If you have a booking here or are thinking of staying don’t. For starters, there are 2 nightclubs that blare music every night from 11-3 am. Second, the rooms and facilities here are awful. The bathroom had an overwhelming smell of mold and mildew and there were moldy places in the bathroom in the shower and by the sink, there was also water in the ceiling that wouldn’t drain and barely hot water for showers. When I went to check out the front desk employee pulled up a random picture of a “broken” lamp and FORCED me to pay 100 dirhams. I know the price of this hotel is quite attractive and you may see many good reviews but take my word and find another place to stay. the only redeeming factor about this place is it’s location but that doesn’t make up for the negatives.

Me and my husband booked this hotel for vacation in Dubai. We had bad experience from there. They have given us a basic room said that our room was given to someone else. Regarding bathtub they said some actress died in bathtub so we can't use it. All reasons were rubbish and service was very poor. Finally we had to talk to the manager and he was a gentleman and agreed the fault was from their end. And provided us good room with good service.. we were tourist there and we were disappointed on the first day in Dubai coz of all this.. Anyway the room they provided later was good..

Absolutely wonderful service and rooms! Clean and tidy, responsive reception and helpful staff. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast and the fact that our room was on the 8th floor and we couldn’t sleep all night because of loud music playing through the night as the 10th floor hosts a disco tech/ party area.

Nice and decent hotel, we had a very pleasant stay with no issues. The location of the hotel is the best, you will find everything nearby, Abra ride to bur dubai and textile souk, gold souk and al ras metro station is also nearby say around 600 meters. We stayed for 3 night's and we discovered all nearby places with 0 taxi charges :). If you are only looking for a stay then this is the best hotel and you can go for it, you will save lot and utilities these money shopping 😀.

My first time in Dubai and the service offered from the moment i got in the property was amazing!..the bellman,front desk agents,offered me top notch services...made me feel at home!!! The only things I liked was how big my apartment was, the fact that I had no trouble with the staff, compared to what other reviews here said and that the hotel is within walking distance from the Al Ras metro station. But why in the bloody world would there be nightclubs in a hotel?? I was on the eighth floor, and the music was so loud that it kept me awake all five nights I was there. On the one night, I managed to go to sleep before they started the party, it woke me up - the headboard was shaking with the booms of the music. When I asked the clerk why it was so loud, he denied it. The (very bad oriental club) music was on every night from 11 or 12 to 4 a.m. Then at 5 a.m. you get woken up by the public call for prayer, so no sleep at all if you go there for work. And no, ear plugs didn't work with the noise level. I was a wreck after my sleepless stay in this hotel. Also, I don't think this hotel has ever seen any repairs or improvements. It's not chic, it's just overpriced boarding in an old building with stinky hallways - it reeks of cigarette smoke, although there are no smoking signs everywhere and stinky furniture. You can't open the windows, so the only air refresh you get is from the AC. The windows also have zero noise cancellation proprierties. Breakfast is not very international friendly. It's mostly cooked meals, like we would have for lunch in Europe, mostly spicy. The bathtub was clogged, and the water was never fully clear. The first night I got there, I couldn't shower because the water was all rusty. I also got a leaky ceiling one day - I got back to my room and found big rusty puddles on my bathroom floor and countertops. They cleaned it, and the second day, I still got some leak on the floor. You can get double the quality for your money for half the price in European cities if you choose well. This was completely not worth it.

St. George Hotel is located at the prime location called diera. The hotel is very neat and clean. It is a 10 minutes drive from the airport. You have a lobby in the ground floor for relaxing and for visitors. The rooms are well maintained. The room service and food is available 24/7. You can just call using the phone in your room and get the meal served at you room itself. The food available on the menu card in the room are a bit costly compared to restaurants available outside. They will provide you 2 water bottles for free each day. If you want extra water bottle then you have to pay from your pockets. For extra water bottle they charge 15 dirams, however if you purchase the same water bottle from outside it will cost you just 3 -5 dirams. Hotel does have a two level parking facility too. In the evening you can hang out or visit the party hall in the ground floor where there will be drinks, dance and you will enjoy it. Some people might feel scared to enter the hall because there are body guards at the entrance but don't worry they are very friendly and make sure that you people are safe. The hotel staff are very friendly and will help you with all your requirement. There is also pickup and drop cabs available from airport to hotel and vice versa. The nearest metro station available for transportation is Al Ras which is just hardly 200mts from the hotel and in a walkable distance which will take just 5 minutes to reach. When you come out of the hotel you also do have boat station. They charge 1 dirams to drop you to the other end which is Par Dubai boat station. If there is no crowd then they charge according. Finally, the best hotel in it's price. Best option if you want to spend less and have a great accommodation. This hotel is recommended for everyone.

The hard rock cafe rooftop lounge was really bad at this hotel. They charged us 30% service fee on top of our main bill. Even after explaining to them that 5% is the legitimate amount, they forced us to pay the 30%. Never going back to this hotel ever again . Would not recommend anyone to go there either. This hotel is massively disappointing and lacking in every way. Stayed here for 5 nights for my first visit to Dubai. Location wise, it’s situated near the old historical neighbourhood but too far from the city centre. Amenities wise, the safe and a night lamp in the room were not working and the hotel never bothered to repair them, despite us asking them to do it repeatedly. We could not watch anything on the TV because it doesn’t show anything at all. Worst of all, parking isn’t free here. We had to pay 50 dirham to park each night

The room was pretty good and comfy. We booked for a creek side view room but instead the view was blocked by dilapidated buildings inspite of them having rooms in the same floor with a far more better view which was our only letdown. The wifi was slow too. Overall experience was good.

The location and staff are good and cooperative. But When it comes to the room and comfort, I would rate it 0. Mattress of the bed was a huge disappointment. Besides this size of the bed was not proper enough for 2 persons with a kid to sleep comfortably. There's a smell in the room of the old building. I just arrived here on the 5th of Nov and by mistake booked a room for 6 nights. I travel a lot and been in Dubai many times. This is my official trip and after seeing good reviews, booked at this Hotel. All important things are not here. Biggest mistake.

I loved the hotel. The hotel is just beside the Al Ras metro. Anyone who got work in gold souq can simply stay here. Also it is at the very end of the creek so the overall outside experience is pleasant. I stayed here for 3 nights and the room was very big in size. i loved the decor. The size of the washroom was also nice. it was clean, staff were friendly too. the few downsides were, my toilet flash was not functioning properly. Though I didn't complain. the room had some tiny houseflies which were really irritating. Also having such a nice location beside the creek, they gave me a room which was back facing that i didn't like at all.
