It is very poorly maintained property. Below average resort. There is no beach as such as they claim. Whatever is there is not maintained. Very dirty outdoors especially outdoor dining tables. Rooms bathrooms especially are not maintained. Broken tiles stained toilets etc. Not at all worth the money.

I had the worst experience with my family. Customer service was extremely poor. The rooms were not clean and the bathroom was wet because the sink was leaking. They refused to even give us dry towels to clean it ourselves. My sister fell in the bathroom because of the leaking sink and no manager or supervisor had the decency to have a look or even apologise. The maintenance crew who came to repair the sink much later was terribly rude and standoffish. I believe management should take a closer look at the entire staff before they lose all their customers. However thumbs up to their supervisor Peter who tried his best to make our stay better despite his bosses' and colleagues' incompetence.

Never again! I went there with my family last weekend and it was a total waste of money! The rooms especially the bathroom are not properly cleaned and smelly. The outdoor eating area is cat infested and full of bird droppings. And to eat there on numerous occasions we ended up cleaning up the table ourselves. There was a leak in the bathroom which we informed the cleaning crew of. No one came to do anything about it and I ended up slipping and falling in the bathroom (thank God it was me and not any of my two little kids). Even when we called the receptionist about it, no supervisor came to have a look. They rather sent a very rude maintenance person. Their staff are rude and not helpful. It was a vacation from hell! My advice is that you are better off spending your money on the other resorts in the area because Flamingo beach resort will fall far beneath your expectations.

Extremely clean and spacious rooms. There's a restaurant that serves delicious fresh meals throughout the day, a bar, a large pool and water slides, and outdoor seating. It's also pet-friendly and there's sufficient place to walk your dog. There's also a neighbouring beach where boat rides are available. 10/10. Definitely recommend!

I have been to so many beaches resort, but Flamingo is the best. i enjoy the view. Whenever i go, i feel this is the first time i have checked in. The location is excellent. You do really get a great peace of mind when you visit Flamingo beach resort. It has become my next home.

We enjoyed the stay as a family. Quiet n beautiful place. Kids enjoyed the pools n beach. Spacious compound for leisure n walking. Food was delicious. Nice place for family stay. Suggestion for improvement especially in the room, floor mats should be added. Staff n services were very friendly.

There are a lot of things that I can truly want this resort to implement. 1. They do not have cohesive pool rules. Life Guards create their own rules. The day before, they allow you to wear cotton shirt. The next day, they wont. 2. They do not have safety floating lines that divide the deeper pool from the shallow one. Most of the time, they let young ones wander beyond the shallow pool and the lifeguards do not care AT ALL! 3. POOL GUTTER TILES ARE SO SLIPPERY. 4. Pool Tiles are broken which is a safety hazard for swimmers. 5. Only one side of the Beach Area has floating barriers. 6. pool-facing rooms do not have PWD access for second floor. 7. Life Guards are on their phones while on duty!!! 8. The sink in room 212 near the pool kept on clogging! 9. Trash cans along the walkway were too small to accommodate all of the guest's disposal. There were things that I find positive as well. 1. Michelle, the front desk officer is so helpful! 2. The food is good. 3. Fishing spots were determined so well. Plenty of fishes! 4. Plenty of activities like crab hunting, fishing, banana boat rides, jet skis and great Sea-facing rooms! 5. Plenty of greeneries. 6. Bar options are affordable. I hope they address these issues.

Spending one half day... Good place... But not too much attractive... Can spend with ur family... Access to the beach... But I will give 2/5 for beach, it's small and there is no waves 🌊.. I thk it's just part of the sea not proper beach.. Boating and fishing available... (We went with a package.. So not sure about its charges..) Outside dining possible and there is space to conduct party's...

Nice decent place for a getaway with the family. Noticed a few bachelors as well having a ball, dancing to Punjabi music! :) Great staff; very helpful and friendly, and always ready to help with whatever request we made. The rooms we stayed in were literally overlooking the sea, which is great - Gentle sounds of water lapping on the shore, no crashing waves... However, although being a beach-side resort don't expect to do any swimming at the beach as the beach floor is covered with moss and seaweed (see my photos). Also, no Flamingoes in sight. We asked reception and they told us since it was hot weather. I'm giving this 3-star resort a 5-star rating since small places like this deserve recognition for the good work they do in keeping visitors and customers happy.

Picture on the website is deceiving. We went there with friends during UAE National Days for 1 night using Cobone for half board, the breakfast and dinner minimal option. Lot of mosquitoes. The beach is too small. The bathroom is slippery. The resort is surrounded by urban street and construction and not suitable for walking.

I purchased a voucher from COBON, believing I got a good deal, but Hotel charged me 20% tax over the purchase price in a tax-free country. I have lived in UAE for five years and have stayed in countless hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, RAK, Fujairah, Sharjah, Khor Fakkan, etc., but have never been charged 20% tax. Additionally, I paid a surcharge for a weekend stay while most of the resort rooms were vacant. As per my experience, the surcharge is applicable only when a hotel or resort is fully occupied. The resort is surrounded by slums and not suitable for a walk. The beach was full of smell, vegetation, fungi, and microorganisms, so it's not safe for swimming but only suitable for fishing and crab hunting. The rooms were big enough but not clean and smelly. The swimming pool was not clean and was built in an ancient style, so no fresh water flowed. The breakfast was okay, but there were minimal options. Even while searching nearby, I couldn't find a single fine dining restaurant.

Unique hotel offering additional activities of crab hunting in dark, you have to spear the crabs while walking in waist high water using bright underwater light to spot them. One try worth it. Better in warmer climate as you will be in water for about 1 hour. Winter season water maybe too cold. And a fishing wharf where you can cast your own line and get a nibble or two. All catches are cooked in the hotel immediately for your lunch or dinner pleasure fresh from water to your plate.

Stayed with my wife & kid, lovely experience, food served in the restaurant was great, staff were kind and helpful. its a 3-star property and the building is old but the inside of the room was neat and clean, Good staycation time with a low budget. The pool wasn't temperature controlled but that was informed upon room reservation. Beach, garden area - all well maintained. We loved it.

The whole staff we met were efficient, polite and friendly. They always seemed happy to help. We stayed half board, and were very happy with the food. There was always a good variety, so we were usually spoiled for choice. Being given a bottle of wine and chocolates on my birthday was a very nice touch. We would be very happy to return to this fantastic hotel.

Don't you ever come with your family for this resort if you are looking for a comfortable stay. This beach resort accommodate 14 days hotel stay for those who doesn't have direct flight. Next my room the set of labor type was there in their usual lungi and towel and watching from the balcony for the free bikini show desperately. Herewith i have uploaded the pictures , please have a look before your valuable stay and money.

The staff are very accommodating, the venue is a nice place to bring family and friends. I'm even having my wedding here because of their flexibility and facilities. Their party hall is quite impressive.

Except the mosquitoes and room's old interiors all other things were superb and we enjoyed our stay there. Lots of activities are there for kids with a peaceful time for parents as well enjoying drinks and food in the garden with a beautiful view.

No value for money spent. If you haven’t stayed in any other resort in Umm Al Quwain, you may find it good. I have stayed two nights here on 2nd and 3rd of December 2022, all inclusive. I have paid AED.3,860/- (2 persons 2 nights) I have stayed in two other resorts in the past for almost half price in the same emirate. Never, never again to this place.

Breakfast was amazing. Room are okay. Beach is okay not so great. Good place for kids to enjoy. But there is too much loud music playing till late night which is causing disturbance to a peaceful night sleep.

Its a budget resort so dont expect much from it. Pool view and graden view rooms are average with very basic facilities. Rooms are smelly old, and needs renovation. Activities are limited and the pool doesn't have temperature control. Resorts beach area is very small but it is okay. Breakfast and dinner is good, sono complaint about it. Room service is really very poor.

Met life guard thilina at pool side who was very much helpful. Food was excellent and F&B staff Lahiru was excellent with his service. Rooms have to be more cleaner.

A quiet getaway for your family. The breakfast buffet was very good with a large variety of choices (veggies included). The staff are quite friendly. A large pool and a lot of cats around, however, do not leave the balcony doors open. The Resort is great value for the amount you pay, so please do not be an 'entitled Karen'. Mr. Sherif at the reception is a very nice and supportive person. He will guide you to get the best deals. Thank you Sherif.

Place is good for 1 or 2 night stay .. staff are very polite , have nice beach .. good during high tide .. crab hunting and boating are good . You can actually see flamingos flying 😊 Food is good and have Indian varieties in buffet both in breakfast and dinner .. We enjoyed swimming in the pool… Overall very nice experience .

Not bad but the facilities are too bad. The room is old and bad bathroom. The beach is too bad and full of broken shells and full of leaves and there is a sign which says no guard, swim at your own risk. The food is not bad.

The place was horrible, dirty beach, smelly room, and the service was shockingly racist and unprofessional - when we asked for a refund, they said the room is fine, we know the beach is dirty and it's because of "some weird nationalities" coming but we cant refund. This was exactly what they said! The manager at reception is not qualified what so ever to manage customers.. We couldn't stay more than 1 hour and we left without a refund. Smelly room

The place is average and calm . Rooms are old even though it's neat and clean . Swimming pool temperature is not maintained . Very chilling can't be accessed with smaller kids It's freezing. Food is also very average.

They served old chicken which was frozen and kept since long , had informed the waiter and returned the dish to them. Breakfast was limited, spring rolls were served of last night, they were hard and cold, no fresh omelette was served.., scrambled egg was made in large quantity was dumped in the dish and served. Food is not so good. And no deliveries at that place (Zomato or Talabat) 3. Friendly staff but Average Room Service (not up to the mark) 4. Rooms are good but the design and architecture is not great. My expectations were high for the price. Suggestion : Go in a Batch whom you enjoy the most. Amazing for Photos and Flamingos. Kids Friendly. Take all your food stuff with you if possible or take a car and buy the food in the city. I felt its a kind of remote place.

Been here for a day visit only with my husband. Entrance ticket at 80dhs per adult good for a whole day full access at amenities. We had marinara pizza and it was great! Service is as great as their food, friendly staff. Just bring anti mosquito lotion if you plan to stay beyond 6pm! Will be back here again.

A good weekend getaway with a breath-taking view. The place is remarkable with good facilities like pool access, crab hunting, shisha, Jet ski, Blue corner bar etc. They have quite a variety of dishes which we can order, as well as buffet. The place is notable for its most welcoming staffs. Not the least, I would like to add that we have faced few house keeping issues while staying (like wifi problems and room cleaning). Overall experience was so memorable that we often visits the place whenever we feel like we need a break. Highly recommendable to anyone seeking a relaxed and stress-free holiday.

I got a monthly period stain and the reception inform that we need to pay 200aed. They said the beddings will not use anymore since it will not remove on the special chemical they are using. It was a contradicting statement. They said it was in the policy and tried to ask where is the written policy and we didnt sign anything and they were not able to provide a document. It is like snaching a 200bucks in our pocket!

The location is ideal for a short family vacation.The new building's room is very neat and clean. My kids had a great time at the beach and in the pool. The entire staff is extremely helpful and accomodating.

Nothing went well, First a very bad experience, we expect a dinner buffet but unfortunate it was cancelled, we were serve an ala carte menu with out serving any drinks. this is suppose to be a hospitality treatment which is that drinks(water or juice) is to be serve first. Note we came to have a great experience but turned out to be the opposite. Room service: we called 10times as the floor of the room moisting a lot and its slippery. but no one even attend our need of assistance. the value of money which we paid is suppose to matching with the service but it was a very disappointing experience.

For me is the best resort in the entire UAE. Glad to have the opportunity to visit the place as often as I can. The management also is really good. Friendly people, nice funny activities.

Rates are reasonable and you will be happy for what you are paying. There pool is amazing and the access to the beach. Rooms needs some touch ups specially toilet . Pillow needs to be changed as its very old.

The beach is really good. However the pool is really bad. It is not temperature controlled. But the place is beautiful with lot of greenery. Big thumbs up for the DJ for playing music from different languages. Food was good too. Rooms are just ok.

Amazing Atmosphere, and wonderful View for The Sea view rooms. Rooms big and Spacious Balcony. Beach is good. Lots of Cats, mean Really lots of cats. We liked it. I booked 2 rooms and 1 of the rooms were not ready, so we had to wait till 05:30 PM to get the 2nd one, but instead they postponed the Check-out till 2 PM next day. We found 2 spiders, but maybe because the room is facing the beach. So it is ok for us. I bought the package of Premium room including Breakfast and Dinner Buffet, but for No Buffet at dinner, due to less visitors, and instead we got another option is the Set menu which is Satisfying for us. Rates good and affordable.

Customer service was bad.... They had staff telling us that 'ITS NOT MY JOB'!! Hospitality doesn't work that way..When asked for a private room and we got a dark room with no enough lights... When asked the receptionist, she said that comes with PRIVATE... Then we requested another room, and we got one near smoking area!! Again, after joining our double bed the staff left the landline phone on our bed and left!! For kids play area, they only had a swing and a water slide ...The beach was dirty and unsafe with no lifeguard.. The bathroom had no place to keep our clothes or toiletries .!!!.. For us its was a total waste of money.. They had good fishing spot for people who like fishing.... And breakfast was good too..

3 star facilities. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Swimming pool, kids pool with water slide and life guard service is there. Boating to the mangrove islands, fishing and crab hunting facilities available. Large area of garden is the beauty of this place. Alcohol available. They are having indoor and outdoor bar. The restaurant is providing breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Ala carte menu is also available. Beach area is not that much impressive.

Great location. Pools and pool bar are top! Fishing activities and very big grass area to enjoy. All day dining has a very wide a la carte menu and buffet option, very affordable. Staff is very very well trained and really helpful! Smiley, attentive and very polite. They do have several venues to enjoy music and a drink 🍷 and the access is really good.

We like the freedom here. You can swim and grill any time which is good for us. Pool is deep 2.4M but its so hot, hope temperature will be better on our next visit.

It is very unique experience here. Room condition is not good but it is reasonable considering the price. I stayed at 334. Crab hunting is very nice and it is fun to have crab I caught. Staff are very kind and family oriented.

This was one of the best stay we have ever had. Honestly, this was a day to remember. We booked the premium room in seaside and the view was just WOW! Our family enjoyed a lot. For those who have posted negative reviews about this place, please stop spoiling the name of such a good place. The resort was worth for the amount paid. First day service was not upto the par. But, the following days when the crowd reduced their service was excellent. The pool, the beach and surroundings are kept neat and clean. The complementary breakfast was really nice.

It might not have the longest beachfront; however, Flamingo beach is great for families because of its location. It is surrounded by trendy cafes and restaurants and it is serviced with a large parking lot for the ease of access. Just a few minutes drive away from the city centre.
