Great place to stay if your going to Dubai, staff are excellent, food is really good and rooms are really good. I read some of the negative reviews before we booked and am so glad we made up our own mind. People moaning about water in the room, just ask whomever is looking after your room and you’ll get loads, People moaning about the buffet, there is loads of choices. We had half board this time but would definitely do all inclusive next time. Pool is great and the pool staff are really good and very helpful. The free shuttle bus from the hotel to the Dubai mall leaves at midday then picks up at 8 pm at the mall , but if you’re clever you can use it to explore the centre of Dubai by getting on the train at the mall and travelling around for little money. We arrived at 7am due to BA flight debacle and they let us check in and have a room eight hours early , I’ve said above but it’s worth repeating the staff are excellent and couldn’t do enough for you.

Just checked in today. All our requests were ignored. Nobody even tried to understand them. My husband has severe allergies to dust and feather, we informed about it during check in, the guy assured us they would be removed, still when we got to the room, everything (duvet, pillows) was with feather. Old dirty and dusty carpets in the room, old stained furniture (see pictures). My request to change the room was again ignored. They told me “the housekeeping said the room was clean”. This is how they treat customers here. Before that we stayed in Fairmont and they were going far and beyond. Here they simply don’t care. Update: management offered several other rooms, but they were all more or less the same, so we stayed in ours. Also I want to especially thank the waiter Noel, always positive, smiling, ready to help. He made our trip really memorable! Very rarely you can meet such a bright personality.

The hotel provides a fantastic vacation experience. Staff were always enthusiastic and went out of their way. The beach is spotless, as is the pool. The upgrade to a suite was highly appreciated as the huge balcony, living room and massive bathroom were just so nice. Biggest downside are the surroundings - still a lot under development and hardly a vibrant waterfront.

We arrived at the Ajman Saray at 02.00 having been up for getting on for 24 hours. The check in staff, rather than just checking us in, rattled through what we could and couldn't do and where we could and couldn't eat, ultimately trying to sell us an upgrade. I found this very unprofessional. The room was very good indeed. High quality furnishings with a huge walk in shower, bath tub and double wash basin. A very comfortable bed, desk, seating area and walk in wardrobe. Unfortunately the sheets did not fit the bed. After being told that we could upgrade to a sea facing room it transpired that our room, as it was a corner room, faced both the sea and the town which gave wonderful views from the balcony. The buffet restaurant is OK but the choice is limited. The pool area is good. The sun beds are very comfortable and there's no restriction on towels. The bar staff and pool staff are excellent. The outdoor restaurant is first rate. A llittle odd that you aren't allowed to wear a t shirt whilst in the pool. All the communal areas are absolutely pristine. Perfectly adequate gym which is fully air conditioned. There's a few coffee bars and restaurants facing the hotel and it's a short stroll to the corniche and marina.

Bad experience!! We have completed the online booking and prepaid the payment as shown in the Booking application. When we came to the hotel for the check-in procedures, the employee told us that the payment was not done online and now we have to pay.. The employee was misbehaving and spoke in an inappropriate manner.. That is because we asked to pay by card later so that we can check on the website why the amount was not withdrawn online.. The experience was Very bad, knowing that on the same day we had booked for a party in the same hotel, but the management did not take this into account... As for the wedding, the staff's style was worse... No request was made, neither in terms of the cooling system, nor the buffet, nor the organization of entry and exit from The lounge..a guest slipped on the floor in the buffet area due to the food not being cleaned.. knowing that the buffet had been closed and finished some time ago when one of the guests slipped.. in general the experience was not satisfactory and we will not go back there again.. I do not encourage Anyone have a party in this hotel

Well after nearly two weeks at the Ajman Saray, I wasn’t going to leave a review about the good and bad things about this hotel. The staff are 100% polite friendly and attentive to your ever needs even when people are complaining about the trivial things they smile and try to help them. And I mean trivial! The breakfast buffet is fantastic and if you can’t find what you want they are only too pleased to help again. But the choice even after two weeks is more than enough. The room is on another level clean tidy and no detail left to chance. The house keeper is polite and friendly. Would I recommend this hotel I would like to say no but I’m just being selfish and what to keep it to myself. Of course I would recommend it and already looking to coming back. Now for the bad !!!!! I have to go home.

I always love to stay in this hotel. I love the spa too. Although last time, i went there only for a brunch, and to my surprise the food was not good at all, most of the food was served cold and tasteless. The restaurant location though is nice and staff are friendly. I would go again but not for brunch.

Quite disappointed with my visit. Not a place to go with kids - booked 2 rooms in advance on arrival there were not even rooms on one floor not even connected. The team was trying to sell an upgrade instead of acknowledge a mistake of poor planning - no inflated toys are allowed in the pool - main pool is cold, warm one is a small one where no kids are allowed - no kids playground, only kids club with a few old toys - “all inclusive “ package sold is actually “full board” - limited timing for drinks, no snack, limited menu. Would happily exchange alcoholic drinks to kids ice cream in the pool - old rooms, very loud pipes

A compact resort with a fairly small beachfront. But the views are breathtaking! Every sea view room faces the setting sun so sunset views from the balcony is awesome! Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Balcony space is generous too. The beach has shallow waters - so needs to wade quite far for a serious swim! Service is friendly, attentive and gracious here. Would definitely come here again.

Beautiful hotel with direct access to the beach. Nice and very helpful service. The rooms were spacious, ours had a bathroom overlooking the sea, simply stunning view. You can order an inscription in the sand for some important occasion, one day it was an engagement, another day it was a birthday. Very rich selection of breakfast offer. We had a such a lovely time, it was wonderful! Thank you to all amazing staff.

Huge problem with the service in the restaurant. In the morning for breakfast, I waited for fried eggs more than 20 minutes. I contacted manager of the restaurant, nothing changed. As a result, they apologized and brought a plate when everyone had already eaten. There is nothing to eat for lunch, everything is spicy and nothing to feed child. The restaurant hall is still full of guests, the time for end of launch is more than hour, and half of the bowls of food are already empty. This service does not deserve 5 stars at all. Worse than at 3. The waiters are incompetent, slow and if you don't order drinks, they lose interest in you as a guest. Very unpleasant. Also several people complain about the lack of service in the restaurant.

I have been to 38 countries and stayed at multiple Marriott properties as a Platinum member. This hotel is the best hotel I stayed at, hats down to the management team and service personnel. Rooms are clean, spacious and with a nice decor. Beach is outstanding and Persian Gulf is warm and pleasure to swim in. So refreshing! Food is just outstanding, the chefs think about every dish and make it so tasteful and flavorful. Hotel personnel is so welcoming, a truly amazing team of professionals. We did an excursion in the desert, which was very memorable. The hotel offers daily shuttle to Dubai mall if you are into shopping. The whole experience from greeting you in the lobby, to our complementary upgrade to daily service was just out of this world. Thank you, Ajman Saray team!

We stayed at Ajman Saray for two nights recently and here are my observations: It is not a very big property, although it's clean and tidy. There are limited eating options with one cafe, one all day dining restaurant, one beach side restaurant and an Indian/ Arabic place..We tried dinner at the Indian/ Arabic place and they took over 45 minutes to serve us on the first night with our order being incorrect, we had ordered for chicken biryani and we were served prawn biryani. The sea side cafe had a limited menu to choose from but the spaghetti was delicious.. The hotel room was neat and clean however, the room was very warm although the AC was at 19 degrees throughout. The hotel toilet jet spray was leaking and wasn't fixed until on day two we tried fixing it ourselves. The hotel staff are very courteous and helpful. We did enjoy the pool side drinks and snacks and our time outdoors at the beach. They have two small pools compared to other properties but they aren't too bad. Just it was crowded with a lot of other guests as well. The bedsheets were stained and not purely white so that was a shame..Food and drinks were reasonably priced and so is the room and hence it's not very expensive on the pockets. So if you are looking for a so so vacation it's a good place to go although wouldn't recommend staying for longer as you would get bored as there isn't much to do. The kids play area is so really small kids so our 9 yr old couldn't do much there. We did play a few games of snakes and ladders to keep him occupied..The table tennis is in the open and as the weather was very hot we could not use the table.. The breakfast spread was great so do include breakfast with your room..

The resort was remarkable, the rooms were fabulous, and the people were SOOOO friendly. Also, they have the BEST cocktails I've ever had at any bar, at any restatement, at any hotel, in any country I've EVER been IN THE WORLD (and I've been to a lot of countries)!!! The room and 2 bathrooms 🤩had so many amenities and trinkets that I didn't even know I needed. Relaxing on the beach was so so comforting with such friendly and accommodating staff. When you need assistance (like towel, umbrella, or another drink), they have the buzzer at each table/ lounge chair where you don't have to chase down somebody just for service. The manager Neeraj was very helpful, and Patrick was very accommodating the poolside side! The food at the restaurants as well as breakfast were all tasty! I highly recommend recommend!

We took the romantic package and it was the best thing we did. The staff were very friendly and professional and tried their best to accommodate our needs and make our stay a memorable one. We had breakfast in room and it was amazing! The food was so fresh and delicious and so many selections definitely highly recommend option if you don’t feel like going out first thing in the morning. We had dinner at Mejhana restaurant in the hotel ( Indian/Middle Eastern cuisine) and the food and the service was spot on. However it is an indoor restaurant incase you fancy to sit outside. The hotel is very clean and quiet which we enjoyed thoroughly as it was our babymoon. However they also have a kids club and a play ground so for family it’s perfect too. The beach and the pools are very nice and clean too. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for a romantic escape or a family break.

Overall service, location is OK, but when it comes to service on the beach, it’s horrendous. First day you will be served to your satisfaction but come day 2 and thereafter, no one attends to you. They would ignore you on purpose even when you would place a service request or take 20 minutes to deliver your order while continuing to service people around you and the new comers. First time we encounter this at a Marriott property.

Had a great experience here, only 45 min drive from Dubai. My friend had a nice suite here overlooking the sea, the view is amazing overlooking the pool area and the water was turquoise. I tried the brekfast bufeet and liked the options, they definitely offered what is expected and service was good. The breakfast was open until 11am (which is very good!)

Went with family for a daycation with pool and beach access. There was miscommunication in the hotel reception and facilities team, reference to rates for certain members and guests. But they eventually obliged and gave us the concessions. The pools and beach were great, no complaints, even the pool bar and food were very nice. The major issue was the changing rooms access route and underwhelming changing room facilities, they definitely need to be improved. Overall, good value for the price (if you don't mind the crazy sharjah drive thru.)

Our stay could have been way better (that's what we expected) considering a Luxury 5 stars hotel. For starters, the welcome glass of sparkling wine wasn't offered, instead it was juice. I don't think the staff was very aware of the different packages available, the same happened to the two complimentary drinks, it was needed to communicate on several occasions between staff to get them. The first day we decided to have dinner at Baba Al Bahar. Since it was quite windy, we chose a table inside. The restaurant was packed with mosquitoes, this happened on the second day in the room too. The hotel didn't have anything to counter this and the problem was created from having the automatic door open instead of using the normal way of it. I don't think that personnel should be using that main door if that creates this issue. By the end of the dinner we were all fully bitten. Then we moved to the suite (I'm certain the hotel has had complaints about this before), I managed to have less than 4 HOURS of sleep thanks to the suite being located just right above three night clubs, bedhead right against the wall towards them, not only noise from them, but also people fighting outside. I brought this to the attention of the supervisor, but of course I wouldn't change rooms at 2am, so had to wait until the next day. Noise insulation was absent, so I suggest you do something either insulating those rooms or deal with the next door hotel/nightclubs if you want to fix this issue. Smaller issues, but still worth mentioning, the contactless key feature didn't work. I don't know why, but my stay in the Marriott Bonboy app has been reduced from 3 to 2 nights. I've informed the hotel to let Marriott know, since I don't want issues adding my nights or incidentals. Lastly, I'd like for you to know that for the issues we had, offering tea/coffee to a gold member (or anyone to be honest) who lost a full night of sleep felt disrespectful. We are talking about over 400$ (tax and service charge not included) room, I wasn't expecting this from a LUXURY Marriott hotel. All wasn't bad, room cleaners, hotel staff tried their best and were good, the chefs (food in the restaurants -Baba Al Bahar and Mejana- and also room service) were excellent, that was by far the best the hotel offered to us.

This is an exceptional hotel. Great staff and service. Unfortunately very picky about details such as scents. This hotel had a better atmosphere when it was serving oud scented incense and smelled like home. Now it’s something chemical and too disturbing for my taste. Hopefully it will change to the “bokhoour” incense.

The place is magical, i had the best weekend there, between the swimming pool, the bubbles pool and the beach. the great beautiful DJ who rocked the ambiance. the food in the restaurant next to the pool was so tasty. they accept entertainer promotion and i am telling you it's a great deal.

Poor not professional management destroy all beauty of the place .Before it used to be really lovely place with amazing service , not any more . Starting from receptionist , Russian speaking lady flirting with male guests and being extraordinary friendly , takes long time to check in and introduce all facilities , the moment sees female guests turn into short basic not friendly . Disappointing moment . Not trying to be personal with the guest and management ignore complaints . Lost and found department just killing . Property start losing well groomed look , cleaning poor. Only plus is the nice location with a lovely beach .

A wonderfully comfortable hotel. The service is exemplary and staff polite, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are well appointed and the choice of cuisine in the various restaurants comprehensive. Private beach area very relaxing and the pool clean and inviting. Highly recommended whether on holiday or business.

A 5 star Marriott resort in Ajman (one of two Marriott hotels in the city), with 200 plus rooms. The hotel’s facilities are very good and clean. The beach area is relatively smaller than nearby hotels but enough for all guests. The pool is neat and clean.

Was one day conference , Great location ,, Very elegant hotel. Excellent food catering. Came back on Sunday early morning for a one day pass.. The beach was clean with flufy white sand ,very well taken care of .. The swimming pool temperature was appropriate and has 3 pools ,one for kids and the other has water jets ,and the main one.. The lifeguards were very humble and kind .and caring , superb 👌. I would really give 5 stars rating, but the changing room was not at the level of this hotel. Shower doors were broken and had no privacy , and frankly, the whole changing room needed to be updated and taken care of .. I hope it will be done soon .. The breakfast staff were really kind and honored my elite status .. And the food was excellent .. I really enjoyed this morning , and if you see the attached photos, you will definitely like this place ..

I’ve stayed at many 5* hotels across the UAE and this is as good as any of them. Beautiful sea views. Excellent pool and beach area. Cuisine as good as anywhere and very reasonably priced. It’s my first time to Ajman. We typically go to Abu Dhabi or Dubai. But I think this is just as good and better value for money. I’d certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a beach / pool relaxing holiday with excellent food.

We have stayed at numerous 5* hotel in the past 20 years and this hotel is the best we have stayed at - 5* hotel with 5* service - best ever AI, Marriott should be proud of this hotel and it's staff and would definitely stay again.

Nothing less than a 5-star hotel indeed. 🥰 The plave was elegant and the unique golden interiors outshines others. Just a few steps upon entering you’d definitely see the pool and the beach. Quite relaxing and exciting site to see. The staff are very friendly and nice. Even if we are the only Filipinos there, they treated us well. I am really happy that my partner chose to spend her birthday here. Highly recommended indeed. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I had a relaxing and enjoyable short stay at the Ajman Saray. One of the biggest advantages is that it is fairly small in size so this is not an industrial scale mass tourism spot. There is a very nice beach area with sunbeds which makes for a sublime sunbathing/relaxing experience. Only improvement would be that some of the guests (notably German couples and families) will “reserve” the nicest sunbeds with towels. While there is a sign that this is not allowed, I wish the attendants would regularly clear unused towels and free up the spaces for people actually wanting to use the sunbeds. While you can order some food and drinks at the beach there are very few staff and the price/value proposition is questionable. The rooms are beautiful, although the term “creek view” is really deceptive. It suggests a view of a creek but in reality you view the entrance, a street, buildings and - in the background - the creek. Highly suggest getting the sea view room. Recognition as a Marriott Bonvoy elite member was not as expected. I did not receive an upgrade despite additionally booking through Amex Fine hotels & Resorts which also includes an upgrade based on availability. I was able to move to an upgraded room after showing the staff that rooms for upgrade were indeed available (bookable on website). This felt a bit disingenuous from the hotel’s side. There is a spa area which can be used for up to an hour by hotel guests. It was alright but they have motion sensors which randomly activate showers which was freaky and annoying. The concierges were extremely professional and friendly, you can definitely rely on their help for whatever you need during your stay. Truly 5*. The major drawback of this hotel was the Food and Beverage offering. They have several restaurants but will only open some if occupancy is high. There is a buffet restaurant which is also used by guests with an all inclusive package. I chose to eat in the Bab Al Bahr restaurant (al fresco near the beach). The setting is lovely but I had one problem after another with the food and drinks. Examples include forgotten side dishes, a cold main dish (at the price of 145 Dh = roughly 30 USD) etc. The high prices charged are just not justified and I think that hotel guests who are already paying a lot for their room should not be taken to the cleaners when dining. Especially since outside dining options are practically nonexistant. The breakfast offering was very nice including egg dishes made to order, real fresh orange juice, Arabic and Indian specialties and Western options. Overall I would stay here again if I got a good rate but would make sure to specify my wishes and standards with the dining staff in order to avoid disappointment.

One of my favorite hotels in the UAE. The staff is lovely, food and shisha are good, and the pool/beach are great! Kid friendly. They usually upgrade us and we have a great time. My only con is that when you pull up, the staff wants to immediately take your car vs letting you check in and go back to park.

The hotel itself is great can not fault it, the service and the staff is even batter, credit to everyone. Room 👍, sea view from our room 👍 food great 👍 and everything else great. The only thing we did not like was the distance to and from other tourist attractions. Clearly this is relaxing hotel. We loved it.

The Deluxe Sea View room was really great. Spacious, nice balcony and great sea view! The Bab al Bahr bar near the pool and beach is nice, seems to be quite new and it has a nice style. The buffet/breakfast restaurant on the other hand is not as nice. Pool and beach area is a bit small compared to the amount of guests the hotel can host, in my opinion. Overall good value for money though!

A five star for Mr Terence at the pool. So welcoming and accommodating. A 1 star for Mrs Felipa for the very rude welcome. We came on a Saturday morning 8am from Dubai for the day pool access and she asked if we called 1 hour earlier as it is fully booked. At 8 am? She asked if we are privilee members, no we are not. She asked to show our phone to prove we called. Is this 5 star service? We had called the previous day, they confirmed no booking needed, just come as early as possible as it might be busy. That’s it. So we came at the opening. It’s ok if you are busy but at least be polite to the people who drove all the way from dubai. Thanks to Terence as we had done the drive, We could pay our access and enter. Very disappointed 😔 will check if all the chairs are taken towards the day and update.

Had a comfortable stay at the Ajman Saray. Comes with a private beach with warm water even in the morning. Building is Middle Eastern themed and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our stay was just amazing! For couples who want to relax its a perfect place! The staff is absolutely remarkable! All of them did their best to make our holidays great. The rooms are spacious and always perfectly clean. Unfortunately we can not remember all the names of the people, anyhow a very special thanks to Uttham from the Pool, Andy from the Bar, the Concierge who helped us to get our luggage from the airport as well as the great team from the arabian restaurant!

Me and my partner went to Ajman Saray for 10 days and it was a lovely experience! The swimming pool and beach were great, the food was really good (specially the breakfast), all the Christmas decorations were amazing, the resort is beautiful, the rooms are big and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful, specially Nagaraju who provided an amazing service, always prompt to help! The location is great by the beach (it's 45 min from Dubai Centre, a bit far, but there are always taxis ready to pick us up in the hotel). I will definitely repeat the experience!
