This
is
my
fourth
time
staying
at
Ibis
Styles
Jumeira
and
what
I
originally
considered
to
be
a
4*
hotel
has
gradually
reduced
in
quality.
After
considering
other
hotels
nearby,
I
decided
to
give
Ibis
one
last
try
due
to
my
familiarity
of
the
hotel.
Firstly
the
cost
of
this
hotel
has
almost
doubled
within
2
years
for
the
same
time
periods.
After
initially
contacting
the
hotel
online
and
sending
a
family
member
in
person,
the
hotel
was
unable
to
offer
any
loyalty
rates
or
match
the
price
of
even
4*
hotels
in
the
area.
The
location
of
course
is
great,
but
there
are
much
higher
rated
hotels
nearby
for
a
lower
price.
Halfway
through
my
stay,
the
hotel
has
decided
to
remove
plastic
bottles
and
replace
with
glass.
Great!
But
they
are
asking
for
40AED
to
take
the
bottles
outside
of
the
hotel.
I
imagine
this
was
a
display
to
impress
COP28
guests.
The
room
had
a
strange
smell
after
returning
each
day
and
had
several
flies.
I
would've
complained
about
this
but
after
making
similar
complaints
on
previous
stays,
I'm
told
there
is
nothing
that
can
be
done.
The
area
itself
also
appears
to
be
getting
worse
and
the
streets
are
lined
with
staring
men
at
night
and
feels
very
uncomfortable
to
walk
around.
My
final
concern
was
being
told
to
sit
and
wait
for
10
minutes
to
check
out
whilst
housekeeping
checked
my
room
for
any
damages.
This
feels
extremely
insulting
as
I
have
never
experienced
such
suspicion
at
any
other
hotel
or
at
my
previous
visits
to
this
hotel.
If
this
hotel
doesn't
adapt
its
pricing
and
start
looking
after
its
loyal
customers,
they
will
surely
lose
more
regular
customers
like
myself.
