Zoo is located about an hour journey from Dubai, you can easily locate it as it’s just by the road. There is a entry fee of 40aed (applicable for adults and children), which is fairly priced. The Zoo is in a wide spread area, part of it is covered with sheets giving the visitors good shade and part of it is open. Electric cars are available for visitors to rent them and stroll around the zoo. All animals are maintained well, they definitely looked like they are fed well and are taken care of in a good way. Many species of animals are at the zoo. Tigers and Lions are maintained very well and find a lot of them here. Avoid mid afternoon time for the visit, as the animals will be sleeping and you will not get a good look at it. Overall good place to take your children and family, zoo gives a relaxing environment and worth the drive.

Me n family spend good time at zoo. Entry fee is 40 AED for all above 03 years of age. There is a small grocery with chips, water bottles and ice creams only. A small toy shop as well. You can drive through(self drive) carts for a rent of 100AED for 40mins. You can have fun without cart as well, there is enough Clean sitting areas and shaded areas which you can njoy n watch animals closely. Animals are taken care off. Very clean n tidy, animals cages are near to each other, so much walking is not required to see all the animals in the zoo. Highlights - 1. Very frndly chimp with his trainer. You can take pictures for cash. (Reasonable price). 2. Crocodiles and alligators are on the other side of the zoo. 3. 🐎 Stable outside the parking area. Cons- eventhough the zoo is clean there are flies which makes bit annoying all over the zoo.

Not worth AED 40 ticket The animals don’t appear to have been cared well - they all look starved and tired. Cafeterias/restaurants inside are all closed and dusty, prayer area is quite worn off and dirty! Check the photos for more details.

Wonderful place for kids to enjoy. Can recommend for 2 hours visit. Staffs are friendly and allowed us to enjoy more.

Nice Zoo, but it needs more work to get better..

We went there today. We were delighted by the petting Zoo at the entrance. The animal looked healthy and well taken care of. But as we walked along and looked at the wild cats, hyenas, etc. We noticed that they all had little pools inside the enclosures but there was no water in it. We looked around for containers with drinking water for the animals but couldn’t see any although they may be hidden out of sight. The animals looked listless and depressed. The enclosures are small and there was nothing to stimulate the animals. What started of as a lovely encounter with the animals ended in a broken heart.

For the price of it, the experience was very poor. I especially do not like the way the animals are kept as there is a lot more comfort that can be given to them. Animals are not seen properly due to the cages. We would like to see an improvement as its good for tourism.

The ticket price is 25 for adults and kids ... kids below 3yrs old is free... Even though the zoo isn't so huge its filled with lots of wild animals including 4-5pairs of tigers and lions bears.... etc and my favourite animal is that orangutan which is very friendly with every one... visiting this zoo is worth it..

Wow. It is one the best zoos in the UAE. It may seem to be small but the animals they are maintaining are really worth to see. There are many of tigers and lions and for that small place which is a great asset. Zoo has been maintained very well. Kids may love watching other animals as well. If you are visiting RAK for any occasion this is one of the must see places.

The zoo has got animals worth watching excluding elephants , giraffes, zebras. There is a provision for horse riding too. But the zoo needs to be more organized by specifying names of animals at designated areas.

Let's say its only zoo in the area and its private one the location is good easy to access and any one can go access to it the price for the ticket 40 aed (11$) in JAN 2021 and the animal was healthy and good shape and sure they got really good care and you will see many lions and tiger but suprizly there is no zebra or giraffe but I hope in future the will get better animal and its good to visit in winter on ther hand you can go stables and ride horse thats was bonus for the kids and there small play area for kids not single restaurant but only snacks

We can see types of lions, tigers and little other animals also.... if u like horse riding, there is a chance for this. And there is crocodiles, hyena, chimbancies, and little birds also... Spend time on feeding Yemu, Camel & Deer, which will be a new experience and take some photos/videos of it.
