That was a strange feeling. Despite of the simple place and disposable tableware the food was very good. I ordered a squid soup and sea food mix. Seafood was served with rice as side dish, lemons, onions, greens and cucumbers and a spicy sauce made of freshly squeezed tomatoes juice, garlic and other spices. Be aware that this is cash only restaurant. No cards are accepted. I had to come back after withdrawing some cash. No regrets.

If you ever looking for an authentic Emirati seafood joint, your search is over! This place will give you the full experience of dining in an atmosphere that we did back in the good old days, the food is exactly how I remember it when I was a kid! I usually don’t like to eat seafood in restaurants because they never make it our way but this place made me happy, it is 40 years old and it is owned by one of the loved Emirati actor. The prices are very reasonable for the portion you will get and the ambience is nostalgic.

Always impressive place to have truly fresh seafood. I recommend this place strongly. It is owned by a local actor and it is designed traditionally. There is a space for family and kids as well. It is the only branch.

If there’s 0 i would chose it for this restaurant, we went yesterday and it was our first time there , the service is bad, the food quantity and quality is very low, as we ordered mix grill and it came like this 100 gram meal as picture attached, i wonder how people recommend this restaurant.

Authentic, Emarati, cozy. Very delicious shark meat. White rice was deliciously fluffy and fragrant. Octopus soup took my breath away - an absolute must try! We been given with the family room. Had our lunch and left. Seamless, tasty, reasonable price. Next time will try fish

Restaurant appearance is not as expected. Old style is followed. No water is provided nor i could find a box of tissue on table. Food is average and overpriced for the quantity served. I ordered seafood platter for 52AED and medium seabream grill for 47AED. No masala is used just salt only. Food: Average Service: Poor Price: Overpriced Ambience: Poor Only cash accepted

Wadi Al Neel - Emirati sea food restuarant in UMM UL QUWAIN. This place serves authentic fish meals prepared in traditional Emirati cooking setup. We ordered Seafood soup and Sea bream grill. It was very disappointment both are not good. Seafood fish soup made with frozen fish cuts. Not fresh taste and fish grill is made with not masala. May be I am a masala person, the fish grill cooked in a traditional Emirati Tanoor style. Fish grill just grilled with salt only. Not our kinda taste. Not preferred Indian fish lovers. May be good for local and other nationalities

Great food, very authentic seafood with acceptable prices! Always busy place so expect 10-15 min delay in order.

I heard a lot about this restaurant and I was curious to try a sea food there. The service was very nice with a friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere plus to all easy to find parking slots outside. As to the food it was quite ordinary taste and not that much wow. And I didn’t like them having no machine to swipe the card so only cash is accepted.

A traditional Seafood restaurant...Fish grilled without any kind of spice or fried...served with Arabic bread & hummos or biriyani rice...seabream, biya, sheri and safi are the kind of fish served here...

This is my mom’s favorite seafood restaurant, we order a mixed platter of fried seafood and it was delicious. The only drawback is that the worker had difficulty in communication due to the language barrier but that can be resolved easily.

Recommended to me by a local cyclist who also came to watch the UAE Tour 2023 finale in Umm al Quwain. It was a bit more rustic than I expected, but the sea bream was beautifully cooked, and not overdone as many restaurants will do. Sure the place is from another era - but that's part of it's charm. Long may it continue!

A seafood restaurant, Old fashion restaurant (chairs and tables of plastic), but the food gits all the points, We go especially from dubai to it.

Super cool restaurant. The decor is so old school like a hut 🛖. Usually for 2, I spend between 100-150 dhs. Seafood soup is what I specifically travel for from Dubai to UAQ.

It's a hyped up place by the reviews. I went there today and had the mix seafood and the soup, food tasted averaged, and the service wasn't that great. The place wasnt clean either. I ordered bitiyani rice and just received plain rice only. Moreover, the quantity was less for the price that you pay. The hype made from the reviews is not real. 😐

It is not appropriate for families. Family are is very disrespectful with the family members because they move you to a small old room if you compare with the area that they have for men alone. They should improve the areas for families.

Looking for some authentic and good sea food we went to this great restaurant. First of all if you are looking for something fancy you are wrong at this place! But if you want fresh sea food for a very affordable price this is your restaurant. The Sheri was fresh and perfectly fried, great fish eggs and a really good Squid Soup ( thank you very much for the recommendation!) Friendly staff and also guests. Just one of these little places in UAE with nice food in an easy and traditional set up. Go there if you want to try some authentic fish dishes!

If you are in UAQ or anywhere near it’s worth a visit. Speciality is seafood /emarati food … i recommend ordering the Jasheed it comes with white rice a plate of salad(cut green leaves/cucmber/onion/tomato) and samn kind of gee… grilled sea bream… and many other dishes are delicious price is affordable for the quantity of food given. Don’t expect something wow inside but it is delicious They only take cash
