Our
stay
could
have
been
way
better
(that's
what
we
expected)
considering
a
Luxury
5
stars
hotel.
For
starters,
the
welcome
glass
of
sparkling
wine
wasn't
offered,
instead
it
was
juice.
I
don't
think
the
staff
was
very
aware
of
the
different
packages
available,
the
same
happened
to
the
two
complimentary
drinks,
it
was
needed
to
communicate
on
several
occasions
between
staff
to
get
them.
The
first
day
we
decided
to
have
dinner
at
Baba
Al
Bahar.
Since
it
was
quite
windy,
we
chose
a
table
inside.
The
restaurant
was
packed
with
mosquitoes,
this
happened
on
the
second
day
in
the
room
too.
The
hotel
didn't
have
anything
to
counter
this
and
the
problem
was
created
from
having
the
automatic
door
open
instead
of
using
the
normal
way
of
it.
I
don't
think
that
personnel
should
be
using
that
main
door
if
that
creates
this
issue.
By
the
end
of
the
dinner
we
were
all
fully
bitten.
Then
we
moved
to
the
suite
(I'm
certain
the
hotel
has
had
complaints
about
this
before),
I
managed
to
have
less
than
4
HOURS
of
sleep
thanks
to
the
suite
being
located
just
right
above
three
night
clubs,
bedhead
right
against
the
wall
towards
them,
not
only
noise
from
them,
but
also
people
fighting
outside.
I
brought
this
to
the
attention
of
the
supervisor,
but
of
course
I
wouldn't
change
rooms
at
2am,
so
had
to
wait
until
the
next
day.
Noise
insulation
was
absent,
so
I
suggest
you
do
something
either
insulating
those
rooms
or
deal
with
the
next
door
hotel/nightclubs
if
you
want
to
fix
this
issue.
Smaller
issues,
but
still
worth
mentioning,
the
contactless
key
feature
didn't
work.
I
don't
know
why,
but
my
stay
in
the
Marriott
Bonboy
app
has
been
reduced
from
3
to
2
nights.
I've
informed
the
hotel
to
let
Marriott
know,
since
I
don't
want
issues
adding
my
nights
or
incidentals.
Lastly,
I'd
like
for
you
to
know
that
for
the
issues
we
had,
offering
tea/coffee
to
a
gold
member
(or
anyone
to
be
honest)
who
lost
a
full
night
of
sleep
felt
disrespectful.
We
are
talking
about
over
400$
(tax
and
service
charge
not
included)
room,
I
wasn't
expecting
this
from
a
LUXURY
Marriott
hotel.
All
wasn't
bad,
room
cleaners,
hotel
staff
tried
their
best
and
were
good,
the
chefs
(food
in
the
restaurants
-Baba
Al
Bahar
and
Mejana-
and
also
room
service)
were
excellent,
that
was
by
far
the
best
the
hotel
offered
to
us.
