I have nothing but praises to this beautiful natural island. The ambience, the food and the staff most of all are all amazing! The ticket price is cheap for this place even the cost of their food is surprisingly affordable as well. Mark who served us the food is so kind to even give us a little information about the island. If you spend from morning til night you will never get bored. Best to visit the butterfly house in the mornings as they are active. View their romantic light features at night. Happy to have visited with my family. What a way to enjoy our weekend!

Al Noor Island is a nice place to go. The best time to visit will be in the evening. Choose a time when you can experience both daylight and nightlight 😊. So that you will have an amalgamation of birds chirping and sunset. Both time gives you different experiences. It is a self guided tour and also charges 30 or 35 and extra for butterfly house which will be closed at night. Night vision is filled with beautiful light works which is a feast for our eyes. The dark pathways gives another feel at night with mysterious birds (mostly sleeping and restless myna, crows, and sparrows) and trees on the go. We enjoyed our evening visit. Planning to Explore more at daytime 🥰.

I had a very nice and peaceful visit at AlNoor island 🏝️ I liked the fact that it is a natural island, it's very beautiful green area/forest to walk and explore. There are many little spot with things to see, surrounded by the water all around, it's a beautiful view of the city. I really like visiting in here. Stopped by the café also which was nice. Looking forward to come visit during the evening as I've heard there are some nice colorful lights ✨✨

Beautiful and full of greenery, although man made but really a refreshing place to visit with kids. Various kinds of plants and trees are grown there which is interesting. The best season to visit is winter season. There are multiple small attractions are there. Two pieces of Fossil rocks which as per the information mentioned, one of the rock is from Brazil dated approximately 300 million years. A butterfly garden where different kind of butterfly species are there and good attraction for kids. A walking trampoline, and although it is mentioned that do not jump on that but people do not care :) Adult entry ticket is 50 AED and kids upto age of 12 are charged 30 AED per children.

Nice walk through the greenery next to the sea. It's a short'ish walk on the island surrounded with trees and flowers, there are also few attractions along the way. There is a calming swing overlooking the sea, and there's a short trampoline path next to the sea which is fun to cross. Also, there's a small butterfly house which has the nicest staff. They kept bringing butterflies on their hands for us to hold. Note: they have 20% off discount on Fazaa card.

So beautiful and fun! The grounds are well maintained and green. It includes an obstacle course park, trampoline pathway, garden maze and butterfly garden. It was a great way to spend a few hours outside in perfect winter weather.

Nice place to visit. Small and good. Also there is a small Butterfly garden. Any one can finish roaming in 1 to 1.5 hours. Just park your vehicle near Al noor Mosque (paid parking) and get ticket from there itself and walk to the island through a lovely bridge. Must visit place. Ticket price is 35dhs for adults and 20dhs for Kids.

A very good place to spend in the evening hours. The place is open till 11 am on weekdays and 12 midnight on Fridays. But the butterfly house inside (which has separate ticket) courses at 6pm on all days. 1 hour before sunset is ideal time to visit here. Its like a stroll through a heavily congested forest area. The beauty of the place is different in daylight and at night. So visiting 1 hour before sunset is the best way to enjoy both. In summers, the heat is less compared to actual outside temperature here. Be prepared to carry water with you to avoid dehydration. Children's play area for route climbing is available. Also jumping trampoline is available free of charge for both kids and adults. It is worth a visit atleast once.

Al Noor Island is a beautiful and tranquil island, has lush greenery, stunning views, and variety of attractions. The island is home to the Butterfly House as well as variety of birds. There is also a Children's Play Area, a Book Pavilion, and a Cafe. A great place for photography. Has a beautiful view at night as the entire place is fitted with colorful lights.

Noor Island is good peaceful place to spend time with family on weekends, gives a natural feeling of forest with birds and their sounds, It would had been more good if the beach shore is accessible for visitors with lots of benches or chairs. Its a place where you can take lots of photos with your loved ones. Over all nice experience 4/5

A great place for family and kids. The island is kind of smaller than many parks in Dubai or Sharjah but has much greenery. A little crowd will make the place full. The kids will enjoy the place for sure with adventure ropes play area and trampoline, butterfly park and paid coloring sections. Overall a good place to enjoy!

Great place to have an event! I attended a birthday party here and enjoyed surveying the glowing garden in the dark. However, was not able to have a look at the butterflies as it was already evening :( Make sure you visit early to enjoy the butterfly garden! The kids enjoyed drawing activities, The staff was helpful, especially Mark who entertained us. Also, if you are planning an event, Do not forget to give them the right amount of guests you are expecting or you will face a shortage of food.

We went on a Saturday morning and had a wonderful time. The butterfly house was small, but just big enough for my two toddlers to enjoy walking around, chasing butterflies. There was plenty for the kids to see and do. It felt like we were exploring in a forest. My only wish is that they had a better playground for little ones. It's more of an obstacle course of ropes and my kids were too little. But we will definitely be going back. Also, great value for money.

This green paradise in the heart of Sharjah definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff was very helpful and polite, facilities were very clean and the whole island was filled with greenery. We also visited the Butterfly House, located in the Al Noor Island and my little daughter was fascinated by the massive and beautiful butterflies. Lots of activities for every aged people to be entertained. There is playground area, a literature area for people who want to read, A butterfly area to enjoy the varied kinds an how they eat, selfie point area with egg oval shaped sculpture. This is not enough wait until night creeps on with all the enchanting lighting happening on the trees which is the only light to walk on the path. The beautiful sunset is a much watch on this island.

    1) Nice place to visit in winter season only. 2) ticket is better to buy online from any website which offer lesser cost. ( adult person 35 aed is minimum ticket cost for per head ) 3) despite online ticket your are bound to stand in Q, which is disappointing. 4) nice garden before entrance for relaxation 5) ample of paid parking available.

A beautiful place for nature lovers, itis like stepping to a different dimension in the middle of jungle, really long walking distance with different nice tips of informations here and there. It was fun for me and my 2 kids. It was a Rainy day when i went there. So it was double fun. Very friendly staff. The food in the cafeteria can use some improvement.

Very beautiful man-made island . There is ticket to enter the island . They have different packages . I took with butterfly garden . And 50 / head for adults and I guess 35 for children. Very nicely done . Looks like dense jungle. They have various activities for children . Rope climbing, maze with plants , jumping etc. They also have various variety of trees and plants and also cactus 🌵 garden . They also have a restaurant inside with very reasonable prices . You can easily spend 2 to 3 hrs exploring the island . Overall Very nice experience. Only for me ticket price felt a little bit higher.

A must visit Place for all Nature lovers! Have crossed Majaz Corniche many times, but never noticed a hidden Island there. Went with Parents and Kids without any expectations. Was confused while buying tickets (Tariffs mentioned below) as I don’t have any Idea what are we going to see. I must say, it was really worth and we had very nice time because of it’s Beauty! We enter around 0300pm on Friday and returned around 0600pm (about 3 hours). As mentioned, it’s beautiful alongside calm and well maintained. Definitely your kids may feel like they are inside a Jungle & with some add on Show pieces (as seen on pics) Get all your Photography Gears as there are many nice spots. (Pics I posted are taken with Iphone only 😉) Suggestions: If you don’t have any other plan on evening, would suggest to enter between 3-4pm so you can enjoy both day & night. It wasn’t that crowded on Friday though would recommend to visit on weekdays. Butterfly Garden was not that worthy if there is no kids with you. Tariffs: Entry Fee: Adults AED 35.00 & Kids (Above 3) AED 25.00 Butterfly garden entry fees AED 15.00 for Adults and AED 10.00 for Kids should be paid additional.

Drove all the way from Dubai to see this island, and it was totally worth it! Lovely designed areas, kids section was very nice for my 8 year old but not for my 3 year old, i wish they would have considered smaller kids. Cafe is nice and reasonably priced, the walk around the island is magnificent

Great place to enjoy the nature. So impressed with all the integrated elements, big and small. From the beautiful greenery and "the dropped into a lush forest" experience filled with gorgeous butterflies at the butterfly house to the maze, fossil rock exhibits and other art installations all around the island. Hats off to the government and the Al Noor Island team for protecting the natural flora that existed on the island and turning this desert island into a little green paradise. Since most of the experience is outdoors its best to visit during good weather.

I recently visited Al Noor Island, and it was a delightful experience 🥳🤩. The ticket pricing is reasonable, with adults at 50 AED and discounts for children and seniors at 30 AED. The staff at the entrance were exceptionally helpful and even assisted us in choosing the right tickets 😊. I recommend exploring the island independently 🙋🏻‍♀️, as a guide isn't necessary. One of the highlights of the visit was the butterfly home 😃, which offers a captivating experience 🤠. It's worth noting that it closes at 6pm, so plan accordingly. My favorite spot on the island was the swing 🥰, which provides a picturesque view of the sea and the city. It's a perfect place to unwind and enjoy quality time. Overall, Al Noor Island is a fantastic destination for a relaxing and enjoyable day out. 🏙️

Al Noor Island, Sharjah 🏝️ A picturesque oasis in the heart of Sharjah, Al Noor Island offers a serene escape with stunning city views and lush surroundings. Highlights include a vibrant Butterfly House, captivating art installations, and the enchanting OVO light display at night. Key Points: - Great spot for photography with beautiful scenery. - Butterfly Garden was having very less collection and not much colorful butterflies were there. - Ticket prices felt a bit high, but online sites offer discounted price. - Limited resting space, and outside food and drinks are not allowed. Overall, a recommended experience with beautiful attractions, though improvements in butterfly presence and amenities are suggested.

Beautiful island that makes us feel closer to nature. definitely worth the ticket price. It's a perfect spot to carry out photoshoots so make sure to carry your camera and no need to worry about snacks or dinner as the cafe there has a pretty good menu and a neat feeding room for babies.

Definitely worth going. Visit the butterfly house between 10 AM and 4PM. That's when they are the most active. Some of them are really friendly and you can even hold them on your finger. Make sure to only touch them from their legs and not their wings. The other stations are also very interesting.

Its a huge Island specially for those who love nature and enjoy quite surroundings. To be honest it doesn't have much other than plants and a sea view. However we went to see butterfly garden, and loved it. I personally feel it should be included in the ticket and not priced separately. Not have much activities for kids other than a jumping area and butterfly garden Ticket price for Island = 35 Aed Butterfly garden= 15 Aed Kids under 3 are free.

It has a beautiful bridge connecting it to the Al Noor island. There is pretty much nothing to do in the island other than the visiting the Butterfly park. It had 4 varieties of Butterfly when we visited and it was fun taking pics with them. Not value for money. Instead we can visit the Dubai Butterfly Garden.

Amazing place to relax and bond with nature! Best for families. The kids would really enjoy the place. Even us adults were greatly fascinated by the butterflies. The swing has a nice view of the city. It’s like another realm in the middle of a busy urban world. The sound of the birds chirping gives you this sense of relaxation. The cold breeze eases any tension and the green surrounding takes the stress away. Hopefully they will maintain the serenity of the place and complete the other structure like the pavilion. Will definitely come back here again! 😊

Near to Buhaira Corniche. A lot of trees and birds. No sounds of city. Not much rush. Spend time in the night also, they have some good lights. Don't expect much area for kids, like parks(I believe I didn't missed any secret spot). Kids will enjoy the trampoline path and if your kids loves adventure, try the play area with ropes. They have some collection of trees and fossil rocks. Give a try in the maze garden. Carry water and snacks. Public parking available. I didn't tried the butterfly house, so can't comment.

This island is a very good day out for kids and even adults, we could easily spend a good 5 to 6 hours in here, the ambience is amazing, the landscape is great, you will feel very much relaxed in here, the preferable time to visit is somewhere around 3 PM where you can stay till after sunset and witness the day and evening when the lights are on and it looks different and even more beautiful with lights, be aware that the butterfly house closes at 6 PM but the rest of the island stays open. It is indeed a very maintained and very clean island. There is an obstacle park where your kids can do the climbing and cross the hurdles, they will really love it. The trampoline walk was fun for both kids and adults as well. I personally felt that the ticket price of AED 50 is slightly expensive, if it was a little lower we would visit more often, but for now we will just keep it as a one time thing.

Wonderful place to visit in Sharjah with the marina walk experience. They have got a beautiful mosque and a big park before the entrance. Take the ticket from the entrance gate and walk through the bridge to a beautiful world. Butterfly park is the main attraction. Kids would enjoy. You could walk through the island which has got plenty of lights and hidden speakers to enjoy the forest music. Plenty of plants to enhance your visionary experience. Many domes and seating arrangements. Clean toilets are also available. There is a cafe near the butterfly park.

Considering the ticket price of Aed 35, this is one time watchable. Need to pay Aed 15 extra for entering inside butterfly house else you can watch the butterfly from outside glasshouse. But for the kids I'm recommending to go inside the glasshouse to feel the live experience of butterfly. You can enjoy the beauty of sharjah from the island and they designed the island in a artistic way. The best timing for the exploration is 1 hr before the sunset. So you can enjoy the beauty of island in daylight and artificial light. Their lighting arrangements are super. It would better if they made arrangements to sense the water surrounding island .

This is the one of the greenest Place I have seen in the entire UAE. Inside u will get the feeling of forest. It is a really clean place. The walkway is paved with woods. It is a nice place to spend time with your family. If U have good photographic skills, I would recommend you to pack your bag and visit the place in the evening. Entry fee is AED35 for island is worth for a one time visit and another AED15 for butterfly garden (which is interesting for children, not a big one like in Dubai).

Al Noor island 🏝 is good to visit with family but prefer to visit in the evening to see light 🚦 effect. Butterfly 🦋 park is small and good. More than island we loved the park outside near corniche. Good to spend with family kids and friends.

Paid attraction approx AED30/person to walk around island. Be sure to pay for 2 hours parking as children took time at the playground and butterfly garden. Some areas are closed due to COVID and/or maintenance. Try coming at different hours of the day e.g. morning and sunset to experience different light settings.

Flagship Sharjah tourism destination. If you manage to look past the ridiculous pricing, you will enjoy your visit. Bufferfly house is a max 10min activity, walk around the island another 30. If you haven't walked the Sharjah waterfront before, do that for free, if you're for a second visit then I recommend paying for the privilege.

Beautiful Island ❤ The ticket was 35 dhs and they had a summer promotion we could enter the butterfly park with the same ticket. Beautiful island, very very very clean, very professional, sweet and polite staff. It is definitely worth a visit. A lot of picturesque places and a lot of education in the form of an island ❤ Must go 👌

The butterfly house was the main reason to visit and it was nice experience you’ll be able touch and see all kinds of butterflies and they will flew over you 😍and maybe lucky to have a stop over your head 🤪, but we found undiscovered raw nature and beach view during the sunset is unique but not allowed to be near to it. definitely would go again in the winter :))

Small place but a nice effort to have something like this - 'so green' thriving in such heat. Couldn't see the butterfly park this time as it closed at 6:00 pm; will be able to comment about value for money only after visiting that- might have to increase the rating then from 3 to 4 then 😋

  • 1/5 Abir D. 2 years ago on Google
Its more of a hype than anything is what I felt. You pay AED 35 to enter without the butterfly park access for which u pay another AED 15 and then what do u see literally nothing. The entire island is smaller than some of the community parks itself and all that is there are some trees, bushes, grass and a wooden pathway across the island, thats it. There isn't even dustbins around, nothing for kids to do, no where proper to sit and u need to pay for parking separately. I will definitely recommend that unless u have money to waste and are looking to go to someplace different for only a walk in the park dont waste your money.

Amazing experience! Brilliant piece of natural conservation. Kudos to Shrooq. A must visit place, especially during the winter months to be able to enjoy every nook and corner, full of great pieces of nature as early as 300 million years old . Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff special mention about Mark who went beyond our expectations to educate us with his quizzing and pictures about the history of the Island and the all its sections, installations and elements. The icing on the cake was the butterfly garden section which boasts of some of the rarest species of butterflies. All in all a great way to spend your time with your families and friends , enjoying and learning hand in hand.

It's a good place to visit once. There weren't many butterflies in the garden but we got to see few. Also we got to take photos as butterflies were sitting on u quite frequently. Other attractions are fun as well for kids. It looks lovely when the lights come out.

A great place to go and spend the day, can get busy over the weekend but not overwhelming. The area is neat and well maintained, with plenty of spots to snap a great picture. Had never expect such a location in that area.People who love grennary and a walk through the green nature will definitely love this location. This is a hidden gem in between the busy Sharjah urban life. Children will enjoy this location.there is play area for kids. Main attraction is a butterfly garden, alot of variety of spices of butterfly is kept inside a well maintained glass room. There is seperate entry fee for butterfly garden. Butterfly garden timing is up to 6 pm only.

  • 5/5 Master of N. 11 months ago on Google
Stellar place! So underrated, such a peaceful and serene atmosphere.. The dense green cover drops the temperature down by atleast 15 degrees.. So you can hear so many birds chirping at the same time.. So refreshing to hear here in the UAE.. The butterfly garden is awesome, but closes at 6pm..so you better be there before the closing time.. Ticket prices - Entry - 35 aed for adults (20 aed for kids as far as i remember) 65 aed for entry with meal. For Ala carte item + 1 drink. The food was awesome for the price and the host Mark is extremely friendly. The swing offers a beautiful view of Sharjah's skyline and the trampoline is good fun. One thing that didnt make sense is that you still have to stand in ticket queue even if you purchased the ticket online.. Weird!!

Its a very fun place to visit. One of the family-place to visit in Sharjah, a self-tour island. Al Noor Island has butterfly house inside. You can play with the butterflies inside. And its place to visit when you miss the feeling of being with nature. The place is full of trees and sounds of the birds. They have sitting areas too. And we had fun at the trampoline passage. This is not only for kids but for thr kids at heart too. A must visit this place for family and friends. The kids and adults will really enjoy what the Noor Island can bring.

I recently visited Al Noor Island, and it was a delightful experience. The ticket pricing is reasonable, with adults at 50 AED and discounts for children 30 AED. The staff at the entrance were exceptionally helpful and even assisted us in choosing the right tickets. I recommend exploring the island
