The worst service ever. The staff at the reception don’t know how to talk to customers who have complaints. The room was not up to the mark. AC wasn’t working then the hot water didn’t work. The cleaning person cleaned the AC in front of the guests. Not an ideal place for people having kids as there are many clubs on the ground floor and top floors so it was noisy at nights

No No No. Do not stay here. 3 clubs downstairs music blasting till 4am...everyday. you will not sleep. Hotel smells like stale smoke and booze. Beds have blood stains, washrooms have mold, toilets don't work, just an overall disgusting hotel. Staff are rude, and constant barrage of sex trade worker type people in and out of the hotel. The place stinks. Had it booked for 3 nights, left after the first night. We couldn't sleep until the music stopped in the disgusting room and ended up wasting an entire day after. Not worth it.

Extremely noisy every night till 3am because there are 3 or 4 nightclubs in the hotel and thus impossible to sleep. Not very clean neither. I won't recommend anyone to stay there!

rooms are pretty good, the price is not bad you won’t get peaceful sleep because there’s a scottish pub that plays very loud music until 3am you got to pay for almost everything like a bucket of ice or cutlery would be 10 dhs each upon entry had to wait at reception for quite a bit the bathrooms are unique kind of 90’s style came with a shower and bath and very large closet space

Although located right at Satwa roundabout, vehicles leaving the hotel cannot access the roundabout and have to take a long detour usually in very heavy traffic just to get a few hundred meters over the road making taxi journeys very long and expensive just to go a few kilometres . Also it has no access to the Dubai Metro. So for these reasons we changed hotels after a few days. The hotel itself is ok having recently changed it’s name and management (again). The hotel is old by Dubai standards, at least 40 years and this shows in some areas but the rooms are large. I believe all the rooms are the same, have no balconies and windows that don’t open. The pool area is nice and the hotel has a number of bars and restaurants. Also of note was the state of the windows which were extremely dirty. Our room overlooked Satwa towards the Dubai Trade Center but you could barely see anything. Overall I would rate the hotel as a good 3 star. The biggest problem being the poor vehicular access.

I never had an experience so bad that I had to come write a review about it Where do I even start?? On my first night I didnt even have my own keycard because “the system was down” Everytime i left my room someone had to come with me to open my door with the master key It took them hours to fix this issue, and i had to chase them otherwise they wouldn’t even have remembered I was staying on the 3rd floor, I could hear the music from the clubs as if it was happening in the room next door. I switched to the 7th floor and I could still hear it!! Super old hotel not maintained at all, everything is dirty, the toilets aren’t flushing, the AC isn’t working, the lights are so dim, the kettle in the room is broken, there are small bugs everywhere, loud music at night and loud construction in the morning, the wifi is so slow, the rooms smell so bad, the elevators are at least 30 years old they don’t even feel safe The receptionists are cold and not helpful at all This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, waste of money, for this quality they shouldn’t be charging over 100 aed a night

Terrible hotel, certainly not worth $159 per night. Dirty (see photos), noisy (Satwa roundabout, horns peeping all night), room 303 window broken (see photo), no kettle in room, horrible bathroom (see photos). Plus, dreadful service! Easily, the worst hotel I have ever staying in, in over 30 years of business travel. (This is my first truly negative review - ever!)

Don’t come to this hotel as it is old and with the bad smell. Worst hotel ever! No visitor allowed and they cannot even explain why. Bedsheets, blanket and towels are having bad smell, all dirty. You will request for something but reception keeps on ignoring the guest. Receptionist doesn't have respect especially the Indian guy, I don’t know if he is the supervisor or what. No manners at all. Too noisy at night as you can hear the music of the band in their bar. Nothing is good here. I will never recommend this hotel.

Location is definitely the best, I've used to really like this hotel, it's classic, and the English bar downstairs is pretty nice, I will not give 5 stat because there's not even any room can open the windows, and because it's old and lack of maintaince, the tub sometimes is broken( I've stayed there many times.) Sometime receiption is nice sometimes isn't, but overall I am still quite like this place, it's chill and classic.

I used Chelsea Plaza hotel a few times for a holiday or a Stopover on my journey .the rooms are Big Cleaning to a high standard,with all that's required in the room..i.e..Hair drier, Soaps Shampoo.Safe.Iron and ironing board.Teas,Coffees and 1 litre of complimentary Water. I will certainly use again and recommend to anybody.

They have 3 clubs. Indian. Phillipines. AND THAI lounge with live performance. Very good place and beautiful ladies and the drinks are really cheap. Best to go with friends.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed! The pillow case was not change it’s used already from the previous guest and we ask to the HK attendant a pillowcase and we change by ourselves. Room is NOT cold and at the same time Room is Smells so bad. We request Water bottle at 11:45 to the receptionist (A GUY) but sad to say He refused to give us water even we ask 2times but same answer they cannot give. Shaving Kit is not available as well 😒

Hotel is really good place to stay a home away from home. The staff specially housekeeping Is really wonderful. I am still staying in the hotel in room 614 the housekeeping associate named gulius is really professional. With a smile on his face, always ready to solve the issue or querie we have..he makes the day.thanks a lot...... looking forward to come back again...

I went there for a two days stay and I don't recommend going there. (Very bad Experience) There are plenty of other better hotels on the same location. (Rove Trade Center is 200m away) The most important reason is they charge you a night's cost only for late checkout. The wanted to charge me 150 AED only for a two hours late checkout (2 PM) while any other hotels offer it for FREE. Other reasons it sucked. 1- very old small elevator. 2- old furniture. 3- Room TV didn't work. 4- wifi is slow and keeps disconnecting. 5- found only 1 bath towel in the bathroom and it was very old and almost torn. 6- All hotel staff are Indians.

The staff is very helpfull and the room is very clean also the house keeping was very friendly with us especially on 6th floor the philippino guy wor is very beautiful neat clean and tidy with all hygene in this pandemic time

I'm giving this review after staying for 6nights which I have booked from Australia through Agoda. I was there for a family holiday traveling from Australia. The hotel room that I got is very old with very old fittings. The walls have some damaged with moulds can be seen however housekeeping tried their best to keep the room feel cleaned which is good. The worst part is the night club, when you are with a baby and a kid you need some sleep which is impossible after 9 - 9:30pm until 3am. I got a room in 7th floor and music is so loud that each furniture and fittings vibrate. I put complaints every morning for 1st 3days but no action. Reception staffs are Also in different levels, some are new and polite but don't know anything and some are very rude and really bother to give any response. Ultimately no pleasant stay when you travel all day and don't get a sleep at night. Staff like room service, bell boys etc.are good but that will not change the rating as your stay is not satisfactory. Not recommended to anyone for sure from my end and not seeing management really care as there similar feedback from a long time which is worsen from last few months. It has a very nice swimming pool with support staffs.

The most pathetic service I have experienced here, the AC isn’t cooling properly and I complaint about it, as per them the maintenance team will come but no one came to resolve the issue neither they offered us another room. Other than that there’s very bad smell from pillows and blanket. Not recommended at all🤮

I had dinner there last night in Pier Juan the Indian waiter and filipina reception insulted us asking me and my friend moved seats and even hesitant to serve our food and drinks, as we were leaving the restaurant they even called us if we really paid. The worst customer service ever, they are judgemental the service is very poor and i will never recommend this restaurant. FREAKING JUDGEMENTAL WAITERS!!

The hotel 🏨 is too old 😴.... time to replace too many things... not issues with service, but they are not professional service ... Not suitable for families 😢.... Easy to view inside toilet from the closed doors 😀 couples okay .... if you are looking for a cheap place, stay alone or a couple of it's okay .... don't accept too many things

WORST HOTEL I EVER HAD!!! NOT SO FRIENDLY HOTEL!! I just choose this hotel coz it's accessible and near to my family coz I'm from abu dhabi. Facilities are old very slow small elevator bed sheets are dirty even the towels and hand towel they are not checking how dirty it is. Unprofessional RECEPTIONIST!!!

My friend just invited us for a dinner at one of the hotels resto bar....then he just show us his room...its a twin bed...but a huge room...nice and clean.

One of the worst hotel I have stayed in. They care the least about their customers. Very poor wifi, no hot water in room, even if you complain about it they don't care. Staying for a week also they don't provide second key to the room.

Very beautifully maintained. Best thing that can attract me is the hospitality and warm welcome. Reception staff is the best part( Jibin Ayesha everyone) Food is good. Rooms bit old but ok. Only problem is loud music of clubs but if one can still manage then i would recommend Chelsea hotel. These are purely honest reviews.

First of all the location is too far but that wasn’t the issue,, i booked triple bed room with sofa bed cause we are 4 person once we reach the hotel they told me we don’t have the room we have only double bed room when i tried to complain they blamed the booking app the issue it was late night and i just came driving from saudi so i have no choice just to accept the room without any compensation of the mistake Breakfast, they cook inside the restaurant without any ventilation so once you go out from the breakfast you you have to take shower otherwise you will be like oil ban moving

Overall hotel is good...located in prime area i e. Burdubai..all key attractions are within 20 min cab drive... however the rooms we got were very noisy as loud music was being played downstairs throughout the night

This review is for Pier Juan Bar on the first floor of chelsea hotel. We we there to celebrate the birthday of my friend and I was really super upset with the experienced. 1. Food is not good 2. Waiter are Rude and unprofessional a. I follow up my food order when it arrives late the waiter is telling me that too much hungry?? b. Waiter are too touchy he thinks we dont notice it. c. i asked for my bill and he slap the bill at my back instead of giving it in a nice way. d. When my friend settle the bill he force my friend to add a tip on the bill it was his 5 times coming on our table asking for tips even we are not finish yet. 3.Manager is one sided and unprofessional because when I relay to him about the issue he is covering his staff and I felt that he dont believe us. We dont have a valid reason to tell lie to them. He took the tip from his staff and give us but ae refused to accept it and he shouted us that I will pay for the water you are drinking(in fact he is the one who offer that one to me). I dont know how he become a manager on like that. I want to thank the receptionist of the hotel on the ground floor (aungu sorry for I forgot his name)who help us he is very calm way and telling us it will not happen again. But it would be better if they closed that bar or changed the management it will affect the image of the hotel.

Chelsea is located right next to a line of best restaurants and cheap supermarkets. If you're traveling on a budget Chelsea Plaza Hotel is good with friendly staff. It might be good to have a room at levels 4 upwards though because of the noise of nightclubs from the ground floor.

Hotel is good old building,the services provided is just ok,Famous for pubs having 4 of them on ground floor, it is a favorite place for young population.Lot of crowd in the Pub. The rooms are huge and spacious with good interiors. Location wise a very good location near by Bur Dubai. 3 kilometre from Dubai trade Center. Many markets nearby within 5 to 8 kilometrs.

3* type.....faced few issues in my stay like water heater, no exhaust fan in bathroom, extra bed charges but poor quality. For Vegetarian limited options in breakfast

Small restaurant, nothing fancy. But nice flavourful food. Very warm and attentive service . Flexible team and let us sit by the pool. Great value for money. The beef chilly fry was amazing .

Everything is good here: Staff, rooms, view connections, etc. Only problem is if you want to sleep at 11 pm, it will be extremely difficult because the bar inside the hotel plays loud music until 3 am. Not a good place if you want to rest at night. I can feel the floor shaking due to the loud music while I am writing this in my room on the 7th floor of the hotel.

Duty manager protecting his unprofissional stuff in pier bar, we came in the hotel with a booking and went to bar they treated us so bad and when we complained to duty manager he is a person who should work in a fish market doesn't know anything about hospitality.. Pakistani security in pier bar has no clue what is guest and another guy same. Floor doing the same Felt like we are dealing with group of people who. Is not profissional. We supposed to be 100 people checking in this hotel next month but we will. Never do that. Unprofissional Bad attitude Duty manager is useless Secuis useless We have to write our review on TripAdvisor and all platforms for the same. I hope. The General manager will. Have a look on his useless stuff who. Never care and never let their guest happy I literally felt we went to fish market 😂😂😂😂

If you value sleep DO NOT stay here. I came for Gulfood. There are few clubs on the top floor and the close at 3 am, the music you can hear in your room. And after the club people out side very LOUD. taxi is hard to get. Area not so bad. Great local shopping, restaurants are cheap.

Nice Old hotel in a very congested area of Dubai. They have got Valet parking and it is a big plus in that part of the city. They have some average to good clubs in the premises as well. I don’t like their lift, they are very old and congested rest it’s a good average place to stay. Some very cheap shopping places near the hotel. Good and almost every type of food is available in the area

Don’t sit on the sofas in the rooms without looking under the seats. Absolutely gross. The rooms aren’t well maintained a lot of things weren’t working or faulty; the front desk claimed after 3 days of arranging the extra bed advertised on booking.com that a sofa bed and sofa were one in the same. When I tried to explain what a sofa bed meant to the rest of the world, he told me if I didn’t like it I could leave. So I did. Wouldn’t recommend it to my enemy.

Beautiful hotel located in Satwa roundabout. We had taken double occupancy room...it was too good...and from balcony, we can see the beautiful building (including Burj Khalifa) in and around Dubai. They got 6 pubs as well and they got crowded during weekends. Swimming pool along with Jacuzzi is another attraction.

Actually that is the most beautiful place in my experience that you can enjoy and rest properly The place is really clean with a perfect location And specially the staff are really good and professional Specially ( Madumi ) she's really amazing girl and very professional in her job with perfect smile always on her face and she's is one of the many reasons that keeping me coming again and again Thank you very much team for the amazing experience

I dont have first hand experience of this hotel. But a family member was staying there, got cardiac arrested & unfortunately didn't survive. His wife was all alone in a completely stranger scenario,the hotel management was kind enough to cooperate...

Cons: The rooms are a bit expensive and the receptionist looks incompetent. She made me wait for 10-15 mins before allotting the room and took care of other customers who came after me. Noisy during night due to the dance pub on the top floor. Pros: Neat and clean washroom.

Let's start with the basics positives: the cleanness level was good, when it comes to the breakfast, it was OK, but lacked Arabic options - in an Arabic city!!- on my last day I found out I can get omelets, I didn't know what the staff didn't inform us about this!! The location is tricky, on one hand it's close to the main business areas, if you have something in the world trade center you can simply walk there for around 20 minutes -if the weather us ok- many important services (shops, pharmacy, restaurants) are very close, BUT, the hotel located in a poor area, something some people won't be comfortable with. Now the biggest negative; we were in a business trip for one of Dubai biggest trade shows (GITEX) the hotel was fully booked because of that, but the hotel found it would be appropriate to have their nightclub having parties every night!! The loud music doesn't stop, I had a room in the 5th floor and it didn't help!! And the hotel refused to turn the music lower after midnight!! What make this more frustrating, my colleagues checked the club one night at it was almost empty!! If your nightclub is more important that your business guests, don't brand yourself as a business hotel!! Another issue was the rooms key cards expiring everyday, so every night to come back you need to ask them to renew it!! We informed them we want an invoice for our stay before even coming to Dubai, we remained them again one night before check-out, yet it took them almost 30 minutes to prepare it when we were checking out!!!

if you plan to visit Abu Dhabi and searching for over night staying with all facilities in your mind and reasonable rate, i suggest you to select Chelsea Plaza Hotel. quick check in, clean rooms and well designed, you will have deep sleep and weak up next day very fresh and ready to continuous your trip in abu dhabi.

Best in town speically in this area it has most comfortable and clean beds.

Chelsea Plaza is an older hotel but kept in a good condition, our unit had a great view, our toilet flush didn’t work twice but as soon as we call them, they came within 5 mins and fixed it. The service is exceptional. They will accommodate you in any way shape or form. Our check in time was 2:00PM. We reached there at 10:30AM, they asked for us to wait and had a room ready for us by 11:00AM. We also stayed till the 31st Dec, 2022 and asked to see if they can hold the luggage for us until 1st Jan, 2023. They said they would. We also included the breakfast for our 6 day stay, and if you ask they cook you fresh omelettes and also tea, we also asked for banana smoothie for my kid and they made us one. The amenities are older but the staff is exceptional and so 5 star for their service.

Good spot to have a weekend party with friends/groups. They will reserve the poolside bar and buffet dinner/lunch based on reservation. Average rate : AED 200 per person.
