It 's horrible : * Very noisy : music until 3 h30. * Smell of cigarette every where even in rooms. *The 1st day I claimed the presence of cockroaches in my room. they changed my room. And even in the new room I found cockroaches.. In conclusion :you must review hygiene. it's a dirty hotel *breakfast is served from 8:15 a.m. instead of 6:30 a.m. the staff is good I spent 4 nights during february 2022.

I think the price is not competitive right now that some hotels which is far better than this hotel offers. I did not expect that those negative reviews here are true unless I experienced myself.. The strange smell in the hallway and the room is like a smell of a really old hotel that's vacant for some time.. Very old room interior.. The room smells odd. It's true that it's so noisy that the music from bars are all over.. Beddings doesn't smell fresh.. Like it seated long time.. Ac don't cool well.. However on positive side staffs are friendly and helpful.

The worst of all, don’t waste your money here. The receptionist is the worst of all, she cannot handle pressure and is very rude. No proper lighting, room service is not good and bathroom has some issue with hot water supply. No refrigerator unless you really push them to provide, service is too bad. Also, by any chance if you still choose to stay here, be prepared to have the same breakfast everyday, no variety.

This is a very old hotel, dated, convenient and centrally located BUT not properly cleaned. Old does not equate to untidy and grimy! The bathroom in far, very far below acceptable standards, filled with weeks, months and possibly a year of mold and unwashed bath tub, very dark from accumulated unscrubbed existence. Staff generally polite and helpful.

If there was a negative rating, I would have given that to this hotel. They don't even deserve a single star rating but may be paid to rate themselves as a 4 star Hotel. Trust me, it will your worst nightmare if you book this hotel. Simply pathetic service. Rude staff including duty managers. None bothers to address issues. You have to run behind them to get room service. The worst part is reception does not answer calls in 1 go. You should call multiple times for someone to answer it and then wait for the issue to be addressed. They even denied giving a print of the RT PCR report citing they do not have white papers. Asked to take it from outside printing shops. Issues faced at the Hotel: > Hotel is located in the most busiest junction and in path the flight take off direction. You can literally see the aircraft from your window flying off your roof. > On check in they allotted a backside view room, which has too much of aircraft sound as every 60 secs there is an aircraft taking off your roof. On complaining the changed the room but said they are aware of this.. Why do they allot such rooms to guests when they know it??? I could not sleep the entire night due to the aircraft sound. > They do not have bathrobes and shaving kits. Most common toiletry. > Requested for additional towels and they responded as they can only provide 1 towel per guest. (I felt as if I was in some shelter house) > The WiFi does not work in room, it has poor connectivity and keeps dropping. Where as in the lobby it works absolutely fine. (a common trick to reduce usage). When complained they say its technical issue and they cannot do anything about it. After multiple complaints they added a booster in the room. > Asked for shift manager and he took 30 minutes to come by. Nothing can be more worst than experiencing this on your holiday.

The worst experience I ever had in 12 year of my career in UAE I simply asked for a bath gaoon from house keeping and they rudely said they don't provide it . Den I have asked for extra towel which wasnt given and den I have called the reception one mr.bilal said that housekeeping guy was on the break and he will bring it in no time . And even till I left the room they have not provided the towel . Secondly . I came back to the hotel and I have not found the valley parking guy so i took my key to the reception and again asked 5he same guy mr. Bilal to handover my key to valley parking den said we don't have the service after 5 am were a trolly boy was in counter wasim and he called to security to check if there is anyone can help me but he couldn't help me coz the security said there only 1 guy and he can't do all the job alone , Some how I felt disrespected I ask Mr. Bilal the reception guy that " is this way u treat Ur coustomer and he was like that how it is and I said I will post this as bad experience I ever had he was like fine go ahead and gave his name proudly . Note:- Some how there was another guy present in reception who was literally helped me by calling again the security and requested them park my car and he politely apologized on behalf of other staff who insulted me or disrespect me and I was amazed abt his geutre which took pure heart to help me and I strongly recommend the management to take action against the rude staff who is spoiling your company or frim image with there rude attitude against the coustomer . At last I will humbley request the management to reconginse the the staff who heratly helped me and still he apologized on behalf of other and his name is one MR. Ashok, and you must be proud Mr. ashok.

We had a ganpati event at the hotel in the afternoon. All the arrangements were done properly. The staff is good and the service is not the best but not so bad as well. Food was also good. The main problem with the venue is their AC. It was not working and there was no cooling. Everyone was feeling too hot. The hotel manager did arrange a cooler but was not really sufficient for all the guest.

Once upon a time it was a good hotel. There is only 1 person at the reception who is handling everything feels like some old US Motel. We booked for 2 separate beds but we got a double bed. The room was clean. We booked and Paid for breakfast and came to know that breakfast is served only after 8am. Even in laid back cities breakfast is served from 6.30am. Very unprofessional.

Customer service was very polite but the hotel was definitely more like a 2 or 3 star hotel. The pictures in the hotel listing looked very good but we’re not accurate in the slightest. The furniture was outdated and not what was in the picture. The room had a strong stench and was most definitely not a 4 star as advertised. Model 6 or the cheapest hotels in North America would be similar but at least they have towels in the bathrooms. They have a pool but offer no towels, I go to the room to get some towels but there are none there either. I tried to see if they would accommodate a refund for the 3 nights I was staying but they said that it was not possible. Looks like I am going to have to take the hit and find another place. Places like this give Dubai a bad name and I do not want this place to make you think all of Dubai is like this because it is not. Also if they only advertised that this is a 3 star hotel I would have completely understood and not even bothered to book it.

There is a dance bar for each nationality in this place. Even though the hotel staff keeps its women guests safe and are very helpful, the crowd is pathetic and a lot of male guests see females with a lustful eye. Dont recommend this hotel for families and females.

I would stay again as a low cost accommodation for an American with money that can do better. But I hated the shower in 705A. Room 721 was better. Comfortable bed in both rooms. Night Club thumping from downstairs each night. It's a bit of a walk to Metro down 19th.

We booked and stayed for 1 day, because we held our year end party in one of their banquet. The room was comfortable, clean and properly arrange. Their event manager Clinton is very helpful as well as the people who help us decorating and arranging for our party. Our party was successful and everyone enjoyed. Food is delicious. Waiter and crew are helpful. Its all worth it.

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The service is excellent, with very friendly staff. It truly is a 4 star hotel and deserves the positive reviews it gets. Unfortunately, I might've been a bit unlucky as the room I stayed in on the 2nd floor wasn't the best. AC temp was probably controlled by hotel, as it was a bit warm during my entire 5 night stay. Also, the sink in the bathroom wasn't draining properly. The clubs downstairs were also loud on some nights, so make sure to book on a higher floor. Otherwise, the hotel offers a complimentary bottle of water, many glasses to drink from, a functioning TV and fridge, iron and ironing board, and so many little details that makes this one of the best hotels in Dubai for the price!

This hotel is the worst experience I have ever had. The elevators smell moldy, the bathrooms and rooms are in need of cleaning and renovations. The furniture and fixtures are cracking, the bath tub is stained, and the carpets throughout the hotel are dirty. The pictures online seemed to be of when the hotel was just opened. It is old and run down now and was clearly never renovated. When I stayed there, the club downstairs had a party every night and you could feel the vibration and hear the music from the rooms. The AC units are old and dirty as well. It was a horrible experience.

Everything is good with nothing major to complain about. The hotel is not bad and the room size is great, only some rust in the bathroom, but again not a big issue. The only problem is one of the staff, her name is Jennifer and the way she communicates with the clients is very rude way, I stayed here for 3 days and I got to a point that I would wait for her shift to end, so I can ask anything from anyone else. She made everything horrible here. Thank you Jennifer for the amazing work :). Everyone else is very sweet thought.

The Hotel has 10 night clubs open till 3 AM. You can hear the base from 4the floor. If you are light sleeper, welcome to my world, this is not for you. The Agoda price discounts are lies. Washroom has mold built up with too many patchwork . The bed is okay. rooms are also okay in size. the hotel is maximum a 2 star hotel, not 4 as per Agoda. I would not have booked it, if I knew.

Place of hotel is very good. People's are so friendly πŸ™„. Food in the restaurant are focused on the Indian food which is not acceptable. House keeping is very poor e.g. towels , soap and shampoo are not giving every day, if I asked then it will provided. Smoking is not controlled, so Smoking smells was found in corridors also. Carpets looks dirty. Furniture and fixtures is found very old.

Stinky, dingy, trashy place. This hotel has 11 clubs which run all night , the noises coming out from these clubs are so disturbing you can not get a peaceful sleep. PLEASE BE INFORMED , this place is infamous for all the wrong and unlawful activities. I strongly recommend not to book this hotel.

The hotel can really use a renovation here and there. We booked a deluxe twin bed and the room size was good, it's big and spacious enough for two people. The bathroom was quiet an experience though, fixtures were not properly clean including the towel rack, the light fixtures in the mirror have rust all over it, wall cracks and dust in the ceiling were visible. In addition, the hotel lobby smells like old and used carpet, while the room smells dusty and stuffy. We requested to have our room cleaned but the sheets were not changed at all. Location was good since it's nearby the bus stop and a little walk to the metro. Breakfast was good especially if you like continental cuisines. Hope this helps!

I recently had the misfortune of staying at a hotel that I would not recommend to anyone. The room I was in was not well maintained, and there were numerous issues that made my stay a nightmare. The bed was full of bed bugs, the blankets were not washed, and the room itself was not properly cleaned. The staff was ok and the entire experience was terrible. This hotel should be avoided at all costs. Despite its four-star rating, it is far from a pleasant experience. The pool was closed.

Hotel Was great with good infrastructure and clean rooms and with good location. Why I am not giving 5 star? I packed my food parcel from market and when I call to reception that I need 1 plate and 1 spoon in room. They Said we charge 10 Dirham for 1 empty plate (I said I am not asking to buy a plate, I just need to eat my food) Surprised

Location is absolutely great with all kinds of food junctions/restaurants/supermarkets/malls nearby. Metro/bus connectivity is also pretty good. However, you do expect a 4 star hotel to have a nice and clean toilet which is apparently not the case. The rooms are more than average in terms of cleanliness. TV sets are pretty ordinary ones and channels are very few from the entertainment point of view. Services like providing sleepers and ironing inside the room are missing. No ventilation in the toilets. Moreover behaviour of few of the staff members can be more cordial and responsive

We booked in advance for a strickly non-smoking room because we have a 3 month old baby. When we arrived, it takes morethan 15 minutes waiting at the lobby to get our room. I dont know if they check our reservation, buy still they gave us a smoking room without telling us. We request to change our room because its dangerous for our baby's health. They transfer us to room that cannot connect to Wifi and no cold water on the shower. Overall, we didn't enjoy our stay.

Lovely hotel with lovely friendly staff. They are happy to help and attentive. We needed help to fix the tv and Wi-Fi connection and within minutes of calling reception we had someone at the door. Staff open doors for you and are very polite and well mannered. Felt like 5 star service. The hotel itself is a bit rundown. Needs a good refurbishment. My room smelt of damp which was coming from the ac unit. Rooms were clean and mini bar and towels were replenished daily. I would visit again as I loved the environment of the hotel. Good location. Not too far from the airport.

Hotel is average not bad. The only thing which I don't like is the rule of not allowing guest after pm. Service was okay and the house keeping staff is also good. I was having a room with an 15 years old TV. Internet was not that good. But the prices are very reasonable. Or all the area is not good bcoz of too much bachelors. But if you are staying in this hotel you have alot of options in the restaurant those as just few steps away.

The room was good but the bathroom was not. The cleanliness was not up to the mark in the bathroom and very small! The hotel is not 4-star but it should be 2-star or similar. I'm giving a 3-star rating (otherwise I would give it to 1 star) to the hotel in review, thanks to their staff who kept our luggage even after check-out. We're really thankful for this gesture.

Over night stop. Arrived at this hotel around midnight. Location was one of my main reasons for trying out this hotel. Check-in was efficient, and I was in my suite within 5 minutes. With my booking, I was eligible for the upgrade but was not looking or expecting it. Nice size suite, my pictures don't really do it justice as l was travelling all day and was tired and a bit drunk.. Did not visit breakfast as sleep was the main goal. Check out was straightforward and pleasant. I would like to come back and try this hotel again. Thank you, Marco Polo Hotel.

Worst staff ever seen. Reception, staff don't care about their customers needs or they should full fill atleast the basics. They don't double check the rooms before alloting to customers, like the room was under maintenance so is it clean or not, proper toiletries are provided or not. There is toothpaste, face wash or not. They will just give you room provided it's is empty and they will forget you. They don't give a damm if the customer is facing some problem or issue inside room. They don't bother to answer calls for room service. All they need is just customer to come, give them money and then he can just go wherever he wants to. They have got some awesome talented staff people from around the world who will come to you and say "we'll get back to you shortly", and then they will vanish for ever and they will not reply to you even at calls. Rooms are good, but the service provided by hotel staff is worst in the whole world. Even a small cottage can provide better service than these 4 star poor people. They are just going through some serious problems might be the reason for not entertaining their beloved customers. They value zero to the customers. They do false promises on face to the customers which reminds unattended till the time of check out. The hotel is just not a place to stay even a single night even if you are at your worse or you had some great day indeed, it's going to end even worse if you check in in such hotels. *Not Recommended at all!*

Room stank of cigarette despite it being referred to as non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor. The staff simply said they tell people not o smoke, but they cannot force them, suggesting terrible management. They changed the room to seemingly a higher priced one, which thankfully didn't have the unbearable smell, but almost everything was broken and the room was extremely dirty, having thick dust under the beds, dirty pieces of plastic and worn hair clips around. The hotel had a night bar, which played music till 3am, which we heard very clearly every day, not having a peaceful night. Don't bother with the gym, as everything is extremely worn and used up, and broken, which is a small room with a few tools, being a poor excuse of a gym. The poor is horrible, it's located in-between buildings with no view and barely any sunlight, terribly designed and small. The staff were kind and professional, but otherwise, horrible hotel, I honestly don't know how it is labelled as a 4-star hotel

The worst hotel in Dubai. I didn’t expect that my experience will be influenced badly after my one night stay in marcopolo hotel/Dubai. CONS OF THE ROOM - the room isn’t clean- high level of dirtiness: - there are only 2 small towels that wouldn’t help - high noises - bad smell - the blankets and pillow covers aren’t clean and not renewed at all - they contain dirty splotches - the mirror isn’t clean - the shelves are highly dirty - the washroom isn’t clean and *not safe*. The glass of the shower could be broken at any moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which is totally unacceptable 😑 CONS OF THE SYSTEM: - the receptionists aren’t kind or polite - no one from the receptionists know the password of the wifi - the calling center / receptionists hang up the phone when calling!!!!! - weak in the organisation of roles (no one was in the parking when we needed our car’s key)

It was a lovely experience with family specially care taken at front office by Mr Suraj Jha who made it so comfortable the check in and accompanying to the rooms. wonderful person with a smiling face always on its toes for taking care of guest needs, This Marco Polo Situated near Deira City Center no problem of any transportation and all in main city we enjoyed a lot Thanks

It's a good hotel located at Deira. I stayed for 5n and 6d. I opted for non smoking room at 4 th floor. We were a couple + a kid and they upgraded to the room with one extra bed which is gud. I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Pros - Room size is ok, we were 3 so it's fine. AC is gud and working. Bed size is good. House keeping staff is gud. It has gud swimming pool. It offers gud breakfast which had a mix of continental and Indian dishes. Hotel location is gud many nearby shopping supermarkets to my general need. Their is a sarvann bhawan on 800m walk for Indian food. Cons - Front desk person Mr Suraj and Bilal need to be more attentive. I was told that i will be shifted to kind size bed room but they couldn't make it on time. They should listen to the preference of solo booking customers too rather putting all attention to group booking customers. Though i was at 4 th floor still till 3 AM daily you keep getting loud music (Imraan hashmi songs)from kitkats club of the hotel. Illumination in room could be improved and should add more lights. Rooms interiors are a bit aged. There are lot of labourers and petty job workers who roam in the evening time around the hotel so you won't see many families and won't like to go outside with your families. all restaurants outside hotel are arabi, Afghani or Pakistani, i found only one Indian restaurant.

Poor customer service in the reception area. We booked for 2 adults & a child (3 month old baby) , non- smoking area ,but still they put us in first floor in a smoking area room .I was very dismayed with what they did, they nearly exposed my child to harmful environment. Rooms are okay yet bathroom needed some deep cleaning esp the bathtub, found some yellowish discoloration (room 405A).Food is good ,the staffs are nice and friendly but there are flies flying in the buffet area. Room 405A - no wifi at all.

The Marco Polo Hotel in Dubai is known for its convenient location and comfortable stay. It offers spacious rooms, good dining options, and friendly service. Guests often appreciate its value for money, especially considering its central location close to various attractions and business districts. While it might not have the extravagance of some of the more luxurious hotels, it provides a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for travelers looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank.

Noisy, not tidy lobby and Corridors. Room was just okay, small old washroom. Fine for bachelors only not much recommended for couples. Consider only if you have no other choice and spend night only. Location wise crowdy and stags all around.

I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest I could find for my 2 day stay. The rooms are spacious and alright but not very clean. The recent reviews on google aren't really justified and the hotel isn't that bad. However, yes there is a weird smell in the hotel (guess its there air freshner). The furniture is alright to be honest but the blanket, pillows and bedsheets are really old and you can feel it. The toilet needs a whole refurbishment as the faucets don't have any pressure, the bath tub is worn out, the shower is broken, water heater doesn't work properly and the whole toilet is rusty. The hotel isn't really worth of being a 4 star. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff and they were helpful and friendly. Would suggest to find other options within the same price rather than booking this hotel.

Worst hotel I have been in Dubai. Shows as a 4 star hotel and it’s is no where close to 1 star. The hotel is almost like an ancient museum. Everything is old and u can feel and smell it when u enter the room. Old and smelly. If u love and if u are a fan of olden golden days u might like it. And then comes the reception. Where do I start. Unfortunately we came across a receptionist called Janiffer . Full of attitude and very rude. After our stay I checked the google reviews and guess what I found. The same janiffer is all over the reviews coz of her bad attitude and her rude service and still she works at the reception. I wonder how they are managing the hotel. Not even checking the guests reviews. Anyway. This place will be better for single people who wants to save money and just needs few hours of shut eye. Nothing else is good there. Don’t ever come here thinking it’s a 4 star hotel. Keep your expectations v v v low. Think u are going to a desert and staying in a tent. Than u will love this place

This is a dingy hotel in my opinion that is only worth it if you can find a really really cheap deal. There are better hotels out there. There are good and bad things to share. First the good. The place is "clean enough' and 'decent enough' for its cheap/value price. It's not the den of despair I thought it would be. The breakfast is good enough too but not for meat eaters, only for vegetarians. The spice chai was amazing. The room cleaning team are amazing. Room service/reception don't pick up the phone very often. The room was clean enough too. The location is great if you plan to stay in Deira as shops downstairs have everything you need and more. On to the bad: The gym is awful. It's shuts at 6pm because of the sketchy night clubs in the hotel. It's stag central in here at night and loud music blares from the clubs till 3am it seems. Didn't bother me too much really. Didn't bother trying room service as the food outside is delicious and cheap and so many options. The pool is not heated in winter. If your a tourist planning to save money don't stay in Deira as taxies are expensive so you spend more money then you save traveling to the othe Side of town. The hotel was 'good enough' is the summary of my review which I think is what they are aiming for, this is not a high quality hotel, just good enough if the price is right.

The room’s AC is not working. We requested to have it fixed or maybe a new room. They sent us to a new room which actually by the way, took a while(we were so sleepy already). When we took a bath the next morning at 6am, there was no heater, it was so freakin cold and had no time to call them because we are in a hurry. Hoping for them to check their rooms before the guest checks in. :(

Best hotel ever. The cost of rooms were reasonable and the staff was very helpful. They even let me give the option of late check out with less than 12 hours left of my stay. The rooms were very clean and service was quick.

Property is a little bit dated. But the staff really try to make your stay comfortable. Only drawback is that it has 4 nightclubs inside so it's hard to sleep due to the noise at night.

Nice room, laptop-friendly desk with necessary ports above the table, and nice lightings. Very good support from house keeping, special thanks to Ashok who is very helpful and prompt to help for all needs and making sure I had everything I needed, and also Francis was very polite and helpful at the breakfast area. And not to forget , a very entertaining and all-in-reach location of the hotel, just walk out and you get everything.

Average place. But good for a short low budget stay. Worth booking room only as there are many food outlets closeby for better rates. Laundry is a bit expensive. Ash at the reception and Ashok at room service provides an excellent service.

The room was good. Youll like it when you see it. But the smell will disappoint you. The couch, the pillows. Stinky. The toilet's odor is also unpleasant. Disappointing. I stayed in the hotel to do some work on my computer, but the wifi you will get in the room is only 1 bar or 2. And most of the time, it gets lost. Was not able to do my work. I hope they will work on this.

Hidden fees, I had to pay additional "tourism tax" ALTHOUGH I paid All taxes when booking through Agoda. The club in the 1st floor makes it impossible for you to relax at night. Breakfast was very basic. An issue with the TV? No problem, just forget about it... because no one is going to fix it even if you call the receptionist for 3 times. The location is good. Interior parking was congested, but I managed to park my car finally.

This hotels location is very good. U just step out of hotel n will see so many restaurants around and nesto hypermarket and 1 to 10 gift markets all around. We parked in basement but there's no lift from basement, u will have to get through stairs to go to reception. Lift is available from reception to all floors. But they will a guy to take ur luggage if asked. Room interiors r from 1980's I guess. Room was clean but bathroom wasn't very clean & was old. No TV channels for kids. Bed was comfortable. Forgot to mention there is no sign board for parking. It was difficult to find, then had to call dem twice.

Worst experience ever. First of all room stinks like an very old place. Secondly we were having lunch and there was a cockroach on the window next to us. We complaint and our room got changed, then again next morning there was i cockroach in the bathroom. One day when we came back from our tour at night ,There was no housekeeping done. Then there was a lady in the hotel restaurant/cafe who wanted to pay us more than what we ordered and was really rude. FINALLY, we changed our hotel and went to other hotel. We wasted our 1night stay and money here in this hotel. VERY VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. FELT LIKE WE SHOULDN’T BE HERE IN DUBAI COZ OF HOTEL. I would give negative rating to this SO CALLED 4 STAR HOTEL. Hotel FYI-Booking is on the name of Inderdeep.

Location is good surrounded with many restaurants. Rooms are ok not a 4 star hotel. Food is good but everyday menu of buffet was same.

It was a great international experience... This hotel seemed to a sweet home for us. We stayed there for 7 nights 8 days. We found it very relaxable, fantastic room service, excellent house keeping boys. I and my siblings stayed in one room. Price of room and food was very reasonable. We got best food there. Hence, very good hotel with excellent staff whether it is receptionist, housekeeping boys, bell boy, room service, etc. I have ever seen before.

It's a 2 star hotel. It requires periodic maintenance. Rooms are good if you ignore the sound coming from the disc at the ground floor of the hotel. Breakfast is fine. Room service is pathetic. Additional water bottles are charged. The wifi is shaky. It is better to pay a little more and stay in another hotel where you can get at least good night sleep.
