Dubai Sports City, often referred to as the "sister heart" of Dubai City Center, holds a unique position in the city's landscape. While Dubai City Center represents the bustling urban core with its iconic landmarks and vibrant lifestyle, Dubai Sports City provides a different dimension. It serves as a haven for sports and recreation enthusiasts, offering state-of-the-art facilities for various athletic activities, including golf, cricket, and more. The sports infrastructure and green spaces create a contrast to the urban hustle and bustle, allowing residents and visitors to indulge in a more relaxed and health-conscious lifestyle. Dubai Sports City complements Dubai City Center by providing a balance between the dynamic city life and the need for active leisure. Together, they form an intriguing dual identity, making Dubai a versatile destination where one can experience both the cosmopolitan energy and the tranquility of sports and wellness.

Great area for families. This community appears to attract many European Expats. Metro is not nearby but there are bus routes to get you around if you have hours to invest.

Very nice area to live. As of Feb 2021 lots of ongoing construction in the immediate area. One issue that could be addressed is that there is no pedestrian nor dedicated running cycling/ routes around the area. Bit of a misses opportunity to say its advertised as Sports City.

This place is a dream, lovely buildings and perfects views but unfortunately you won't have nothing near you because if you don't have a car you might to take a bus or a taxi to go minimum to the supermarket or pharmacy. For me could be the singular point of why is not a perfect place after all.

From a perfect POV you can watch 3 of most amazing monuments in Dubai, Burj khalifa, Burj AlArab, Eye of Dubai. Great access to roads and services, lovely family friendly atmosphere and a normally quiet neighborhood ( except for the international cricket games which are amazing by the way). It's worth paying a visit and/or staying for tourists and sports lovers. Don't miss the fitrepublik sports centre.

Dubai Sports City truly stands out as an exceptional facility that has redefined the landscape of sports and entertainment. The presence of a colossal stadium that hosts international tournaments is a testament to the city's commitment to promoting global sportsmanship. This stadium isn't just a venue; it's a stage where history is made and where the world's best athletes compete, leaving spectators in awe. The sport village within Dubai Sports City is nothing short of remarkable. Its ability to accommodate some of the most renowned athletes from around the world speaks volumes about the world-class amenities and services it provides. The village isn't merely a place to stay; it's a home away from home for athletes, ensuring they have the comfort and support they need to perform at their peak. Dubai Sports City's ability to attract and host international tournaments goes beyond the realm of just sports; it's a showcase of the city's global appeal and hospitality. The events held within its boundaries not only create a sense of unity among athletes and fans but also contribute to the city's reputation as a hub of excellence in sports and entertainment. In a world where sports bring people together, Dubai Sports City has established itself as a nucleus of athletic achievement, camaraderie, and inspiration. Its massive stadium, international tournaments, and athlete-centric facilities make it an iconic destination that embodies the spirit of sportsmanship on a grand scale.

Although the name suggests “sports city” .. there are no tracks for walking / running / or cycling! Most of the internal streets don’t even have proper sidewalks for pedestrians! You need to walk between cars to reach some bus stops! I hope whoever is managing this can do something and improve the existing streets and unused sandy areas …

Good area for temporary settlement. There is no park to walk around. Area is becoming more and more populated nowadays. Lots of apartments are being built there. Government should also plan for some parks for the people to spend some time outside.

good for family but you need to have a car to live here. most of the malls and groceries are in motor city so i think living there is better. no traffic inside the area. not crowded like al barsha 1. quiet and peaceful

While it's still under construction on one side, you can still find amazing views here. There are many shops here with a western theme, yet still with reasonable pricing. In winter, the area is perfect for your daily jog. A recommended area for a staycation especially with how low the rates are compared to nearby areas.

a nice place to live, peaceful but you need to have a car as some traffic issue is there, but if you have some work in sharjah this is a good place for you as there is a road you can take that leads to sharjah 😊

The area is nice.. quite and blissful... But we need a public park and proper designated parking space like RTA parkings. Currently cars are parked in open spaces and anywhere there is space, even on pavements making it inconvenient for residents to walk or drive.

There are town houses and apartments in this location. No metro trains in this area but can access easily using bus from internet city metro station. Best for who can use personal vehicles for transportation. Apartments and town houses are affordable.

Town planning is impressive with some cool stucktures though some roads are still under construction. Beautiful place to live cricket stadium is at walking distance .

  • 4/5 George A. 1 year ago on Google
It's a very nice area! The only downside is that it is far from community areas and metro. There is a bus every 20 minutes, but you will still need to have a car to be able to live there properly. Also supermarkets and coffee shops are few and can't be reached easily by walking. Otherwise, buildings are nice and new and it's a well organized area.
