I
was
part
of
a
wedding
party
that
stayed
at
Ewan
Grand
in
mid
November
2018.
Ewan
Grand
disappointed
on
virtually
every
level.
When
we
checked
in,
half
of
our
party's
room
keys
did
not
work.
Which
meant
we
did
not
have
access
to
our
rooms
for
the
first
few
hours
of
the
day
that
we
were
there.
The
TV's
did
not
work
and
the
one
TV
that
did,
conked
off
in
half
an
hour.
All
requests
to
reception
to
sort
out
issues
took
a
minimum
response
time
of
half
an
hour
to
an
hour.
The
rooms
are
supposed
to
be
serviced
once
every
two
days.
The
first
time
our
room
was
serviced
was
on
our
fifth
day
there
-
for
perspective,
we
checked
out
on
the
sixth
day.
On
the
third
night,
the
main
AC
on
the
ground
floor
began
leaking
water
into
the
downstairs
bathroom.
We
had
someone
come
in
to
check
it
out
only
to
be
told
there
were
no
maintenance
staff
around.
Fair
enough.
However,
no
one
came
in
to
look
at
the
issue
the
next
morning
and
to
my
knowledge,
the
AC
was
still
leaking
on
the
day
we
checked
out.
The
bathroom
tiles
are
stained
and
maintained
to
the
bare
minimum
standards.
The
hotel
did
not
provide
water
dispensers
to
each
villa.
Some
of
our
party
did
receive
them,
but
we
had
booked
multiple
villas
and
there
were
not
enough
to
go
around.
The
backdoor
ranchsliders
did
not
lock
-
in
every
villa
that
we
booked.
Which
meant
we
had
to
leave
our
villas
unlocked
and
unsecured
when
we
left
the
resort.
When
this
was
pointed
out
to
the
maintenance,
we
were
told
not
to
worry
that
they
had
security
on
site
and
nothing
would
happen
to
our
stuff.
Not
good
enough.
Despite
being
requested
hours
in
advance,
floors
in
the
villas
were
not
mopped
until
between
7-10pm.
See
my
above
points
re
response
times
and
servicing
of
the
villas.
Given
the
high
cost,
the
service
was
virtually
nil
and
the
experience
disappointing.
I
would
give
Ewan
Grand
resort
a
miss.
Your
money
is
better
served
elsewhere.
