Went here first day and the night was a success until the last minute when it left an unpleasant experience. I was a guest here and booked the hotel etc. It was my second day and was spending time for a few days. After the night closed and time to head out to my room; of all the night revellers he stopped me and asked if I had a passport and if I had registered to get to the hotel. There's nothing as distasteful as being profiled in Dubai especially with the rich diversity. You would expect better.

Great place for food. We had the chicken and bacon sandwich which is pretty much like a club sandwich, potato skins and the dynamite shrimp which I recommend you definitely try.

Great pub in JBR. Has a nice outdoor seating area available with coolers so you can enjoy sitting outside even in this infernal summer heat. The place is cozy and not too loud to have a chat with friends. Although place has live music on Fridays. Not a full band though, an acoustic performance so music does not get too disturbing. Ambience is nice I really enjoyed my night there considering it is nearly impossible to find a decent pub in Dubai which is near Marina or Jbr and does not transform into a full nightclub at 22.00 pm to bleed your ears out. This place is among my top 5 right now. Didn't try the food though, so no comments on the menu. Also has many TV screens with variety of sports. Overall a nice pub where you can enjoy having a few beers with friends or watch sports.

AVOID: I was a guest at the Hotel and on the 28th May, me and my brother wanted to watch the football, Champions League Final. We went downstairs to the pub, had some miscommunication with the bouncer. Walked in and the waiter told us we need to spend 250 dirhams per person during that night. My brother who is 19 and the drinking age is 21+ in UAE, was only able to buy coke, so to go above the spending he would need to buy 10 cokes or fantas whatever. We said ok then we're leaving. The bouncer didn't let us leave because we were already inside and had to spend the 500 dirhams. We sat down and we were there for 1h30m roughly, until the same happened to another family. They made a scene, we made a scene with them and was told we can leave by the manager. The bouncer at the door was holding us back saying we can't leave and he needs to confirm with manager. We waited another 5 mins looking for the manager and then finally they let us out. WE WERE KEPT THERE AGAINST OUR WILL FOR 1.5 HOURS! Disgraceful, it seems like the staff were told about this 250 dirhams per person and couldn't use their own brains to act approprietly. We're absolutely Disgusted.

Excellent, traditional British style pub / restaurant. Outdoor seating with green surroundings. Internally, the decoration included brick finishes and wood - creating the British pub ambience. TV screens with sports. The food was absolutely delicious. A tad on the expensive side, but this is Dubai. Overall a memorable experience.

Actually one of the greatest place av been. Sports area where you can enjoy watching all the matches leagues or tournaments, have some beer and even order some food. Recently got a new look better than before.

Really disappointing service. First time to visit Underground Pub and we were left waiting for about 10 minutes without anyone coming to take an order, so we left. It wasn't busy. Would not recommend. It's a shame as we are neighbours to the restaurant and were expecting good things.

Nice food and great atmosphere of a typical sports bar with many television screens showing different live sports events. Also outside sitting area is very cosy. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Happy hour daily from 6pm to 8pm.

Nice pub to catch up the World Cup match or any another game. They have screens all around the bar, nice pool tables and they offer 2x1 in beers. The reason of 4 stars is the food is average. We had a burger that was dry and very fatty. But the rest was ok.

Place is good. Food just disappointing. Asked for a medium cooked steak and here is what I got in addition of having a very poor quality meat. Mentioned it to the waiter if everything was ok, I showed him the meat. He acknowledged it was not medium cooked and just left and never heard anything again. What is the point of asking if you do not care in the end ? Do not go there for the food, and because you cannot have drinks without food, I will just simply not go there anymore.

Nice little British-style pub in a very convenient area. The free popcorn and pool tables are awesome additions! However, the service can be slow at times and the food options aren’t vegetarian/vegan friendly at all. I would suggest this as a ‘quick-afternoon-drink-spot’.

It is located on the downstairs level of the Habtoor Grand Hotel in Marina. We frequently visit for Saturday lunch as the food is delicious and it has a great vibe! Our favourite menu choices are the pie n chips or fish n chips – each of them are cooked like traditional British cuisine. The service is always on point and it is reasonably priced (and also on the Entertainer app where you can enjoy 2 for 1 on main courses!) Second visit to the Underground Pub and the experience was very good. We had a few cold beers and for food we had the Fish and Chips, Full Rack of Ribs and Shepard's Pie. Everyone one enjoyed their meals and will recommend Underground Pub.

I had been here over the weekend and had the best experience ever! The place as they call is actually 'underground'. Upon entering you'll notice how well it is set up. The outdoors too are very welcoming, but we chose indoors because of the weather. It had a lot of tables and yet mostly occupied. Luckily we had reserved a table. The vibe here was great! There was good music, and soon the live band too started playing. They even had games, we started playing darts till our order arrived. We went with a few drinks along with some nibbles - jalapeno cheese balls, chicken strips and nachos. Cheese balls were a bomb, absolutely loved them! Chicken strips too were super crispy and tasted amazing. Nachos were a bit dry but were served with sauces on side which we poured over and it was all good. Then we had some veg spring rolls and wedges too which also tasted great. We ended out meals with some sticky toffee pudding which was absolutely heavenly. It is something I would keep going back for. All in all, great food and drinks, amazing vibe. Highly recommended.
