Booked over the phone; however two hours before - they called us to advise of $600 minimum spend for table of two which we agreed to. When we got here they told us its $600 per person. We were here late night for shisha, snacks and drinks so were not sure if we were not in a position to commit to the minimum spend before seeing the menu. We explained that was not what we were told on the phone but her response was maybe we did not hear well and thats the policy. No effort to compromise and we were basically booted out. It was our last night in Dubai and we basicslly lost the night and $400AED on transport to and from the lounge. Difficult to explain how much of an upsetting experience this was.

Amazing place to dine and have drinks. The food was exceptional and delicious. I tried the Australian wagyu and tempura shrimps. Both were great. The restaurant is located inside four seasons resort hotel in Jumeirah and easy to reach. They have also outside smoking area for shisha. In summer times it is located on the G floor but in good weather they move the place to the sixth floor as its mainly outdoors.

I went there based on the place pictures. I booked a table 2 hours ahead and made specific request for a nice table with city view as i was trying to impress my guest. However, once we have arrived we were told there is no table available matching my request! I was offered back facing table instead of city view. We had to wait for about 20 minutes with no one at all bothered to offer the menu or even look at us. I had to go back to the receptionist and ask for some one to serve us. The menu is so limited. The food is good enough, but so over priced. Overall, the place is overrated and service is as bad enough that i have to such review.

After getting seated and waiting too long for service you are handed a menu that contains a very normal set of dishes that is exorbitantly priced. The quality of the food was certainly more than adequate, but the prices are even higher than the prices at other high-end establishment and the portions were really small as well. Overall we feel that Mercury Lounge is way overpriced and we would not recommend going there for food. If you are nearby and you are looking for a decent spot for drinks we would recommend it, but we went home with regrets.
