I faced a very bad experience today. I rushed my daughter to the hospital around 7.30pm with high fever. I had to wait for almost 2.5 hours for consultation and another 30 minutes at the pharmacy. To be honest it was so frustrating and unacceptable to be waiting that long with 2 kids. Very bad in servicing patients. I will not recommend this hospital to anyone rushing for emergency. Please improve your service for better treatment of patients. Please ensure to satisfy the patients needs and requirements.

Excellent facility, new medical equipment but poor communication and care from medical and admin staff. we are not able to reach the doctor who suppose to do operation for my child. we booked appointment and waited more than one month because doctor is on vacation. they called us one week before the operation date to agree the operation price which was very expensive and more than what the doctor told us. we asked to connect us to the doctor but they said it is not possible. Operation appointment canceled!!! after we have spent a lot of money to attend their requests to do many tests for my child and done many paid visits they are not able to let us talk to the doctor to clarify the operation procedure and costs. we have spent many months with them and till today my child have problem. such facility dedicated to children should give more customer care rather than thinking on business income only. we will have to go to another doctor and have new challenge and pay again. Medical care still need more improvement. it is not only about having latest expensive medical equipment rather than having passionate and dedicated medical team who CARES about patients.

Lot of time is consumed in the registration and hospital insurance team take too much time to send the request to Patient insurance. It can be make faster so that patient gets good service in terms of registration/ insurance and no waiting time. This is best facility but same time best service is required. Hope someone read this and understand and implement.

My daughter got admitted to this Hospital through Emergency, and our overall experience starting from the Reception, Examination room, Admission room, the Doctors and Nurses, treatments with the routine checkups and housekeeping are exceptional. Our baby got discharged on the 4th day after full recovery, and we are so happy with the professional services Al Jalila Hospital offered to us. Keep up the great work by keeping the future of this generation healthy!

Here I will very objective to leave my comments: the hospital has beautiful facility and location, but the Dr. and service is really really poor. Recently my experience happened because I have two son all catches flue in deferent time to visit the hospital. But both are bad experience. 1. The Dr. there careless the patients to charting with local customer for more than 45 mins to let other patients waiting at queue. 2. Without patients approval to do any test. 3.change appointment without any reasons 4. Test result after a week no one to update. Overall my experience the hospital just has a good name to cheat patients to visit. Not responsible to patients at all. Just be careful your choice

Dr Naseema in emergency ward. I took my child to emergency and my bad luck she was the dr that day on duty. I explained to her my child has high fever from past two days and it’s continuous. She came like she did a favor on me checked the child in less than 3 minutes and said it’s unspecified virus there are so many kinds of virus when I tried to discuss with her she showed me that she is busy and cut me out and left. My child continued with fever bcuz she didn’t do any investigation knowing that his fever is 40. And said it’s fine just viral the next day when I took my child to latifa hospital the pediatrician immediately did his blood test and find out that his crp is dangerously high and he needs to be admitted for further investigation. My child’s crp was 112. This dr without doing any investigation send my child home saying it’s viral a 1.5 year old with an infection of 112. Worst doctor . Shame on her! Never take your child to her. The hospital should take an action how can you say it’s viral without any investigation. Worst doctor ever. Dr Naseema.

(Translated by Google) I don’t know what to write, but as a pediatric hospital there must be greater caution and greater accuracy. The emergency department is both training and experiments for pediatric nurses. Next, I know that no catheter can be done by anyone but a doctor at Al Jalila Hospital, a normal nurse who works the catheter even if she is a beginner The duty doctor in the emergency department is normal, he suddenly leaves you under the pretext of the end of work without any notification, I mean, suddenly, the change of the doctor will meet, and you have to explain your child's condition again to the new doctor. Regarding the radiology department, the employee in charge of the appointments is always busy with the phone and lost a week until I was able to make an appointment for my daughter. Other than that, you have to pay 3000 dirhams insurance before your child goes to the hospital, and the time you want to return the amount means it is impossible. Then the employee became with me in a small amount. They accepted the insurance, and we would deduct from the 3000 of course the amount is 700 dirhams. I objected and said, send the correspondence with the insurance. Be careful, and you will return the full amount ... !!!! I mean, I don't know what was the purpose of this movement, is it negligence or something?

If i can give zero stars i would! Terrible terrible service! The WORST pediatric emergency services I’ve ever seen in my life. I went in last night with a semi unconscious child (extremely high fever almost 41 degrees), we were both covered in vomit. Upon entry to the EMERGENCY room i was told to register the child and that the expected wait time is ONE HOUR TO AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! According to the gentleman at the reception, he figured they will give my daughter a painkiller while we wait almost two hours for a doctor to be available to see her?! Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. In addition to all of the above, he thought it is more appropriate for him to be discussing the cost of the visit and the charge to see the doctor?! Absolutely ridiculous. Will never go back there and I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone.

The hospital was a five star till 2019, after that date it became a complete disaster from the moment you step in. Nobody seems to know what direction to give you, appointment tickets are a disaster , when I was fed up with the bad service , I paid 300 Dhs online to take my Children’s medical file . They never sent it via email , as I had indicated when I paid . I called they said they don’t know how to send it and that I should go personally and promised it will be ready . When I went of course it was not ready , every person I asked didn’t know where to send me, had to wait one hour until it was ready , when I arrived to the new clinic I realized they didn’t even put the whole medical file (imaging) ….very VERY disappointed , the hospital truly doesn’t align with Dubai’s visionaries .

The hospital overall is good but the waiting time which take around 3 hours is not bearable, I would expect from the emergency to be more efficient with addressing patients, I am writing this message and I am still seated which means I will take me another 1 hour! Not to forget that my daughter is really sick and tired !! I wish they work on something to reduce the 3 hours waiting time in the emergency ! As well as I wish that they work on enhancing the waiting area as it is really small and the people are seated next to each other, I can step in with a flue and step out with a new virus from other people.

I took my daughter because she had fever, they said they needed to run some tests, that most likely was a viral infection so nothing to worry. They did the tests, charge me over 2500 aed and send me home with zimax antibiotic for 5 days. The day after they call me and told me I need to go urgently because my daughter has an infection in the blood and it’s very dangerous. So I ran to hospital and they told me that before they could do anything I needed to provide a deposit of 15,000 aed to do the tests again and admit her. I pay and then they perform the same tests again and an extra covid test (even i arrived with one of 48hrs negative) and send her to a room. After 2 days there with my daughter being good with almost no fever and antibiotics, eating by herself and playing perfectly they said that it was a mistake, that the nurses contaminated the sample and it was just a mild viral infection so I could go home and just take augmenting for 5 more days. I went to check the payment and it was 10,000 aed and they were charging me again all the tests even the ones they perform wrong. It was a complete case of malpractice and I went to talk to management next morning. They said they will revise and call me back. They haven’t call me back, they still ow me money and they didn’t discount so far anything for their mistakes. Extremely bad experience.

I faced a very bad experience today. I rushed my daughter to the hospital around 3.15AM for Vomiting & Diarrhea. I had to wait for almost 2.5 hours for consultation, Hence couldn't consult the doctor in anyways. Clinic staff are also very impolite & discourteous, will not recommend this hospital to anyone rushing for emergency as there is no quick emergency response. Please improve your customer service for better treatment of patient needs and requirements.

Such an amazing facility and the potential to grow far beyond. The vision is to make it an international facility to treat patient from all over the GCC and from other countries as well. Very professional and dedicated staff who does not shy away from going extra mile to make sure the patients get their right treatment and best possible care. The facility is growing as it is only 2 years old at the moment but they have already achieved so much already.

Dear parent don't waste your time not your children, at this place they don't deserve even 1 start, didn't even get the chance my son to be seen, after calling so many times sending mails and requests for an appointment with neurodevelopmental specialist they only said the concerning department will get in contact, and so and so for months and months. They believe is charity, I guess. Impressive facilities only to keep their staff entertained drinking tea and on their phones. Well done Al Jalila, keep on going, one day it will reach the bottom of the pocket.

I have visited pulmonary clinic for the first time for my son treatment, The hospital was very clean, reception staff she was alone and was friendly and provided the main information that we require, the pulmonary clinic doctors and team was very good ( Dr. Fatima & AbdulRahman ) provided details of health information and feedback. I appreciate that Dr. Fatima she gave well enough time to discuss the health related issues and care procedures for my son..(thanks) Thanks to everyone

We have been going to this hospital for 2 years and the pharmacy has the worst service consistently every time we have to go. You will wait at least an hour to be serviced and then they will say they don’t see approvals from insurance, and then you chase the insurance to hear the medication was already approved. They never answer the telephone; they don’t respond even after they colleagues email them to follow-up, and the only time we get the medication is after multiple attempts or involving the Manager. They really need to evaluate their systems and people in place in the pharmacy. I would avoid this pharmacy if you need to receive routine medications from them. We are finally leaving this hospital, though my daughter’s physician is amazing, all because of the painful experiences dealing with their pharmacy. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. I would give them a 1/4 star.

Brilliant facility but a huge gap in communication. I Visited the hospital 4 weeks back for my son's checkup and the doctor suggested urine and blood tests. We did those test the same time and once we done the Nurse asks us to leave. Before leaving i asked the Nurse that when do expect the result- she said the doctor himself will call you. We left the hospital and was waiting for the call, i got no calls neither an sms about the reports. I followed up after two weeks and raised my concern to the call center team. they got back to me that the doctor will call you. Now after all after 4 weeks in total i am still waiting for my kids results to be discussed with me. i did call today to ask again and the call center spoke to the doctor and informed me again to wait for doctor call. God know how long i should be waiting.

Impressive looking facility but frankly let down by the extremely poor administrative services. Extremely efficient when it comes to collecting money upfront for consultations and scans though. If only they gave patient-centric communication as much attention as they give billing. Scheduling appointments are just complete nightmares, not something a parent should really have to focus on and continuously chase up on. Hardly any way to reach anybody except the hotline which is very good at picking up the phone but not good at getting you any answers, messages passed repeatedly through the hotline get lost in translation. Resorted to having to head to each department in person and demand to see the Doctors in person who end up making their own appointments. Maybe Doctors are really as good as word has it out in the market given their global experience but I honestly would not recommend this hospital to anyone. The hospital is so horribly run that it does not give me assurance in its care for my child. Shout out to the utterly useless happiness counter set up at the entrance of the hospital. They can’t help with any queries at all, they don’t even try, just directs you to join the long queue at registration.

The worst hospital i ever experience in my whole life. We always facing delay of receiving our daughter control medication. The communication between the doctors and the pharmacy is very low. When i ever call the call center to follow up with regards my daughter medicine , they always told me the pharmacy will call you to collect the medicine then we don’t receive any calls . They don’t even think how risky when suddenly your son/ daughter stop taking the medication. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Today, I took my four-month-old baby to this hospital. They directed us to the emergency department. but my baby did not have an emergency problem, it was a simple cold. After waiting for an hour and paying an exorbitant fee of 450 dirhams🤕, the doctor came with two students and . He behaves like a laboratory rat, as if there is more of a classroom than an emergency room, and that student almost threw my baby out of bed😱. It is terrible 😤 that such a specialized hospital for newborns has such incompetent staff and the costs are unaccountably high without providing proper services. I will not never go there and I am complaining about the hospital with excessive costs 😡

During heart surgery, the cardiologist ruptured tricuspid valve of my six months old daughter and they don't have courtesy and moral courage to accept their fault. This is a permanent damage which she has to carry for her entire life unless she undergoes for one more surgery which is not advisable. To keep her heart in a stable condition, she will be on medicines for her entire life. I must say this is a great facility built by Dubai Government, hats off to ruler of Dubai but unfortunately full of incompetent doctors.

Treatment was good. Doctors and staff did their job well. Only concern is pharmacy team is not at all attending the phone call, so each time we have to come to the hospital even to know medicine is available or not. Kindly look into the matter , so that we can avoid coming to the pharmacy often.

Past two years my daughter had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Anjan and his team and I must say, he is an exceptional doctor. From my first encounter with him,I was impressed by his genuine interest in my daughter’s well-being. I felt that he listened to our concerns and took the time to answer all of our questions. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and precise in his examination, diagnosis, and treatment. I am glad to say that I got the correct diagnosis because of his attention to detail. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Anjan to anyone looking for a competent and caring Kids Hematology Specialist. He truly embodies what a great doctor should be, and I am grateful for his help and expertise.

Worst experience faced at Al Jalila Hospital. Would never advise any parent this hospital. They will simply ask you to visit emergency ward with your child, even if there is no need for it and charge 450aed without providing any service in the name of emergency ward fee. Customer Care department is on next level of unprofessionalism, neither they will take up calls nor will revert over mails. It's better to go to some private hospitals or even to some small private clinics at least people will get service. Here hospital is just charging charging and charging.

Our son was sick during our visit to Dubai and we had a wonderful experience here. The doctor was wonderful. She was very professional with us and silly/fun with our son. She won his trust in seconds and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. Also, it's worth noting, it's a beautiful facility.

We went there with one of our children late at night due to an potential emergency and were very impressed how fast we could see a doctor. Took not longer than 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful too. The price for going there was reasonable as well (about 400 AED). So a big thank you to the hospital staff, the government and people of Dubai.

I want to give Dr. Anjan a well-deserved 5-star rating! After reading recent Google reviews, I wanted to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude once again for the exceptional care you provided to my son back in 2014. Your accurate diagnosis and treatment made a profound difference in our lives, and the memory of your kindness and expertise has stayed with me all these years. Your willingness to answer my questions and provide explanations when I reached out earlier this year is a testament to your dedication to your patients. Thank you for being an outstanding doctor and a kind-hearted individual. Wishing you all the best in everything you do. Thank you once again for everything.

Clinics are only open 4 days a week for couple of hours in the morning which is during parent working hours and school timing which doesnt make sense. Such a big hospital and there are no evening clinics. Staff are not friendly and most of the counters are empty so good luck waiting for insurance approval and stuff.

During a visit to your hospital, we mistakenly arrived at the wrong hospital due to a misunderstanding with Google Maps. However, our situation was not handled well. Despite seeking immediate attention for my sister's first-degree burns, no one redirected us or offered assistance. The doctor we encountered seemed dismissive of her pain and asked her to take and apply Mibo ointment!!!!.. We sought treatment elsewhere and received prompt care. I urge you to improve the response of your emergency room, ensuring patients are guided appropriately and shown compassion regardless of their condition. It is essential to implement a more effective communication system to provide necessary care in distressing situations.

Such an iconic children hospital facility, I never seen this place to be crowded... it seems it is planned to cater for future demands too... emergency staff are extremely friendly and helpful, in emergency you will find two places with kids toys and playgrounds, it helps kids get distracted from the pain.... There’s also a cafe and kids store (toys r us).

Was there this morning to meet a doctor. The security guard at the main reception is the most illmannered person I have ever seen. Very bad attitude. Was acting like I am doing something illegal by going to the hospital. Had to call the nice doctor to the reception to get past her. Should be changed and better training is needed by the hospital for their staff

The worst pharmacy I have ever seen. I gave 1 star only for the pharmacy and Rehabilitation dept (appointment staff). Although the doctor and nurses are great. If you don't call or come back to the pharmacy for your medicines, then they will not follow it up. The pharmacy staffs are so careless, especially the 2 ladies. I wish I can take my medicines elsewhere and never get involved with them.

One of the best children's specialty hospitals in UAE. From the reception to dr consultation and to pharmacy was a excellent experience for us. They have most of the Paediatrics specialists doctors there. Hospital was quite , calm and in a easily locatable place( just beside the Latifa Hospital). I never sat with any other doctors such a long time. They have asked everything they wanted to know about our child and his disease. I recommend this hospital.

We just realized the Al Jalila Children's Speciality Hospital exists although it has been there for a few years now, the Hospital looks advanced and the staff are nice, we where there to see a pediatric Nephrologist who was great. I felt that dressing the security staff with costumes that look fun for children was very nice, their ambulances are also designed to suit the taste of kids whcih is very nice as well. 2 points I felt need improving were that too many ceiling lights weren't working which gave a bit of a bit of a dull ambience especially in the main waiting area by the reception and secondly the admin staff came across as a bit bored.

Firstly, Very poor customer service and unprofessional people assisting on the call center. They don’t know how to coordinate patients and never follow or update the customers. So difficult to reach the team who deal with feedbacks and suggestions. I feel some doctors are so arrogant and don’t really willing to help you with booking an appointment with them. Even Aster clinic is providing better services then Al Jalila hospital and follow up your request all the time andy if they don’t have some facilities they always inform you. Please do not waste your time and your money there.

We had a circumcision surgery for our son at surgery clinic. Everyone there is attentive and very nice, they know their job, they are very patient and positive. The ones who dont know their job is the front (main) reception when you enter the hospital. Our appointment was at 10am, we reached hospital at 9.30am and stayed waiting on reception for 30 minutes even they had only one customer to handle. They saw us standing with baby and none of them asked if we need help, none of them smiled, at the end when my husband approached by himself they were lazy to answer. They need a special training for customer service or they should change their job because its ruining the picture of the hospital from the start. This never happened to me in any other hospital.

My newborn 2 weeks old, I took him there for yeast infection, the doctor told me they need blood samples and need to stay 3 hours, after half hour two nurses came to take blood sample and they had no experience with babies and they were bending babies ankle very hard, made by baby cry for almost 20 minutes, they only removed drop of blood. They insisted to take three containers blood. I had to cancel the treatment. Alhamadullah I took my baby to nad al hamar clinic and only 20 minutes checking no blood sample and no 3 hours waiting. I hope the authorities re exam the medical staff.

Our baby has been admitted in this hospital already 2 months and still we are half way, of course arriving in this kind of hospitals is always not a good moment in life, we felt lost and with very less hopes but then the kindness and knowledge of Dr Anjan from Oncology , since the first moment he met us , made our hopes more stronger, he always spends long time with us to make sure the parents understand what is going on, what will be the process and the protocol, even if he is very busy he will still seat with you for nearly one hour to explain, give moral support and his positively made us feeling that we been in the best hands in Dubai. We believe that at the end of this very difficult path in life for our family all will be good and we can all forget about this. Thanks again Dr Anjan and colleagues and all the team in general for the hard work and to make a family hoping again for the best future of their baby.

Based on two visits, I would rate this hospital as mediocre. While the nurses and doctors are friendly and professional, the support staff was rather rude (e.g. “why did you forget your medical card!?”) and the wait time is long. A plus is that the basic medical services are cheaper than other hospitals. However, my biggest complaint is the layout, which is a disaster. Both times I got lost trying to find the Emergency Room (the original Emergency Entrance has a Closed sign and one must now enter through the Ambulance Parking). I strongly recommend improved signage (e.g. big red sign with EMERGENCY ENTRANCE) as a first step to improvement.

Dr Nando is doctor with good knowledge he reassured me about my child and calmed me down. Both doctors answered our questions with patience, and what’s important to me is that they were kind and playful with my child making my child feel comfortable. The hospital decorations were really appealing to my child. Overall the experience was good

Only hyped with social media and radio ads however the worst every place to take your child. Rude and arrogant staff at the reception and customer service and to make things worse the Doctor was a quack. Saw Dr. Thaer Hamr how was treating a 4 year old with no empathy and was extremely rough. He was in a hurry to give her a strong medication for Gastroenteric which if did not work in 30 minutes wanted us to admit the child in the Emergency. There was more of a fear tactic to make money. He was easily convinced to not provide the medicine and gave us a prescription. The pharmacy was worse with them not having the required medicines and telling us that the insurance has declined the prescription - of course as the medication prescribed for not even suitable for children. Very very bad experience and a waste of 2 hours there

The Security Services employed at this World Famous Prestigious Hospital has to be upgraded urgently !!! as I entered the hospital from the main entrance at 12 Noon on the 17 September 2022, a short stout nepalese lady in a security jacket without a proper uniform, no cap, jumped up and very rudely asked me, " Hey You Have Baby" I very politely replied : "yes I have a patient here but am not going upto the ward but will talk to them from the waiting area downstairs". She again very rudely replied : " This my duty". Never gave me a chance to speak up but kept on raising her voice continuously. The Ruler of Dubai maintains very high standards and his vision is the "WORLD'S BEST". I feel the hospital authorities have to intervene in recruiting personnel with a proper attitude.

We took our son for fundoscopy at the ophthalmology department and we were extremely happy with the whole experience. Dr Alan Mulvihill is an exceptional professional who takes his time to explain everything and reassure you about the whole procedure , his nurse Jojo as well went above and beyond not only helping with the procedure but making sure that everything went fine once it finalized ( she stayed with me although her shift finished and provided a full assessment). The ophthalmologist lady as well was very helpful and lovely. We are really glad that we chose Al Jalila.

Parking is a disaster. There is never enough. Most recently I was there on a Tuesday for a 10am appointment. I arrived 20 minutes early because I know parking is an issue. There were about 50 cars parked illegally and another 50 stopped waiting or circling the parking lot. I had to cancel a specialist appointment I’ve been waiting 7 months to secure. The doctors are great, but service is extremely slow. I will not be taking any of my children back here.

Went for an assessment and medical report on 04/09. Dr Suhair Abbas was very friendly and took time to explain. All the staff from reception(counter5) , nurse(sana),medical report desk and pharmacy(a male pharmacist) were very polite. Special mention reg the lady in customer happiness who took an extra effort to sort out the confusion of scanning and uploading documents. The most amazing thing was I was told I would get the report within 10 days. I received a complete report within 4 hours of my visit. Keep up the good work! I would however suggest that you have a staff dedicated just for scanning and uploading of documents to avoid any confusion

Horrible hospital keep charging money unnecessarily, nurses are not at their desks and are always roaming around, had to wait 6 hours to simply have the doctor come and told the nurses several times to call the doctor and he only came for 2 minutes, they charged 56k in two nights for one small simple and short surgery and one night in their room is 2k. way too expensive and not even proper treatment. Not recommended at all don’t go.

We have been seeing Dr. Christos Tzivinikos (pediatric gastroenterologist) and Hesham Mostafa (dietician) and they provide genuine patient-centric care. They're knowledgeable, down-to-earth, very patient and go out of the way to respond to our queries and concerns. I highly recommend them.
