The desktop team and the restaurant team are extremely polite and professional but the issues are elsewhere. The hotel hosts live performances shows (cabaret, disco night with dj...), the place open to non guests + really noisy until 2-3am. While Covid rules are implemented during the day, no-one of those external are wearing masks during the evening. Lift is not secured by card. Anyone can go up and down the floors using the lift. Rooftop is very small and also open to external guests. Pool in the rooftop is extremely small,generally filled with kids and was not available during 2 days out of the 5 I was in the hotel. The pool can also be accessible by non guests during the day. 1st floor rooms are very noisy due to live performances taking place in the ground floor.Very bad smell came out from the bathroom and there was no way to get rid of it. Only solution found was to keep AC at 21degrees Celsius while outside we had just 25degrees Celsius. Overall all rooms.need to be refurbished as carpet and walls are in poor conditions.

The advert fails to mention there are TWO nightclubs in the hotel - both of which play music very loudly until 3am. I was on the second floor and I couldn’t sleep without ear plugs. I mentioned to the receptionist about this and to be fair she did offer to move my room, but by the time this happened I was half way into my stay and it didn’t seem worth it. I have seen reviews that mention the nightclubs and the owner’s response is that they will look into it… but clearly they aren’t able to do anything. It seems more emphasis is on the clubs than the hotel, neither of which they mention when advertising the hotel. There was something on the bathroom mirror which looked like blood which I ignored until I looked at the room service menu and noticed there was blood on there too. Not ideal!! The majority of the staff were very nice and welcoming, but some receptionists didn’t quite fit that.

This is probably the first hotel on the Mina Street strip, and it’s age shows in the outdated and pretty much worn out furniture and carpets. While, it is also the most economic hotel in that area, it doesn’t do justice to the Accor chain. Their staff are friendly, but I felt they were not well trained/groomed like the other Accor hotels I’ve stayed at or for that matter like the staff at the nearby hotels like Hyatt Place. The location is nice as it is close to attractions like Dubai Frame , Mercato mall & La Mer; but there is no metro access anywhere close, so be ready to taxi your way around (unless u have your own car) Unless the aircon is turned on, the room builds a bad smell, probably due to the poor drainage, which was obvious as the water would take its time to drain after a shower. Practically every night the housekeeping staff just left the vacuum cleaner and laundry cart in the aisle which definitely is not okay! Their gym is quite alright. But no hand towels there. And speaking of towels, the towels generally smelled BAD! I had to keep asking to change towels. All in all, if you’re going to stay here expecting the Mercure / Accor standards , you are going to be diappointed. But, if you’re on a budget and MUST stay in this area (say you have work at Dry docks which is right behind the hotel ) then you can consider this hotel. Otherwise if you’re not tied to this area, you’ll get plenty of better hotels at the price across UAE.

It was a great value for money stay, I stayed for five days. Rooms were nice and clean. The passage for the room had damp smell. The noise from the nightclubs was heard till late-night 3am every day inside the room, making it difficult to sleep. The reception asking for an extra 200 dihram deposit on arrival even after paying for the 5 days room rent in advance.

Unusual smell in the room( suspect damp) and the bathroom smelled too. Bedding was clean and well presented i suspect its an older hotel. There was a party the night i stayed untill after 2am and the base was thumping throughbmy room. The staff were lovely though and very helpful 😊 the breakfast was good. I did find unusual on checkout the staff check your room to make sure you've not left anything behind( I suspect it's to check you've not ruined the room though).

We booked 2 superior rooms and both rooms have met our expectations based on the amount they are charging. The hotel and its amenities over all was clean, cozy, comfortable, everything we need were available, and all the staff were friendly and accommodating especially Ajit of Reception. Keep it up team Mercure, me and my family will surely be back soon. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing staycation.

DON’T STAY HERE! ❌ SMELLY BATHROOM: Awful smell from the sewer. I had to keep the bathroom door closed all the time. I called the receptionist but they only sent a housekeeper who came with a surface cleaner?! LOUD HOTEL: There is a party till 3am and even though I was on the 4th floor, I was able to hear the music and bass was banging on my head. Not possible to sleep without ear plugs. SMELLY ROOM: Smelly and humid rooms. The furniture is old and ruptured. Even the AC can’t cool down the room properly because of humid air blowing. I had breathing difficulties. MUSTY CORRIDORS: Absolutely disgusting smell of mildew. Very unhealthy. LOCATION: Bad… Not many things around so you always need to call a taxi. There are many men around the hotel who made me uncomfortable with the looks. I was late 7 mins for the check out (at 12:07) and the reception called me. When I was checking out, the receptionist told me to wait till the housekeeper checks the room. For me, both of this instances were quite rude and not about the customer satisfaction. I complained about the bad smell of the bathroom and the reception lady told me that it was a “special room” that they gave me because of limited availability. I reserved my room weeks ago and you accepted it so you are obliged to give me a room. It is not like you made a charity giving me a room so you can’t justify the smell with the limited availability excuse. I am happy to leave this place. Two nights were a disaster. Never again.

It was a good experience to stay in this Hotel. The rooms and washrooms are large and cleaned well. The staff was well too. The swimming pool & Gym area is small but you can enjoy them! The food didn't try but all the services were good. Had a good time.

Several reasons for the poor rating: - this hotel is open for everyone I have been told by them and they welcome people from all over the world. Therefore you should make everybody feel welcome as well. So I was wondering how it is possible to have lots of people sitting at any given hour in the lobby with their bare feet on the table right next to where people would eat - having booked for 5 nights, after the second night the room was not properly cleaned anymore. Additionally, we were missing the basics like towels/paper or soap. When calling reception, they assured us it would be taken care of immediately but we had to call two further times during the next hour and a half before the poor guy would show with stuff that we did not need while asking for other things we indeed needed. Maybe work on internal communication in this case. - on our floor there was a party/people sitting on the floor and eating there every night while in the morning (starting 7AM) they were using the floor as a playground and screaming from one room to another. Apparently families knew each other and thought they were at home still. - check-in took 25-30min (not because we had to wait in a line but rather due to slow working processes) even though everything was clear and done before the trip. - reception made us feel uncomfortable when coming back to the room/going out every time by whispering something to each other while staring at us as if we were from another planet.

I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, it is far from the city and there are many pakistani and indians around. they have irritating glances as if they have never seen a woman on the street. There is bus number 8 that you can go to dubai marina and burj al arab, but it is very bad as it takes more than 1 hour bus journey as it stops even if the passenger is not at the stop. Use taxi instead of uber because it is more convenient. we even regret not renting a car because it is more convenient because places are far away. We asked the hotel staff how much a vehicle that could take us to the airport, they said 300 Aed, but we went by taxi for 120 Aed. zero customer satisfaction, they try to scam people. rooms were dirty and smelly. When you arrive in Dubai, you will understand for yourself that you will not want to come again. If you want to wander around the streets as a comfortable tourist, keep a hotel close to the center because you will not have a peaceful time with your spouse in this hotel. Trust this review with peace of mind and don't regret it like us.

The hotel is situated at a very great place and the ambience is truely amazing. I really liked the people in housekeeping and the team who is taking care of cleanliness in hotel they have a very beautiful fragrance coming in the corridors. Good location of hotel in Dubai for connectivity and stay. Continously Staying for almost more than 1.5 years due to job requirement. Service from F&B Dept called SENSES is good. All staff Mr. Pankaj / Priyesh / Shubadeep/ Ms. Syntia/ Sunita / Sejal / Norima are quite professional in their job at F&B section. Even housekeeping staff Mr. Ajit/ Tikaram are professional in their job and do it appropriately every day.

It's the worst experience I ever got in my life in any hotel in uae , its even worse the a one star hotel , starting with the check in iam a mercure member but I feel no difference in being a mercure member, secondly the parking is so small that I was late to my appointment because I was blocked for an hour in the parking , and thirdly the room is dirty and bathroom is broken then tv is not working right and when I call them to ask for more towels I got it after calling again the next day , and about the customer service its the worst I have ever experience I even didn't get any help from the manager him self as if he didn't care about the customers at all. So in short I swear its the worst hotel experience I have ever received and my advice for anyone even for the cheapest price go for another hotel . Ps I gave them food to heat for me they didn't and I never got it back, I checked out hungry even though I paid and bought the food myself.

The hotel is just amazing, we stayed in hotel for two nights the rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean. The linen are white with no spots, they give the best of the amenities for use. Overall the cleanliness is great and would love to come back

Mercure Gold Hotel Dubai, Great value for money. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and convenient location. Enjoyed my stay, would recommend it for quick business trips. Many restaurants and cafes close by as well.

Rooms are totally ok, keeps normal mercure level of standard. Reception were helpful and welcoming, the housekeeping was excellent cleaning the room and refilling products without missing anything. Location wise there are a few restaurants and supermarkets just nearby, metro station is a little bit far but bus stops just outside to connect to metro or bus station.

If there is something lower than one star I will give them minus I should call for any thing the room is not attached with any thing even slippers are not founded I should order it !!!! And then when I checked out they ask me for wait moments to check if there is something missing, ok I agree to do this but with out telling me that.

1. Hotel is very clean. Breakfast is very good. People are very nice. 2. We used the hotel for a meeting. Eveything was arranged perfekt. 3. The tour operator in the hotel arranged the pcr test for returning home. 8 in the morning the test was done in the hotel. 2 in the afternoon the result came and for normal price

The service is excellent. I'm really glad for the reception that managed too rebook our room because I booked the wrong room typ and the through some miracle found the right typ of room. Everything else is also quiet nice, I like the lobby and the Fact you can go out of the Hotel an do stuff outside. Well worth the price.

Please do not bother replying to this review, it's pointless. We had a bad experience at the checking itself. Too long await, and we were dealt by 2 rude front desk staff. The guy even said he doesn't care if we don't come back to the hotel. Waste of money and time.

Visited for the birthday party of my friend son. Staff is nice Arrnagement was good When requested for other normal food for my parents- staff helped us with the food and served well, although they have to take manager apporcla for the same. Arrangements were nice with music. The same.ooem hall has been closed partially with barrications for the birthday party arramgent. Good was tasty and nicely arranged although the rotis were a bit commentable - but ok for such large quantity, roti were served hot. Drinking Water to be requested once the first serving is finished, good for saving water. 🤔🤔. AC was not enough for normal time and once the dance floor is on then don't ask for more cooling. Maybe use lobby for more cooling. Overhaul experience was good

Terrible experience staying at this hotel. There is a bar/nightclub in this hotel which has techno music thumping through the guest room floors and windows until 3am. I complained to duty manager at hotel, he just laughed and said I could join in the bar/nightclub. No interst in the hotel guests being able to sleep. Also, despite being non smoking, the room reaked of cigarette smoke. This could be a good hotel but management is very poor. On the plus side, the concierge staff were very helpful.

Very nice for business and family. I am staying four nights starting tonight. Shahid in the roof top floor is a responsible person that i highly appreciate. I was arguing with him why i can't jump into the pool but he convinced me 🤣. Highly recommend..

Positives: Good Value for money, Friendly and very Helpful Staff all over the Hotel. Nice Pool on the roof. Gym was good. Complimentary water everyday & I did not use the Massage Spa but looked Fab. Free Bus Shuttle everyday to both Jumeriah Beaches and to Dubai Mall + Outlet and Mercato Mall. Supermarket next door makes it convenient for quick snacks/cigarettes etc. Negatives: It is in a great part of Dubai. Near the Beach and Mall but its on the Main road so not too great if you want to walk around looking for local restaurants & Also no Metro train stations nearby however taxis are easy to come across - But this is not hotels fault. Internet only in lounge and not in rooms. Overall I had a great time and would recommend this Hotel. For a 4 Star hotel, There is Quality & service for a good rate

Very good facilities and well-behaving, staff team. I enjoyed my 27 days stay at the hotel. Out of 27 days, I had to stay in Isolation for 7 days due to covid protocols. In that period the hotel provided us with every support and service.

Wonderful hotel to stay in Dubai. It's very convenient in terms of location, close to the airport, major tourist spots and good restaurants around. The room was very convenient, spacious and neat. They cleaned the room every day even though we were there for a good week long. We opted for a breakfast package and it was well worth it. It was wonderful to see at least a couple of Indian vegetarian dishes as part of the breakfast menu. Idli, poha, shavige, paratha etc.., the spread of cakes, breads, fruits, nuts were always fresh and tasty. The staff was always courteous and made us feel at home. Nasir one of the attendant staff was very friendly and gave us suggestions for day trips and local travel around. They have a drop facility to the beach and Dubai mall. The Dubai outlet mall bus also has a stop here making it very convenient.

I stayed in this hotel with my family, the hotel is exceptional in the housekeeping service, they always keep towel creation to surprise us. Sorry I forgot the name I liked the boys as they were prompt, the service was at its best. Room was clean, neat and tidy. Bathrooms were fresh and hygienic. Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean. The pool was also clean, they had enough towels for us. The place was great. Mr. Rahul met us during our stay, & he took care of the needs and requirements of us during the stay. Will surely come back and stay here again.. Must visit.

I stayed in this hotel in October 2023, the corridor on the second floor smells incredibly of mould, damp room even with air conditioning on. On the ground floor there is a disco that plays loud music until 3 in the morning and it is practically impossible to sleep. Good location, always very friendly staff.

Had dinner at the place, their buffet was decent. Indian food, with chicken and mutton along with dal. Basic breads and rice, salad was also part of the menu.

Excellent customer service. Staff offered a warm helpful welcome. Any problems with our room or booking were quickly resolved in a polite and friendly manner.

My husband booked a family suite through Reservation staff Faiz and we are very happy that room was clean, spacious and quiet. Reception was very courteous and well-mannered. One of the best choices in Dubai.

One word description: Disaster! It’s impossible to sleep as there are two disco clubs in basement !! 4 from 5 receptions are not educated to do the job,halls are smelling,room walls are black from humidity! Awful service at the front desk on checking in! Was put in a very smelly damp worst room ever! despite having booked for a non smoking room.Front desk admitted they had put me in there as they were fully booked.when l asked for the room to be changed , the man at reception was very rude , no people skills at all! Was checked into another room which had poor drainage, water would take its time to drain after a shower.Corridor smelled BAD! It was very disappointing.Nowhere a 4dtar hotel.

Asked not to get room above the club: staff gave me room directly above club, so every night till 3am room is shaking from loud music. We had 2 reservations, but they were pushing to put us in 1 room. Because they were full, so bad organized. Last night, agreed with reception to exchange room next morning, we arrive at reception and exchange was not possible anymore! Bathrooms hygiene is bad.

This hotel is a discotheque and no hotel! It is impossible to sleep since the rooftop bar plays music so loud until 2-3 am! Horrible. Definitely no recommendation.

My days at this hotel were excellent, especially at restaurant where I was served by Mr Abhay.. the food was awesome.

Incredible smelly and noisy Accor hotel Reconsider to stay here as much better Accor hotels are very close Unfortunately I made a very big mistake to stay here for 4 nights An absolute dump Not even windows can be cleaned and the rambling smell everywhere plus smoking in front of the hotel made it the worst stay

Worst hotel to stay in. The staff don't care about u. I was ill and no one came to see me or even call a doctor. They just don't care.

Had buffet lunch here. Being a South Indian I liked the food served here. Curd rice is awesome. Ambiance is good. Great lunch for me.

Problem with air vent into toilet.. Engineers try fixed three times and doesn’t help… so diced change a room for different one.. New room with working air vent in bathroom was bit better… I had those feelings I had intruders into my room middle night… This company in Europe works bit better and safer…

This is our second time at the hotel and i can say we weren't disappointed. We stayed 3 nights and i must say we had a great time Can't mention the names of every staff that attended to us, but everyone on duty was polite and willing to help. We even got complimentary cakes for our birthdays. We'd definitely visit again

Mr Gulzar was attending us for whole of our 8 days stay . He was very nice and cooperative. All the Excellent staff they have. Everyone was helpful. We enjoyed our trip.

Awesome hotel in a great location of Dubai. The staff was very friendly. Rooms are nice (got upgraded to a Suite!), and rooftop pool and bar very enjoyable. Walking distance from La Mer.

We checked in Mar 25th for our 5 nights stay. The from check in was a breeze and the staff hospitality is excellent. The rooms are very generous in size. I will update post on how stay goes. So far I will give it 5 stars. Just side Note, I have read alot of reviews people stating of loud music from the 2 bars downstairs. So far our room is on the third floor we didn't hear any music in our room. Unless your on the first floor you will definitely hear it in the bedrooms.
