Went there for quick drinks with my husband. The staff is sweet and service quick. We got shrimp popcorn and then avocado mango salad. Both were good. We got Hoegaarden on the tap. The bar is pretty from the inside and great to just hang out.

I had Rum & Coke and the Wagyu Beef Chili Nachos. I can recommend it.

Great view of the Burj Al Arab! Delicious chicken wings and great service… 🌸 definitely worth a stop when visiting the Madinat Jumeirah souk. They had happy hour every day except Saturdays from 3-9 when we were there, sadly we were a bit early, but something to consider when visiting.

If you're looking to have a great time with good vibes, Mcgettigan's is the place to go. I can't stop coming back here. Precious the host have been a great part of the reason I come back...she ensure all my orders are correct and the very on time service is amazing for sure will be back again and again... the food is amazing and service out of this world... 🥂

Lovely bar. But incredibly expensive. Not personal against the bar. Just Dubai in general. £9.05 for a beer in happy hour. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't expect a euro a beer like Benidorm, but come on £9.05 for a pint of Heineken in happy hour. Wow

Located inside the Hilton JBR, this restaurant and bar is always busy with tourists and local residents. A place to get a drink, enjoy Irish cuisines, watch some sports while listening to some trendy tunes. Check for some specials and events on its websites.

Nice bar with comfy plush seating music and sports screens. Good service all round from very polite and attentive staff. I know it’s a bit Brits on Tour but they have a great pint of Guinness. A tad pricey but that’s Dubs for you. Highly recommended for a break from the heat and a taste of home comforts.

Great food and excellent staff. This place has become a regular spot when I'm in JBR; which is the best part of DXB to stay. Jyoti was quick to offer recommendations and to move us to better tables once they opened up. Quick & friendly service, solid comfort foods and refreshing drinks. McGettigan's JBR is a nice place where me and my friends had fun. This is an amazing bar to go with friends and special someone and the food is great. We liked the personality of one of your personnel, Precious, she is an accommodating and congenial host. You did an appreciable doing in hiring such a pleasing company employee most especially an Asian individual.

Lunch. My wife ordered the lunch deal, it was good value, nachos big serving and tasty. Her bangers and mash were ok. I ordered fish and chips from the alacarte menu, it was terrible. Mushy soft fish, soft batter, lukewarm potato wedges, overcooked mashed peas. For an Irish pub to get this house favourite so wrong is inexcusable. Service is good. Good prices for beers. I would recommend trying other dishes to check if they are better. Nice place to watch sports and gather with friends.

"Maid" Marion was a superstar at the head of this awesome team. Jyothi was our great waitress who was funny, informative and made us make good informed decisions - the all-day breakfast was excellent value for money including the 3 drinks ;) we added Sticky Toffee Pudding + Ice-Cream at the end---WORTH IT. THANK.YOU guys - we will be back. An incredibly laid back with great food and ambience - plus highlights of sports on the many many tele's. AWESOME CRAIC!

Went to watch the football and for happy hour, had a great time and plenty of staff to keep the drinks flowing. Phoned to book in advance which was good as it did get busier with football season in swing now.

The service and support from the staff was unparalleled to anything I have ever seen, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all for a memorable experience 👍 Keep up the good work and I look forward to visiting again in the coming weeks and months.

Very pleasant pub where we enjoyed watching the UK football on multiple screens. To its great credit this is a NO SMOKING venue which is a pleasure to find in Dubai, so for us, scores highly in this respect. The service was excellent, as you'd expect. Though the non-smoking is a big plus, the main reason that I have to hold off giving it 5 stars is the pricing. To be fair, they do offer a 50% 4 hour 'happy hour deal' without which it would really be horrendous, but even so it's a class act at daylight robbery! Just go between 4 and 8pm and get a big beer, and it's not too painful. Updated on re-visit March 2021 Still overall a favourable smoke-free environment. Enjoyed a good pork bacon and sausage full cooked breakfast

Fantastic service. From start to finish. You can tell the beer is well treated behind the scenes. The Beer and platter combo deal was amazing. Warm welcome and a heartfelt goodbye. I shall be coming back for sure.

A very busy and noisy place - no wonder - just in the middle of Dubai's The Walk area. Live music too loud - prevents from a seamless conversation at the table. Yet a very good place to watch a EPL match. Miss Kenya amongs the service staff. Some waiters attentive, some not - pretending to be always top busy and waving hands does not always help. Good rose wine.

Loved this place friendly efficient staff great atmosphere can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there however it all looked good. It was my birthday on our visit and I am not sure how they knew but they bought me a cake out complete with a candle and song this was a lovely surprise and very thoughtful 😊 thanks for your hospitality we will definitely visit again if/when we return to Dubai x

But the food wasn’t great except for the fries and of course the drinks. Since i eat only chicken. The menu had only a few options and to my surprise they dint have even those dishes available. My first visit just a few days ago. Very positive experience. Good selection of drinks and food. Especially, l like the clean air inside the pub.

Great to see this mcgettigans is smoke free! Breakfast deal is great- small fry up with 3 pints for 129 including Guinness. Though there isn't really any difference between the large and small breakfast. Staff were attentive and friendly. Opens at 10 which is earlier than others and offers a relaxed environment.

Just back from a fabulous holiday in Dubai. Stayed on JBR and fell in love with McGettigans JBR!! Not only is it a fantastic 'No Smoking' bar (few and far between in Dubai) but the atmosphere is second to none. There was even a pub quiz midweek and a great live band singing a variety of music. The food is also wonderful, their signature wings went down a treat with my husband!!! Also the manager Liam was so helpful and friendly each time we visited, he even managed to find us a Dubai map and give us some tourist advice on the sights to see. Definitely recommend this bar and hopefully we will be back soon!
