Unmet Expectations at Dubai Marine Beach Resort Hotel: Dear Dubai Marine Beach Resort Hotel Management and Team, I am writing to express my disappointment following my recent stay at your resort. I selected your establishment with the anticipation of exceptional service and facilities. Regrettably, my experience did not align with these expectations, particularly concerning the accessibility of your amenities. I have a busy schedule, engaged in meetings from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and I chose your resort specifically for its potential for relaxation during the early mornings and late evenings. However, it was disheartening to find out that key facilities such as the swimming pools, private beach, gym, and steam bath had very restrictive operating hours, opening only after 8:00 AM and closing by 6:00 PM. This timing made it impossible for me to use these amenities considering my commitments. The reasoning given by your staff, attributing the early closure to the manager’s personal schedule, is quite surprising and frankly unsuitable for a resort of your standing. The core of hospitality, particularly in a luxury resort, is to meet and exceed the needs of every guest. In this case, the needs of guests like myself seem to have been overlooked. Additionally, the absence of the manager for direct communication and the lack of a responsible authority during this period is a significant lapse in customer service. Being directed to staff members who are unable to address or escalate my concerns only added to my frustration. This inflexible policy not only shows a lack of regard for guest convenience but also significantly diminishes the overall experience and value for money, especially for someone who chose your resort for its reputed superior service and flexibility. As I continue my stay for three more days, I feel a sense of regret and dissatisfaction, questioning my decision to choose a premium resort that does not adequately prioritize the basic needs and relaxation of its guests. I hope you view this feedback not just as a critique but as a chance to reflect and enhance your service standards, policies, and guest relations. My wish is that future guests will not encounter similar disappointments. Thank you for taking the time to consider my experience.

SIMPLY Amazing Vacation !!! Visited Couple of weeks ago. We became Fan of this beautifully maintained resorts. Super Clean and tidy all the times. Housekeeping is top notch at all the areas of the hotel. Front office assistance are also great, Check in process was amazing. Restaurants of the hotels are serves excellent food. I would recommend to everyone. Will visit soon.

Came here again after an year and had a wonderful time as last year and would definitely come back again next year. I like this place for many reasons but the most important is the hospitality of the staffs. I would especially like to thank the housekeeper Nithin for his amazing hospitality and kindness. I was happy when he noticed me even after an year when I passed by him. Also he remembered some of my preferences and made my room very clean and this helped me stay comfortably and enjoy my stay. Thanks to the amazing hospitality of Nithin and his colleagues, this hotel is now my favorite place to travel.

Do NOT BE FOOLED by their 5 star designation. Service is absolutely AWFUL, the facilities are old and common spaces are poorly serviced. Common changing bathrooms are NOT cleaned regularly, rooms smell and there are multiple unhappy guests with the same issues mentioned above. You will be paying $350 a night, save your money and STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! The hotel’s location is also AWFUL, there is NOTHING around it. Pictures might look nice but they are 100% deceiving. Dubai is a city of luxury and this “5 star” hotel is FAR from it. I recommend you stay downtown or in the financial district.

I would like to say thank you for the housekeeping Team and the management for their excellent job. They are doing very good job hope to see you all. I was very happy for the housekeeping service and the cleanliness is over the top, the lobby areas smell is very nice and very clean and tidy. I was very grateful to stay in your hotel and especially I want to say thank you for the attendant who was cleaning my room, it was fantastic.

A memorable 2 days staycation. Well maintained resort, 5 restaurants, 2 clubs to enjoy. The property is beautiful, all the plants and walkways, little bridges really make u feel like being close to nature and they are maintained well also.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for over a month. The perfect place to combine business and leisure. Hotel close to Business Bay and Downtown. The hotel is quite spacious and green. Villas with two rooms are convenient and comfortable. Comfortable lobby for business meetings. The beach is isolated, but it does not bother. You can sunbathe and swim far. The staff is attentive. We only took breakfast as we were mostly on the road. For a month, he certainly got tired. I would like more variety, at least a few a couple of times a week. Taverna has very attentive waiters. Special thanks to Lakshmi. She helped and took care of us for several weeks and was very attentive. We didn’t even have to repeat the order, as they remembered and already did it the way we used to. It's very cool. Also thanks to the front desk reception (Alina and Aika). Constantly addressed with various requests and questions and always found support and help. The hotel itself is not new, but after a week you get used to it and feel comfortable. In general, a great place for family holidays and work. Hope to spend time there again soon.

had planned out honeymoon stay with marine beach resort thinking as it’s a 5 star the amenities and the resort would be amazing but it turn out to be a disappointment with very basic facilities and outdated design of room and toilet for a 5 star rating resort to carry. not going for this resort in future for certain What didn’t like about the resort : 1) instead of a king/queen bed they provided us twin bed combining which was soo discomfort while sleeping 2) the Toilet was total outdated 3) the bath tub use to clog 4) we live in arab county and there is no JET SPRAY in toilet. Bizzareeee 5) no spa, all under construction 6) Lunch buffet was soooooo basic, no humus for tikka, no gravy for rice, no soft drink with food. ridiculous. this can’t be called a 5 star

I was here from 23/02/22-27/02/2022 and liked this hotel very much, located in a good area where everything is nearby. The hotel also has its own beach, swimming pool, cafes, restaurants, diving, spa center. The rooms cleaned everyday, attentive and polite staff, especially Akhmed on reception ☺️☺️

Definitely not a 5 star resort. Rooms are dated and don’t feel comfortable. I had to move rooms as the first room smelled like cigarettes. There are definitely newer and nicer places to stay at these prices.

They did not provide us with a place on the beach, the hotel manager was rude and did not solve anything in response to our requests. He only spoke rudely. The waiters provide excellent service, but replace the manager so that the work in your hotel will become better.

The property is kinda old but the service is amazing. And it was our anniversary week so we didn’t want any hassle. The drivers and bell desk were very quick while helping with the luggage and the front desk was super cool. Overall was a good stay

Nice atmosphere , great ambiance, and Fantastic Room service. Especially NITIN the guy, he has good service skills, he always makes sure that he delivers his services diligently and his a really joyful and delightful guy. I just love his special services when it comes to room preparation and management.

I like this resort a lot. I been many time in restaurants for shisha but still not stay in here. This time I had a good experience in here . Friendly and helpful staff and receptionist. Room suite is nice, huge, convenient. I like atmosphere trees around, very calm and relaxed. Breakfast was nice. Private beach also nice. Great value with rates. I will definitely come again. Dubai Marine Beach Resort is a 4-star hotel priced at 5-star one. During my 5 days stay, I had to call 3 times every day to have my room cleaned. The receptionists were never friendly or helpful. Other than this, the hotel has a nice small beach, the staff of the restaurant and coffee shop are friendly. I do not think I will book it again.

It was a very bad experance ever First we arrived to the room it was very derty we called them several time for cleaning but the staff was unhelpful after one hour of calling we call the manager till they respond and come to clean it Second there was no towels in the room again we need to call several time to get Out side was top derty not even suitable for animals to use it Then in the night for blanket and bellows we were trying to call them for 3 hours and we were trying to reach the night manager he was unreachable and the receptionist was tilling I'm the manager then we descover that the manager was anther person. after 3 hours we went to reception he keep us for more than half hour waiting then he said it is not available and if you don't like it you can leave or we will lower you the price of the room

Our housekeeper Miss May was the best. Her cleaning services were top notch and she had such a sunny disposition and a sunny smile. She was very friendly and quite helpful. We had such an awesome stay and would definitely recommend the hotel

We are immensely disappointed with our stay at Dubai Marine Resort & Spa. 1) First and foremost, the name itself states resort and spa. They fail to mention however, that the spa is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Even reception failed to give us the heads up and we had to find out when asking staff around the resort. 2) Early closing times. Facilities close really early. Beach access closes 5.30pm, while pool access and gym closes at 7pm. Hence, if you have any plans to tour Dubai during the day you definitely will miss out on these amenities. 3) Overpriced and small. Rooms are small and overall not worth the price you pay. Upon entering the room you could basically dive right into the beds. The private beach is so miserably small. It was underwhelming to see. Rooms seem to have a stale SMOKE smell. The water pressure is really weak and the toilet flush feels like it’s going to spoil any moment. Broken hangers in the room and not cleared. 4) The reception staff are untrained. For a 5 star hotel, the reception staff gave wrong information that there were no eateries and facilities outside the resort and said the resort is secluded. However, when my family decided to explore the area, there is literally a long stretch of restaurants and cafes right across the road. The staff do not seem to be well trained in customer service. For a 5 star hotel this was surprising. We called the buggy service, at times they were excellent and fast but it did not show up 2-3 times when called and we were just left standing around before deciding to just walk. Subsequently we decided not to use the buggy service. One of the staff goes around checking the mini bar 2x while we are in the room which seemed strange. 5) Their processes and check in check out systems are dated. Check in check out times are slow and inefficient. Overall, the aesthetics of the place is really nice and it has potential. However the cons outweigh the pros. This stay dwindled my family’s Dubai experience

We had visited the Resort for Brunch with friends and had really really great time. I must say team is amazing and great food to have there Mr. Ali is best manager I must say as his hospitality shows in his work and in his team. The Staff like , Ayu, Rejoic Bimlla etc. make the place even more better with their prompt service.. For sure we recommend this place to all to have great time and value for money.

If ur visiting DXB for vacation this is the best 5 star place to stay and have fun. Gr8 room and service, most friendly n helpful staff. And all the entertainment you could ask for is available on site. Water sports, beach, spa, swimming pools, many restaurants onsite and in walking distance, and city's best clubs.

Many outlets with different cuisines in quite, intimate environment. It's great place for pool day or evening dinner, either in couple or with friends. Sushi is amazing btw :)

When we arrived we had a really tiny and totally horrible, dark room. So I talked a very helpful lady to the reception and we were able to change the room. Otherwise I would have definately left the hotel. So I can understand if some comments here are not good about the rooms, but the one we got then was very nice, very clean and bright. The staff is extremly friendly, especially the ladies in the restaurant Bismati and Bimala. The breakfast was very tasty and very international. The hotel is small and feels kind of private, which ist very nice. It is not totally packed. The beach is small, nice and clean. It is not the most quiet hotel, due to the windows. So you can hear the mosque calls and on the weekends there are restaurants and a club very close. Alltogether I think the price you pay here matches what you get. If we come back, we would choose the same hotel.

My experience over at the resort has been an amazing and jaw dropping experience. I spent my anniversary day over there with my girlfriend on new year's eve and It was hands down the best ever. I would go to the resort multiple times if i could and most definitely, I'll be back.

Yesterday I visited the Barefoot lounge located in this hotel resort. It’s so beautiful and adorable place. I really like the atmosphere, music, food and drinks 🍹. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Specially manager Senthim was so professional and nice person and he looked us . I really recommend this place and definitely will come back again

I rarely give a restaurant the five stars in my rankings but actually ZAMAN Restaurant deserves it. Discover the international and local flavors that offer you a wide range of cuisines to satisfy everyone’s craving. The quality and the variety of food dishes are really very good they covered most of food types. The place is very quiet and staff are so welcome and helpful.

As expected, there is a significant discrepancy between the hotel photographs and the reality of this rundown hotel but I’d like to share much bigger problems… Without any notification on the website nor a heads up from the reception when booking… The Spa was closed. 2 out of 3 pools were closed. The Japanese restaurant hot drinks weren’t even being served due to issues from the previous raining day and the junior suite rooms plus bath looked like a 2 star hotel in the west. AVOID AT ALL COSTS 🙏🏻

This place has NO handicap accessibility/People Of Determination accommodations. The hotel has a bathroom designated for POD but it has a step to get into (how are you supposed to do that with a wheelchair????) And NO railing to support. Why even bother designating handicap bathrooms? VERY disappointing and outdated, especially considering how accessible and accommodating literally any other place in Dubai is. Shame on management for not updating their facilities.

Incredible stay. Apartment was spacious, clean and modern, set amongst an exotic walk along the water features. Beach is private and lushes. Alfonsus the beach bar man really made the stay 5 star. He is incredibly kind and friendly and will go above and beyond to cater for all your needs. Thank you so much!

Lovely beach, pool and food in Taverna. Erich the lady on reception is incredible, welcoming , polite, knowledgeable and always positive. Food for brunch was yummy, especially the sushi 🍱 lobby is also quite nice and service is quick and responsive. Great value of money 💴 thanks 😊

Amazing food, iced coffees and all round very good place to relax and have fun! A massive thank you to the team at the pool bar, especially Alphonsus who looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. We had a good laugh with the rest of the team & will be coming back again!

I had booked a private Dinner for my dads 75th Birthday Anniversary and it was a very special occasion for us. Upon reaxching there we were very disappointed as we were handed out the worst experience possible. The management , service and food all were pathethic and the overall cold treatment was shocking. There was no one available for checking what we need . The waiter looked hassled and just kept serving the menu after huge delays . Had to go up to counter to keep reminding them. The cake message was faulty and even a small request of having a few baloons couldnt be managed. What was promised in the menu wasnt served fully and looked like the hotel cut corners inspite of taking the premium charges. Table was cluttered with water bottles glasses and there was no one to suggest anything. Even some light poles had just fallen off. Some of the menu food taste was awful details of which i would not get into Upon getting in touch woth the staff for spoiling the occasion they tried to cover up with blatant lies , refused refund and just offered a complementary dinner. I would not recommend this place to anyone in future neither visit . They have 5 star label and deliver not even half a star. Will share review on more platforms so guests are aware in future.

Value for money brunch with pool experience. Nothing wow about it. But it just satisfies you in the simplest, modest way.

It’s a nice hotel but a bit old. Definitely need changes to be done to keep it competitive with other hotels in Dubai. We would like to thank Alphonsus and Pradeep at the beach bar who made our stay unforgettable! They are very friendly, helpful, intelligent and always ready to assist. Another star of the team is Kasume Mohamed - very hardworking person, polite and very helpful. Because of these guys we are coming back to this hotel!

I visited to attend interview So beautiful hotel. Lot of candidates were there standing in sunshine. But, hotel management setup more chairs and allowed them to sit inside this beautiful hall. I don't know i will get call from HR or not but giving 5 stars for doing this act of kindness.

I rather regularly come to this hotel more than ten years. I like everything. The highest level of service and service. Tasty food. Cozy and spacious rooms. The clean small private beach with umbrellas and plank beds. In total elaborately and beautifully. I do not love huge hotels. This club especially for me. For the real relax and rest. I adore local SPA. Every time I go to local hammam. Ten years in it the beautiful girl from Morocco, her name is works as Mariam. Clever fingers! As anew was born after its massage. In the territory of hotel there are a lot of greens, streamlets and bridges, fountains. You wake up under singing of birds, a paradise garden! Thanks for my wonderful rest! I will surely return!

The rooms are very outdated as if you are in a 2 stars hotel, the housekeeping matials are damaged and dirty even the new changed ones like towels and bed covers, see pictures. If you really care about these details, I don't advise you to stay there unless for the sun. Outdoor is nice with the beach and swimming pools, but they should have towels station near the beach side. Nightclubs very high paying entering fee even if you are staying at the hotel hotel, restaurants are from the 80'd

Hotel is quite old with dated interiors. Have been there for an event and the food was also not great. The service was good overall.

One of the oldest resorts in Dubai, recently gently refurbished, has a nice ambiance. Recommended

This place is a little gem in Jumeirah 1 with it's tropical charm and walk ways filled with greenery. There is several options for dine in. We started at the seafood restaurant. Although a bit dated, the food and service made up for it. We enjoyed dessert and drinks by the mini water fall with perfect lounge furniture. We finished the night at the barefoot lounge on the sand with the view of the beach and the moon. Spectacular experience overall with service, music, and food. The gift shop offers beautiful handmade kafta's. Definitely worth the visit.

You can't call it resort guys. You are dumbing people like this. It is actually a nightclubs gathering more than Hotel. Beach area is almost 12 m, if we could call it beach. Staff at reception don't want to work, you feel like bothering them by any request or simple check in.
