The "Mani Mansion" hotel in Ahmedabad is a beautiful vintage property with modern day amenities and ample furniture in a quite location in a busy place. During our visit, we opted for the executive room on the first floor, featuring a king-sized bed. The room is in fact bigger than what the image suggests. The room impressed us with its generous size, cleanliness, and lovely windows that added to its charm. Furthermore, the hospitality we received from the receptionists, owner, gatekeeper, and restaurant staff was exceptional. Their exemplary manners, kindness, and readiness to assist enhanced our stay. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a delightful experience, with the food being both delicious and of high quality, although slightly on the expensive side. We were so pleased with our stay at Mani Mansion that we look forward to returning on our next trip to Ahmedabad. The city itself is captivating, with its beautiful people and remarkable historic temples and architecture adding to its allure.

Very nice and quite place, we enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Luckly they upgraded our room to suit with absolutely no extra cost. Many thanks to management and all the staff, they all were great 👍👍👍

Disappointing experience. Staff service was terrible and extremely poor management. Room was not great either. Curtains were completely torn with huge patches leaves a bad impression over guests and unwelcomed. Breakfast was ok but crockeries were dusty. Some parts of the place looks abandoned, not as fancy as shown in the pictures. Overall this place isn't worth the price. Not recommended at all.

If u want to experience something different in the middle of the city, then this is the right place. A old style peaceful ambience. Cleanliness has to be looked into. Serving tray was dirty, in room some patches were not upto mark and starts giving u a negative vibes. But want to experience something different, one must try this hotel

The photos looked really good, however on reaching the hotel it was a disappointment. Torn curtains, bad breakfast and disrespectful staff with bad manners.While the tribute is to 'heritage' the rooms were not satisfactory for the price it quotes.The curtains were fully torn and not cleaned.The shower near the pool is not usable.

I recently visited this beautiful heritage hotel for dining! Honestly speaking I was surprised to see this place! It was magnificent and this place has a really peaceful vibes! 😊 The best thing which I got to know is about their vegetables! They grew most of their vegetables in their farms and that too organically! If you are in Ahmedabad I would suggest you to visit this place one and I am sure you will fall in love with the heritage hotel! 😊 They even have a pool side date arrangement and they serve various cuisine! I have tried Gujarati Dishes as that I well know over here! 😊

Pros : Location is good, well connected , lot of small restuarents near by, hotel is well maintained Buffet breakfast was very good Cons : OK for business travel, Vibes missing for Holiday travels. swimming pool is almost always closed (Ask them any time of day, they will give some excuses, in 3 days stay could use swimming pool only once! every reception staff is trained to tell you a different story and timing when pool is operational) There is no changing room or shower room near pool Family suit is just 3 rooms combined, still OK to stay

Mani mension is heritage hotel at Paldi, Ahmedabad. Very nice property for wedding,ring etc functions of limited persons upto 100. Superb hospitality. Nice ambience. Nice food. Rooms furniture is ancient type. Enjoyed lots of ring ceremony function. Swimming side area is also very good.

This is really awesome place for stay in Ahmedabad. Silent place and interior is also like heritage and staff was really good and service is also nice.

The hotel is good but their wifi is very poor which is somehow essential for any stay. Also they don’t provide food all the time :( their restaurant gets closed and after that house keeping is left with almost no option. So they must improve their food collection and order taking hours.

A heritage property with an I'll maintenance. The location of the property is good and the service is great too. However the rooms have multiple issues. Hot and cold water is not consistent. Shower doesn't work properly. Wardrobes door do not close. Service and hotel staff are courteous but not prompt. The hotel seems to be dieing a slow death from its grandeur it once had.

At time of our visit in january-22, Swimming pool was not functional, instead there was waste disposed around pool area. View from room was a unconstructed building Would not recommend this place to anyone until proper renovation. This place has a great history and heritage, hope management puts enough effort to preserve it.

Nice boutique hotel. The room 205 was very spacious and clean with a swing. It was the highlight of the room since we had a kid with us. Complementary Buffet breakfast was good with a variety. The restaurant's food quality and taste was good, although it was pricey. The only complaint was the fan in the room was a bit noisy, and even though after requesting to fix it, no one took any heed. But overall a very good experience.

Beautiful Heritage Hotel to stay , loved the ambiance , it’s quiet and cozy as it’s tucked away inside a bustling city . Simply lovely to eat out at the terrace or poolside and even inside the restaurant. Yum food We had booked a deluxe room and the room was upgraded to suit as we reached early morning and had to leave to visit SOU . They are so lovely people service is on time neat place.

Superb service. I had stayed for 2 nights with family. The staff ensured that the experience was top notch. Do check out the offerings from their millet restaurant. They even prepared ragi halwa for our kid as per the recipe we suggested. With kid friendly staff, ample parking space and located centrally in Ahmedabad, one can confidently stay at this heritage property and be rest assured that you'll have a great experience.

This is heritage property. Almost 100 year old. Property is well maintained. Room size have enough big and washroom are too specious. Both rooms and washroom have modern fittings. Ground floor room have some maintenance going on have musty odor. Breakfast is really great. This is close Sabarmati River Front.

Despite residing in Ahmedabad for more than 30 years I was not aware of this heritage hotel. I was lucky to visit it when one of my friends visited. Huge Heritage rooms. Excellent cuisine and peaceful environment are the USPs.

It's a heritage hotel, so you should not expect the amenities of a modern hotel. But the rooms are big, clean and nice. The reconstruction of the pool is not totally completed yet, but I was able to take a bath. The breakfast is very good. And all the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Without the help of Mrs. Nilam I would not be able to book my bus. Thank you.

So stayed as a guest while attending a wedding so will split the review into 2 parts (room and event) Rooms: Loved the heritage story about the hotel. We had the executive Suite which was quite spacious and we'll kept. Completely value for money. This can be a value for money option but don't expect the services and amenities offered by most 3/4 star hotels in same budget. Service: Was a little slow but overall the staff was gracious. Event: One function which was held here, the catering was by the hotel themselves and was a absolute let down both in terms of service and quality of food.

Mani Mansion Heritage Hotel has become our first choice for a comfortable and experiential stay in Ahmedabad. The Mansion is above 100 years old, beautifully converted into a prime hotel. It was my birthday and my husband booked this as a surprise for me. Ms. Neelam attended us with utmost hospitality and even gave us a room upgrade as a generous gesture for my b'day. The way she helped us with everything was commendable and we thank her for her kindness all the way. Seldom you feel home in a hotel, but this place does feel like you are living in a beautiful mansion which is your home. The staff is very cordial and helpful. The food was scrumptious. The rooms are neat, clean and huge. Breakfast buffet was a delight. Most surprising gesture was when Mr. Dalal himself came up and warmly greeted each and every guest just like we do for our guests at home. The hotel has been a favored place to stay for many celebrated personalities and you can feel the rich history of the place and the city here. Centrally located, it was easy to commute within the city. I would only suggest for a better lit signage as it's quite tricky to find the hotel at once. Everything else was perfect. One of the best places to stay in Ahmedabad if you are heritage lover. ... This place is just awesome in terms of location, service and ambience. The staff is polite and friendly they guide you very well. Food here is very nice and indeed it will make your stay memorable. Highly recommended place in ahemdabad if you are looking for some place connected with the history of india.

This is a heritage property well maintained by the current owner. I will give my honest review as below :- Pros :- 1) Ambience and overall look of the place exudes old world charm and actually gives the feel of a heritage property. 2) The Executive Room was a bit small but very neat and clean. Rate of the room was suitable. 3) There was a little bit of a problem with the bathroom knob which was promptly attended to, and was resolved quickly. 4) Television relayed all the major entertainment channels through the Tata set top box. 5) There is a nice swimming pool at the back. The surroundings of the pool need some cleanliness though. Cons :- 1) The Bed Mattress was too high in size (Manageable for a tall person) and it was squeaky too. 2) In the middle of the night at around 2.20 am, I woke up due to the heavy noises coming from the back side of my room. It was due to the construction work going on behind the hotel in a newly built structure. I called the reception guy Yash, but he was totally clueless with respect to where the noise was coming from. He couldn't help and the heavy noise continued throughout till the wee hours which completely spoiled my sleep and there was a similar complaint from another guest too, but sadly, this complaint went unresolved and this is a major drawback of this place which is surrounded by some commercial establishments that makes it vulnerable to such noise pollution. I cannot sacrifice my sleep over other things. On my next visit, I will first inquire about the noise pollution and will then decide to stay here accordingly.

Advertised 4 star property in reality is a 2 star property with defunct pool and gym. Basic services like shower not working properly despite multiple remainders. A poor experience and don’t recommend this to anyone.

The rooms are nice and clean. Service is average and food is below average. Location is next to a temple where they had some event one day and it was very loud all day. Not in hotel's control but be mindful if you are looking for a quiet place.

Visited this Heritage Mani Mansion. It is quite nice place to visit. It is not too far out of the city, it is within city and thereby appears congested. Property is built and maintained in old palace style. Owner of property Mr Dalal himself stays here on top floor and claims that Mahatma Gandhi once stayed here. One can stay in the same suit in which Kings from Rajsthan stayed. Had food it is quite tasty and good. Well maintained greenery.

A very good place in pure residential area on a very narrow lane. Food is good but mosquitoes just spoil the party. And in spite of asking for the higher management person, they just ignored it.

It is understandable that the current situation limits the services however it is also disappointing to have certain ignorance in some aspects. Firstly, the housekeep- on asking, I only had my bed made and dustbin cleaned. The bath towel was simply rolled and kept back as I could make this out since the towel was wet when used later in the evening. The bathroom accessories were of an expiry date which has expired almost >6 months ago. Breakfast menu was anyways limited and on choice of fruits there wasn't any great availability despite staying there for 3 days. No compliant about the food quality though. I found it freshly made and good in taste. Thanks to Mr. Amar for providing a great service. Your staff was friendly enough which gave a good comfort level.

We visited to have Gujarati thali experience. Booked in advance. Food was best and gives homely taste. No extra masalas. Gheewali chapati was best & i never had this good chapati in any restaurants. Mohan thaal- gujarati sweet dish was do delicious and beyond words. Later visited photo gallery of guests and came to know that RSS cheif visited this restaurant, Shankar Dayal Sharma vidited, Murli Manohar Joshi visited among many TV and film celebrities. One would expect a lot when you choose a welcome property and a property that says heritage. It's their centenary celebration but the place looks mildly run down. It has no sign of centenary celebration or the finesse of Welcome hospitality. However, the staff is kind and helpful. The place is just about okay. The constructions around makes living here a little difficult with all the sound. They also have a rule of not having opposite gender friends to come and spend time in the room... which is regressive. Mani Mansion can become an important property as it's located at a prime crossing. It could also bring back the charm of its golden years by recreating some old world charm. Overall, a forgettable experience. The low cost makes it worth it though.
