Really interesting place to understand how people lived before and how important the sea is. I bought a ticket that costs 25 AED to Aquarium and this Museum was for free because of the aquarium ticket. This museum is located next to the Aquarium, thus, it’s very convenient to visit this place. Inside you can see a lot of kinds of ships. Likewise, there are a very exiting sculptures and old items in there. I would definitely say yes - you have to visit this interesting place to extend your knowledge about Gulf culture.

Small as it just covers just one floor. Quite informative about UAE trade culture in pearls and fishing practices. Neat and clean and worth a visit on a weekday.

The museum is small, yet interesting place. It is not big and takes about half an hour to walk through. Some nice photo opportunities but make sure you spend time to read the information on each of the exhibits - there is an even a traditional recipe that is shared. A cute little coffee shop and a small little shop is available. Tickets are about 30 Dirhams per person and that includes access to the aquarium.

It is located in al Khan area and one ticket can allow access to Sharjah maritime museum and Sharjah aquarium. It has a lot of details on marine history and heritage, and good to understand on the customs of earlier Sharjah’s residents. Lots of informations on maritime trade & how they lived in marine life such as maps, ancient boats & artifacts. Amazing displays and entire history of wooden dhows, including a full-size pearling boat, along with informations on fishing and diving equipment/tools. Well maintained, well lit and make it interesting to move around everywhere. Availability of WiFi makes it more easier to research more than the key descriptions which are mentioned. Great place for culture & art lover or simply a place who likes to explore.

The museum has a two galleries: a small introductory one on how the sea influenced life in the UAE and a large one, depicting the seafaring activities of the inhabitants. The gallery has a large number of models of boats, such as the jalbot, sambuk, dhows and the rest. There is plenty of information on how these boats were built and the purposes for which these were used.

It is so nice to come here, especially with family or friends. In here we can see and learn about the ship the boat, the culture of fisherman, the culture of the pearl trading. So it will make us know more about the history of Sharjah as the center of the trading place in the past. The place is not too small and not too big. And the price is also cheap, just 25 for 2 places, Sharjah maritime museum and Sharjah aquarium. There are a lot of information about all the things or the miniature that we can find. Also there is small space for reading some books. Also there is playing ground area for children, outside the building. But there is no attraction that can improve the vibes. I wish next it will be better. Overall i love it
