What do you write in a review for a divine place like this? A must visit spiritual place when you are in Dubai. Gurudwara follows all COVID related norms. Entry is from backside i.e. the basement way. Sevadars in Gurudwara guide you all the way and ensure that people use masks, sanitize the hands and maintain social distance.

Timings: 4:30am to 9pm We went there during the day time, everything was peaceful. Easy parking. Lunch and tea were served too. Loved every minute of the visit. There is a church beside which any one can visit.

The construction of the Temples is beautiful. Seems that die to covid the carpets are covered with plastic so I could not admire that part. Definitely planning to return. Specially after the explanation by one of the priest of this Live Style.

Blissfull peacefull soulful- any words used are insufficient to praise any Gurdwara Sahib 😊🙏 Humanbeings have no capacity or mindfulness to praise the Lord or His home. Was yearning to visit Gurdwara Sahib since last 2 years as prayer hours were limited amidst COVID restrictions and it wasn't possible to come all the way from Fujairah during those hours. Even got my COVID vaccination doses in Gudrwara Sewa camp but unfortunately Darbar sahib was inaccessible those times. Fortunately called up Gurdwara Sahib Sewadar today to check if Darbar Sahib is open to devotees now and indeed Guruaharaj listened to my prayers today and got the opportunity to offer sewa today 🙏

Good place, mind relaxing worship place, serving food here, parking available. There is a small fountain and able to take good photos. Need to cover head with towel or cloth, they will provide this to use if you don’t have.

Amazing place to visit for peace in Dubai. Really felt very calm and compose. A good place to recharge yourself. Langar is obviously free and you can also offer your sewa. Very neat and hygiene place, Not crowded at all you can just sit and mediate peacefully nobody will disturb you. Good management as found in every Gurdwara around the globe. You can reach there by taking metro from red line and then change the Metro from Jebel Ali metro station. To Ibn battuta Metro station from there u can take a bus No. F44 just outside the Metro station, cab is also easily available. Get down at the second bus stop and take a right there will be churches, mandir and gurdwara all on the left side. Hope this is helpful to the newcomers😁☺️

The first Sikh Gurdwara in Dubai. A must see. There is also free freshly cooked hot vegetarian food served around the clock to anyone who visits the temple, regardless of faith or beliefs. Need to dress modestly and both men women need to cover their heads in buildings, but this is provided for free.

Sikh temple opened in 2012, with a pool at the front, a grand prayer hall & vegetarian meals. India and the UAE have generally enjoyed cordial relations, partly due to their shared history with the British presence in Asia, and partly due to the pre-colonial history of trade, commerce and settlement between the two nations. Dubai is an Oasis of religious tolerance. Sikhs living in UAE had no common place to gather to worship or celebrate religious festivals or weddings. In Dubai, the Bur Dubai temple and private homes being used for mass gatherings were bursting, prompting community leaders to look into the possibility of building a larger space for worship of the Guru Granth Sahib. They grew from five families, to 10 families to 50 families and it became hard for them to ask the hostess to make 400 chapattis in a day. So they decided that whoever comes brings 10 chapattis, and the hostess would make the vegetables and the dal. Though temporary Gurudwaras had come and gone, the community needed a permanent place of worship. The very thought of building a permanent and official Gurdwara in the heart of an Islamic state was considered nothing short of an Arabian mirage. The push for an official Gurudwara began about 27 years ago. The proposals kept getting knocked back but they did not give up. It was a pleasant and joyous surprise when consent was received from the Council of Imams. To add to the joy and sense of well-being, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE, bestowed a piece of land free of charge, for the Sikhs to build their Gurdwara.

It is a religious and sacred place. It is a Sikh Temple (Gurudwara). All people are welcomed here irrespective of their caste, race, gender or religion. After praying, all people sit together on the floor and eat. This is called 'langar'. It emphasizes the fact that all humans are equal and that irrespective of status, all people eat together on one platform. I am proud to be a Sikh and serve the community. Our gods have taught us to be just and righteous in all ways possible.

It's great temple which is managed very professionally and perfectly clean. The main temple floor is so auspicious that you feel very near to god. On ground floor you get food as Prasad. Thanks

Peaceful place primarily for Sikh religion followers but is open for all without any restriction of caste, creed and color. They also run a langar (free meal kitchen) for anyone who comes. Parking is free and usually available unless there's a big festival going on and so it's crowded. Make sure to wear respectable clothing as it's a religious place.

A place that relates to punjabi culture and keep ur mind fresh and feel harmony and unity in mankind. They provide free food to whoever comes to visit this placeIt is tasty as well. Try to keep a towel with you to cover your head. Otherwise they'll give you the towel but a little hard to tie because material is silky.

Never seen such a slick and span Temple ever . Five star cleanliness . Eatables from outside are not allowed even as gifts . Food is cooked only by certified Chefs . The serving is done from a desk grated place . A proper Dining area with chairs and tables is marked . This should be a benchmark for every other religious place .

Clean and well organized. We went to the Hindu temple first & walked down to the Gurudwara. Prayed first in the hall then went downstairs for a meal aka Langar. Lovely and delicious food too. Humbled to be here.

If you are not feeling low and there's nothing which is working then this is the best place to go.Sit inside the prayer hall(irrespective of religion), just try to close your eyes and observe your breathe. It feels so calm after spending a hour or two here in the prayer hall. Except this, I went once around women's day and got to know that this is the first Gurudwara where everything i.e. every sewa is managed by women for a day including Langar.Quite a nice example of women empowerment.

The gurudwara is open. But it only opens from 9 to 9:30 in the morning and 6 to 6:30 in the evening. Bring your own scarf. Totally following all covid norms... enough gap between people and well managed. No kirtan or sitting in the gurudwara hall allowed and no langar being served. Not even kada prasad... but still you get to do darshan thats more than anything...

December 2023 5* Visited the holy place in Dubai. This Gurudwara is really divine. When I reached, the granthi ki was doing Rehras Sahib. We attended ardas and sought guru’s blessing. Photography is not allowed inside the gurudwara so I seek forgiveness. There is shoe rack inside the building and langer hall. Sadly I could not eat langer but it was guru’s blessing. The gurudwara is so nicely designed. I would say that you get so much positive energy and feelings. The parking space is limited and the gurudwara is located next to Temple.

A must visit place in Dubai. The Holy Granth is worshipped in a very big hall where 500 devotees may be seated at a time.As soon as we enter into Gurudwara a cloth is tied around our head which we have to return while leaving the Gurudwara. After worship free bhojan is served . Chapathi/ Roti, Chawal(rice), dhall,Chenna and Payasam are served. While senior citizens are allowed to dine other dining table , others have to sit on the floor and dine. The dishes are tasty.Adjacent to Gurudwara, Hindu temple and a Church are there. In the Hindu temple various marble deities are there to cover all devotees.
