Dr Tala has been My daughters doctor since she was 3 months old. Never fails to explain what’s wrong and thoroughly checks her every time. It is very difficult to find doctors like him in Dubai, knowledgeable and honest. Really excellent.

My daughter had a serious heart defect on birth. I was looking for long term care for her while she grows. Dr talal name came up. When I met him and how he took care of us was comforting. Dr.Farha Talal is more than a peadtrician. We consider him to be a friend. Our son Callum has been under his care ever since he was born. Although the Somerset Clinic is a bit of a drive from where we live, we would never ever think of switching to another peadtrician in our area. He has our complete trust.

I had severe toothache and saw Dr Sumbal in an emergency on the same day on a Sunday. She saw me really quickly, diagnosed me and prescribed medication. Really good service and went out their way to accommodate me.

Dr Sumbal saw my daughter who is very anxious about dental treatment. Dr Sumbal was patient, supportive, clearly explained the stages of the procedure and paused and helped my daughter rest and recover when she was getting more anxious. The lactation consultant Mrs Prachi was and still is a huge help for me! She was knowledgeable, professional, patient and supportive. She is always available for follow up and responded to any questions promptly, always providing options and being encouraging. With her help I felt a lot more reassured and confident in breastfeeding. I highly recommend her services.

Dr Talal.. what an amazing pediatrician ! This man literally saved my son’s life.. & I will forever be so grateful to have found him.. I brought my son to him for a check up as he had been feeling ill for a couple of days and dr Talal could straight away tell he had pneumonia.. prior to this I had taken my son to a children’s hospital in dubai where they just told me to give him brufen and sent me home.. dr Talal was very quick in handling this situation as my baby’s pneumonia was so severe.. he arranged a bed in a emergency ward & made sure my baby got oxygen straight away.. he even then later came by to the hospital to check on my baby & stayed in touch throughout by emails & phone calls to see how my baby was doing.. before visiting dr Talal, I did a little research online to find the best pediatrician in dubai as my experiences in hospitals & in clinics haven’t been the best.. I had read amazing things about dr Talal, which is why I decided to book an appointment and go.. & I am so happy I did.. if any parent is looking for the best pediatrician in dubai, I would definitely say go to dr Talal.. he makes your child feel so comfortable aswell.. before engaging with the parents, dr Talal makes sure he interacts with the child.. gives them a choice of a lollipop 🍭 & plays with them, he is so calm so even when you want to panic he has this way of calming you down.. the nurses in the clinic are also so lovely & give you the warmest welcome when you enter.. which makes this clinic stand out so much aswell. Very poor experience with Dr. Talal. We went to see him because our daughter had severe nappy rash. After 3 consultations spread over 1 month and spending over aed 3000 on medicines and tests there was no improvement. We then went to City Hospital and were told that all the medicines prescribed were wrong and harmful. Instead all we had to do was dip our daughter in salt water for a week! And it worked. I can’t believe Dr. Talal couldn’t suggest basic remedies like that before making parents spend thousands on unnecessary tests.

Dr. Talal was a delight to visit. My husband and I were quite surprised when Dr. Talal spent the first few minutes of the appointment interacting with our 1 month old son. I haven't seen any other doctor do this. He didn't ask us any questions, he just went straight to our son and started interacting with him, which was great. He also seems knowledgeable and is very patient. His staff is also great and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Dr. Talal.

Improve some facilities

Dr. Talal is the pediatrician for our 2 sons. He is great and gentle with the kids. He’s always reachable when needed which is very important. The service at the clinic in warm and friendly. Highly recommended!

I recently had an exceptional experience with Somerset Clinic in the UAE. As tourists without local health insurance, we faced a nerve-wracking situation when our 11-month-old twins developed acute symptoms like vomiting and high fever peaking at 40 degrees Celsius. To our relief, the clinic scheduled us in almost within an hour of the onset of these symptoms. On two separate occasions, we were attended by Dr. Talal Farha and Dr. Hadi Abdelhadi. I was very impressed with the eye test exam. Using a WelchAllyn vision screener. It uses lights and sounds to help engage the child. Very quick test with printout took 1 minute. Thanks Dr Farha.

I used to take my son to other hospitals that are supposed to be 'professional' however after taking my son to Farha Children's Clinic I will never take my son anywhere else! Dr. Talal Farha is the best children's doctor I have come across in Dubai and would recommend him any day to anyone! He is very good with kids, putting my son at ease every time we are there and he just knows what he is doing unlike many doctors in Dubai whom would just like to see you come back for no reason at all. Farha Children Clinic is by far the best children's clinic I have seen in Dubai, Both Dr Talal and Dr Mukhlis are excellent doctors both as paedatric consultants and within their specialist fields. The rest of the clinic staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Great clinic and welcoming staff from front desk to Dr. Talal. My daughter has a heart problem and we decide to come to him. He took his time to go through all her previous exams and try to understand it, which we appreciate as many others doctors dont. He did a throughout scanning explaining to us everything. He was at all times playing with my daughter she loves him. We will sure continue to go to this clinic. Very convenient and they offer other services and they try to help you with insurance as well.
