Some of the best fish and chips anywhere with friendly service too. Lovely to get something to eat and sit outside on the benches and picnic tables next to the stream on a sunny day and watch the ducks playing. It is a perfect treat.

Found this by the rating as was staying near by for a break. Set in the quaint village, the ladies were lovely, welcoming, service was second to none! Alittle wait, which considering the area was welcome and picturesque! We had a walk down the stream (think Keyser fancied duck 😏) Tip the lady said phone on a weekend to order (it was busy) The food was just what was needed, curry sauce was *chefs kiss* 👌 And Keyser enjoyed his sausage as well! 🐶 😄. I didnt have fish, but it looked lovely and crispy. Big chip portions, when i come back, i will definately have a friday night chippy there again💜

Excellent! Short diversion from the M1, we stopped rather than uses a soulless services. Generous portions (this was a small) and lovely staff. The village green and stream is one minute away, perfect on a summers day. Five stars.

Succulent white cod in crispy batter, with well cooked chunky chips. The friendly staff had my telephone order ready at my chosen time. Good price too. Recommended!

Unfortunately very disappointed. Fish bites were overcooked tail trimmings and not the quality we have been served before. Served a large chips rather than small which was ordered and made up mostly of little sharp dry chips.

Just moved into area 2mnth ago and wow I thought we had some good fish shops we're we've come from but boy this one rates up there with them , very large thick juicey fish , good chips and all very tasty. All in all well recommended. Thank you guys you will get our business.

Just had fish and chips and jumbo sausage and chips. The fish was amazing, batter lovely and crisp on the outside but still soft on the inside, fish juicy and flaky. Chips were delicious, lovely and brown on the outside but gorgeously soft and sweet on the inside, hubby said batter on the sausage was lovely too, would highly recommend
