    I have stayed at this hotel two times before, in the course of a month and it had been great experiences with the staff and room service, etc. but for my third stay, i cannot even put it into words. it was AWFUL. first of all, they started asking for a security deposit which they didn’t for our last two times, so i guess that’s a new thing. i don’t mind that, but they wanted the deposit in CASH while we were paying with card. secondly, i’ve no idea what happened to the management over the month but the staff was absolutely unresponsive to our needs, the receptionist wouldn’t even pick up the phone most of the times and when he WOULD, he would keep redirecting us to the restaurant or the room cleaning service when all we wanted was a plate. when we finally got a hold of them, they wanted to charge extra for the plate 🙄🙄🙄🙄. like what’s the reason for that if i’m just gonna use it and not take it with me?? when we wanted food delivered upstairs, the restaurant wasn’t even picking up and it kept saying that the number is invalid. same for the house keeping number. extremely annoying and frustrating. we had to practically beg them for new towels as well (it took more than 2 hours to receive it). extremely unprofessional and RUDE staff. the shower was really annoying as well, it was adjustable but whenever i would put it up, it would keep coming down and i had to literally squat in the bath to reach the level of the shower. the shower tap was broken as well. the bathroom needs a lot of fixing up to do, as well as the rooms themselves. the bed was extremely creaky and loud. finally, i’m 100% sure our room was HAUNTED. and i am NOT exaggerating this. we kept hearing weird noises at night and kids running around the corridor even tho we would never see them, and we had weird nightmares and sleep paralysis. the whole two days, we had that feeling that we were being watched and a weird energy of some sort. i will definitely not be coming back to this hotel, even tho it was a great experience the first two times. extremely extremely disappointing. the only good thing about this hotel was the swimming pool, just because there was no one else there when we went. however, it’s built in a weird way and definitely not for swimmers.

    As if it was only left to be experienced.😤😤 I have stayed in many hotel across UAE in last 3 years and have been admiring the top notch level of hospitality I have witnessed. Be it a small cafeteria or a high-end 5 star hotel, I have been amazed by the gesture and willingness of industry to go one step further in making you feel that you are in different world altogether. I literally have no idea that "red castle" calling them as 4 star would open your eyes and make you realize that UAE belong to this world only and not any other planet. This is one horrible horrible place to stay if you are staying for a month like I do. No one in this hotel belong to hospitality industry and my feeling was that hotel management is being run by some hospitality arm of Indian Government. My suggestion to fellow travellers would be to avoid this horror hotel and save your money. Most importantly save your precious memories if you are a tourist. Remember to carry cups, plates, spoon, forks, pillow, blanket and towel with you in case red castle remains to be the last unbooked hotel in UAE and you have no option but to land yourself in this hotel. Believe me, you will not regret carrying my recommended stuff with you. Thank me later.

    I liked the hotel. The design and everything is very well thought out. Elevators, spa and gym area along with the ground floor shops and parking lot are designed in a very professional way. The idea is great. The bad thing is that is not that well maintained. There are areas in which tourists don't end up very often and those are left by themselves (not cleaned, etc). All the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Furniture seems outdated but I didn't mind that considering the price they are offering. Every room is equipped with a router so you can plug in your laptop directly if you have a network cable, not needing to rely on the wifi solely. Pool area is very nice and the pool guy helpful. Chef was also super helpful with any questions I had. All in all, I will definitely stay here again. Pro tip, if you're not part of a group, do rent a car as the hotel is far away from everything, except the beach :)) which is good if you like to spend time only at the beach. P.S. the fact that you guys have carpeting in the rooms is amazing for a hotel like this on a 100mile radius :)) good job!

    Hotel cancelled my booking ; I only came to know about cancellation only after me & my wife reaching the hotel.I had contacted them just 1 hour before my arrival & they confirmed my booking .They didn't inform me about cancellation & it was still showing confirmed in online booking App also. Receptionist actually insulted me saying you should have used card which have money in it.I was shocked to hear it ; As there was more than enough money to stay there for weeks.

    Everything is damaged I enter my room boiler is not working Supposed I get room with balcony but I surprised its without Phone is not working when I ask the receptionist he tell we will fix it tomorrow The most bad thing happened to me the wash room not clean still dirty from the previous customer. When I ask the receptionist to send housekeeping to clean he said sorry you have to wait for tomorrow morning Promise I will never try again.

    The hotel's service was just awful. The staff were overall so rude, they lacked basic friendliness and didn't bother clean the rooms properly when we first entered. The rooms were dirty and had a bad smell. We had to keep asking for fresh towels and bedding, and when we first got there, the bedding had yellow stains and the towels were all dirty. Overall, the service was really bad, and the hotel didn't meet basic standards.

    This hotel is really inside like a castle! I like to especially recommend the head of breakfast service, very friendly excellent service. I enjoyed on the rooftop all World Cup football matches and the hotel provided large screen broadcasting, it was great! There is a small nice pool on top of the room, a fitness center with spa in the base floor. 3x buffet meals are available and very good. Close by a supermarket and beach access 500 m along the street. Free parking, car rental is recommended.

    The worst hotel I have ever booked first of all the staffs have lack of communication don’t give exact information also security deposit I mean seriously do you guys even deserve to take security deposit your own rooms are not even clean and those beds half broken and asking for security deposit I guess you guys need to give security to the customer so that they won’t have any injury there with your furniture and dirty bath tubs and another thing in dubai even people give free water but these people will charge for water once a day only small 2 bottle not even enough then if you want more water they ask for very small bottle 5 Aed woww what a great service and if you will request for anything on a call at the reception they will come to help you probably after 4 5 hours so be prepared one day before I guess for them lol 😂 anyways the more I will talk the more I have to write about them but for sure I will never recommend this hotel to anyone i wish I could give them 0 star they don’t even deserve that 👏👏👏👏👏

    This was the worst service I have ever seen in all of UAE!!! The person in charge of the front desk and his supervisor are so rude and unhelpful. They refused to give me the hotel’s manager number and refused to give me a number for complaints. I want to file an official complaint against these people and I don’t advise anyone to go there. The name of this super rude employee who should not be allowed to work in hospitality at allll is LIJO

    This place is -in one word- perfect. Love the staff. Love the rooms. Love the hospitality. Love Starbucks next door. Love the beach across the street. Love housekeeping. Love the value for money. PERFECT.

    The good thing was that the price was very good for the size of the bedrooms. The staff was also very helpful. But, it seems that the hotel is not putting money to restore it, as it is kind of old and you can see things not being taken care of. Furthermore, as a vegan, it was very difficult for me to find a nice meal ti eat, and especially at breakfast

    I absolutely love this place. The vibe is so romantic and rustic. The rooms are always lovely. The service is so kind and generous. The breakfast is to die for, really just yum. Worth a try for sure.

    Great deal. Big rooms. Quick chevk in. However entrance to basement parking is tricky. Reported the loose bricks at the boom entrance. Was repaired overnight. No spa at the moment. Hopefully new tenant will be found soon. Overall great location. Next to Co-op and easy walk to beach.

    Poor to Poorer 👎 Whether you are planning for Short Stay (since the Hotel was about to close, and now is re-opening for Summer Season), a Traveller can get some Reasonable Services. Whether you are Long Term Guest, just avoid to come, since the Hotel will put you back on the Streets, without Reason, without Notice, but no other than to Sale your Fixed Priced Room for an Opportunistic Profit during One Season. Unreliable, Unfair and Unmatured Management Style.

    I give it a zero star. Sense less staff don’t know how to talk. Nothing working at all properly, very very bad rooms, most importantly they are not at all interested in hospitality very rude.

    The dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. The smell on the first floor is terrible, and there's a lack of oxygen 😫. You can hear noise from the street, especially at night. The room is not clean at all, among other negative remarks. I strongly advise against going there.

    Okay the hotel is good, service is great, but I have one BIG issue, and that is them telling a random stranger looking for a “Chris” where my room is. That is tad bit weird from my pov, and I really don’t appreciate it too much. Literally everything else was good-great though.

    Every day same door card problem, you will go up down every day , and they will not solve the problem with a smile they give booker face like you did something wrong , the Morocco i think arabic girl at the recipient no smile no good attitude, the laundry taking too much time , no slippers in the room , two star for the good room and the cleaning room .

    I stayed at Hotel Red Castle, Sharjaj while on holiday with family. My experince wasn't great and ldidn't feel welcome at all. Overall rating - 2/5 The facility is an ageing one and the food is barely average. Most staff members are not interested to attend to your requests and some of them are rude (esp some male waiters attached to their restaurant). GOOD 1. Clean decent place 2. No safety issues or incidents 3. Spacious rooms, washrooms and common facilities 4. Restaurant available serving average fare BAD 1. RUDE staff with little courtesy. On approaching them with a request (eg: extra cloth hangers or sugar sachet or solution for leaking tap), they will make unwarranted comments, ask annoying questions and never act on your requests.(restaurant male staff are the worst) 2. Room service is very poor. No one would attend your call on ringing up and you will need to go down to the front desk to get anything done. 3. Most days they wouldn't refill the Coffee/ Tea/ Sugar tray (in the room). I had to make multiple requests at the front desk, in person, even for sugar sachets. (ultimately bought cubes from outside) 4. Sluggish staff not very keen in guest services 5. Missing basic stuff like bathroom towels, hangers, ironing board etc. 5. This is probably an old place and has got that old, musty smell. 6. Breakfast menu is boring and repetitive. I guess the idea is to ensure that guests does not eat too much!! 7. Location is not great. Will need to take taxi as there are no public transport facilities available 8. No place of interest nearby. So this is basically a place for you to dump your stuff and sleep in the night. AVOIDABLE

    In general, the hotel is not bad, small shoals do not require special attention. But if you happen to have the slightest problem requiring the intervention of the receptionist. you will be ignored, they will say that everything will be done, but nothing will happen. Maybe you will be blamed and made a fool of like me.

    The worst stay in my life as I am a frequent traveler and have stayed at different hotels in different countries but this is the worst experience I have had. Don't want to give single star but default settings won't allow review otherwise.

    Good hotel . Everything corresponds to what is stated in the description. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. The food is simple but varied enough, there is no daily repetition at breakfast. Dinner, chicken, fish, dessert

    We stay hear around 14 days the issue is. Wifi is not working properly. No proper food. No proper cleaning. If there is a half star could I have given that.

    One of the best resorts in the city. The owner is from the Midfa family. They are a very well known and a warring family, pre unification of the the 7 Emirates. It's right oppo the beach and there some fine restaurants closeby. The are a few Lebanese restaurants that serve some kickass meat shawarma. The garlic paste is a killer.

    Beautiful rooms, great service, great staff, really quiet with all the amenities of a 4 star hotel. I stayed here for 8 nights for 1200 AED, booked through Agoda, and it was worth every Dirham. The only downside is that you will need a car to go anywhere because its a residential area. There is no public transport close. Other than that, it's a great hotel to spend a quiet vacation in.

    The decoration of the lobby is so nice and looks luxurious , the room is big, but honestly it was so dirty, the floor edges full of dirt, and the mattress cover had dirt on it and stained I was disgusted to sleep on it, I had to sleep the whole night on the edge, the bathtub was dirty, and there is no hot water to take shower, plus there was no towels, I had to call for it, then I called for dental kit, I've waited more than 5 hours and still didn't get it, so I just left the hotel.. It sad such a beautiful lobby decoration to be wasted on such a bad cleaning and bad service. I won't sleep there again even if I got a free room, CLEANING must be take seriously.

    Has a great time with family. Comfortable bedddings, wide rooms, nice cafe and nice ambiance. Staff were little bit unarranged but worth the money we paid. Only require improvement on the staff to have level of hospitality.

    Truly one of the best hotels I've stayed in recently, the rooms were spacious, very kind and helpful staff. The Seaview is also spectacular, the overall experience was great, would definitely visit again, all receptionists were good especially Mr. Abdullah.

    Nice place. Sharjah cooperative (grossery) in same building. Starbucks same building. Hotel brecfast is ok for Arabic or International. Stuff trying harder. Room service sometimes asking need to clean room or not. It is conclision after some russian tourists from province cities who hesitating when bengali smily asking need to clean room today or it is ok. Russians telling, no need, no need.

    I have a bad experience with the hotel. I had booked a deluxe suite for me, my wife, and my son, but upon my arrival, the situation was completely different. The most important thing is that there is no bed for my son, and there is no sweet. When I asked for a bed, they said you have to pay, and I did dishonest management, unhelpful employees, and bad service. I do not recommend it at all.

    Beautiful decor, friendly staff, the rooms are clean too. However, the location is far away from public transports, you have to take cabs everywhere. And the bed was creaking too.

    Service is ridiculous. Checked in and went to room. Not even one towel found in the room. Called reception for it. After 50 minutes of waiting, still no towels provided. Called reception thrice. Decided to take showee meanwhile. Guess what? NO HOT WATER available in tab. Staff noit really helpful. I STRONGLY DON’T Recommenb it.

    The price was very good. the room were we stayed at was very clean and quit. the staff were friendly espacially my man Sohel from the houskeeping who kept our room clean and spottless. the only thing that was disappointing was that the mattresses were a bit hard. Other than that i can't fault the place.
