This aquarium is really really cute there are sharks all the fishes you can expect to be at any aquarium it is a little bit smaller than other ones I’ve visited but definitely it’s a comprehensive has all the things that the little kids love turtles sharks catfish eels and other little water creatures I cannot remember. There’s also a little café where you can grab ice cream there’s also food there and a nice balcony to just look out at the view of the city at the river and have a nice lunch or dinner. Oh yes and there is also a nice little gift shop it’s worth it for the price.

I visited the aquarium twice with family and it pays off. Kids likes the type of fish and the way it is designed. Easy to walk around and have an external view from the cafe side as well. The museum is good but was much to see there. The aquarium has penalty of parking spots and easy to access the entrance.

Small, well kept and neat aquarium! Spoiler alert - No big wow factor expectations and they accept only cash. Value for money though, as you can visit the Maritime Museum on the same ticket. Visited with family and friends. Very good option for summer outings. The tickets are really reasonable compared to Dubai and with the same ticket you can visit the maritime museum as well (in the same complex). The aquarium is not so big, but it's good enough to keep kids engaged. Also there is play area and Cafe.

Great place. I have been many times and still enjoy it. Suitable for adults and kids. There is a small canteen ( needs improvement) and a nice souvenir shop. Next to the aquarium is like a Marine museum, where they have Emirati old ships that are made out of wood, fishing methods in the past and many other beneficial information. I would highly recommend to visit this museum.

There are fish quarium and on other side is marine museum also with lot of information about ships and sea transport with history about shopping. For a family of two adult and two children, its 91 dhs that includes visit to Sharjah museum and aquarium. The collection of fishes in aquarium was impressive, ranging from colorful reef fish to majestic sharks and graceful stingrays. The sheer diversity of species on display was a treat for the eyes. One of the highlights of the visit was the special arrangement they had for visitors to interact with some friendly starfish and stingrays. It was a unique opportunity especially for kids who were absolutely delighted by it. Despite the aquarium being relatively busy during my visit, there was no sense of rush or time constraint in exploring each area. This was particularly appreciated, as I could take my time to observe the marine life and read the information plaques without feeling hurried. Parents can rest easy knowing that the security measures in place prevent kids from climbing around the grill and maintain a safe environment for all visitors. An amazing experience with family. Lot of marine species at display. Ambience is good. End of the visit ended with a good moral which is really appreciated. However I felt the temperature inside is very low and it felt really cold during this winter. They could raise the temperature a little especially during winter time. The information catalogues displayed could be developed a bit more so as to attract viewers. The aquariums and display tanks are all well maintained. I loved the surroundings of Sharjah Aquarium a lot. It’s such a serene place to spend time with family. Kids will definitely enjoy the aquarium. People of determination (special needs & handicapped) can enter for free.(Carry necessary proof if required) One person accompanying them too can enter for free. Great time in Sharjah Aquarium. No need to pay extravagant fees to have a moment with various kinds of sea creatures. Make sure you take time reading the information in every part so that everyone can learn something. The place looks clean and well maintained (inside and outside). Best that it’s not crowded at all when we came (around 2pm on a Sunday). In about an hour our walk was finished. There’s a cafe, souvenir shop and a photo kiosk where you can buy the photos the staff took right at the entrance (only if you want, not mandatory).

Amazing place to visit here in Sharjah area. Just walked an hour from my place. Its all worth it. If you want a quiet walk and calm environment visit Sharjah Aquarium. Got bored of seeing malls, visit Sharjah Aquarium and Maritime Museum for change. Both are located in same compound, entry fees is 25 AED only for both. Maritime Museum is about sea trade since ancient time to present, displayed makeover boats and also few original boats, detail about pearl and trade. Aquarium is build in 2 floor contains many types of fishes, childrens will love to see.

Very calm and nice aquarium. Compared to Dubai this one is a real hidden gem. We were literally the only visitors on a Wednesday morning. All staff were very polite. We came here with a Groupon which included also visits to 14 other museums in Sharjah emirate. There is a small cafe inside the aquarium and a gift shop. The aquarium is well maintained - in fact some maintenance was ongoing when we visited. Overall great experience and recommended especially for families looking to avoid the crowds of Dubai.

It was an amazing experience, great place to explore underwater experience, which hosts a lot of local fishes and other aquatic animals like giant eel, huge lobster, micro fishes, sharks, groupers, and a lot more. You can easily spend 1 hour in aquarium and 30 minutes in museum. There is a small pound of star fishes where kids can touch and feel the star fishes on display that is also included in the same tour. The ticket price is AED 25 for adults and kids above 2 yrs is 15 AED. With the same ticket, you can also visit the Sharjah Maritime Museum, located right next to the Sharjah Aquarium, without any extra cost. I visited it with my family and I would recommend everyone to visit with your family and you will have a great experience.

Its a really nice aquarium. Lots of different kinds of unique fishes I've never seen before. But no other sea creatures other than one sea turtle. Its a very peaceful place. There's a cafe in the aquarium too. Nothing to write home about but it's good enough. The fees is 25dhs for adults which is surprising 🤔 good and you get to visit a museum too which shows how sea trade evolved especially in Sharjah.

There's an aquarium and a museum in the sane compound. Both can be accessed with the same ticket. The only set back is you need to have cash with you. Card is not accepted here. But you can take cash from an ATM in the same compound. Not overly crowded. But expect families during weekends. There's an ordinary coffee shop inside the aquarium. One of the best acquarium. We can see fish clearly and from very close distance. Also boats Musium is in same building. This is located on the bank of Sharjah creek water. My friend liked this acquarium and said it's better than Dubai Mall. It's ideal picnic spot for Sharjah residents. Outside slide, swing and water fountain is attraction for children. We visited and there was very long queue for entry.

My experience has been good, the entrance fee is 25aed per person which is an decent amount for aquarium & maritime musuem, both the places are right across each other. one ticket helps you to visit both the places once you are done with the aquarium you can see in opposite there is the museum, when you goo in no need to buy an ticket over there you can just show the aquarium ticket to the counter they will scan and give you an acess in. One thing which i would like to highlight is when you go in the aquarium once you pass one section or one area your not allowed to go back in there soo if you wish or feel that lets take a whole round quickly and will goo back again that is not possible, so I would suggest you move slowly enjoy the moment and if wanna click pictures just go for it. There is no specific time limited to stay in one play that is something i like the most as the staff are not pushing the guest to move forward quickly and letting them enjoy the place properly. Even the sitting outside of the aquarium is amazing it has an amazing view where you can click good pictures as well as kids would just love the whole place.

I loved the place, it was quite and only few ppl were there, very interesting if you want your child to discover a good variety of fish, however it would be really benificial if the administration of the aquarium put labels in front of every station to identifies the fish names and Pic. This is my only recommendation to make the place a better learning environment for all of us, wish to see in the future other fish as stingrays, octopus, starfish,....
