An ideal destination for camping without much crowd. SUV preferred as road is covered with sand. No facilities available other than Last exit Al Qudra.

The lake is very small . If you want to avoid crowds it’s a good spot but not much to see . The road is mostly flat (no dunes) and loose gravel . Some small hills after the gate and very little loose sand . For regular off roader it’s an easy path. You may spot some oryx on the way to the lake.

No need to have a 4x4 if you stick to the gravel road. You can take a small walk to the dunes nearby. Overall I nice place to refresh your mind. Sometimes it’s busy but overall it’s big enough to not be disturbed

Amazing place to spend couple of hours hours and enjoy watching the Arabian Oryx and the deers 😍😍 Please keep the place clean and don't disturb the Oryx and deers⚠️⚠️⚠️ Note: Arabian Oryx is classified classified as endangered on the IUCN Red List, and it was the first animal to revert to vulnerable status after previously being listed as extinct in the wild. It is listed in CITES Appendix.

Amazing place to visit pretty easy to get to but DONT LEAVE ANY TRASH.

Very quiet place for evening outing inside desert, planted trees and a small lake. But need 4x4 car and with friends because may be no other visitors. Municipality started this place two years before with some waiting facilities and strong road for all types of cars. They provide water and food for birds and desert animals in that time. But now most of these waiting sheds damaged and trees on this road also died due to water scarcity. But other small trees planted near to this lake is good and getting water. Need toilet fecility nearby

Its a very small water body, but a very silent place deep inside desert. Not sure about sedan cars as the road pass through sand heaps in certain areas.

A small moon shaped lake.. great for off roading adventure till you reach the lake.

Nice place. Cool it's a very small lake not so busy but people come for stops and picnics. Google map takes you near it so you need to drive a bit more to get to it. I recommend a 4 wheel drive

Man made island.. Best experience for intermidate drive.. Can take Suv car... No need to drive 4x4 mode..

Drove the Quad from Al Qudra to the moon lake.. through the desert. Amazing trip

This is a very pristine serene environment. Be aware that’s it’s not a lake but a very small pond. You will get a chance to see wildlife but you definitely need a 4x4 to get there!

If u r looking for a quite camping place away from city traffic and noise, moon lake is the best place for barbeque, camping and spending relax time.

We visited with family friends. Suggest to go in groups as its away from nearest habitation. The lake is very small and look as a crescent moon from top. An ideal destination for camping without much crowd. We reached before the sunset while another group of cars arrived few minutes later. No facilities available near to the lake, the nearest facility available at the Last Exit Al Qudra. Dubai Municipality created this lake years ago. While we were strolling, around we spotted some Arabian Oryx. Amazing place to spend couple of hours hours and enjoy watching the Arabian Oryx. We had good clear sky and seen few shooting stars.

Great place for a quiet getaway not very far from the city. The lake is visited by Gazelles & Oryxs in the morning / late night. As a group, nice to either camp next to the lake & if we have other groups there.. Several dunes close by behind which we can easily camp. Even sedans can reach which is a great advantage if few vehicles in the group don't have a 4x4. Best enjoyed if you can reach before sunset.

It's deep inside the desert. No much of shade around so visit in the evening or early morning. If you do, please do not litter.. enjoy the quietness...

This is very small lake and you need 4 x4 to reach here. But very pleasant area and animals come to drink water from here.

25 km from Last Exit Qudra lake roundabout. Make sure u have necessary stuff as there are no facilities nearby. Road is not good I have seen restricted access while entering in the route This moon lake seems to be closed because you cannot find any sign boards and instructions.

Great place, calm, good place to set up camp

One of the best spots in Dubai for overnight camping under the stars is less crowded compared to other locations. The washroom facilities are not yet available,SUV vehicles are preferable for reaching this site. I visited last night, and the climate was fantastic

Remote, quite beautiful place without any tourists or noisy visitors.
