Beautiful part of Dubai that has to be explored. Nicely located near Burj Al Arab hotel and with water going through the area and old vibe designed building its very nice to walk around and explore it. One down side is that professional cameras are not allowed for some unknown reason unfortunately. Security guards will be telling you that everywhere. Other than that its recommended

A market place worth visiting. Beautiful environment. Shopping antiques, clothing, jewelry, art work, souvenirs, etc. Quite a few eating places. Boat riding in the adjacent canal. Nice point to take photos of world renowned 7 star hotel **Burj Dubai**

This place is like a hidden gem, it felt like I was in the Aladdin move with all of the beautiful scenery. There was so much to explore and there was beautiful riverside restaurants which have amazing tasty food. If you live here or on holiday this is definitely a stunning place to check out!

Mimicking a traditional Arabian bazaar, Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a popular marketplace in Dubai. It’s interconnected with waterways, lined with bars and bistros, as well as offers a picture-perfect view of the Burj Al Arab. Here, you can get adrift in a maze of stalls and browse everything from oud perfumes and glimmering jewelry to fragrant spices and Turkish pottery. You can also plan for an alfresco meal and soak in the good vibes outdoors. That’s not all—the best way to admire the bazaar is to hop on a traditional Emirati-style gondola and sail along the tranquil waterways.

It's one of the most exquisite properties in Dubai! Superbly stunning and gorgeous! My most fav part of the hotel are the grand chandeliers seen after the reception area! Just stunning!!!

A good place for sightseeing. Had a great time shopping for handicrafts and souvenirs. The items are over priced. Did find a souvenir that I bought for 8 Aed being sold for 35 Aed. There are a few restaurant options and this place during Xmas looks beautiful. They have boating service but it ain't that good. The ambience of the place is good but, I would suggest visiting Al seef instead.

Dubai’s best tourist attraction all year round! It has a wide selection of curio shops to indulge in & the added bonus of super restaurants. It has three grand hotels, a cluster of traditional summerhouse, seven grand homes, more than 50 different restaurants, nightspots and lounges. Last and not the least breath taking lake views.

Un bonito sitio ambientado en la arquitectura tradicional árabe con zona comercial y restaurantes para todo tipo de bolsillos. La zona esta llena de canales que es posible recorrer en barquito y desde donde se pueden tener binitas vistas del Burj Al Arab

Beautiful indoor market with a wonderful Arabic atmosphere. You can see Burj Al Arab from some places in the souk. There are also some really nice restaurants with great views. I’m not sure on the prices, but it’s not the cheapest market and you should definitely negotiate when buying anything.

Just canceled my wife’s Birthday Dinner booking, as Parking was closed as FULL. Nervous staff did not even want to hear and check just shouting Move, Move , move. After parking 1 km away and walking back, parking was open, as Christmas Miracle happened and was again empty. This was the moment canceling the dinner. Once an amazing place, it was modified just to make more retail place…. I guess is time to declare the place too old and too disinterested . Every sunrise has its own sunset

I did not stay in the but went to Souk Madinat. Nice market with local handicrafts, gift items, garments, carpets etc. it is prime are so prices tend to be expensive. Bargaining is standard. Strike price can be as low as 1/3rd of asking.

Fabulous. This place is like being someplace else. From the moment you step inside, the service, quality and ambience is out of this world. The hotel is absolutely huge with its very own river network that runs throughout the hotel. To move around the hotel you actually travel around in a complimentary boat transfer. The hotel grounds are exceptionally maintained and it's wonderful to see. There are several restaurants onsite with something to please everyone. The hotel has its very own private beach that is easy to get to, clean and well maintained. It's also right next to the Burj. This Hotel is ideally placed to access all the local and main tourist attractions such as Dubai Mall, Emirates Mall and downtown Dubai. This is a wonderful high end hotel and we really look forward to coming back again. Needless to say that we highly recommend this hotel.

It's a beautiful place to visit . It's a souq, designed in a traditional setting. It has many sellers selling clothes , honey , accessories etc. The entire area outside the souq houses many restaurants ( with live bands ) and is being visited by many foreigners. Overall , a very happening place to visit with friends and family!!!!

Souk Madinat Jumeirah offers a cool, polished taste of the Middle East and more. It is designed in the style of a traditional market and there are lots of individual shops offering all sorts of souvenirs. In addition to that there is a great range of licensed and unlicensed restaurants to choose from and also a digital arts theatre. If you wander outside, you can take in the view of the Burj Al Arab or catch an abra ride to elsewhere in the huge hotel complex

especially for those who love exotic, who love a chic life, this place is just perfect. here you can plunge into the distant past, feel like a princess at the palace. unforgettable feelings . you can also go on a boat ride that will take you to your destination. come, you will not regret it. but you need to stock up on finances. the prices here are not affordable for everyone.

It is designed to resemble a traditional Arabian town. The resort comprises three boutique hotels (Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina A'Salam, and Jumeirah Al Naseem) and a courtyard of 29 summer houses called Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. The resort has over 50 restaurants and bars.

An upgrade version of the old town. If u think the souk is too crowded, rowdy and hot to explore, Madinat is the perfect place for alternative. It's designed to look n feel like you are in the souk. Of course the shops are more high end and you are probably paying twice or thrice the price of the same thing but the in the souk, if u can't haggle, you probably pay the same price here. Along the man-made canals, motorised abras run thru to carry people to other parts of the hotel. Fine dining restaurants like the famous Meat and Co makes it enjoyable place to dine with friends. Madinat also has a few perfect spots for taking pics of the Burj. Definitely a place I take my visiting friends and family.

Its my first time back to Dubai I'm 3 years and we had an exceptional stay. The hotel, the staff, the food and drink were all excellent. At Fayrooz lounge. keep away from fresh lime with mint drink. I wouldn’t have it even if it was for free. A glass filled with ice cubes all the way to top with tad of artificial green liquid added to it give off the color of mint. Never expected a drink to be that bad at a place like that!

I've visited the Madinat many times over the past ten years. The shops inside have remained mostly unchanged and are a great place to find holiday souvenirs. Outside is as beautiful as ever, you'll get some great shots with the Burj Al Arab in the background. Unfortunately, the bars and restaurants have expanded over time to take up every conceivable bit of floor space, making it difficult to walk around. Business is business I suppose. If you're planning a trip to Dubai, the Madinat is a must.

Excellent place to visit both during the day & night. Amazing views and photo opportunity of the Burj Al Arab. It offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, shops, starbucks etc. The Madinat is very beautiful, the design is elegant and almost everywhere is picturesque.. Small boat trips also available. The restaurants offer the very best views. The Madinat is definitely worth a visit while staying in Dubai.

The hotel was amazing. The restaurants were unique with great food and drinks. My favorite restaurant was French Riviera

Hello, a very excellent and clean place, suitable for holding conferences and small events.. Unfortunately, the staff inside the place is very bad, especially the bar service staff and the provision of drinks, a person of Filipino nationality

Typical Dubai attraction. Old souk with modern touch Beautiful canal and Abra, boat, experience. Number of in door and out door restaurants. Lot of shopping. Superb views of Burj Arab. Must go place .

Beautiful place! A bit expensive market though. A few good spots to take pictures with Burj Al Arab. At the moment they have a Christmas market, which makes it a popular place I guess, the downside there was a huge traffic jam to enter the parking so if possible use public transport instead.

  • 5/5 InMotion 1 year ago on Google
Christmas event was nice... Get there early or you will be stuck in a long traffic. ALWAYS Use the Uber app to see the trip fare charges, Uber drivers will try to pick you up on the spot and charge you triple. Do not fall for that. Driver was going to charge me 150 D where my trip fare on the app showed 49 D.

We had been to Pierchic to celebrate my husband's birthday. Views were amazing. We opted for the chef's blind menu and can't write in words how amazing the food was! The experience itself is wonderful ✨️ ❤️

Amazing location and the food is delicious. As Greek it is very hard for me to find nice Greek food outside of Greece but this one is very good. All the dishes were exceptional, amazing wine from Santorini, although unreasonably expensive, and the service was perfect. We had grilled fish and was absolutely amazing and the shrimps too. Like anything else in DUBAI quite expensive but highly recommended.

The place is nice and there are plenty of shops and some interesting restaurants, but nothing really original nor unique. Worth visiting once if you have few hours to walk around

I always think this place needs more signs...maybe it's just me, but I can never find the bit I'm looking for. There was some construction work going on in an area that I think was previously water and we struggled to find anywhere outside to relax. The digital cinema was nice but there were only beanbags to sit on, which might not suit everybody. Surprised to see the parking was free at that time (Monday night)

Madinat. Perfect place in Dubai. Wonderful. A lot of nice restaurants. Nice Tourist Souk. Beautiful photo spot for Influencers. Book the boattrip through the Hotel aera. It‘s really worth the price! The Hotel is fantastic and with nice view on the Burj al Arab.

Didn't stayed in the hotel but we came here to have coffee & watch the sunset with the burj al arab view & it didn't disappoint us. Although the price is 💵💵💵💸 but its worth it. The view , the ambiance in general is spectacular

Having enjoyed most of Jumeirah’s restaurants, tonight was I think, the icing on the cake, we ate at the French Riviera and it was perfect. The food was sublime, the atmosphere perfect and our hostess for the evening, Sofia was absolutely lovely. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough

Very close to Burj Al Arab, sand art in bottles are made here. Other items like perfumes, precious stones, and shawls are also available. There is also an amphitheatre and boat ride to avail.

A nice concept of merging traditional soul with modern amenities. Good for tourists who can't go out to spice or gold souk. Mostly souvenir shops & restaurants and prices are bit higher as compared to old city. But many spots for great pictures

  • 4/5 Mahmoud A. 7 months ago on Google
We have been at the souk and it was amazing old and valuable will take you back in time. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes. Parking first 2 hours free after that it’s paid and each hour 15 aed.

When you come up the driveway to the hotel you instantly know your somewhere special. Inhaling the fragrance of the lobby while checking in effortlessly. Every encounter with staff attending to your every need making your stay memorable and enjoyable. A perfect hotel to reconnect with family in today's busy world. Such a variety of freshly prepared food to indulge in, from breakfast at the French riviera to afternoon tea and sumptuous dinners at the Alnaforra restaurant. Looking forward to returning.

Nice place for a photoshoot but highly recommended to visit this place in the evening due to summer season it's very hot. There is alot of shops inside where you can find perfumes chocolates handcrafted items.

Don't go there if you're not a resident of the hotels included in the place. Everywhere is forbidden to walk in there. It's like they say: " come , leave us your money in the suc market and then go to hell!

Madinat Jumeirah is an Arabian mini-city in Dubai, comprising five-star hotels, ornate souks and beachfront hotspots. A destination within a destination, you’ll find several grand hotels, including Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina A’Salam and Jumeirah Al Naseem, alongside a cluster of traditional summerhouses at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf and seven grand homes at Jumeirah Malakiya Villas. There is an entire river system five kilometres in length complete with its own fleet of traditional abra boats. You can take a tour around the whole property on one of these in-house abras and stop by Souk Madinat Jumeirah along the way.

I was there for COP28 climate innovation summit. I think they really need to renovate the place and the coffee machines were so antiquated even the staff was frustrated and complaining to the guests!!!
