Sunday
4th
July,
we
ordered
a
music
box
from
Centerpoint
Abu
Dhabi
online.
It
was
meant
to
be
a
birthday
gift
for
a
friend
(whose
birthday
is
today,
7th
July),
and
we
checked
the
date
of
delivery;
it
was
mentioned
it’ll
be
delivered
by
Tuesday,
6th
July,
and
so
we
ordered
it.
However,
on
5th
July,
at
around
8PM,
we
checked
the
order
status,
and
it
showed
“Order
rejected
by
customer”,
which
we
could
very
certainly
say,
we
hadn’t
done.
We
called
the
customer
service
and
spoke
to
a
guy
who
said
the
message
was
auto-generated,
and
that
our
order
will
be
delivered
and
the
status
will
be
updated.
We
were
not
satisfied
by
his
response
because
how
can
a
system
have
an
auto-generated
message
as
such?
It
was
bizarre!
They
said
they
do
not
have
any
control
over
the
delivery
service,
as
the
courier
company
was
responsible.
Being
the
customer,
we’re
not
concerned
about
their
third
party
arrangements.
We’ve
ordered
something
and
expect
to
get
it
on
time.
We
waited
until
the
next
day,
but
the
status
hadn’t
changed,
so
we
called
customer
service
again,
the
next
day,
6th
July,
only
to
be
told
the
same
thing;
that
it’s
an
auto-generated
message
and
our
order
will
be
delivered
on
time.
We
insisted
to
see
the
updated
message
because
our
order
was
supposed
to
be
delivered
on
the
6th,
so
a
complaint
was
raised,
but
other
than
that,
there
was
no
further
notice
and
neither
was
our
order
delivered
to
us.
We
wanted
to
speak
to
a
senior
representative,
but
every
time
they
mentioned
no
one
was
available.
We
were
completely
disappointed
and
called
the
customer
service
again
today
(7th
July),
and
after
talking
to
a
customer
service
personnel,
our
order
had
finally
arrived.
We
quickly
unwrapped
the
box,
only
to
find
that
it
was
damaged.
A
music
box
requires
a
key
to
turn,
so
the
box
starts
playing
music,
but
the
key
was
missing,
and
there
is
no
other
way
for
the
music
to
start
playing.
There
were
also
scratches
inside
the
box.
We
called
customer
service
to
let
them
know
about
it,
but
they
put
us
on
hold
and
disconnected
our
call.
We
are
very
disappointed
with
the
service
Centerpoint
has
provided,
and
ought
to
never
purchase
something
online
from
their
website/app
again,
and
would
not
recommend,
as
it
has
been
a
very
unsatisfactory
experience.
