Worst hospital. Never go in for an emergency. My five-year-old son, who fell and had his nerves injured, required me to go to the hospital today midnight. need an urgent stitching. I registered and proceeded to the nurse's room, but after checking, they once more asked me to go to the front desk. Then he demanded that I pay fees totaling AED410.00 as his insurance was expired last month. I informed him that this situation was emergency and that I believed there is no fees especially for children's emergency cases. But they were not accepting. I then went to Rashid Hospital. Thankfully, they attended my son's situation and had his stitches completed without charging anything.

Their careless attitude leaded to the death. The father of my friend was very sick, they kept postponing the operation every day with a very silly reasons. The urgent operation didn’t happen for a week and on the weekend they said that we are not working on the weekend. They moved the operation to Monday. He dyed on Saturday night. They didn’t care of him at all. Didn’t come to change the bandaging for his gangrene at all. It is horrible to know that there are such careless people in this world.

It’s a hospital with largest ICU in UAE and has facility in EHS-UAE all specialties like trauma center, stroke center, cardiac center, renal transplant center. Visiting timing is from 5 – 7 in the evening. Make sure that you have all the details of the patient as the security will ask for the details including your name and contact number before you enter. Emergency unit and the I.C.U are excellent but don’t have enough nurses on every shift to run the show. Internal unit lacks communication with other division especially the night shift. The nurses supplied food on time and the doctor came and do the checkup frequently, even in the middle of the night if needed. Plenty of free parking spaces are available in front of the hospital. Never had any issue in finding a parking space.

I went there to have training sessions in the mri department provided by GE company, to be honest all the staff are polite, friendly ,hard worker and working sincerely,. all of them receptionists, MRI technologists (Mrs. Tinu), nurses (nurse Mrs.Prateesha) and housekeeping. It was an amazing experience, truly glad to know them. I hope their will be appreciation from the management.

Very bad experience in my entire life I came for my friend who was injured in accident. Doctor did not told full report during check up , nurses are very rude unmanner in male surgical ward , they are visiting after 1 hour when we inform, hurting patients in wound area during pressure and temperature checkup. Some medicine were not provide even if we ask them for patients. Nurse are very careless and unknown don’t know to fix medicine equipment . With out proper recovery they want to release patients because of less space. I heard some bad word during night when male ward messenger are told to shift new patients next to our bed. They are fighting each other for work. I don’t want to recommend any people to visit this hospital .

I live in close proximity to the hospital so it is very convenient for us to visit Al Qasimi hospital but that comes at a cost. Apart from the doctors themselves who are highly qualified. Every other department from finance to admin etc in my personal opinion must have gotten the jobs through referrals or so. Also it does not help since the hospital is funded by the ministry of health so unless the government goes bankrupt they do not have to worry about performing well to keep salaries coming in haha Conclusion, if you have time to waste and lots of patience it's a good hospital and doctors are highly qualified and immensely experienced too but if you value your time and it is worth more than money then you will not be happy here.

Although it is government hospital yet the reviews are so negative and less for it. Even i had to face great pain and problem although i was visiting emergency section at 2 to 3 am. Yet no doctor came for my checkup or even for painkillers no one bothered. Instead i was told that my pain and condition is not considered to be that much of an emergency situation. I literally had to ask them should i die and then come for it to be emergency. But i am not complaining about staff or what.. I am disappointed by the rules and policies for the emergency section. Who can get benefits from you if in emergency even you are charging more than 200aed just the consultancy fee. My first time visit was the worst experience ever with their service and facilities. No plan for appointments it seems that one guy is calling people and gives out appointments without registering their name in appointment list. Things are not organized and huge mess. I was sent back and forth between different sections they don't know where my appointment is. The toilet is very narrow and hard for handicapped and elder people to get inside. My father got cut on his hand while inside the toilet because it was very difficult to move.

It is really a shame, seeing such equipment and resources go to such arrogant staff. I am really at disbelief after going through the reviews and I am very curious, where the hell is the management?? Why is such behaviour permitted towards patients? I have waited for upwards of 6 hours to do covid test for my mother, and they kept saying the doctors are busy. But then I find them chatting and laughing, and after confronting them, they tell me to go back and wait. The main reason why this hospital still functions , is few of their doctors. Which they might lose to actual hospitals. Really disappointing seeing such resources fall into such arrogant and unorganised hands. I will gladly change my review once the situation is improved. Constructive points: 1: Phone lines are rarely answered, and when answered they try to get rid of you. (No use of running operators and phones) 2. Receptionist, Nurses, Doctors, Police officers and clerks, are arrogant and will not hesitate to take out their frustration on patients. (Tackle this behaviour through hiring new supervisors who know how a hospital should run). I am in no way stating that all the staff here are bad, but unfortunately the majority are (none medical staff). For Example, Nurse Heshma is a sweetheart and is dealing with all angry and emotional patients. Who are frustrated by the staff of the Hospital, and she is doing such a good job (God bless her). Another great example is Dr Loai (Cardiology) one of the best doctors i have met, who has extensive medical knowledge and holistic bedside manner.

One of worst Hospital in UAE. On 31st July 2021, my wife's amniotic sac was fractured, she was in very serious condition. I want to Gynecology Emergency Department. But one Egyptian lady doctor was there on duty, she misbehave with me aswel as with my wife. She did not provide any medical support. She was shouting on us. Two European doctor was there, they try to arrange a bed for us but she did not support at all. She is a heartless lady doctor, very danger. She need to visit one Psychiatric doctor . We sepnt almost 4 hrs on emergency, but we did not find any help. Then we went to Shaikh Khalifa Hospital, Umm Al Quain which is One of the best hospital of UAE.

Really very very bad experience in this hospital, I took my wife in Emergency at night at 12:00 and more than two hours we had been waiting for our turn, which was really for my wife painful, I requested so many times for her bed and for her turn but nobody supported and all the times they said doctor is busy with patients, in my life it showed me how the world is it, when you are a normal person because we belongs to middle class, if you are high class everything is for you special, anyway I want to mention about this hospital experience which was terrible, I would not like to say their treatment and hospitality with all patients would be same but for me and for my wife it’s a bad experience. I can not thank the nurses and doctors enough. Humanity is their top quality. Professionalism in every manner. We have been to a private hospital in Dubai and paid a fortune because that was their top priority and still the service comes nothing to what we witnessed in Al Qassimi hospital. I want to thank all the working staff from cleaners to security to all medical staff..Although my mother passed away yet I am certain that she was in good hands truly and genuinely they have done their best. From medical care standpoint this hospital is good. There is no question about that. However, if you have your family members admitted here it is a real struggle to get any update about the patient. Most calls go unanswered, no visits are permitted due to Covid-19 protocols. The hospital keeps telling that we will get a call from the medical team to provide us an update but they never do. I understand that the hospital is doing all this to protect the premises from any outside Covid exposure but it should also acknowledge that it is being very insensitive towards the patients family who is already going through a traumatic experience. Lastly, the Filipino insurance lady at the hospital is rude and lacks phone etiquettes. Due to these factors, I would not recommend anyone to willingly be treated in this hospital.

Absolutely worst experience in Emergency. My son fell from the bed and his nose was bleeding and head was severely swollen. First there is only one person at the reception to register and take payment from every patient which caused a long waiting time. Next, the nurse took one look at my child and deemed it a non emergency case after which my insurance was denied. Because of this we were told there will be 2 hour wait time and we need to pay 250 just for doctor consultation. How is a bleeding nose and swollen head a non-emergency???? Pathetic service. I walked out the next minute.

It was her first baby and she left her traumatized with her rude behavior. I would love to get her fired if only she had informed me during her labor. I had to call for an Ambulance due to an emergency with my mother. After running some tests, the emergency team immediately informed me that we needed to take her hospital immediately. They said only Al Qassimi Hospital is taking patients right now, I had no experience before with the hospital, and I just went by the suggestion from the emergency team. We rushed to the hospital in the Ambulance, right from the emergency treatment to her successful angiogram and angioplasty; she stayed there a night in emergency and the next four days in the hospital to complete her treatment. The staff, from the emergency doctors, nurses, security staff, front desk staff to all the nurses in the wards, Cath-lab staff, security guards around the lab, doctors themselves were so amazing, so caring throughout the period, keeping me posted and engaged. I was scared after reading the reviews on the site when I was in the emergency, but my experience with the hospital is entirely different and outstanding. The nurses in the ward and OPD, the security person at the Cathlab, the security staff at the entrance, the accounts team sitting at the country, the on-call doctor, and all the doctors who were present during the angiogram and angioplasty in the cathlab – everyone, each and everyone was so caring, understanding and were absolute to their best – they gave me no different experience then I expected from them. A low income patient came here for a referral report for a tumor. She came for appointment and was referred to an eye doctor in another clinic,.where she had to pay 800 aed for basic reports not related to her tumor. Which requires urgent attention and all is required is an referral letter for an oncology center in UAE. There is absolutely no mercy or consideration for human life.

One of the worst hospitals that anyone could bring their loved ones to die. My father had fever, chill and his blood pressure 210/ 130 with immense shivering. After 30 min of registration and vitals checking, the emergency room had beds but no doctors on site to check and the nurse being trained to neglect patients, they just closed the emergency room halls so that no patient could enter until a doctor comes.(reminder- this is emergency department). Sadly after 40 mins of waiting and telling them that i am also a doctor and patients need urgent care, they behaved like they didnt like their job and someone has hired them by force. I had to leave and find another hospital as i couldnt see my father in so much pain. So how much money should we throw them on their face to let them work like a healthcare sector? The nurses and doctors there had 0 empathy, 0 professionalism. I Do Not recommend this hospital at all.

This country was having generous leaders earlier. Unfortunately all government hospitals/clinics here lack professionalism. Last night she have got sivere stomach pain , as I am staying Sharjah my nearest hospital for emergency is Al Qassimi, after I arrived I came to know, they have separate emergency section for Women & Children. I don't know what they have understood with the word "Emergency", as my wife was litterly crying because of stomach pain the hospital staff were told me as per the policy the waiting period of consulting doctor will take minimum 15min to Max 1hour. Then I have spoken to Philipina lady , she was explaining me about the rules and regulation "as there is patients inside" don't have basic courtecy to unstanding the situation of my wife. I don't really understand that for treating one doctor for one patient , then if someone come there with emergency case at the same time "Should they need to wait for the other patient to come out or I don't know" How they call this as "EMERGENCY CARE" I would really appreciate someone from the hospital management revert me on same. Its not a hospital is a place where only unprofessional, ignorant and nothing to do people work. How did they even got their license. My 3 year old daughter had put a clay into her nose, we went their for emergency, “doctor” if you can call him like that, has told us why we came that late? It was 2pm, and he is saying its a Thursday, saying he want to leave early. He hasnt even touch her to see what is the issue is, but started saying all over a sudden, that I didnt pay him any money. When I said I didnt pay because he hasnt done anything yet, he got mad. Doctors are not money oriented specialists, but health oriented. He was definitely not a doctor!!! So think before making same as me mistake.

really good hospital specially for surgery. its a government hospital where the surgery and stay in fees is low compared to its treatment, dish and check ups and its got very clean and hygienic environment. the nurses supplied food on time and the doctor came frequently, even in te middle of the night to check up in case. highly recommend. back in 2020, my brother had his appendix removal surgery and his life was saved, thank you al qassami for returning us our precious gift💛💚

Went to qassimi hospital with child small cut bleeding... when asking about the paymnet and deduction receptionist Philippine guy( God will bless him) trying to help us from avoiding payment of 410 aed, but the PRO is not understanding the situation of patient. i think hospital should place a better nice kind hearted person on that position. The staff in public relations acts as a security guard, she stopped the elevator full of the patients and medical staff just because one visitor want to meet his patient for 5 minutes, she’s taking actions personally and not doing her job professionally, usually public relations officer will be quite and patient and they will set in their offices not standing on the corridor and shouting. She’s acting like this without her work card so how people will know she’s a staff or no! Her name is Mona Alkaabi, she shouted in the corridor with her name saying if you will report me, report. Worst customer service, worst receptionists and worst guidance. I am shocked how does such a hospital belong in Sharjah. I strictly recommend if you have a emergency do not go here cause they won’t treat it like an emergency neither do they treat you and your family good. Hospital is suppose to be a place where you have assurance that everything will be alright instead this felt like a battle field each entrance has security which do not let you enter or help. I will say this again. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. Government should do something about this hospital it’s sad how we are born and raised here but still this today really made me feel like worst.

I waited for 4 hours in the emergency and i went there by the ambulance. I have a desc and I was in a strong pain could not walk. They just let me sit on the wheel chair which made it worse! After all this waiting they gave me an injection and panadol !!!! Whatttt!!! And I hardly went back by a taxi with same pain! The cashier also took 100 AED extra by mistake while we were waiting in emergency!!!! The staff there were not professional!

So apparently TIA (Transient Ischemic attack) is not considered an "emergency" at this hospital. Perhaps they only treat patients once they've already suffered a stroke. However if you are a local, even throat infection could be considered an emergency and they'd happily admit you for it.

It was terrible from start till finish. I'm 24 weeks pregnant. I went to emergency (my first time in the hospital). The receptionist attended to me, asked me to wait for the nurse to call. I waited and was called after about 15 - 20 minutes of waiting. The nurse checked my record, didn't attend to me and sent me back to the reception. After waiting in line, the receptionist sent me to the insurance desk and that was when they informed me that my insurance is not covered in the hospital. So I was only finding out after spending over 30 minutes already in the hospital that I'm not covered by insurance, something they could have mentioned from the very beginning (and mind you, the receptionist asked for my insurance company in the beginning and I told him). The insurance desk then sent me back to the reception to find out what my treatment will cost. I went and the receptionist, after telling me the cost, sent me back again to the insurance desk to collect a form, after which I was sent back again to the reception to make the required payment (why all this back and forth movement? And remember I'm 24 weeks pregnant) After the back and fort, I was asked to wait for my name to be called. I waited for almost 1 hour and I was still not called. That was about 11pm. I was tired and wanted to go home so I went to the reception and asked them to cancel my file and issue a refund. Of course the refund process was very long and I was asked to come the next day to start the refund process. I told the receptionist that I live in Ajman and it would be challenging to come there (sharjah) again the next day. He just dismissed me with an attitude. At this time, they had not given me my invoice for the payment i had made earlier, eventhough I had requested twice already so I could attach it to my insurance reimbursement form. I told the receptionist that they can keep the money. He should just cancel my file so I can go home. He ignored me and started talking to his colleague while I stood there and waited. After few minutes of standing and waiting, I was finally called in the doctor's office. Things went a little faster from then. After finally receiving treatment, I went to the receptionist again to request for my invoice and that was when it was finally given to me. I spent over 2 hours in that hospital and when I left, I was in pain in my legs and stomach from all the long standing at the reception desk and the many back and forth between the reception desk and insurance desk. Apart from the receptionist who was rude, inconsiderate, kept chatting on his phone and with his colleagues while I stood in front of him and waited, the other staff, (security guards, nurses, doctor, insurance desk) were polite. However the system of operation in the hospital causes so much unnecessary delays like how long it took before I was advised that I'm not covered by insurance. Overall, it was a very bad experience for me. Absolutely no priority or consideration was given to me seeing that I'm heavily pregnant. This hospital is a complete No No for me.

I was expecting to struggle to find my way and be put down by the poor customer service.. The staff members were super proactive. They told me what to do before i had the chance to feel lost or confused. I saw the nurse, doctor, did an X ray all within 1 hour.. super super friendly staff and they strive to make your experience a positive and refreshing one.

Al qasmia is one of the best hospital, best ICU, best EMERGENCY dealing, very qualified and professional nurses and drs are beyound imagination responsible and qualified.They treat every patient very atmost caring. I was admitted in ICU for about 68 days no doubt qasmia is life saving hospital.all drs and nurses performed their duties like no one can do and i came back to life. Who ever made that I wish should get kidney stones and would only then understand the pain for it. They said if you still want it you have to pay 400+ for consultation, way higher then any private hospital consultation. How does it make a government hospital??? Dubai Government Hospitals only charge 180 max in such a case. Worst hospital or should I say all government hospitals in Sharjah for expats. Zero stars for a hospital that doesnt let patients enter to see a doctor. I saw security guard screaming at people and he sent us to emergency and emergency dept would not allow us to enter as they suspect covid patients... Where as group of ladies were allowed in from same place and they directed us to nearby hospital to take appointment from them and then come.. All this when a patient is in pain ... Worst hospital ever and I have received amazing treatment from others .. Please don't waste experimenting with your loved ones health with those who don't care at all

The hospital is good my grandma stayed at the ER but there was this nurse at the 1:am shift she was so rude and heard her taking about me for no reason i think she is not suitable to be in the er where people need to be really patient and nice to their patients
