    One of the 11 gates of old Ahmedabad (Amdavad - local pronounciation) is since now nearly 600 years old. The whole Ahmedabad was once built inside 11 gates and thick castle wall... Khanpur Gate - one straight gate to Sabarmati river is restored recently but, still not seems proper care. The gate decoration shared here is on the occasion of 75th Independence day of India. I believe, the gate surrounding should be clear from residences.
