We first got room 228, smelled like someone had straight up smoked a cigarette. Then were moved to room 448 which has a leak in bathroom. The leak is coming from the toilet. After 3 days of complaining they finally moved us to room 539 where we waited 45 minutes for someone to help with the bags. Finally we had to move the bags ourselves.Ordered whisky and placed it in the freezer and it froze overnight. Which means they are mixing your alcohol. Friendly advice, chose any other hotel but this. I have traveled around the world , this is by far the worst experience ever. I have photos to prove everything too. Ridiculous.

This is definitely not a 4 star property. The Staffs at the front desk- needs training on how to deal with people with formality and not to be rude. Room Service is delayed and they dont understand what you order. Rooms are shabby and needs an upgrade. Room Number 645 was smelly- we told the staff multiple times but they never fixed it. Breakfast area is full of mosquitoes and Flies and definitely needs an upgrade. Breakfast options are decent and tasty. Room Cleaning was done very well the guy who was cleaning was very respectable. Location is just opposite Meena Bazaar - So a Big Plus. Overall Not a 4 star property. If you want to have an average stay- you can go ahead!

Stayed here with family for a week in January 1st week. Highly NOT recommended. Faced following issues 1. Room was very untidy. Dirt all around corners 2. Flush didn't work properly 3. Jacuzzi closing hatch not functional 4. Pathetic toiletry and dental kits issued 5. After 4 days changed bedsheets, that too after informing 6. Was provided torn towels. 7. Worst was very lackadaisical room service and response to complaints. Please don't visit this hotel

I stayed in Ascot . Tow connected hotels. Room size is good , you feel comfortable moving in it . However , bed size is small 140 cm only which is not sufficient for tow . Hotel is old , old style, old lifts , old finishes , old furniture , old fittings and accessories, old duvet and pillows . The worst part is the view of the room towards outside. It views opposite building , equipments and services . You keep the curtain closed better . Lighting in the room is less, can't make up on good lighting , too dark. Gym closes at 7 pm , can't work out after your return . Not suitable timing for Gym .

Royal Ascot hotel is one of best hotel in dubai UAE. That is not very expensive or not very economical they charge reasonable price to stay there. Also all hotel in dubai they charge 15AED as a tourism fees per room per night. Parking space is very huge in this hotel than others.

Rooms are nice, tidy. There are lounges, bars and restaurants in the hotel. Swimming pool, gym and Spa available on the roof top setting. Location is very nice, as it is very near to shopping areas. Plenty of restaurants around. It would have been better if they provide an microwave oven and some cutleries. TV and channels need improvement.

Nice hotel but there is two hotel one is Ascot and another Royal Ascot in Comman. Royal Ascot is new Hotel. But We book stay at Ascot so having old Style rooms but those also nice. Little bit congested room for couple. Room service also average so giving 4🌟. reception looks not good because I inform them for reset the INDIA flag 4 times which is not in good condition in front of hotel. But they ignore and place it properly. So not happy with reception.

there are cockroaches in the room and debug on the sofa. washroom lock is not properly working. tv remote is not working properly. pillows in the room are half broken. i have intimated the same to the management but they are hardly concerned. I stayed here for 4 days but one of the worst experience. i would like to give 1 star and will not recommend to stay here. there are 4 lounges in the hotel and music is that loud that you can't sleep in the room till 3 in the night. I have seen reviews on the website but now it looks like these were paid reviews.

Excellent hotel. This was our first trip to Dubai. We really liked the hotel. It was suggested by our tour operator but we learnt more about the hotel after staying there. It has very reasonable tariff plans and is really excellent value for money.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The rooms were large and immaculate, with all the amenities I needed. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was in the hotel for 10 days. Here are the pros and cons Pros 1. Nice staff . Very helpful. Especially the instructor at the pool. 2. Everything is very accessible here. Metro, ATM, Food joints, Meena bazzar are all at walking distance. 3. Food quality was good with nice variety. Cons 1. Be sure to check at the reception that your room has no disturbance due to the night club at the 3rd floor.

A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. DEFINITELY THE SETBACK OF OUR STAY IN DUBAI. I WILL NEVER EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN NOR RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. For someone who has been to different places and types of accommodation, it made me wonder how on earth they were given a 4 star rating. I just hope people are more honest and straightforward in giving their ratings or reviews as there are people who tends to read and believe them. 1. Check-in Scene We booked a room online weeks ahead of our trip to Dubai for 6 nights and specifically mentioned that it’s for 2 male adults and that we need a twin bed on a higher floor level. Upon arriving the hotel, they never provided us with our requests. In fact, we were surprised why they gave us a room with a King Bed as it was clearly mentioned on our booking requests. We had to wait at least 30-45 minutes more for them to prepare a room for us. For a 4 star hotel to completely disregard a simple guest requests mean they are incompetent, never at par with other hotels with a 4 star rating. 2. AC Scene Upon entering the room, we already noticed that it’s not cold. We did not complain right away as we were thinking they just opened the AC. But as the night came, the room temperature was still the same. We called them to complain and they assured us to send a technician. The technician came in to check and said that the heater was on that’s why it’s not getting cold. We believed the technician, we went out for a dinner and spent time outside until 1 am. To our surprise when we get back to our room, nothing’s changed, unpleasant room temperature. I remember, every night it was our dilemma and every time we complained they will send different technicians with different reasons given to us. We requested to be transferred to another room but to no avail as they told us they were fully booked. They only changed the room on our 5th day, that’s after we escalated the complain to their Hotel Manager, Mr. Peter. 3. Breakfast Scene We expected a dining area that was full as it was during the Eid Holiday but what we never expected was the way they treated their guests. My friend and I, were already having our breakfast and all of a sudden without courtesy or even saying excuse the supervisor in the dining hall pulled a chair and let the 2 other guests join us. I mean, it’s OK to have them join us but at least say something or even the word excuse should have been accorded. Basic manners. The food were not good at all, even the fruits were not fresh. After that ridiculous experience, we never ate breakfast in the hotel again. 4. Lobby Scene (Racist Hotel Staffs) We were on our 3rd day in the hotel and we decided to go to the beach. Upon our way out, we were ecstatic and excited but these were cut short, when we arrived the hotel lobby the male receptionist named Zahkoor or Sahakur suddenly asked us what’s our room number. We were in disbelief why we were being asked of our room number. I asked him back, why he was asking for our room number and he answered it was his job to ask guests this question and that they always asked guests this whenever they are going out. I totally did not believe him because they never asked us days before that. So I asked again, what’s the real reason. He then replied, it’s checkout time and you both have a backpack and a plastic bag with you. I politely replied, if ever we are going to checkout we will definitely inform you. We have bags because we will go to the beach. Please do not ask us again as it made us feel uncomfortable. After telling him this, he still insisted that we should provide him our room number. So I asked again, why? He replied, it’s for security purposes. That’s when I asked him, if we look suspicious personalities? He said, No but still insisted for our room number. It was an awful and humiliating experience. So many disgusting things happened. The lady security was rude as well. - The closet of our 1st room was smelly. The bath tub was leaking and looks dirty. Itchy bed linens. ABSOLUTELY NOT DESERVING OF A 4 STAR RATING.

I stay ascot hotel for 15 days. Wifi is not working in room 203 properly. I had to come in lobby for work. It’s too bad for me. I complained about this problem but their IT department did not response. We had including breakfast package. First 4-5 days breakfast quality and variety was good but after 4-5 days hotel was feed up with travellers then breakfast was same every day. No variety in food all day same food.

i happened to stay in this beautiful place. the support and service they offer is so remarkable. the supplies and amenities provided are great. the laundry service and the other facilities are prompt. they understand the customers feelings rather than making most of the money out of them. check out times are liberal (personal opinion). complimentary breakfast are up to the mark. altogether these people value our time and money. the check-in process are based only on submission of proper IDs. so if you're planning on stay, like any other good hotels they too ask for proper IDs.

Hotel room is good but they charge high. It's not worth the money. You will not find their staff very cooperative. I stayed here in Room 442,443 and they don't even try to understand your point of view. Madam Marrisa is behaved not in a very friendly gesture. If you don't care about value for money then go and book. But if you care about the overall experience of staying then don't book!

This was our stay first stay at Royal Ascot hotel. We stayed there on 28/06/2023 for 3 nights and we were completely satisfied with their services, All members of the reception desk was supportive and co-operative. I was amazed with their interior and waiting lobby. I also wanted to give special thanks to room service who were doing cleaning on daily basis. I would definitely recommend this hotel someone who is coming with family or bachelor as well in Bur dubai. Their rates, food are reasonable and location is perfect where there is nearby amenities like shop, groceries, restaurant's. For next visit, definitely i will plan a stay with family. Thanks :). Please keep up it.

Horrible room service. Presently a guest. Have placed dinner order since past 50 minutes. Room service has stopped responding and receptionist says they are unavailable. They’ll be available after 10 minutes. That too has passed!!!! What kind of hospitality is this????

The best hotel to stay in Heart of the city with reasonable value. I liked the hotel, its near to Bus and metro station. All required accessioers are availabe in your room. Breakfast was ok .. I had some issue with my hot water and immediately it was rectified by maintaince team , Mr. Francis the Maintaiance engineer was very quick to respond with his team. Try food in Fisherman HUB, southindian worth trying . Overall my stay had extra value by staying in Ascot.

    1. The rooms were so dirty that there was dust everywhere on the chairs and on the table. We even got allergic rashes even after getting the sheets changed every day, because of this we asked to be moved to another room. 2. Coming to the food, the breakfast buffet was not having good options and all we could eat was fruits and bread omelette. The dining area was so chaotic that we barely had space to sit. The tables were not cleaned properly and the dining mats were not changed after every meal. It was just wiped off with a tissue. 3. Another point to mention for the breakfast. We understand that they need to prepare for lunch in the afternoon but for some ppl who would've walked in for breakfast are rudly met with the staff who come and inform that the breakfast will be shut in the next 5 mins, it's common courtesy to let ppl eat for a bit. The staff manners and courtesy needs to change big time. 4. Coming to the room service, we ordered food from their restaurant and they took a hell lot of time to send us. Once the food was received and we started eating, we noticed that the food which was served was spoilt. It appears they just reheated the rice with the vegetables that was ordered with the biryani. 5. The hotel is definitely overpriced for the quality of service they offered, they are listed as a 4 star hotel but it's not even worth 2 stars 6. Hope these points are taken into consideration for further improvements in the quality of service and food they offer.

We stayed for 5N. Every morning we had to call maintenance to fix the electric kettle and TV. The electric sockets weren't fine and that caused issues with kettle and TV as they shared that electric connection. The plug points at all places weren't working. The couch in main room and the living room were quite dusty and caused us lot of allergic reactions. The cleaning person was informed and yet the same dusty every day. The fun part is hotel offered us to change room on our last night out. What is the point???.. The room didn't have hot water all the time. We were told to let go of water for 10 mins to get hot water but no luck even after 25-35mins. The breakfast buffet was a good spread but the manager wasn't coordinating well. There was a family there handling the buffet food with hand. Feel the paratha in hand and discard if not fine. It is quite a unhygienic practice and hotel staff did nothing about this.

Amazing location right next to Meena bazar! Good electronic shops and gold shops are within 10 min walking distance. Lot of eateries within 500m. We got a free upgrade on our room. The room was spacious and they provide house keeping services daily. The breakfast spread was great. Definitely recommend this hotel due to its prime location and access to metro/bus.

Service is poor. They don't treat the customers well. If you guys are running a hotel, then know that you should treat your customers with hospitality. Quality of rooms at ascot hotel, are also poor and not upto the mark. Staff must understand how to deal with a customer. Never coming back here

I will see best hotel according to price in Dubai, very great rooms with safe and one of the best bathrooms in it and other thing is they are having very educated and good behaving staff, their breakfast is top notch, which is also the key point to take this hotel I will recommend to everyone to stay here if it is in your budget Last, but not least, there is a girl over here from Nepal. Her name is Rita She’s a servant she is the best lady I have ever met as a waitress. She’s doing her job like a pro hats off to that hard-working girl.👍

As a first timer to dubai. As a couple we had an issue with our booking location but vishu at the counter was patient and courteous to accommodate us . Rooms are decent. Bathroom is average bit clean. Lobby is elegant but the lifts are not air-conditioned somehow. Over all if you're on a budget and want a above average room this is a good option.

One of the worst customer services we experienced in the recent times in Dubai. We visited The Original Rooftop Lounge” in Royal Ascot Hotel today. While making the reservation, we took confirmation that there will be valet services provided. The valet was utterly rude and did not want to assist by saying park yourself. Once I parked and entered the hotel, I complained at the front desk and mentioned that my friends should not face similar problems once they arrive. The front desk personnel assured me that this will be taken care of. Not only that the valet didn’t take my friends car he actual raised his voice towards her by saying she is blocking the traffic. When the night was over and we were leaving, we went back to the front desk to discuss the matter. Even they seemed quite uninterested. When the valet guy was called in, his attitude still remained the same. One of our worst experiences. Never going back here!!!

A great hotel. The lobby is grand and it catches your eye. The first day when we came our room was heavily understocked we had to ask the front staff to add the items. The food is decent but please add some more vegetarian items. Overall a nice hotel Review by 7th grader

Excellent hotel, right in city heart where most of markets are just walk away. From Meena bazaar to Metro station. Great location. Hotel rooms were ready and tidy. Checkin was smooth, sweet people Nishi, Tanya and Rico were always available to help and assistance. Thanks guys for making our trip most memorable.

Our initial room check-ins were delayed by 1.5hrs. Rooms were cleanly maintained. Breakfast was decent. Friendly staff. They have a old hotel building by name 'Ascot Hotel' attached to 'Royal Ascot Hotel'. These two are different hotels sharing few common things like swimming pool, breakfast area, etc.

Nice & cool arrangement on the rooftop for the summers but with the enclosed structure, the music needs to be tuned down.. 1. The worst 4-star hotel I have ever experienced in my whole life as a traveler around the globe. We complained about the hotel aircon on our first day as it was not working correctly, but the management disregarded and took action to move us on our 5th day. 2. Rude receptionist (Sakor) the fact receptionist is the one who entertained us during our check-in. Yet, every time we go out of the hotel, we feel like we are strangers and doing something terrible in the hotel by asking us which hotel room number we stayed in and bringing something going out. (Racist) 3. The room is far different from the pic, the old sofa, itchy bed linens, and fridge and TV is not functioning. 4. Leaking water pipes inside the toilet, incomplete toiletries. And a lot more to tell... 😡😡😡😡😡

Going abroad for the first time and knowing Dubai is one of the most sought tourist places, I was very much sure the hospitality industry will be top notch and Royal Ascot Hotel stood true to the testament. Right from the check in at the reception, Swizel at the front desk made the check in smooth and easy. The rooms were great and tidy. It had all the required features. The room boys are excellent in their work. As Dubai is hot, you need to keep on drinking water and every time the room boys make sure that the new water bottles are kept. To top it all, these were complimentary water bottles. The hotel’s complimentary breakfast is also good. Everyday they had a different menu. The hotel is located centrally I would say. There are shops, metro station as well close to the hotel. The lobby is also huge. You can sit and relax there when you wait for your taxi to come.

1st experience but very horrible.. I got shower problem. Lodge report 4 times at the counter before the maintenance come. In between that when I call the reception (An Indian lady) she quickly put the phone off whenever hear my voice. I didn't evern use any harsh word or cursed her. But it is very unethical for a front desk worker to do so..

Fabulous hotel not far from Dubai mall and center. Well situated for the uber and taxi. The inside is modern, class and very clean. The bedrooms are amazing. Having a room service 24/7 . Very satisfied with two room boys poshtraj and basudev. Very polite and easy to communicate with. The breakfast was so delicious with a different menu every morning. I will definitely go back.

I’m giving 3* because of 2 reasons 1) My husband booked room through Agoda and he mentioned newly married couple, but when we came to reception the receptionist gentleman was not able to find our reservation 🤷‍♀️ somehow found our He found out our reservation but even he didn’t read what was mentioned in comments, we are informed him that there’s some requests. Thank you to the lady in reception didn’t ask her name, she is the one helped us, she was so professional and kind Ms. Swicel ( if i wrote wrong her name sorry in advance). It was first reason. 2) in the Breakfast time there were Joy from Philippines, Adnan from Pakistan thank you to both of them for their service, kindness and cuteness, thank you to chef for delicious omelette, but there was a gentleman Faisal who was as a Host very rude, full of attitude with guest with staff, unprofessional and the way how he behaved with staff it was completely wrong. Just wanna say to him and others managers that u r nothing without ur team, achievement which u getting all ur team staff waiters waiter hard work not your. Respect ur team, treat them nicely. This was second reason. Room was nice, location was nice. Room number 543 Myself Nozanin

It's a shame cause the staff and front desk are amazingly nice, but HYGIENE! The moment I walked into my room, floors were dirty. I thought maybe they just forgot to clean or something. The rooms looked overall nice, hotel standard. But everything else is just a catfish. You look outside the hotel, looks nothing like the photos. The lobby is nice. But elevators are old and do not have sensors, they close while you try to walk in and don't reopen. I leave my glass of water on the table while I go to the toilet and come back to a COCKROACH floating in it. I'm not scared or disgusted usually so I just threw it in the toilet and laughed. That was until I found my whole room was cockroach infested. I open the cupboard to my fridge and theres a swarm of cockroaches just there. My friends, staying in another room on the same floor, also said they have had problems with this. Maybe the hotel is just fully infested? Anyway, I wouldn't go here if I were you.
