World's biggest cricket stadium. It is a great job done by authorities. They have changed the face of the venue completely. It is big and it is awesome. Now it is our responsibility as citizens to maintain this beauty. I witnessed that some people thought they own it by buying a ticket of 500 bucks. Moreover there was some nuisance as well. I hope citizens understand their responsibility and respect the visiting team and the beauty which has been registered as world's largest stadium.

Currently the largest Cricket stadium of the world. But people sitting at the backside don't get to see anything on the ground properly because of the distance. Metro station is next to the stadium. Only stadium in India in which shadow is not formed because of flood light because lights are placed on the top in a circular manner. Playing area looks beautiful. Surrounding area of stadium looks like a village.

The seating was comfortable and the views are great especially when you’re sitting in either North or South stand. Loved the atmosphere during India vs Pakistan game with more than 120k people, it was truly a lifetime experience. This stadium is probably the best place to watch a cricket game due to its huge capacity. Also, the metro drops you directly outside the entrance of the stadium so its very convenient though it gets really crowded during a game. Only downside is that there is literally no maintenance to the washrooms during the game. When the stadium is close to its capacity the management need to clean the washroom at regular interval but it had the floor wet all the time where one cannot even stand the stinky smell which is an embarrassment in front of non-indian crowd.

Massive stadium with all amenities. For sure one of the best stadium in the world. The lights are different from normal floodlights and are best for Day/night matches. Visibility from all angles is great but it's best to see the match from long off/ long on. Seats next to pavilion are also worth experiencing. Don't carry anything with you in the stadium as anything isn't allowed inside, they will ask to remove earphones, cap, etc. So it's advisable to not carry anything along except phone and ticket.

A magnificent cricket ground!!! Great atmosphere and facilities. I went here with my friends to watch the IPL qualifier final match. Watching a cricket 🏏 match in the largest stadium 🏟️in the world was a truly memorable and great experience for me. The ground has a capacity of 1.3 lakh which is capable of accommodating more cricket fans. Security and ticket validation are seamless and efficient. The toilets 🚻 were clean. Food is available on the site. It is accessible to wheelchair users. ♿✅

The biggest stadium in the world is not just an exaggeration. If you love cricket you have to visit this place in a country where cricket is worshipped. The stadium has state-of-the-art facilities, modern dressing rooms, and plush hospitality areas. It has a capacity of 1,32,000, there is a seating capacity of 25 each in the 76 corporate boxes, which are usually reserved for guests and dignitaries.

Biggest cricket ground in the world with a seating capacity of 110,000 people. The stadium is very well built and maintained by the Gujarat Cricket Association. It has got proper entry and exit points, good security and best of all, clean and well maintained washrooms for the public. The environment created by the huge crowd and lighting is spectacular.

It was indeed a good experience while taking the Herd immunity. 50% of the stadium's capacity offered a lot of social distancing (for the empty stands). Filling one stand and leaving another makes really good sense. I just hope that herd immunity works on me and I won't be required any vaccination further, beneficial for Government as two doses of vaccine would be saved. Alright honestly it's a big, huge and just way too amazing stadium! I can't wait to come back here when it'll be in full capacity. Stadium is clean and tidy, also you'll find free drinking water near washroom area. Seats are quite comfortable and flexible. MUST VISIT STADIUM!

The west stands get the maximum shade. Thank me later. The worlds largest stadium and it stands by its hype. Watching a game here is an absolute pleasure. World class amenities. From wash rooms to ambulance access until the second floor. This has 5 entry gates to let in people. Even the lighting is smartly distributed across the entire roof. Went to watch the historic India Vs Pakistan world cup match. With a crowd of 121000 people. This was by far the best experience ever.

The seats are nice and comfortable. Environment is great. 🕺🕺 You get snacks regularly but I don't trust the quality 😁 Washrooms are clean and tidy 🚻 + They have water stalls outside so you don't have to pay 50-60rs for a bottle 🙏🍶 Bring your horns and cheer for the team you love . The stadium is huge and the vibe of so many people is amazing. But I would prefer smaller stadiums so that we can see the players more closely and hear the sound of bowl hitting the bat.

One of the best stadiums in India. I have been to IND vs Pak match and it is completely worth. The stadium is big, u would feel it empty even after the attendance of 1L people. The match is well organised with 3 parking zones. You'll not be allowed to take suncream, deodorant or even comb into the stadium, even if it is not mentioned in the rule. If you take any prohibited items, it will be stolen. The restroom and drinking water is available in the stadium but it will be mostly crowded. Also, recheck-in is not available. Once u go out, you can't come in.

Infrastructure is marvelous. Seating capacity is 1 lac +. Public transportation is recommended because of the poor parking facilities. Even after paying lot for parking you have to walk too much for main gate entrance. They don't allowed any kind material i.e.power bank, pen, stick etc

The sheer size of the stadium, scale of the gallery and architecture of the facade is enough to make your jaws drop. I had the opportunity to go for a Cricket World Cup Match at this monumental stadium. What surprised me the most here was that, the signage of the stadium was so good, it was literally a breeze to find my seat. All the pillars and Blocks are named and numbered. That is high Praise for a stadium with 1.3 lakh capacity. Also the view from both upper and lower stands are equally good. What I didn't like was the parking facilities there. Most of the parking lots are more than 500 meters away, which means you have to walk a lot. You can take the metro to reach here. But funnily enough, even the motera station is like 400 meters away from the main gate. So walking is compulsory. Rest of the amenities like drinking water, toilets and food were well arranged. 5/5 Must experience a match here. Happy Xploring

Built on the banks of the Sabarmati river on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, the Sardar Patel Stadium is an imposing structure which can accommodate about 54,000 spectators. The stadium was built on a 50-acre land donated by the state government, and took only nine months for its completion. It was renovated ahead of the Champions Trophy in 2006, when three new pitches and a new outfield were laid, and state of the art floodlights and covered stands were added. Also known as the Motera, after the place where it is located, the venue hosted its first Test in November 1983 and has been witness to some memorable Indian feats - Sunil Gavaskar got to his 10,000 Test runs here, against Pakistan in 1986-87, and seven years later, Kapil Dev nailed his 432nd victim to go past Richard Hadlee as Test cricket's leading wicket-taker. The pitch here used to aid bowlers - three of the first four Tests produced results - but the track started playing slow and low, aiding neither the bowlers nor the strokeplayers. As a result, draws became the norm for a while, till the South Africans rolled India over for 76 in the first morning of the 2008 Test and finished the game in three days.

Went here for the Men’s CWC 2023 Finals. A bittersweet memory. It’s easy to reach the gates if you are taking the Metro which has its last stop near Gate 1. Have to walk a little towards Gate 2, which was ours. Since there were close to 1,00,000 people with us trying to enter, it took us some time to get in. But the process was free flowing after the initial check. The stadium has so much space around the stands that you can easily have a stroll when you like. We sat at the top so the first time we got there, it was a bit overwhelming. Had to stop in the middle to take a breather. Match viewing is good all around. The only minus is the cell reception is too weak plus there won’t be proper ventilation if you sit in the upper tiers. Toilers were on an another floor separately so that is good. If you are going for the lower tiers and a day match, be prepared to sit in the sun for a good bit of time. Overall, worth making a trip to see this mammoth in real life.

The Biggest stadium of India. Too much crowd when it's full house. But you will enjoy the spectacular view and the acoustic from any point in the stadium🏟. Only the refreshment price needed to reviewed by organizer. Since everyone is paying too much on tickets the refreshment should be within the range it should not be 4-5x times the MRP.

Simply awesome. Nice huge stadium. Need better cleanliness tho. And more options of cool water. Sadly they also need better snacks pricing. 300 rs for veg McDonald's burger and 350 rs for veg small hard pizza I don't everyone can afford. For a one day match saw many parents keep their kids hungry because they couldn't afford these prices. Coke outside the stands were 50rs per glass. Same glass in the stands were rs. 100. It was daylight Robbery. Stand experience is good if your near the ground. But from above u get a good view but at times u can't make out what's happening.

The fact that India has the world's largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with a seating capacity of 1,32,000, is a source of pride for Indians. With the most cutting-edge lighting and sound system. Not only does the food booth need to be properly set up permanently, but the housekeeping and parking facilities also need to be upgraded.

India and West Indies are set to clash in the three-match ODI series, starting February 6.The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host all three ODIs.Over the years, the iconic venue, also known as the Sardar Patel or Motera Stadium, has produced a number of classics.Let us have a look at the pitch report and stats of this stadium. Context Why does it matter? The Motera Stadium is presently the largest cricket stadium in the world, with a seating capacity of over 1,30,000.The stadium got constructed in 1983 before getting renovated in 2006.In February 2021, the stadium was renamed the Narendra Modi Stadium by the Gujarat Cricket Association.Thereafter, it played host to the Day/Night Test between India and England. Report Here is the pitch report Over the years, the wicket at the Narendra Modi Stadium has favored spinners.Interestingly, the top four wicket-takers in Test cricket at this venue are spinners, with legend Anil Kumble leading the pack. The surface gets slow as the match progresses.Batters will have to work hard for runs in the middle overs. This stadium has produced several low-scoring encounters. Stats A look at the stats The Narendra Modi Stadium has hosted a total of 21 ODIs, with the teams batting first winning 11.The average first innings score at this venue is 242, while the average second innings score is 212.South Africa recorded the highest total here in 2010 (365/2 vs India). The lowest total here was recorded by Zimbabwe in 2006 (85 vs WI). I had an opportunity to watch IND vs PAK ICC WORLD CUP 2023 in this stadium. The facilities and security including screening is top class, however, you need to make a note of few things. - Read the instructions listed on the ticket very carefully. There have been a few instances where spectators had to leave their airpods or other prohibited items outside the stadium. - If you accidentally took them, DO NOT leave them near the security checkpoint. Instead, go to a nearby store where a permanent shop is located, leave the items there, pay the man an additional amount, and then get the items when the game is completed. — The metro is the best way to get to the stadium from any area of the city; you may download the "AhemdabadMetro" app from the app store; the stadium is also known as "Motera stadium" — Never indulge with a local security guard or booking partner; police officials take such behavior extremely seriously and may detain you for violating protocol. — Try to obtain whatever you want to eat or drink before returning to your seat because the vendor lads will offer you roughly 0.5 times as much of it inside the seating area. — Until the completion of the game, make sure to keep your ticket on you at all times. You must need to present it whenever you leave the seating area to get a snack and way back to the seating area. — Make sure the bar code is not tampered before it is scanned; otherwise, you won't be allowed on the premises.

Narendra Modi stadium world largest stadium. Once in a lifetime experience it was really wonderful but the rate of any food and beverages are too much high. Even a glass of water rate also too much high. Amazing atmosphere. Watching live cricket match is like out of the world. Worth to visit in lifetime Need to revise rate of food and beverages (specially water) for common people.

Even though it has a capacity of 1L+ people, you wouldn't have issues in going in and finding your seat. The washrooms are kept super clean and have enough capacity that you wouldn't have to wait for long unlike other stadiums. The lights are amazing, have great air ventilation too.

Formerly known as the Gujarat Stadium, the ground was renamed in tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,India's first Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. Before the Sardar Patel Stadium, international cricket matches in the city were played at the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's stadium of the same name (Sardar Patel Stadium) in the Navrangpura area. In 1982, the Government of Gujarat donated a 100-acre (400,000 m2) stretch of land on the banks of the Sabarmati River to build a new stadium. The construction of the Sardar Patel Stadium was completed in nine months.Since then, all International cricket fixtures for the city are hosted here. In the 1984-85 Australia-India series, Sardar Patel Stadium hosted its first ODI, in which Australia defeated India. Sunil Gavaskar was the first cricketer to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket against Pakistan in the stadium in 1987.In 1983, Kapil Dev took a nine-wicket haul against the West Indies in 1983, and claimed his 432nd Test wicket at the stadium to become the highest wicket-taker in the world in 1995, which broke Sir Richard Hadlee's previous record. In 1996, the ground hosted a low-scoring Test match against South Africa, where the visitors lost 105–170. Javagal Srinath took six wickets in the fourth inning of the match. South Africa won in a rematch game when they bowled India out for 76 runs in the first session of the Test match in 2008 and won the game by an inning and 90 runs. The Narendra Modi Stadium, commonly known as the Motera Stadium, is a cricket stadium situated inside the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. As of 2021, it is the largest stadium in the world, with a seating capacity of 132,000 spectators. It is owned by the Gujarat Cricket Association and is a venue for Test, ODI, and T20I cricket matches. The idea to build the new stadium was reportedly proposed by Narendra Modi, the president of the Gujarat Cricket Association and the Chief Minister of Gujarat at the time. Shortly before Modi moved to Delhi after becoming the Prime Minister of India, there were discussions about minor upgrades to the stadium and development of the structure at the pavilion end. Modi asked the officials to build a new larger stadium instead of minor renovation work when he learned about the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

THE WORLD’S largest cricket stadium hosted its first day of bigtime cricket with a stream of VVIPs, key announcements, a bunch of wickets — and a new name. The 130,000-seat arena at Motera in the Prime Minister’s home state of Gujarat, which was inaugurated Wednesday by President Ramnath Kovind, will be known as Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium and be a part of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave.

Grand stadium. Inside everything is nice. But toilets should be attended for cleaning in real time continuously when match is going on. Drinking water was abundantly provided through out the match and that to free of cost. Tea is not available inside stadium in any counter. This is not good as Indians are habituated of afternoon tea. Foreigners who visit stadium to watch their country match should get opportunity to taste our popular natinal drink.
