It just made me so happy being there. It’s a wonderful sweet experience. The entrance is 25 dirhams and there’s a couple parking sports reserved on the side for visitors. The staff were very helpful! You can take photos and videos with your smart phones but not a camera

Awesome place, must visit once. Beautiful concept. Basically you can be surrounded by rain without getting wet. Though not perfect (its based on sensors), the look and feel is cool. Recommended online booking in advance for weekends (but you can also get tickets on the counter.. weekdays should be easy) Its FREE for people of determination (disability) and 1 caregiver!! So thats another plus

Nice experience to be in the rain and almost not getting wet. You will have 15mins once you enter the room. The person gives you proper instructions to be followed while walking through the rain. Even if you try to walk as what they say, it’s obvious that you will get wet at least a bit. Lighting arrangement inside the room makes it a bit harder to take photos for a novice photographer like me. After the exposure you can go to washroom where you can dry yourself under the dryer. However, the dryer gives kind of cold air, so it makes you feel more colder. I chose to stay under the sun for a while. 😅. Worthy for the entrance fees. They do have coffee shop inside in case you want to spend some time there.

The experience was amazing! All the staff are very accommodating. Took a lot of instagramable snaps... My daughter like it there. And yasss I brought my balloon celebrating my 33rd birthday. Parking is available and not too crowded. (We visited during weekend).

Very nice experience and beautiful place to go, you just need to remember to walk slowly to get through the rain till the end. The ticket price is reasonable, 25 AED , if you are student or teacher it will be less. Recommended

A memorable experience being in the rain. Rain room of Sharjah is an modern art installation where both adults and kids could enjoy the magical feeling of being in the rain without getting wet. It is a creativity combined with technology. Limited number of people are allowed every 15 minutes and prior booking is recommended. Very reasonable entrance fee.

Nice installation. Worth a visit. Be aware you only get 15 minutes. 25 AED For adults, 15 AED For kids. Must be pre booked online as each time slot only has capacity for 6 people. I wouldn't chance just turning up. It's a darkened room with grate floor so the rain falls through. A large oblong rain area attached to the ceiling creates rain fall overhead. As you move underneath the rainfall area sensors switch off the rain over you, so you can walk amongst the rain area, in theory, not getting wet. In reality you get residual drips & if you walk too fast it doesn't turn off above you quick enough. So expect to get a little wet. They have full body dryers in the bathrooms after though. 15 minutes goes quickly so almost worth booking 2 slots. It looked like there used to be a little cafe there but it wasn't open when we went.

If you have covered most of the major attractions in Dubai, this place shall not be missed. It will not take much time Stepping into this surreal environment, surrounded by falling rain while remaining dry, is both mesmerizing and thought-provoking. The raining area has sensors which detects your movement and that particular 1x1 square metre area will stop raining. But you have to walk really slow. One step at a time not to get wet. Only 15 mins duration and only 7 people are allowed during one session. 4 stars for that immersive experience and good hospitality of staff at reception. Deducting one star for relatively slow sensors which makes you prone to get wet and very low light conditions which makes it difficult for photography. But I think that effect is needed to see the rain drops clearly. Nonetheless, the magic of standing in the midst of rain without getting wet makes it a must-visit for those seeking immersive art encounters. Book online tickets in advance to have zero waiting time. Only 25 AED for adults and 15 AED for kids and senior citizens. Kids below 5 years are free.

This place in sharjah is a new innovation where one can experience continuous downpour of rain without getting wet. You are likely to get wet incase you walk too fast/run. You can book your session online for 25 aed. Kids under 5 yrs go free. It's a 15 minute session but we were lucky enough to spend more time. It's a fun experience with family. Think of all the poses ahead to save time 😂 before you enter.

Amazing experience! Definitely something everyone should try with their loved ones, family, or friends. They also have a small cafe, that has a variety of things like coffee and cookies, which you can take advantage of while waiting for your slot!

Had a great experience, but I feel 15 mins slot is too less time. Want to spend more time but it's limited. It is recommended to book your slot online otherwise you have to wait long. If you don't want to get wet walk very slowly. They have dryer machine inside washroom area.

A simple walk-through gallery on two floors to enjoy the artwork of people from this region and abroad. It is not a very big museum but whatever it contains, it is displayed well. There are both paintings and creative arts there. Entrance to the museum is free and one needs to deposit their belongings in lockers near the reception. Galleries are well-spread out. The museum has many wings, each hosting a different exhibition. From local artists to international collections of note, this has something of all. From paintings to sculptures and artworks, there is a lot to see and admire here. One can easily spend 2-3 hours just taking in all the collections this museum has to offer. To get here, one must closely follow directions as per Google Maps, as the building is in a rather busy area and not that easy to find. While here, one can also check out the art collections at the Bait Al Serkal next door. AED 10 for entry opens 8 to 8 Fri closed

📍Rain Room Another MUST visit place in Sharjah 💧you better book your ticket online its 25 aed ($ 6.84) only. 💧Max of 30 mins I guess not sure about the time coz were having fun inside. 💧Staff will inform you if time is up. Its very good though time is less. So better take a video then crop or screen shot for the best shot. To maximize your time. 😅 thats what we did and tips for you. 👍🏼 💧 Water is censored so walk slowly towards the center to avoid getting wet for the entire day. 💧 Bring extra shirts / small towel just in case. 💧 We use phone inside only. So im not sure if big cameras are allowed but check better ask that doing nothing. Enjoy!! See you to our next spot. 😍

A beautiful place. Visited in january 2024. Great idea. One cant understand the place without visiting it. A large dark hall with one bright light, giving a spectacular effect. The sensors detect the presence of a body n stop the water flow. One has to move very slowly. Not an ideal system as we got significantly wet. Large air dryers in washrooms saved the day. Price is also on the higher side i think. A must visit place.

  • 4/5 Dharam veer S. 3 years ago on Google
Nice experience for one time. It was really nice to be in the rain room without water falling on our body because of motion sensor. But, to walk very very slowly. You can also stand in one place by seeing the rain around you...you can also take pics inside the rain room. Only 15 minutes duration to be in room. Open Again

Very nice experience for the family. Just being in the middle of the rain without getting wet, is a very remarkable experience that youn will never forget. Definitely you have to follow the instructions very carefully if you want to finish your tour with few drops on your head and shoulders, if not then you will end up soaked 😉. My advice is to have a towel just in case, and for kids, mostly you will have to change their tops since it won't be easy for them to follow instructions and stay dry 😉. Free parking is available and reserved for the facility and it is very much accezlssable to wheelchairs.

Rain room is good for kids and photography enthusiasts. Water falls from top like rain which is automatically started & stopped when light is hindered while walking under it. Its fun because u have to walk really slow for this to work. U can also take nice photos.

Really beautiful unique experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. Make sure you try to go when there aren’t too many people. Being inside the rain is magical and seeing where the rain begins and ends is also quite cool! When you come visit make sure you go to other places in Sharjah like the Sharjah Art Museum and you make it a day out in town

We went to Rain Room. It is a different experience for all of us. Have not seen rain for more than an year. This was good. Only challenge was it was too dark and if it had better lighting then this could be a great experience. The tickets are very economical and affordable. We should go at least once.

I heard about the “rain room” a long time ago, but I didn’t have the opportunity to go there. But yet I’ve successfully made it, I enjoyed it and had fun. I took a bunch of astonishing photos. It’s a nice experience to go through and see how humans reached with the technology to create and invent an innovative idea which is a “rainy room”.

This was a fun and unique experience. We went on weekday morning and were the only ones there. There was limited parking but it wasn't an issue as there were no other visitors. The rain room is really impressive. Do be careful walking too fast under the rain or you will get dripped on! Prepare to get a little bit wet.

Hi there is nothing extraordinary here, there is a room with showers upto approx 50 to 70 metres and you have to walk step by step inorder to be dry , if you walk in your normal way you will be wetted , it's good for kids if they like the shower and for sure they will be wetted as they never walk slowly and in that passion. Regarding tickets it's better to buy tickets online rather than going and come back as some of the days are really busy. There is small snacks shop inside the entrance and small waiting hall with 4 to 5 tables

This rain room is one of its kind in the land of UAE 🇦🇪. The location on google map is very easy to navigate hence why we were able to get there earlier than expected. If you’re a teacher or student just provide your ID you’ll get a whooping 50% discount😁, this is a very good sign for you to visit there as a teacher or student. There’s one of the workers there that would show you the way to the room and explain how to enjoy the wonderful experience of rain in the UAE 🇦🇪, is that not lovely 😊. There’s a sensor you just have to choose a mapped area and walk slowly then you’ll just be walking like magician and rain won’t drop on you but you’ll see it in front of you and behind you. First time as a foreigner I’m experiencing something like that… Indeed travel is part of education. I recommend this place to create lovely memories and bring back the childhood experience you’ve had about rain and all. Less I forget, we were able to create magical slomo and took lots of pictures there and they’re all instagram worthy😁. Guys go see for yourself and understand what I’m typing here. #rainroomsharjah

Interesting and not too expensive to visit, Adult admission is $7 and students (which can be anyone under 25 years of age) $4. There is also an Afghan restaurant like 25 feet from the entrance where you can “to go” some decent cheap food, and fresh tandoor made Afghan breads

A very wonderful hidden gem in Sharjah. This is a unique motion sensor rain, that gives you a spectacular walk in rain experience (without water touching you). They staff guides you and gives you an idea of how fast to walk and ways to avoid the water touching you. I would definitely recommend this place and the prices are very reasonable.

The place is nice but you cannot use tripod. My friends and I were in the room for less than 30 minutes waiting the other visitors to finish taking there pictures, a local guy came saying we had to go because we were there for too long. The place was not even full. But stuff are not very friendly.

Enjoyed well.. The sensors are little bit slow to wet you with few water drops unless you move very very slow inside the shower.. Carry a piece of towel or tssues with you to wipe off those few water drops...It is a dark room and you cant expect an outdoor experience..(visited in the evening/no view through glass walls)... Something different in emirates. You will enjoy the place, but it's gonna so fast. It wasn't clear and nobody advised us on how long we could spend there, apparently it was only 15 mins. Once you got in there, you lose the track of time. It took us around 15 mins to find best angle. As we just started to take photos, we've been told to leave. Moreover, you have to book the visit slot in advance, otherwise you would leave without visiting it. Overall the art foundation is an amazing modern installation, must visit place. The ticket costs 25AED.

It was different kind of experience being in UAE! In this hot place something cool to explore and experience! Must try At least once! I booked in advance online and we went 20 mins earlier so we waited for our time! There was no que and all people come take tickets and go in! 15 mins time inside to enjoy the rain! Insta worthy pics and videos are cool! If too many people inside its difficult to take pictures! Walk extremely slowly so rain speed is less! They have drier room but it was cold air! Instead we can go out and stand 5 mins for drying! Natural or artificial rain is always beautiful!!

The staff is kind. You need to walk slowly and slowly and slowly to avoid getting wet. It’s really cool.

Its great place to visit. Do not wear dark or bright colors. Walk slow. 15 minute slot is too short and cost is little high. There is a snack shop as well. Ambience is nice. Make sure you are not wearing dark or bright clothes. This will make you wet. Try to walk slowly so sensors can find you.

I loved the instalation really smart and had a great experience, but it's being an stand alone is not great. You get to be in the room gor 15 minutes which is enough but the facility needs something to hold the audience for at least one or 2 hours. Would have been better if there was something happening near it.

Very nice experience. Easy online booking. Once you reach there, you will be guides to the rain room. You have only 15 min time but it is more than enough. Just need 1-2 min to walk thru the Rainroom and have enough time for Fotos. Our kids loved it but got very wet. Take changing clothes for you and your kids. Even if you walk very slowly you get a bit wet.

Fun experience especially for kids. It's literally a room with rainfall and you need to walk slowly through it to activate the sensors that prevents water from falling on you.Kids ran of course and got all wet so make sure you carry extra clothes.Fun experience but limited time slot so make the most of it.

  • 4/5 Ali M. 3 years ago on Google
Place is cool for pictures but it's a one time thing. We were surprised that no DSLR cameras were allowed eventhough it's a place for pictures lol. Makes zero sense... Also I brought an umbrella with me as a prop and we were told very tensly by one of the staff thats its not allowed... weird also. Try to go in off peak times as you might go in with a bunch of people that would just hog the middle spot and won't let go. Ticket offers for students and seniors available. Book online in advance.

If you have a bunch of kids around you and if you want to have unlimited fun and excitement in 20 minutes time, head to the Rainroom in Sharjah. A gem of a place which brings entertainment to a new heights. The place is managed very professionally and crowds are not allowed at once. Very few people are allowed at any one time. All age groups can have equal fun in this venue. The entry is a bit expensive, however when you experience the rain room it can be justified once or twice. There is nothing else inside and if you are taking a camera or if you are wearing any expensive personal effects which could get affected with water, I would recommend them to keep them away before you enter the rain area. It is a 20 minute non stop fun for little kids. Once can

Very pretty, but here are some tips - the sensors work best front to back rather than side to side; when taking a picture of your friend, position them so the light is striking them from behind, so your camera has a chance; and those 15 minutes run out quickly, so make use of them fast!

A very Unique and needed concept. It is indeed a great experience, especially when enjoyed with Family. We had a gala time as it was a welcome feeling as well as enjoyable as it was Raining in UAE! I would like to place my 'Thanks' to the Emirates of Sharjah for allowing a thoughtful and needed place. The Rain room is a must go for Family members at least once a month. And my advice to all the elders and KIDS like me is to simply freak out and get drenched even though you have the option to remain dry by simply being careful. Carry a change of dress and simply go back to your childhood!

Amazing place! Worth the visit for one of a kind experience. The main highlight is walking through rain without getting wet! Yes, that's right. How is it possible? You have to be there to experience it yourself. I believe there are only 2 of these currently in the world. One is here is Sharjah and the other one in in Los Angeles.

This is a nice place to visit. It is just a rain room, so you are in there for about 10/15 minutes. If you don't live in Sharjah, I wouldn't drive all the way here just for this but if you can plan a day to do other activities like kayaking, and going to some restaurants then add this to the list as well. A very peaceful and calming exhibit.

The Raining Room is a must-visit and the absolute gem is Faisal, where his passion for creating a delightful experience is truly commendable. Faisal went above and beyond to ensure our visit was not just enjoyable but extraordinary. The extensive knowledge he have about the exhibits and the way he explained each aspect added a layer of appreciation to the entire experience. His friendly and helpful demeanor made us feel welcomed, turning a regular visit into an extraordinary adventure. If you're planning a trip to the Raining Room, I hope you find someone like Faisal who is the person who will make it truly exceptional with his expertise and warm hospitality.

Totally loved it! You only get 15 mins so book consecutive time slots, if you love playing in the rain. We had more fun running through and getting drenched😃 Parking available for visitors at no charge and advanced booking is required.
