many attractions were still being set up, it's hard to find specific places in this maze. 2. Buy online tickets before going. It offers many stops like Science and space center but air conditioning was not working, and it was really hot inside. There was a presentation,but again very very very childish. 3. IMAX centre - Hardest place to spot. It had few movies on the go with timing. You've to buy tickets there only. (@₹150 per person) 4. Very few spots to eat food. They don't let you take any food inside. Very very annoying. 5. Robotics was meant to be good, but honestly it was okayish. Felt like it was more of an exhibition than a chance to interact with a robot. 6. Earth Energy centre. Didn't visit there. 7. Nature park in the centre. 8. Butterfly house - not opened. My Suggestion - it could've been much much better, if opened with all things working.

The only place worth visiting in science city for those who don't have kids. It's 200/- and to enter into the science city you have to pay 50/-. The arch aquarium is just wonderful. It is educational and informative. I just loved the experience. They even have penguins. Tickets are available online.

Marvelous spot to have a good time. It has different fish tanks inside with applicable data referenced with regards to that fish. Place is extremely spotless. Staff is likewise useful and respectful. It will require 2 hours to finish round of Aquatic Gallery. They likewise have cafeteria on second floor. But it is very costly. You will see all fish all over the planet and feel like you're in the sea.

The aquarium was very beautiful and well maintained.5 Penguins were the main attraction I guess as they were brought here recently. There are different varieties of fishes seen here and information about each and every fish is provided. Would add that one star if they bring the dolphins here 😄. Worth visiting. The ticket charges for normal people are 200/- per person. However if you're a group of students (minimum 10), then you have to take a form from entry gate, fill it up and you'll be allowed to visit at a charge of 50/- per person. The place is absolutely amazing. There are so many exciting things. Place is so clean. And very well management for the visitors. So many different types of fishes are there. And so many snacks Also lives in sea area. The most beautiful thing about the place is atmosphere of the place, school students must visit once with their group. So many knowledge will get the students. Fees Also so nominal for visitors and students concession Also there. Overall all the good things is there and make a memorable day out for family outing Also.

Couldn't cover the whole park just visited Aquatic gallery and Robot cafe. It's a great experience. You will love the fauna here. Almost 11600 creatures are here. And I am sure it will just get better with time. You will get to see baby Sharks hovering above your head in glass tunnel. That's a wonderful experience. Old and sensitive people can feel nauseatic to the smell of fish. My mother and grandmother couldn't tolerate it so had to wait outside. Unfortunately Robot. Are was closed till be reached so couldn't experience it. But took some pics. Will visit again when I am in Ahmedabad cause I have missed many things there.

This gallery provides an extraordinary experience that I can't recommend enough. Even if sea animals aren't your thing, it's still worth a visit. Trust me, you'll end up spending at least an hour here, captivated by the turtles, sharks, and penguins on display!

Just unbelievable. Such a wonderful collection of most of the types of fishes and also Penguins are there. They really maintain it well in terms of cleanliness. Tea Post within the premises of the Aquarium building is also good and provides wide variety of food and beverages. Count atleast 3 hours of time to visit it closely. Pricing is very reasonable. And now I believe after seeing it, it's probably biggest aquarium in India.

One of a kind experience in Gujarat! I don’t know there’s something about this place which will make you insanely happy, maybe the variety of creatures you will get to experience and the besst part would be the kid inside you! If you want to see penguins, go around afternoon, they are mostly sleepy in the evening. Overall, fun experience and witnessed so many amazing creatures here. You will find many picturesque spots here if you are a picture fanatic!

Its amazing and extremely economic.it has the world class level infrastructure at very very reasonable price. I strongly recommend to visit this place.best time to visit is on weekday mornings and prior booking of tickets online.

It’s fantastic experience. Too many types of live fishes with all information. Very clean and tidy place. Parking is available on charges. There are long walk after parking the car but there is MYNYK rental cycles available if required. It’s really good place to visit with children. Really amazing place.

The aquarium is definitely worth it. When we visited it was well maintained, clean and detailed. They have a variety of aquatic life in the aquarium. However the process of getting into the aquarium is extremely tedious. Their website for online payment doesn't work well it needs lot of fixes. The walk from parking to aquarium is super duper long and there's no mobile network in the basement area.

It was such a joy to visit this place. Fishes swimming all around you, the huge aquariums present here house so many different species of fishes. They also have a penguin enclosure. The dome is the best part, where you get to see sharks swimming all around you. It’s a fairly new construction and is a crowd puller! Ended up spending most of my time here when i visited science city, and no regrets! It’s an absolute delight! Must visit for kids and adults alike!

This new aquarium is world class. It has so many aquatic species including cute little penguins. You can see & capture them closely from crystal clear glass. It has giant aqua dome containing sharks and scuba divers for entertainment. You can take your camera inside without any worry. Great experience to visit at least once. Entry Ticket : 50rs. , Parking : Bike 20rs and car:40rs. Advice: 1. Take entry ticket and aquatic ticket only. 2. Avoid robotic gallery (waste of money and time) .. 90% of equipment are not working and explaination given by guide are useless. 3. Must visit Nature Park without extra cost. Show entry ticket only. Take plenty of water bottles with you no water inside and park in giant. Must walk through entire park and should not avoid Artificial snake shaped walk through. Its cool with spray water throughout.

One of the most beautiful gallery in Gujarat. One of the places you should definitely visit if you are in Gujarat and especially in Ahmedabad. If you have kids, you have to take them here. I had an absolutely amazing experience at the aquarium! It was hands down the best aquarium I have ever visited. The Aquatic Gallery was truly exceptional, with its stunningly clean tanks showcasing a diverse range of aquatic species from all corners of the world. What made it even more remarkable was the inclusion of penguins and a one-of-a-kind walkway tunnel that offered an unparalleled experience. As I strolled through the tunnel, I was treated to breathtaking views of various fish and sharks. It was a truly unforgettable sight!

1. Animal Welfare: Are the animals healthy and well-cared for? The fishes look well, healthy and cared for. 2. Conservation: Does the aquarium work on saving endangered species or habitats? I don't think so. 3. Visitor Experience: Is the place educational and enjoyable to visit? You're entirely on your own. If there are kids school kids around, it will be loud. The fishes have name plates- no guides though. 4. Ethics: Are animals and the environment treated respectfully? No reason to think otherwise - no signs of stress. 5. Accessibility: Is it easy to get to and affordable? Yes. 6. Safety: Are there plans and tools in place for emergencies? The usual, yes. 7. Fish variety: Asian, North and South American A couple of sharks (~3 ft) and big Tuna (~2 ft), starfish, eels, pufferfish etc. No octopus though. I presume the penguin is an attraction. They feed them around 5 pm.

This is one of the best Aquatic Gallery in India. You name a fish and they have it. Frankly speaking most of the varieties of fishes where there and it did give you a great experience seeing those fish swim by, truly an amazing experience. My kids thoroughly loved it and apart from that it did enhance their general knowledge as well, at least to know who many different varieties of fishes are there in the world.. at one time they got bored of reading about the fishes and its type etc.. A final note on the tickets and eateries. The ticket prices of the various attractions at Science City Ahmedabad are reasonable priced and cost somewhere around Rs.250/- per person for Aquatic Gallery and similar rate for the other attractions. In dollar terms it would be under $3 per attraction. Obviously the entry fees is costing much less somewhere around Rs.50 per person.There are also concession for school students trip. There is also a food court in there and it hygienic so you need not worry about carrying food. The food severed there is of good quality and there are a lot of options on food and beverages.. so not at all to worry about having food at Science City Definitely a must visit if next time you are visiting Ahmedabad; Gujarat... cheers... Just Amazing, must visit gallery for kids. Large variety of fishes from around the globe. Also the quick facts near each tank are very helpful to identify the fishes. It feels amazing while walking from tunnel with fishes moving around. Never saw this many fishes at one place.

Science City is the most famous place in Ahmedabad, which self explained by name. there are rides, science related toys, rides, space craft, Garden, educational program being organized there. Earth Globe is main Attraction there. every School and Colleges planned to visit this place. Very exciting place. One has to Visit this place once in a life.

I live in this locality and have gone to Science City three to four times! I love this place as it's full of greenery and the environment is so fresh. Everytime I visit science city, it's always an evening spent well. I will definitely recommend this place to chill out your evening. Yes some of the equipments here or there are out of service and lack of maintenance is quite visible but you'll not regret coming here! Do visit.

Science people should visit there Kids will definitely enjoy there..... Space shuttle ride dont forget that best part of science city....... The center hosts an IMAX 3D theatre, an energy park, a hall of science, Planet Earth, an amphitheatre, Life Science Park and dancing musical fountains among others.[1] The center also provides housing for students preparing for science exams. For last few years, a program called "Vacation Training Program on Bioresources for school children" is being organised by Science city with the help of government funds to encourage students regarding Bioresources. It is a month-long program for students who gave their SSC exams, each from every district of the state

After years, I revisited yesterday with h my Astronomy club members. Found Astronomy hall, so pathetic. Old plates and old data. I felt ashamed to show to new Astronomy lovers. Had to rectify multiple data to its correct values. Sharing only one of the data as Jupiter has 18 & Saturn has 16 satellites 🙏🏼 decades old data Show of Mia Fuski was low grade with 0 ventilation, no fan n no air circulation... Tired of heat and stuffing inside so, left from Astronomy Hall... Lack of drinking water station and No food made children, cranky... Best aspect of all was last visit to Aqua park. Class of its own with so many different species and World class finishing... Here too, though there were enough volunteers but, were busy in their own cellphones 🙏🏼🙏🏼 No interaction or interest in guiding or motivating visitors... Earth 🌎 globe was also very good but couldn't spend much time but will visit again for sure for more experiences 🙏🏼

One of the finest place in ahmedabad, with lots of attraction for whole family. The latest addition of aquatic world has more than 1100 species of 🐠 from arounf the world. And the robotic gallary has most advanced robots on display and u can see them in action. You will spend approx 1500 for family of three. Grt experience visit once atleast.

U have to wait in long queues for different places specially for aquatic. Robotics dept is very costly. However, u can rest and find peace in nature park which is very good and free of cost after entry.

I have enjoyed a lot at here. Science City have come up with new feature and it feels too god. Aquarium have water tunnel and other very big tanks and facilities for the fishes. It also have Sharks 🦈 in the tank and it the main attraction of the place. Other several beautiful species of salt water as well as sweet water fishes. At least once go and see. They have also planned for panguin Jellyfish so waiting for it eagerly.

This is an awesome place. There are different zones like American zone, European Zone, Oceans of the world zone and the fishes of those zones are there in different tanks. There is a touchscreen display as well in front of every tank on which one can see the information about the particular fish of that tank. There are different variety of fishes and aquatic animals. And at last you will end up in the Shark Tunnel which is a different experience altogether 😍. There is a cafeteria as well. Staff is supportive. The place is very well maintained, neat and clean.

A good weekend place Entry procedure is different Entry counter works slow, keep 20 min spare for it on holidays. When you enter they have car-bike park place inside their campus So after a parking you come to entry gate again to get tour entry passes and car park passes. They accept only card and UPI payment (Latest by September 2021) For all other exhibitions and sections you have to get separate tickets from their respected booking booths near by those sections (same UPI and card payments only) The place is nice for weekend and holidays (mostly packed on those days) Takes around 2 hours to visit each sections. Cafeteria and food available inside Suggested keep your drinking water and other essentials handy with you. A must visit place for all ages.

The unique attraction in the science city is must visit place for everyone to witness the aqua life around the world and even in Asian continent . The level of the detailed given in the aquarium is quite unique. Cleanliness and staff are well maintained and well trained respectively. Awesome place.. So many things are there,like thriller ride, underground aquarium, robotics, science center....etc Don't go empty stomach as only Amul parlor is there inside. Rest place is too good.

Science City Aquarium, Ahmedabad one of the good place to visit & spend time with family with watching numbers of fishes. Really good to visit once. If you have small children with you, you must visit this place once. It quite refreshing & informative to explore numbers of variety of fishes.

Great place to spend (possibly a full day) with family, specially kids interested in robotics. The robotics shows we're informative and enjoyable. The reservations and que management could be a improved. So, advance reservation is recommended k on website or app).

Science City Aquarium experience was amazing. It was built in the large place and have all the precautions and safety for all. Aquarium is cleaned and secure. There are many type of fish from around the world in the aquarium. It is very well managed and clean place. There are Shark fish to enjoy in the large tank.

It is a tourist visiting place, a one day picnic sort of place. Aquarium is a part of the Science City while the Science City has other attractions like Robotics, Nature Park, Spaceship ride etc. The Aquarium is a huge place and has numerous types of fishes over there. It also kids activity like 'make your wish' with colors. We saw penguins which was the main attraction of the Aquarium. The fees system goes like entry fees, parking charges compulsory and other charges depending on the rides you select and Nature park is free. There are some timings for various rides which you need to call and know from their side. Best for families to spend their Sundays together.

Superb place to visit. It would be better for parents to take children here and spend whole day their. More importantly this place re-kindle the curiosity of young minds and expand their imagination levels which is otherwise too limited between boring academics, online classes and limited home-school environments only. If you haven't been here yet, don't waste time and get here ASAP. This is most mind boggling experience you'd get here in Ahmedabad Science City. The entry ticket for the Aquarium gallery is separate from the main Science City entrance ticket and costs ₹200 per person. There are a lot of amazing fishes, sea creatures, amphibians and flora on display. You can even know about these species thanks to a detailed description next to it. Well maintained, well kept and you have a bunch of people to assist you navigate it. It is large, so maybe you may need 1-2 hours to cover it completely. There's also a cafeteria there that serves snacks and beverages, so you can halt here, snack on something and then continue. There is also a merchandise shop. It has 2-3 levels and some of the fishes will actually blow your mind. The aqua tunnel is a unique experience with sharks floating around above you. See lobsters, starfish, frogs, stingray, sharks, penguins, and a great deal of fishes from all over the world. It's a must visit place and yes, it is spik and span clean. There are washrooms and drinking water stations there too.

It is newly introduced at science city ahmedabad and it is just amazing. The concepts adapted are beautiful. They have huge aquariums at the entrance and you also have an option to go underneath the tank and look the at fish closely with magnifying glass. The variety of species are overwhelming. O thoroughly enjoyed the whole concept. And not to forget the Dubai style 360° view aquarium in the end.

It is the best aquarium i have ever visited. The way of presenting, guidance to visitors, attractions and other things are very good. The collection of fishes is good. The impressive thing is the staff at aquarium is having all knowledge about every fish. Truly awesome.

Science city Aquarium is very good place for Kids. Here I have seen all the unique specs of Fish. Center of all attraction is "Shark Tunnel"... Ultimate experience for kids.. Fee is 250 RS....😔 No Cash is taken...only UPI or Card.

Amazing place for kids as well as adults. Lots of activities and things to witness. It will need your whole day if you want to attend all the activities. Snacks and beverages are available inside.Huge parking space. They only take card payments and digital payments.

It's a nice place to visit with family. Tickets can be booked through science city app in advance to avoid standing in the queue. Inside the aquarium it's at par with international standards however surroundings and pathways to the dome are quite filty as visitor through the garbadge along the pathways hence authorities need to take some measures to keep it up-to the standards and hygiene of the place.

It's a must go place for families to know more about our oceans and life beneath it. My only suggestion is that markings need to be accurate. What I mean is tanks with description won't have those fishes. One has to hunt them and then relate. Apart, everything is brilliant. At par at world aquarium experiences.

It is good place to visit. Children enjoys a lot. You have to pay entry ticket in science city. You have to pay aquarium tickets separately. You can spend 1-2 hour as per your interest.

A very nice place to visit on a weekend. The collection of marine life is good. The feeding sessions are very interesting to watch. I personally was really impressed with their collection of sting rays. You can club this visit with a visit to the Robotics Museum situated right next to it.

It's a beautiful place which is fully air-conditioned and hosts a great variety of fishes and other aquatic creatures. The area is large and has enough varieties of fishes and other creatures to keep you engaged. However the best part l believe is the shark tank where one can see live sharks go above their head and is really exciting to watch. A very great place to hang around with friends and family.

Different Types of Fishes available from small fishes to Sharks.. Experience sharks and fishes on 3 sides of us and Same feeling like we are in between them. Tunnel to see the fishes and also experience like we r exploring Aquarium in Dubai or Singapore pr somewhere else. Same style to connect Humans with small and Giant Fishes. Also people who can't do Scuba Diving or not done till now, they can feel like they Scuba dive in Sharks and All other fishes are around them. Also staff there is very hard working. They done diving and providing food to fishes, cleaning the water and also mirrors of tunnels and all the sections to take care of fishes and also people can clearly see them. Amazing experience it was.

In the whole science city… you will love aquatic gallery. I spend 4 hours in science city exploring nature park… then aquatic .. then robotics club… then planet earth. The 499 tickets will include all these things. One thing 100Rs VIRTUAL REALITY will give you experience which is not good for those who are suffering from motion sickness. Earthquake experience is also not good in my opinion nothing was enjoyable there. (one thing there was problem of locating the places)

Superb.. Place! Avoid Sunday's... As its crowded! And its better if you book online or else u might have to loss another 30min for that! We took ₹349 package which is available on all days! It was satisfying! If u take ₹499 package..which is unavailable on non weekends, you can enjoy some robotic events!

One of the best aquatic place in India. Well maintained and ticket cost is very less. It was not that much crowded as it was a weekday. Must recommended for kids, however, be ready to walk. It is in the huge area.

This would be one of the best experiences in Ahmedabad with many unknown species of the marine animals. They have the penguins too. There major attraction is the shark tank tunnel full of small fishes, stingrays and the sharks. Favourite place after the Dubai mall aquarium. I have tried taking pictures & videos for better understanding.

Well maintained air conditioned gallery. Vast variety of fishes, both river and ocean. All tanks have info of fishes they hold. There is huge tank through you can walk, it was a thrilling experience. Penguins were special attraction among kids. We were lucky to see awake penguin. Enthusiastics will need atleast 2 hrs to view this place.

The entrance has a aquarium at top. Each aquarium has wide range of fish collection. A very wide range of sea fish also available including poisonous fish.
