I've been here 4 years ago last time and when I came 2 days ago nothing seemed familiar!! All is new and it became much bigger and comfortable! Awesome place to eat, drink, dance, play billiard even! Food was delicious 😋 live music was great 👍 people were drunk and happy 😊 really nice place! I recommend!

Have been to McGettigan's a couple of times and recommend giving it a try. It's almost always busy and the atmosphere is great, you can tell everyone is there to have a good time. The food is delicious and portions are fair. Glad that there are a decent amount of vegetarian options. The staff are friendly and professional.

A popular Irish pub that's an institution in JLT. There's a good menu of pub food, whether for a meal or finger food/sharing, and an extensive drinks list from the extensive bar including a decent happy hour. There's various sections with different themes - indoor and outdoor seating, a pool table, TVs, creating an inviting and lively venue, all socially distanced. There's often a live band, loud enough to make conversations difficult inside, but the band is good and it creates the right atmosphere. Overall it's a great place for after work drinks or to catch up with people.

My ratings are based on the food and drink experience. Mcgettigan’s is located inside Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Cluster J, Dubai. It was started in Yr. 2010 and they are known for its live music, comedy, sport and quality food. You can enjoy playing pool and watch your favourite sports while having their scrumptious food. A perfect hangout spot I would say. The guests in Bonnington Jumeirah Lake Towers are in for a treat for sure. Due to the pandemic, they have maintained the safety standards and distancing between the tables. The servers were all suited up safely to serve us. Now the best part is you can take your family too, they can be seated in the non smoking area. Came to know about the Kids eat for free offer which is an ongoing promotion at the moment. So how it works is grown ups can order for a main from their vast variety of options and the kids can choose for a dish from their menu for free. I went on to order Grilled Salmon, it comes along with warm quinoa, sweet potato, edamame, peppers and confit tomatoes. Well the presentation was really amazing and it was really appetizing, since the salmon was cooked to perfection and fresh. My son went on to order the Panko Crumb Fish Finger which comes along with Fries, Lemon and Tartar Sauce. Well he went on to finish it really fast and enjoyed it. I even tried the fish finger, it was crispy and fresh. For the dessert you can order an Ice cream as well. Ended with a hot cappuccino and it was satisfying. All in all the experience was good.

The Ambience was good. There was live band playing with guitar and keyboard and awesome song choices 👌Food was okay. Drink choices was good. If you're going on weekend, the crowd is gonna be huge with a decently long waiting time. So plan accordingly. Valet parking available. No wheel chair accessible entrance. 4 stars because the service was delayed due to huge crowd and less personnel to serve.

Came in the happy hour Sunday evening, was lovely live music, friendly staff, and happy vibes in general. Surely will come back. Just too much of smoking and smokers with no proper ventilation.

One of the best places in JLT and Marina neighbourhood to bring your friends to watch sports events. Huge place comprising several seating areas under one roof. The best part, there are many pool tables available to have fun with your friends. Rates are not so high and food quality is good. It's more busy on weekends so if you're planning to go there on weekends, better book a table in advance.

The newly opened terrace area is quite nice. Looking forward to more of a winter climate so it's bit less warm. But overall pleasant ambiance. There could be a few more people to take orders

Forgot to leave a review . We had a great experience on our first day in Dubai . Had a lovely meal few beers and the staff were so welcoming and warm towards us . I needed cigarettes and the lovely lady got me a pack and threw in a complimentary lighter . Small things like this go along away . Can’t wait to visit again ? Great effort

Great location in JLT, plenty of parking available (ask the guards to open the dedicated parking). The food menu is exhaustive, I'd definitely recommend the Irish Spice Bag, the nachos, the tacos and the fish and chips. Myself & my (pregnant) fiance went to see Gavin James on Friday. The staff were so helpful & even though it was a standing only gig - when I asked for a barstool for my fiance it was no trouble at all for them to bring her one. We really appreciated that!

McGettigan's Irish Pub @JLT, offers the best of everything. The place for a choice of drinks, meals and so on. McGettigan's has everything, in addition to quite a lot more – live games, amusement and the most amicable help around. The bar likewise includes an enormous garden with seating arrangements – ideal for the cooler months. Although, the place was packed both in and out, we did not experience any service related issues. The flat bread pizza was Amazing. Good one overall.

They added a roof at the garden area which is great during summer time. However, the cigarette smoke is way too much, you can smell it upon opening the door. Everything else great. Awesome food, ambiance, service and entertainment.

I really enjoyed the Friday scene.... the party that goes on till late. Great place for Magners lovers and they have pork dishes. I think the promotion are amazing and staff are great. Highly recommended...

It is a very happy vibrant and happening irish pub. Food served is good for a pub Relaxed seating outside and inside is dance floor seating and live music weekends you really need to fetch a place its sloshed parking is a bit of a hassle thats the only issue i guess. Highly Recommended.

Good day to your team My wife and I visited your establishment last week Saturday o watch the rugby and I just wanted to leave a review and say what an absolutely lovely time we had. From the server, to the cold beers to exceptionally delicious food and the atmosphere assured that we stay for the after party. We were visiting Dubai and realised we would miss a football match on TV. After a little research we discovered McGettigans JLT was close to where we were staying. I contacted them and booked a table for myself and my husband. It was a popular bar and we enjoyed the game while drinking a couple of beers and eating an enormous plate of food. This is a great place for people to watch sports. The atmosphere was great too.

With the new renovations the place is more spacious and much nicer. The food is pretty good; we had the nachos and I had the signature burger which was delicious.

It is a nice place. Now you have to purchase a 50 AED food voucher at the entrance. You can use the voucher towards food items but not alcohol drinks.

I was there with a large group of friends yesterday for brunch and we had an amazing time. Food selection and quality was great, the same with drinks. And a special thank you to Edwin, our server, who kept up with all of our orders for hours, and always with a smile.

Friday Brunch Irish Experience The place and environment was nicely unexpected! With live entertainment and a host making you feel that you are literally in an Irish bar, with competitions and prizes to go for. Brunch is fairly priced given the options available (read the description in the pictures to know what I ordered). Great to go with your family or a group of friends. There is a non smoking area so that was perfect!! Best way to start your weekend with great vibes 🎈✨

We planned first time for this place for Friday brunch. So visited this place. As it was Friday as usual it was crowded. So in brunch I can say have very limited option of the drinks & common brand or drink is Heineken & if we are talking about shots also not available in the same. So if you need different beer or need shots you have to pay separately for that. In menu of brunch they have some options available for snacks which never came to our table. Now lets come to the food buffet again i can say much variety or options but still manageable with drinks.

The McGettigan's Irish Pubs in Dubai are really well done. There is a great range of drinks, the food menu is great and the service is second to none. I have visited this location many times over the years, and have never been disappointed. It is good for meeting up with friends for a drink, watching major sporting events, or for some nice food. They have a brunch which is also great and tiered depending on what you want. The outdoor seating area is really nice.

Exceeded Expectations.. We walked in thinking it would be difficult to get a table on a weekend but the minute we got in, we were taken care by their friendly staff. Though the place was almost packed, the team arranged a table for us. The entire place was compliant to the social distancing norms which actually got us all comfortable... and then there was no looking back. Music was good and so was the ambience. Had a very good time! We will definitely be back for more..

We, a group of 6 people planned to spend weekend at Mcgettigans expecting a bash as it was Mcgettigans 10th anniversary.and guess what, we got what we wxpected. We ordered 3 bucket of beers sling with cocktail s followed by starters. Trust me every minute spent was worth it .The end of the week approaches Thursday afternoon and you look forward to sundowners! No better place than McGettigans JLT. You are greeted by at reception and a warm word of welcome for every customer. You reach your seat and Jenny offer you your favorite beverage with happy hour prices. In these difficult times the staff and team deserve thanks for the measures they have taken to keep everyone safe. This is my favorite venue in Dubai and I have no hesitation in recommending a visit for sundowners or any time.

Good place to come whilst in Dubai to watch live sports, they have a dedicated sports area to watch. The bar itself has different areas to sit, all of which provide a difference ambience which is good. I haven't tried the food yet, drinks only but il definitely be returning in the near future.

I went to the reception and was greeted with a blank stare and a feeling of I didn't belong there (first time in my 38 years on planet earth). I walked back up their very long staircase and went back to my hotel. While waiting, the waitresses smiled and welcomed other patrons, taking them to seats... I don't plan on going back to this place.... they do have Guinness on tap though, and I can't say no to that if someone ever invites me.

Was here for a corporate event. The inner room needs a little TLC as a corporate event venue but is just right for most crowds. Our guests didn't care much since they were here to watch India vs. Pakistan. The staff were extremely supportive and on point when it came to service. The brunch menu was of a higher quality and better choices compared to some of the 5* event venues we've been in. Happy guests mean happy hosts.

McGettigans is always a great place to catch up with friends over a drink. They also have great facilities to watch all the sports whether it be F1, Rugby, Footballs, Tennis etc with an all new large screen in the beer garden and multiple smaller screens to catch from any angle. Food is excellent pub food and service is always top notch! Pork Belly Popcorn is a must try!

Wasn’t actually bad, and their pricing is very reasonable. A friendly quiet environment, more family oriented. Nothing extravagant but good for a catch-up with friends. Once you wanna smoke you will have to head out of the restaurant.
