I would have never came to this place if it wasn't for my friends. I absolutely loved the food especially the rice, I forgot the name. Since we were in a big group, we order seafood and meat platter. This allowed us to try everything they had to offer and let me tell you it was delicious. The best part is to get there around 9 or 10 and see how restaurant turns in to club.

I would fly back to Dubai specifically to visit this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. NYC Nigerian restaurants need to step up their game! I came during lunch time and the set up was modern and sleek. The service was prompt and friendly. I had the beef suya with jollof rice; highly recommended, it was bursting with flavor and full of spice. The pepper sauce is heavenly! Big portions as well.

If you're looking for an authentic meal from the African continent, in a snazzy lounge type atmosphere then this is your place!! On party nights they do turn the place into a bit of a disco, so if it's that's not your piece of cake don't sit in for dinner on those days. They'll happily deliver your order to you at home.

Great place for African dishes and nightlife. Not that cheap (depending on your pocket) so I had Nigerian jollof rice and I liked it. Went on a Friday it wasn't as busy as I expected so I heard they close really late.. 7am or so ? I wasn't patient enough to wait so I left by 2am ? but it's a good place?and they've got good food as well.

The food that I had at KIZA was UNREAL. It was SO SO SO good. I tried a friend's dish and it was super spicy, but mine was just the way I like it! The atmosphere is really fun, and it turns into a nightclub later on. We stayed around and it was really fun for ALL ages. They've got a big screen that can play music videos, and one of our guests even had his wedding video played as a surprise to his wife!

It’s been a while I had good African Food and so A friend of my mine recommended Kiza and I must say I wasn’t disappointed.. the food, the service, the music, the atmosphere.. thumbs up 👍🏾

I am extremely disappointed, I had high expectations after reading the reviews and seeing images of the restaurant online. Once I had entered, it was extremely dark with flashing disco ball lights, similar to a nightclub. The light effects made me feel a little dizzy, which is not what you want to feel at a restaurant. Additionally, the darkness made it hard to actually see what you were eating. The DJ was not great, literally sounded like a YouTube playlist, the mixing vas very choppy, there was many times where there was long and awkward silence/pauses . We remained seated waiting for the food, we ordered 2x kuku choma and 1x suya. As the waiter placed the food on the table he accidentally poured the hot sauce that accompanied the suya on 2/4 of my friends. The waiter was very unapologetic and acted as if nothing happens whilst my friends were in agony. They were not provided with anything to clean their garments instead were just ignored. My friends when to the bathroom and it look around 10-15 mins under cold water to stop the burning sensation. Once they came back, their clothes and seats still had some residue. After this situation, we thought maybe the food will lift our mood. However, it was VERY under-seasoned, VERY dry and cold. When confronting the ‘manager’ on quality of the service and food provided he simply made cocky jokes and did not take us seriously. The first thing he mentioned (before an apology) is that the food was meant to be dry. He then merely apologised and tried to compensate with free drinks, instead we just wanted to leave and get our money back. Overall this was a horrific experience and I WOULD NOT recommend any one to go here, it’s under-seasoned and dry.

I’ve never been in African restaurant before so it was very interesting experience! I was curious about food, atmosphere, drinks, music. Great location in DIFC. We visited it on Wednesday but the restaurant was full! So I understood my choice was the right. Waiter was so helpful! We don’t eat meat and don’t drink alcohol so he advised us the best dishes without meat and non-alcoholic drinks. I liked quote from Queen song near the entrance! Music was nice, as I underwood there are days with live music too! Would be interesting to visit it again to listen to it.

The food was amazing!!!! I'm Nigerian and a little unadventurous when it comes to food so I had food that I was familiar with (lamb balangu, fried yam & jollof) and I must say it was pretty amazing. My friends and I got 2 free rounds of cocktails which was basically vodka and cranberry juice (not complaining lol). The music is amazing, a heavy mix of Nigerian sound, a few other songs from around the world. Definitely recommend this for all my Nigerian people who want to experience Lagos type nightlife. ?

The music is great any day of the week especially if you like Afrobeats. The ambiance is cool starting from the hostess at the entrance all the way to the bar. The service could be abit faster in my view. Kudos to the emphasis on the African concept, you feel it from the staff uniform to hairstyle and they mastery of the African menu. I highly recommend and will surely come Back. Also reduce any possible ladies discounts they seem to like the restaurant more than their male counterparts 🤪

Kiza was a great eye opener for me, guess it was one of the premium African restaurant in Dubai. Located at the high rolling DIFC area, Kiza is a modern mix of traditional African roots to the more modern look and feel. Beautifully decorated, cool African artifacts, a private area, tables, lounger chairs, sofas, all add individual vibrant to the whole place. The bar is fully equipped set in the middle of the Restaurant in sort of a V shape. We loved the music being played by the DJ and for a midweek, this place was packed. We started off with some fresh juices of pineapple, Lime & mint. Then we got the Chicken brik, which is a favourite Nigerian dish, which is made of oven baked, filo pastry filled with chicken, onion and cheese. Perfectly puffed and the right amount of hardness, not too flaky. The chicken really nice, unlike any flavours that I have had before. Next we got the chicken gizzard, the spice levels of this really got me going, truly one fine dish which I loved. The onions, bell peppers and all mixed with the hard gizzard meat, was unbelievable. Overall the food was delightful, gave us some amazing flavours that we have not tried so often. We loved the variety of dishes served from various African nations. Lovely vibe and feel. The service was a let down for us, but we hope they will do more to pick up that part of the experience to the customers. Barring that, this is a terrific place to be.

Extensive African menu and great service! Our waiter George from Nigeria was friendly and very attentive. We ordered the grilled prawn from Kiza signature dish section and the lamb balangu with jollof risotto and plantain. The combination of savory, sweet and spicy taste was very enjoyable, and Kiza is definitely the right spot if you want to experience the real African dishes.

After being thoroughly satisfied with our last visit just 10 days ago, my husband and I returned to this extraordinary place. Just like the previous time, we can confirm the excellence of this establishment... Not only was the service consistently efficient and extraordinary throughout the dinner (J.L. has been outstanding.), but customers were leaving satisfied to make room for others. The food is authentic, in the sense that I've never tried something so original; it's definitely worth a visit. But the real highlight is the cocktails. My husband is convinced that the cocktails he tried are among the top five best he's ever had in his entire life. One of them had a persimmon aftertaste. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed, in a multicultural setting with a strong African influence. 10 out of 10!

Koza is always always a fun place to be. The decor is great. The restaurant is fantastic and the food absolutely mouth watering and delicious. I enjoyed their Pounded yam and Efo riro had to have seconds. Compliments always to the chef. The music is always great. Very suitable for big group dinners, small group dinner and that romantic sit out. It is a place to come eat, relax and dance the night away. The staff are very friendly and dot over you.

My husband and I visit this Restaurant on and off. The service is eclectic as some times we get good food and services, sometimes good food and bad/rude services and sometimes bad food and bad/rude services. We went there on these Thursday evening with our British/Caucasian friend and the service was spectacular. The food we also ate - Jollof rice, tiger prawns, efo riro, assorted meat and steamed white rice was really yummy. Oh my... The food was the stuff of food legends and we ate till we could barely move. We had such a lovely experience that we promised ourselves we would be back within the week. So we went there on Sunday, 2 Days later with our Nigerian friends visiting Dubai and the food was so terrible, extremely salty goat meat pepper soup, dry and very average Jollof rice, bland tasting tiger prawns... Just absolutely horrible food that with the couple we had boasted about their food to, we ended up spending over AED800 and felt like we hadn't only just wasted money but also wasted our tummy. Perhaps it's about the Chef, perhaps we would only visit there on Thursday evenings and hope the Chef that cooked the previously yummy food is always on duty on Thursday evenings. The 3 star rating is in remembrance of our initial experience and the really lovely service we got on both days. If I rated only on the food on our second visit, it would be a no star rating.

We made reservations when we got there and they did not have our reservations. They sat us at a table for five minutes, as we’re settling in they tell us we need to move, that table is reserved. The brunch only includes shots and mixed drinks with soda. Cocktails with the listed brunch drinks are not included, so u can get gin and juice, but u can’t get a gin martini. But the food was good.

Came here with a friends for some drinks and music on a Thursday night. It was very empty but they kept telling us more people would come. We stayed for a bit, ordered drinks and the beef suya platter which was delicious. The drinks were also good too. The service was also exceptional and the little robots were an interesting addition.

Kiza is a must! From the service, to the food, to the music this place is a 5 star establishment. The manager at the door was beyond kind and super accommodating (he was also very pleasing to the eye 🤣). For food I ordered the meat pie as a starter and for the main course I had grilled lamb with plantains and jollof rice. I can’t even describe how succulent and flavorful the lamb was. My friend had the red snapper and a spinach dish (lots of vegetarian options) and she absolutely loved her food too. Every single element of this experience was perfection! Pre-covid this place turned into a club in the evening, and I know it would have been lots of fun because just the music alone was so fun!!!! I will be back next year and I will spread the word!

I have heard a lot about this place and wanted to visit it for a while, and I am absolutely impressed with the decor, ambience and the service. I ordered a cocktail called ubuntu it’s a vodka based drink with cucumber infused flavour and I absolutely loved it. It will be a regular drink during my future visits as well. I would assume having been around for some time this would change, but I have to admit the management is doing a great job improving and maintaining this. If you are looking for good African food in Dubai, this is the place. Note that it tends to get really loud but they have a room to get away from the noise. I live the puffs you get before meals too.

What an awesome experience at Kiza. Naija never carry last for sure. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the Jollof rice which was pretty good. the Beans porridge and Yam porridge was amazing. I especially loved how soft the yams were in the porridge, people don't often get this right so I was very happy. The Kele wele and moi moi were also very good appetizers. The approach from Kiza to create a lounge and party type atmosphere was amazing. This was our first spot for dinner in Dubai and I must confess that they got this spot on. It would not have been Dubai if they did not use technology to deliver the food. Robots that wink at you, haba that one is too much. Overall a great experience.

We are here from United States (HOUSTON TEXAS) and we loved our dining experience at Kiza! The concept and vibe here is 5/5. Enjoyed all our foods!! Taste YUM! (Short Ribs & Coconut chicken stew. Appetizers: meat pie and chicken on the brick). We especially loved Collins our WONDERFUL waiter who served us with kindness, great recommendations, and a A1 customer service. GO COLLINS!!! We went for dinner at KIZA Restaurant & Lounge and food was very delicious, specially African rise with prawns and chicken. I would recommend to try Mai Thai cocktail, it has guava and so tasty. There is DJ playing afrobit which is cool. Nice bar and lounge sitting area.

Kiza is an Pan African cuisine restaurant, serving delicious bites and drinks all through the night. The food is great, but what I liked even better was the service. The staff were very friendly and prompt with the service. The music is also good and its got a great vibe. A perfect weekend night can be spent with your friends at this one.

I have never been in an African restaurant and I have never tried their food, I visited Kiza located in Emirates Financial Tower, and the vibes there from the hostess desk until I entered was more than amazing, the staff received me in a warm welcome and inside, the lights and decorations transport you to another place. The recommendation of the waiter ILISHA was exactly what I was looking for. In conclusion, I love this place and I will recommend it to all of my friends to try this place and have the same experience as me.

the restaurant has a great interior design. The ambience and vibe are great. We had the chicken curry as a main course and it was very tasty. The live show was also great, the girls put on a great show. Next to the building there is also a parking garage and valet.

We visited this first - class Pan African restaurant on a Sunday, 3rd December. The Hostess at the lobby was very welcoming and professional, she escorted us to our table and immediately a waitress approached us, offering us a drink and food menu.(separately) Their menu is accommodating, if you are a vegetarian or like meat, gluten free or need any adjustments to your meal,go for it!! they prioritize on customers satisfaction. I like the fact that they have a variety of fresh juices so refreshing and their cocktails are served in coconut shells very unique and beautiful. I literally went to try Nigerian food. I had heard alot about Egusi soup and Pounded yam so I decided to give it a shot and it turned out to be the best decision I made that night. The food was extremely delicious.!!! The service was great! We were attended to by different waiters in black,so friendly knowledgeable, fast and reliable, making the service flawless. Their team work was admirable. The music wasn't as good as I expected probably because am a die-hard fan of Nigerian Afrobeat and it was the least played music. Actually, the Dj started playing Nigerian music at 2am and they close at 3am. I was disappointed. They had a live performance which I didn't find the group engaging or enthusiastic. I have seen better live performances. Otherwise, considering that we have different music preferences, this is my opinion. Overall, for anyone looking to explore African cuisine in the heart of Dubai, Kiza is the place!!!! Thank you.
