V calm place. Not crowded. We often go for walk there. These days ( dec 2017), a festival is going on. Lot of food trucks are there... If u r looking for a quiet and calm place in sharjah, its a must visit.

an underrated gem in sharjah. i’ve lived in shj for 12 years and only visited this place for the first time yesterday. it’s got a running track, place for kids to play, an amphitheater, some ramps for skating/bmx and a lovely jones the grocer. the island is surrounded by water and a view of the government buildings making it a very pleasant place to go for a walk. it’s a great place to have dinner/lunch and hang out with the family or go for a walk.

A beautiful park and perfect get away in neighborhood especially in late night. Although small but a lot of parking, tolets, seating, music, jogging track, amphitheatre and charging desk makes it perfect place. Its my family's favorite park to spend time. Do not miss fish sightings. Kids will love it.

Theater is good there. There is a single restaurant with nice view but about 6 food trucks. Relaxing quite place. Ideal for running. Go there if there is a party or show. Choose your travel time carefully as there will be a lot of traffic especially if you are starting your trip from Dubai. Parking spaces are available for free.

Quite peaceful place to spend time or do jogging/workout. One of the tallest flag post is here with UAE flag. Small play area for kids, though paid. Ample parking bc not many ppl visit this place. You can see, on the other side water, luxury yachts, govt buildings & Souq al Jubail.

The beautiful UAE flag is constructed on The Island and the island is known as The Flag Island. The place is too beautiful surrounded by the water, a Garden, and the Fountain ⛲ There is also an amphitheater. The place is too beautifully constructed by seeing it you will feel peace and calm from inside. If ur in UAE must visit that place once.

Nice place with small jogging track. Sometimes there used to be food trucks. And some events. But most of the time it's calm and quiet place. You can enjoy with family. Just one restaurant (John s the grocer) available there which is a bit expensive. Plenty of parking area so you don't have to worry about that.

Very nice place and good ambients to visit with family and kids. There is a gym, jogging track, restaurant, amphitheatre, play area for kids surrounded with water with good scenery aswell. Its absolutely free entry.

Nice outdoor place inside Sharjah and with a good view of the lake, canal and govt. buildings. And of course the amphitheater is amazing.

An amazing place such a calm nice place with a a huge lake around it, it has an outstanding atmosphere with a jogging track and exercise machines. Great for a group of friends or someone wanting to workout. But I recommend to get your own water or food because there is nowhere to get stuff inside. Entry fee is free.

Flag island is a beautiful place and it is a park for kids playing and it can be you know a place for resting and I can see that as a big flag. And there are place where it contains a stadium. Kind of thing I need is sitting capacity as well. This place has an outdoor play area and gym

If you are looking for tranquillity, you can find it in the Flag Island which we visited on a cool Sunday afternoon in January. The kids enjoyed riding their scooters by the water, as they watched the docked ships by the harbor and the birds murmuration in the sky. And from there they went to the kids play area which had a small track for skateboards (they used it to ride their scooters as well). The island offered good and well-maintained facilities such as washrooms, prayer rooms and benches which were spread around the island. We were also surprised to find a Jones the Grocer outlet so that’s also an option if you want to eat there. We saluted the flag as we stood astonished with how high it was. We later read it was 123m high. The breeze of the island was very refreshing; we just loved it. There are ample free parking slots. Just be careful and patient when you drive out of the island to enter the bridge as the traffic is huge and cars drive at high speeds.

Good place to unwind, jog, stroll with family and friends. They have play area for kids, an amphitheater,a restaurant and spacious parking space.👍

Fantastic place near Al Jubail area next to Ittihad park with peaceful surroundings & newly opened Amphitheatre & restaurant along with small play area for children & seating area to have look of creek with fishing boats.
