This hotel is so over rated. Less than average rooms, old fashioned interiors. Half the items available in the rooms are not working like hair dryer and phone. The breakfast buffet was also fine, nothing really great. Good service by the restaurant staff, that was truly worth appreciating.

I've been to Sharjah a couple of times and this is the first hotel I have come to dislike. I tried to settle into the smallest room I've ever seen with grotty slightly mouldy taps I felt uncomfortable touching. They have the flattest pillows I've ever used. You definitely have to put both pillows available together. The dinning room cutlery is branded, scratched and old looking. I cleaned it before I used it. My room was not cleaned in 3 days. I ran out of toilet paper. The corridors smell musty. They had toilet plumbing issues that leaked into the lobby. To be honest, they need an overhaul from the inside out and more efficient cleaning staff.

Worst experience Ive ever had!!! We got there at 2 am I almost fell in the bathroom Bc it was filled with water from the sink. When I turned sink on the water was falling on the ground. The next day they changed my from. Also the rooms are not clean at all very dusty and sticky carpets and stained pillows. This shouldn’t be a 4 star hotel it should be a 1 star hotel. The next day I get to my room I find a roach in my carry on. The floor under the bed and around were filthy dirty. I called reception they wanted to change rooms again and I was like no I’m changing hotels. I paid a $1000 dollars more to move out of that hotel to much better experience. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

Although the location was great but the check in process was long and frustrating, furniture was old and dirty, unprofessional staff with poor etiquette, breakfast was really poor quality and few options, dinner was good but few options, building park was dirty, price was too expensive in compare to the facilities, furniture, staff and food. Not recommended at all.

This hotel was very good. This time I had a very bad experience. I booked 2 rooms for friends coming from abroad. The rooms were much below the level and not clean enough. The operator doesn’t answer the calls. The hotel is much below standards now.

Generally I liked the hotel , but it needs maintenance ; "Don't disturb " button wasn't working , wallpaper needs to be replaced , even the towel has a black stain on it , which was shocking ! The location & food were good

Worst experience ever, room very dirty, old furniture with very bad smell, dirty linen, very weak AC with humidity, staff entering the room even if don't disturb sing is on. Door handle broken, Communication was very bad. Bring your own linen, air freshener. I had skin irritation and allergy from the pillow. room 1/10 Food 2/10 Location 8/10

Such a poor service, arrived last night, went to the hotel i was extremely tired… can you imagine staying in the queue to check in for 40 minutes!! Only one girl on the desk! Cancelled my booking and got another booking at Pullman where the service is awesome.

Great location, on the main road of Khalid lagoon. Spacious rooms, clean and comfy beds. But the shower glass is not enough to stop the water from splashing the bathroom

I definitely recommend this hotel, the rooms were very clean and neatly maintained, manager Mr. Bhavesh Joshi treated us well, Sara at the check-in desk was very helpful at the time of checking in & extension of the room, and the room service person Mr. Lohith was also helpful and maintained our room well. The breakfast was very good, had many options and was different every day, there also all the staff were good, I don't know their names (forgot to ask). Overall I had a very good stay here, please do continue this service.

The service of this hotel is outstanding My event was held here and the staff was so helpful with everything.They arranged everything to my liking and were making sure of everything to be perfect till last minutes of the event as well specially Mr Jelan and Miss Aye Mart who are available at the Lagoon Restaurant helped us through everything and provided us with best service, their cooperation is highly appreciated. This place is just amazing. The guy that cleaned our room daily was just the best nothing was a problem. The breakfast was divine with saj available everyday and a great selection of food. The chef was totally amazing and we had lunch with friends there. You could not fault the restaurant manager the chefs selection of food or the staff. The staff and manager at the front desk were nothing but amazing. You will not be disappointed

Very nice hotel with wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff and perfectly suitable for travelers with infants. The Khalid lagoon - one of the most beautiful locations to walk around with your child in a baby stroller- is located quiet on the opposite side of the road. As for getting to some distant locations, I recommend to use taxi, as Sharjah is not very pedestrian-friendly (and for baby strollers it is even a bigger challenge). The hotel itself is not actually new, but everything was working, clean and fresh. Breakfasts were good and pretty balanced, dinners created a special atmosphere as you have to select 4 dishes from menu (all of high restaurant appearance and quality). All the employees did amazing job to provide the best quality services. Special thanks to Baro from The Lagoon restaurant for great service and kindness, Marina from the reception, who helped to solve a very particular issue, a lady, who cleaned rooms at the 7th floor perfectly (apologize for not asking her name), and gentlemen from concierge who hurried to open the doors seeing us with a baby stroller and carrying our belongings to and from the room. I will definitely recommend the Copthorne Hotel Sharjah to all travelers, especially families with small children!

Lovely hotel had a stay for 2 weeks here it is a wonderful comfortable hotel. Love the breakfast and staff. Enjoyed my time here greatly. It’s located next to the Corniche an has beautiful view especially during the day. Highly recommend it to everyone you would really enjoy it

Sara at was very helpful to manage my requests and proactive to meet expectations of regular traveller. What makes me gives one star is the dinner restaurant service. Very poor menu limited items and the service lady was so rude . When you feel thirsty and you drink one glass of water and then ask for another one she will tell you again !!! What again !! So rude to tell customer like this especially its not your house its just water . Simple glass of water and the untrained staff will tell you AGAIN. Never went to the restaurant again. As many options around. (AGAIN)

Good Location! Stayed for 20 nights. Check in process was fast and smooth. Hotel staff were very friendly- especially the house keeping guy (Muddasir Abbas) who always did a fantastic job. A man (I believe his name was evon) called daily to check if we needed anything. A few negative points are that the wifi was very very slow, the room we were placed at, the lighting was bad and room was always dark. The pillows were so uncomfortable, even thought they gave us an extra two. But overall, was a GOOD experience. Hope to be back in the futute. JZ

The rooms are not well maintained. In my room I have exposed wires around the bed and electrical fittings were buzzing due to bad wiring. This is a safety issue and I'm sure it is against municipality regulations, but the maintenance guy told me it is normal!! Copthorne please take safety issues seriously! The hotel location is good. ***to Nader Batniji - your response is not true. I am still here and NO corrective measure have been implemented. The issue is still recurring!

I'm sorry I had a frustrating experience at the hotel reception. I was exhausted after a long journey and needed a comfortable room to rest in. Initially, they gave me a very bad room, so I asked for upgrade. While it's not uncommon for hotels to charge additional fees for room upgrades, I accepted to pay additional amount for the upgraded room, but I did not have enough cash at that moment. It's unfortunate that they were not willing to allow me to check in and pay the remaining amount the following day. I was shocked by the way the receptionist had handled this situation… I won’t recommend to stay at this hotel anymore ….

Excellent place to stay located at prime location. I had stayed for 4 days during my business travels. The only purpose of my review is the Food. You get multiple cuisine options and special mention to the Chef of the hotel. He is openly supportive and if you need any specific customization regarding spices veg - non veg option he is there for you. Rooms are preety big and the front view is mind boggling.

I stayed in this Hotel for a month, the view outside the hotel is beautiful and pleasing one and the hotel staffs are really helpful. When it comes to the food part they provide you complimentary breakfast but they don't change their menu at all for one month I couldn't differentiate the menu everything is same.. there was one guys in the omlet section name "Geyavudeen" he is the one who provided the way I want and it tasted really good.. I really appreciate his hospitality..

What a terrible hotel. No management, no fresh food just oily bland buffet food, rooms are dirty, AC never works. What am I being charged for?? Front desk look so overworked and the whole thing is a mess. I think I'm better off paying a little more money elsewhere just so I can have a proper room where everything works at least. Terrible experience.

Just checked in and so upset, the reception is understaffed only one person, the room in a lousy condition, stains on the pillow, dress hangers are in bad condition, ac thermostat is not working they had to replace it , toilet not well maintained stains and spots everywhere. I will have to cancel and refund the rest of my stay. Look at the photos

Whilst the hotel brands itself as a 4-star property, there are many deficiencies in the hotel's services and room. For example, the receptionists are unprofessional and treated me, on numerous occasions, without consideration of who was to be served first and without respect. The receptionist were inconsiderate to listen or even provide assistance, and spoke back as if they were annoyed and in a rush to attend to their next guest. The room was cleaned daily however the bathroom floor was evidently not mopped or broomed as there was dust or trash left from the day before on the floor. I had a really hard time sleeping at night because the AC did not work properly, and with the humidity left the room even hotter. I had to call the maintenance person at 3am to rectify the situation. The room service menu is extensive but priced at a 5-star hotel. I checked-out at 2:30am where I would think that things are settled, and the staff isn't occupied as during the day, however, when the bell-boy brought down my luggage from my room, he was assigned to a different guest without leaving or bringing the baggage trolley to my car. I was left to do this by myself. Coming on a business trip and requiring good internet connection, the Wifi was shaky and speed was inconsistent.

The cleanliness in the rooms is very improvable, also very outdated and poorly maintained. The bathroom was very dirty, black joints and stains everywhere. The food at the free buffet was of very low quality. Also at check out they charged us for room calls that we had not made. A disaster. This hotel does not have 4 stars, not even as a joke.

Copthorne is the one of our most favorite hotels in Sharja. We had come here for second time already. The location is wonderful, view, lots of nice places to walk, to eat, transfer to the beach every morning, big nice rooms with giant bad. My special Thanks to Woquus - he is a driver of the hotel bus and absolutely wonderful person.

Not very pleasant. If you are paying a reasonable rent for your stay then you expect everything must be alright. You don't expect to change room twice. This is what happened to my son. Something was wrong in the room he kept on sneezing. Their was leaking from ceiling. Washroom does not have proper door to stop the water spill over outside from bath tub while taking shower. Door frame is filthy and the floor grouts and corners are dirty. On the top of everything the wifi sucks.

Had Ifthar dinner at their restaurant with a friend. Lovely water views. Good food. Great variety. However I was shocked at the lack of dress sense and disrespect shown by some male diners, coming to the restaurant in their pj's! No dress rules in place it seems.

I have stayed here many times and now this Hotel needs serious renovation and needs to learn to put customers first. I'v he'd better service in 2 & 3 Star hotels. Shower/bathroom facilities are gone so old, since its winter and if you put the hot water on, the water trickles. you can't even have a decent quick shower. Breakfast. well if you go 1 hour before closing, boulle be lucky to get a decent omelette made as all the veggies are finished and don't get replenished, half hour before closing, you can't even get a croissant, its all packed and probably put in the fridge for next day. They very brittle which means that its not fresh and defo refrigerated. My room wasn't cleaned twice in 9 days I stayed, even though I had the "make-up-my-room" on and also told the cleaning staff who were in a close by room that my room is ready to be cleaned, we returned late at night only to find the room as we left it. called Reception only to be told "sorry" we will speak to the house keeping. Sorry once is ok, but to have the same issue twice is not acceptable. Also my big lamp in the room wasn't working, I did speak to reception the first day and nothing was done, only on the last night when we needed light to pack, I called agin. maintenance came and instead of changing the bulb, he brought a replacement which was soooo wobbly that I had to lean it against a wall. Its absolutely shameful that the Copthorne would provide such bad facilities and service. Don't think will be staying here in a long time, I have told the travel agency about it and also have pictures to prove all this but I'm not going to post just yet, waiting to see what reply I get to this. Will be putting this on Google and Trip Advisor reviews soon and may put 1 pic to show the quality of facilities.

Everything about this place meets expectations if not surpasses it except....the wifi internet. Reaaally slow. You will get the network but for a good hotel as this with well deserved high levels of occupancy; the internet should be a lot faster. Love the location, the food, the view, the service and rooms.

I stayed here for 1 week...and i got so excellent service here..stay was so comfortable ,food was so delicious and very clean room..everything is so good here...i prefer to stay here for lovely experience, staff is so supportive and nice....specially SARA at reception...what a wonderful gesture..very positive feeling i got here..i give 5 stars overall.

I'll give 2 stars and most of that is because of it's location, this hotel needs a lot of improvement to live up to it's "4 star rating" and price. The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, the cleaning wasn't good, even the pillows were deflated and not comfortable. I've had much better stays at 3 star hotels.

Good hospitality, staffs are very kind and great service , excellent house keeping .Mr. Lohit special did excellent job . House keeping Supervisor Mr. sankul frequently visited the room and provide great support during the stay.

Slow check in and checkout process. Yet rooms are clean and the price is affordable
