Hands down this is the best place you can go to to experience some real authentic Zanzibar food! The mishkaki is so soft and juicy, all their meat is fresh off the grill! Urojo Mix is to dieee for and their signature juice is super refreshing!! Don't miss out on this if you're nearby!

This was an amazing experience. The Urojo soup with the trimmings, the Mbavu (amazing lamb chops) and Passion fruit juice all hit the spot. The flavours were distinct and delicious. Will definitely take friends. On a side note there is a spot next to the restaurant that sells Karak tea in a clay pot, it was excellent for the drive home.

I'd spent the last night in UAE at Mishkaki, and I can honestly the food here trumped all the famous restaurants I'd been to in Dubai. The authenticity of the taste instantly sent me back to East Africa. I recommend all the mishkaki skewers as well as the signature juice to end with!!

This place is tucked away into the heart of Al Jurf 2. We were sent directions by the team who we called earlier on after spotting their ad on Facebook. Place is so tiny so I would advice not to dine in but order and takeaway. The stairs leading to the dining area are so steep and what I would genuinely consider a serious health hazard. The menu was quite elaborate however most of the things were not actually available which was disappointing to some extent. Pilau has to be ordered in advance 🙄.. anyway me and my partner ordered samosa, some lamp chops and tamarind juice (this was nice) the food was ok not as exciting as I expected . Would I go back there? Maybe not but I would recommend it to whoever wants that Zanzibar vibe while out here in the sand pit. Go try !

Mishkaki was tasty, fish catlesi and kachori was yummy....but the mix urojo was not what I expected they can do better.

Let this little place not fool you. It's got the most amazing BBQ/mishkaki in the UAE. They are a newly opened venture with a small menu but they make everything on that menu perfectly. The food takes you back to the amazing street food on the Spice islands of Zanzibar. Please don't miss the camel meat mishkaki, the Zanzibar pizza or the urojo mix. Will definitely be going back. Again, again and again.
